It should definetly have a 2-4 player offline training mode. I hate having to constantly change players and have the comp controlled players on you're side do nothing. Or they should at least have an option where you can make friendly npc team mates actually help you, like they do in the training mode.

Be-a-pro should be more like real life. Meaning you start in a Academy and work your way up the ranks. Instead of just playing 1 season in any team you want.

We can make our own stadiums for manager mode.
All the Prem, la liga, bundesliga etc...Stadiums there, not fake ones.
See the officials and the dug out in the game.
The managers and subs reactions when a dirty tackle or bad decision is made.
Show the teams and managers coming out for the game.
Make an official Champions League and Euro 2008 in manager mode.
Make training mode in manager mode.
Make new Academy players every season in manager mode.
Make FA Cup, Carling Cup, Uefa Cup and Intertoto Cup official in manager mode.
Players should change appearance after a few years.
Make all the players have real boots not the ea boots.
Have sponsors like AIG, Bwin, Samsung, etc. in manager mode, not like Alturo.
Be able to change the club kit if in real life it changes, have stuff like Nike, Adidas, Umbro, Puma, Diadora and etc…
Have the U-21s, U-20s etc and have friendlys for those matches.
Have tournaments like the World Cup, African cup of nations, U-21s world cup etc…
In be a pro, have autograph sessions and sign sponsors.
Have more answers for when reporters ask questions.
Have more realistic fans, players, transfers and celebrations.
You can dive when you are near the goal.
More realistic injuries and if really bad then they should get stretchered off the pitch.
Have more skill moves in game play.
Have more unique features like Ronaldos free kicks.
Have the commentary more exciting and flowing with the game.
Transfers should have exchanges for players plus cash with the deal.
Crowds wearing the football shirts and shouting the real chants.
More awards like best player of the season, young player of the season, golden boot, best assists, best defender, midfielder and attacker etc…
When creating a team, you should have proper sponsers and shirt designs.
Have all these suggestions for the PSP version as well.

I think that Fifa 09 should have improved commentry. Sometimes when the commentator speaks, it has no relativenes to what is happening on the pitch. It can be confusing and annoying.

Fifa 09 should have more features than fifa 08 in fifa 07 you could create your own team that should be in fifa 09 . also the graphics are really good but can you make the crowd look better please. another thing is that there is no different weather conditions like rainy or cloudy you should also add the MOST IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT IN SOCCER THE WORLD CUP that would be nice one thing that would really be nice is a feature similar to be a pro but not only playing one game and then its over to start a carrer with that player make him go to try outs to try and join a team higher standards for better teams and to work your way up and come from being a rookie to being a pro win championships with your team and later on if your good enough to go on your national team and try to win as many championships with them including the world cup it is similar to the feature superstar in madden 08 also if your going to put 6 adidas shoes please put bigger selections for nike shoes,lotto,etc... please also make players easier to
increase their stats also when creating players in fifa 08 it is very complicated takes very long and is
very boring please have more choices in langueges like spanish their commentary is
much more exciting than the english also could you please make free kicks easier to take and if your gonna make it complicated again please be more spesific in the owners manual on how to take them

1. When a player is dribbling with the ball the colored icon above their head should change. ie. without ball, a triangle; with ball, a star This way when it gets really crowded around the ball and you actually have it at your feet, you will know you do and don't accidently try to tackle and thus pass it away stupidly.

2. Players, should do more passes/crosses/shots with the outside of their (good)foot [or just both]

3. All the tricks in the game should definately stay, they are all great, but there should be a few more. ie the Aiden McGeady turn and nutmegging ball through defenders legs

4. A.I. needs more urgency. When your team is losing and their is only 10 minutes to go the whole team pushes forward hard; or when you pick up ball from half way line and dribble into the box, the entire midfield and attackers should be in and around the box, not standing still at the half way line watching you dribble.

5. Not entirely sure if this could ever work, but add some randomness to the tricks. Ie the 360 turn doesn't always look the same, or get pulled off well, unless you are very skilled player like C.Ronaldo (but ofcourse every now and then, he loses the ball in RL, since no one is perfect, just near perfect)

6. Keepers, not so dominant with hard/finess shots straight at, or across them that are in the air, but are a little better with balls sliding under their arms. Also when coming out for ball, should not be so locked onto the ball and not paying attention to attackers' runs

7. Instruction manual tells you how to do more things. ie. how to shoulder off defenders, what all the traits a player has mean

8. Training ground, with tasks/challenges that can be completed to help train you how to play the game better. (Could be on a Second disk/Dual-Layer/HD-DVD/Blu-Ray, since computer version has this while consoles don't, and I assume its because everything has to be read of disks, instead of installed like a computer can do)

9. Freekicks are pretty much perfect, if anything they might be slightly to easy. Perhaps mainly because so many players have such a high stat for FK and Curve.

10. Passes and Crosses (Especially Corners) are not lock on based. ie. If you play a long, hard pass to the opposite wing, but another teammate runs into it, they should pick it up, not act like a wall have have it bounce away stupidly. Or if you swing in a corner, 1 attacker and 1 defender should not get instantly locked onto ball and those are the only 2 that are going to get a part of their body to the ball while everyone else in the box can stands and watches, or just runs into 1 of those 2 and pushes them stupidly.

11. More effort to keep ball and stay on feet. ie. Rooney!, in RL when he is pushed around or falls down he very quickly pops back up, or uses his hands to maintain balance and stay up to keep the ball. ( Basically more urgency for players to keep hold of ball [probably players who have high Strenght, Balance and Determantion trait for example] )

12. When teammate is dribbling with ball, and another teammate gets near to that player he should not get magnetized to ball carrier, lock onto the ball and start running into the player with the ball. If anything their should be an invisible force field that stops teammates from getting real close to a teammate with the ball at their feet. Also if a teammate does run into teammate with the ball, the ball should not magically fly off in some random direction, that is horrible physics.

13. Referee Harshness options. Ie. call every foul to slight chance to call foul. But if anything it should be call everything.

Basically a good few problems with Fifa 08 revolve around the players locking onto the ball, be it loose or at another players feet and it not working well at all.

Well fifa 08 ps2 version was really well done
I really enjoy it
but with the ps3 version there were some things that are really bugging me
and its scary cause fifa is the soccer game I enjoy playing the most and I cant see myself playing any other soccer game.
so here are the reasons that bugged me:

- The camara angle is really annoying
I get the point of u guys making it look like ur actually watching on tv
but if lets say Giggs from manchester united got the ball on the far away wing
I cant really see wat Im doing, to fix it its really simple, just zoom the cam a lilltle when players far away have the ball :)
- number 2, the game speed, common fast paced games are more exciting
u dont see a slow match when Manchester and Liverpool play, or Barcelona against Real Mandril...I mean just give us back the option to set up the speed again :)
- number three, players sometimes feel robotic, or dont answer to wat u do at the time u do it, make the players be more fluid, easier to handle, or to dribble better.
- number 4: make the commentators more exciting
I luv the british guys who speak during games, but in fifa 08 for ps3
they seemed boring no catchy lines like "AS A UNIT AS A TEAM" lol
yes I use to say that a lot even when i wasnt playing the game.

they should make the crowds louder, and be able to create ur own stadium too, also indoor soccer and more tournaments like copa libertadores, uefa, and the WORLD CUP!!!

There are a couple of things that can be added on and/or be changed

1. I would like to see a mode that enables the player to make its own soccer player, but while playing it you can only play as that one created player, sort of like Superstar mode in Madden NFL, or Campus Legend in NCAA 08 that way your player wont seem as fake and unknown

2. It would be better if the pregame was more energetic and they had realistic chants, for example, in every team there is a star, like in Real Madrid there is Robinho, and Raul, and Ruud and i think that everytime one of those important players in a team scores a goal, the fans can have a nice chant for them

3. In manager mode when you scout and it asks you in what part, it should be more detailed, for example, it says "America's", then you would enter into the U.S. or maybe Central America, instead of pulling in Brazilians all the time and having your own Brazilian National team in a club, It would be nice to get players from Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, Chile, Japan, China, India, Egypt, Cameroon, and so on and so forth

4. It would be cool if they brought back the superstar modes
like in NBA Live 07 they have different superstar modes i think it would be cool if they had different skill levels and traits and u had certain moves that you can do for ex.
"Dribbler, Passer, Deadly Shot, Free Kick Wizard, Shutdown Defender, Insane GK"
some stuff like that

5. We should be able to choose who is the team captain of the team

6. When scouting, you should have a variety of people you can look at, not just whatever your scout brings you

7. At the end of the season there should be a list of players that are willing to sign for a pro team kind of like rookies

8. When there is a big rivalry have the players show more emotion, for example when United States and Mexico play or Real Madrid play, make the players, fans, and commentators feel it, and maybe have promos before the game starts

9. Controls for puttin spin on the ball were easier, and have a wider curve as the players skill goes higher

10. Have training camps to improve your players and add in additional points

11. Have more tournaments such as Copa America, the Gold Cup, African Cup, and so on, also have different ages like u-17 and u-23 and then the National Mens squad

12. When creating a player you have different faces to start from that way if you create more then one player they all dont look the same, also you should be able to not only change your face but arms, legs body as well, like in Madden, and NBA live

13. It would be nice to see awards at the end of the season, such as the "Golden Foot Award", or Best Defender, Young Player of the Year, Best Attacker, Best Young Attacker, Best Midfield, Best GK, Best Young GK etc.

14. We should be able to create a team and place them in a league whether if its 2nd, and then you can move up to 1st league
or just straight away to 1st leage

15. More National Squads From Central America, such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, also carribean, like Cuba, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago
and you had a choice to coach one of these teams and compete in tournaments and scout young players to strengthen your National Squad

16. I would like to see the Guatemalan league, the Argentinian league, and the US players ratings higher, we dont suck that much man

17. Have the choice to change uniforms and edit them or create your own, and choose REAL LIFE sponsors to put on the front of the jerseys like Jack in the Box, or Microsoft, or Sobe

The following are my suggestions for the improvement of gameplay in manager mode:

1) I think a nice improvement to see would be increased feedback from a team when making a bid to buy one of their players in manager mode. A negotiation feature would be the best in which you can propose swap plus cash deals as an alternative to an excessively large transfer fee.

2) Training should play an increased role in the maintenance of your team's skill. Players' attributes could be made to decline in the absence of regular training and players returning from injury should exhibit reduced abilities from lack of training. Also there should be less emphasis on the fatigue that training induces on your players.

3) It would make the game more realistic if players recieved one match bans for accumulation of yellow cards

4) More realistic sponsorship deals. Also player salaries should be awarded as is done in real life and not after every match.

5) The option to switch clubs mid-season if a job offer arises.

in fifa 09 they should have 1. even more challenging a.i. 2. way more stadiums at least 2.for weaker leagues over 10 for stronger leagues like spanish league english primer (please include celtic park please). 3. better crowds annimation better player models (more life like). 4. more south american leagues ( i.e .chile, argentina, paraguay) plus a tournament like libertadores for the american clubs. 5. have players on the bench. 6. show better celebration after tournament win show the trophy atleast.8. smarter goal keepers, make free kicks easier for goal keeper to defend 9. faster pace to games. 10. some sort of official international tournament and ability to coach national teams.

I think that it would be cool if you could also be an international manager. Not as in depth as manager mode, but you
could choose your national team and enter tournaments w/ them throughout the club season.

1) i would like to see internationals involved more!! maybe atera few seasons an international team offers you a job or something like that then you could go on and win the world cup or sumthing.

2) a be a pro season mode were you start off battling for a position on the team to battling to be the captain!

I wont say i have a lot of problems with the current version of fifa, however, i am disappointed with a few things...

1) EA needs to bring back the D-PAD. I am not particularly a fan of joystick and i have never used it for any fifa game and all of a sudden i have to learn how to use the joystick - that just turned off me and my friends and we dont even play the game all that much.

2) The speed of the game needs to improve say to like 2007 version but with the AI and everything else thesame because the gameplay is just really really slow and as a result not all that enjoyable. If a team like manchester united is playing in real life, its on a fast pace level compared to a wigan or chelsea.

3) The manager mode is too complicated and they need to bring back the type of simulation from 2007 where u can see when ur opponent scored n then u can go back to the game n finish it.

i would like to see the second division from mexiccan league so there could be more interesting for the hispanic people.

you should have the option of having scores go past the screen in the match if a rival team scores or concedes which should trigger a crowd reaction as well as teams like chelsea and arsenal always at the top of the league and weaker teams at the bottom

the crossing needs to be more like fifa 07 as well as you should be able to edit as many people as you want but not edit them as much as you want put a block on the edits at about 100 or somethinng

19) diving mode ingame when player got tackled down by opponent, so u can gain a freekick/penalty or get a yellow/red card (referee/computer should decide on the position)
20) more than 30 celebration styles after making a goal for a player, so it wont be the same all time
21) better atmosphere at derby matches
22) own kit design with real sponsor choosing options ( like philips, samsung...)
23) Have more emotion in the game commentry

On European XI you can add differant poeple on European XI squad.

this is what i think should be in fifa 09 :

1.) more options in creation mode (boot colours, shirt arm length etc.)
2.) visable officials
3.) a dive button
4.) be able to bring goalie up for corners
5.) be a ref (kinda like be a pro)
6.) if it is bad injury, have the players strecherd off
7.) more realistic celebrations
8.) have a player carrer (have to design own player)
9.) in manager mode, at end of season have option the change kits (different designs, different colours, new sponsors and new makes)

12.) over a few years, players should change appearance
13.) if a player is out for a long time in managet mode, when or if they come back, the should be rated a few points down

15.) in manager mode, someone could approach you to see if you want them to 'fix' a match

17.) if the ref makes a bad desicion, it should show all of the bench throwing their arms up in fury

i think a good idea would be to be able to edit the kits and shirt designs. for example being able to change vertical stripes to horizontal stripes, or being able to change the kit sponsors and team sponsors. this would make the game more interesting and more realistic. another good idea is to have a be a pro full season on the next gen consoles and also a training section in manager mode. another possability is to have all the football stadiums rather than just the big clubs. more animations and the option to push players after giving away a freekick. maybe to be able to start fights on the pitch. instead of just having 2 commentators have about 10 they can be diffrent voices and more chocie.

When u fake the shot make the defenders fall for it,unless the player is very aggresive.

when u hav a clear run at goal BUT then get taken down by a defender instead of the defender gettin either a yellow card or NO card at all they should be given a straight red!!!!!! n wat is up with the goal keepers at free kicks its crazy they ether stand ther n watch the ball go past them, try n save it by shovlin across n then divin wen the ball ist past them n they end up goin into the post or very rarely they save it! this game was such a dissapointment to wat evry1 thought it wud be
