I think it would be amazing if in fifa 09 new off the ball physics could be used and you could use tricks like ronaldo and anderson in which they put balls into space and then run around the defender and catch it. also it would be really nice if players set up the computer or other players for nutmegs and incredible tricks

Make the players leave marks on the pitch like when they do a slide tackle. I played the euro 2008 demo and was a disappointed that there were no mud tracks where the players had slid. They slide really far and shud leave marks in wet conditions.

when substituting the cptain of the team u should be able to have the choice of who takes on the role of captaincy instead of it just being the substitute coming on.

i would like to see interwiews after every match where you comment on the teams performence. more choice of stadiums and better atmosphere from the crowd.

19.before kick of there is a coin toss to see who kicks of first u should be able to do that and choose head or tails and if u want to kick off or not.
20. u should be able to do a c.ronaldo and fake dive.
21.ur keeper should if he needs to run out and try and get the ball but if he times the tackle wrong he can give away a freekick or red or yellow card if its really bad tackle.

You should be able to make managers in more detail like on the Champions League games.
For manager mode.

Also when you make a new team there should be more options for making the team badge and
the badge should be shown in match play. And for some reason the Names on created kits are all
the same colour, that fault should be fixed.

on the manager mode there should be a swap option for transfers so you could then swap players and or with money, like when arsenal and chelsea did that swap plus money deal with ashley cole and william gallas. the game should also have a dive button so you can get decisions from refs but if the ref sees the dive you get a yellow card like in the real game.

You should be able to choose real designs for your kits eg: adidas, nike and umbro.
You need a Colour pallet so we can choose wat eva colour we want our kit to be… like silver and purple or something but the colours we have now arent enough, they are too basic and you cant even put half of the primary colours as secondary colours.

Sponsorship signs on ur jersey.. eg: AIG, Samsung, Unicef.. ect

Have logos shown on flags and stdium because as a created team, all u get shown is a soccer ball.

The Computers need to be tougher, in that they dont foul enough... they just play nicely and the occasional slide tackle or tackle comes in, its weak and not fun when ur the only one being penalised.

Real Soccer Boots able to be purchased ( i know they're on ps3 but they arent on ps2 and that bugs me).
3-d Crowds.
Offside rule needs some fixing.
Better Create- A-Player Mode. (better hair and stronger faces instead of it being weak graphically).
More Cup Ties.
Manager mode needs a lower salary because you are always losing money ( i have one the sponsers with a 59% bonus and i am still losing money), after a game... either make them lower or make the sponsors higher.

1.addmore south american national teams like Colombia*, Peru*(enough players to make it by the number of players that play in Europe), Chile, Bolivia, and Venezuela.
2.Add the Argentine league.
3.Make shorts and socks optional to wear with which ever jersey. (people get confused with the kit structures.Ex. lyon vs Arsenal( i sometimes give it to the opposing team because of the color of bottom kit.)
4.Add teams in Rest of World like from south america that won the Copasudamericana and Recopa.
5.Make referees visible.
6.more in the Edit Team to create your own best team.

-I'd like to see Egypt in the international list, cause I can't understand why isn't it there,
well, Egypt won ACN (Africa Cup of Nations) two times in raw 06,08

More leagues. I love the fact that The FIFA franchise has so many leagues. This gives the public the opportunity to play with their favorite teams. If it were up to me, you need to put more South American Leagues and Asian leagues. If you can't put the entire league, include more teams in the Rest of the World. Me personally, I have 360 and i wouldnt mind if these leagues were available on the XBox Live MArketplace. Just get more leagues. This also include more international teams. I want to be able to do world cup qualifying with all the teams available.

you guys should have more soccer cleats and more soccer moves and better graphics for the ps2,and also it would be better if you could get interviewed after the game.you guys should let our created team get sponsors and coaches,bench players,referees visible,also,more celebrations and some other narrators in spanish.the last thing that would be the best thing ever would be to costumise your own cleats.i agree with most of the people here.well hope you guys get some of these ideas.thanks!

Ok The thing i want to see most of all in Fifa 09 is More Stadiums ( i.e Fenerbahces 5 star stadium and Ataturk Stadium) and realistic crowd chants, For Example i want to see holigans shooting flairs and and causing trouble, Fenerbahce has Crazy fans in real life but in the game they barely say anything in the game, same with galatasaray. The fans have to be LOUDER, They should also boo when opponents get posession of the ball. When you score the Crowd should go nuts, its quite boring in Fifa 08, not a lot of pleasure in it. Also they should show outside the stadium, show some info on it (capacity, year of build) They should also put the ref on the pitch because its not realistic. they should make it so theres little cut scenes of the coach yelling or clapping of ur team mates. Why did they take away national anthems in the begining of the game, not smart EA. O and the game is made in canada but theres no team Canada ?? I dont get it. They should include alot more leagues like Serbian, greek, etc. Overall I say The most important Issue is the atmosphere in fifa because if you dont have Fans the game is totally boring. remember Entertainment is # 1

for corners and throw-ins, everybody is already up. time should elapse before everybody is already in posistion. Also, i think that time shouldnt stop, except for replays, but otherwise should be continuous. other than that, i would say play some winning 11 and notice the differences between the two and make them more comparable realistically. Graphically Fifa is much better.

Before you lot consider anything, for god sake, make it so that when playing in an online ranked match when somebody quits, whatever time, the score at that point goes forward. On countless occasions i have been winning 3-0 only for my valiant display to be meaningless because the wussy opponent quits. This really needs to change.

2. In manager mode, make the manager visible and add post game cut scenes instead of just a newspaper interview (boring...)
3. Also more CUT SCENES especially after you win a championship.

Create a carrier mode where you make your own player and have practice, games, autograph sessions, and where other teams can buy you and have you tranfer to other countries, and also have the opportunity to go to the world cup with you country.

what most of these guys have said is correct, these points are based upon the xbox 360:
1. more and real boots to chose from in edit player, like more nike boots, give us 3 styles of nike boots like what ronaldo wears and the ones like rooney wears. and more pumas, adidas, reebok, umbro.
2. many more stadiums to chose, i cant beleive that real madrids isnt on the game, villa park, white hart lane, ibrox, hampden and more european stadiums aswell. i hate it when in manager mode or season mode if a the team you have chosen to play in the premiership if the team is not manu,liverpool,arsenal,chelsea or newcastle you have to play at the crap boring stadium for almost every match on the 360 anyway, each year in manager mode if you reach the champions league or uefa cup final change the stadium only to 50,000+ stadiums.
3. make the game you play randomly either be a day or night macth for season or manager mode, with random weather, like windy,snowy,rainy,cloudy,sunny. this is a must for the 360.
4. i was annoyed that u only get to play a season with be a pro on the ps2. if this is updated to all consoles it would be great.
5. in manager mode you should get offered a job with a national team, which if you agree you can either be a manager for a club aswell or leave your club at the end of the season. and while national team manager play friendlies against teams of your choice, with the standard tournements, also national team call ups.
6. make players transfer fees more uptodate, have good sponser deals, clubs should have a starting budget in manager mode which is capable of signing good and lots of players to challenge for success, like manu=£90m.chelsea=£120m.liverpool=£70m.villa=£45m.spurs=£55m.bayern=£70m.inter=£70m. real madrid=£110m. etc
7. referees and linesman should be present in a match.
8. the shooting is ok, but still a bit dodgey at times, players like gerrard, ballack, rooney who can hit the ball really hard most of the time in real life, in fifa 08 they dont most of the time.
9. i think all clubs third kits should be unlocked as it takes an age getting so many points to unlock them.

- Manager Mode - Transfers must be more realistic, A player should cost less if he is playing for a small team eg Kaka from Sau Paulo to Milan for 3m, They should cost less than they would if they were at a big club because they are unknown
- Realistic league positons, the top 4 should dominate, One time Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal all got relegated thats not realistic at all
- Be able to change your kits at the end of the season
- Scouting this is what I feel really needs to be improved in several ways 1. Realistic names for players Jerry O Neil (Turkey) is just ridiculous 2. You should be able to scout in any country you like and there should be future starts EVERYWHERE in Fifa 08 the only future stars ive found are Mfaki Omaboe (Cameroon) Kyle Bridge (Argentina) it should be just like real life where clubs fight over youngsters, and you should still have to bid for them just in case somebody else is trying to get him signed up 3. Make young scouted players look realistic because on fifa 08 half of them have grey hair whats up with that?
- Be A pro - It should be like a career where you can play 5-10 years as a player or created one, and you should be able to play for your country and transfer to another club!
