Your Ideas for FIFA 09

Fix the freaking gameplay. After playing PES2008 I can say the gameplay and controls in FIFA SUCK! That is the most important.
next you can:
~Add more nations, stadiums (beach soccer or indoor would be a nice add), leagues (Polish League 2, Russian League...).
~Make getting points for the Fan store easier. I like buying the items but it's too hard to get points from the challenge mode (which no one plays).
~More camera angles
~have a way to choose to do volleys instead of headers, like holding a button, or pressing it multiple times for different kind of shot.
~A couple more balls, cleats, accessories ..etc
~Give points for each game played like in World Cup 2006 game (it also had good gameplay, compared to fifa08 anyway)
~Get rid of the delay in pressing a button and having the action take play.
~Fix the fact the computer can run around with the ball and you cant take without fouling. Speaking of fouling, the players fall down too much without being fouled by the computer.
~MORE SOUNDS, at least for the PC and PS3 versions. maybe more commentaries, add Tommy Smyth from ESPN.
~A manager mode for International teams instead of clubs.
~FASTER MENUes
~Season/Manager mode practices, training sessions, should go day-by-day
~Some national teams that won the Euro's or World Cups (Classic National Teams)

i think that there should be a virtual life mode where you can buy houses and cars and like invite oyur teamates round hosuses and stuff. so ur paycheck depends on how well u are doing and yourself

Like so many have said FIFA is good but lacks so much it isnt brilliant, Below are my ideas i hope would be passed on to EA for FIFA 09

1) Player likenesses fpr lower league teams are improved!
2) each player has a more individual skill ratings ( it really annoys me when every player on the man utd squad is faster and stronger than lower league players , premiership players maybe more skillfull but that doesnt mean they are faster or stronger every time!)
3) Lower league teams have real chants and songs!
4) Home and away crowds more defined and recognisable!
5) Better freekicks , similar system to 06 with visable ball swerve control!
6) Manual input for manager interviews in carear mode! (some times comments are very poor and unrealistic!)
7) More realistic heading control and shooting control! (far to often a header or shot goes wide or high from an easy clearcut chance!)
8) more realistic and longer goal and league/cup winning celebrations!
9) more realistic lower league grounds , (Sheffield wednesdays ground was closer to the real thing in fifa 06 than in fifa 08!)

PERSIAN REPORTER ON THE MATCH

i have looked at all the ideas and suggestions that people have and i believe that they are great additions and improvements towards Fifa 09 but one of my concerns is that nobody is mentioning anything about helping the created character department. Fifa 09 would be perfect if you had commentators say the characters name. Also if he is doing good and scoring alot of goals then there should be cut scenes on the character and the commentators should talk about him a little with facts including his past, number of goals he has scored in the season, and overall how important he is to the game. Another issue is the commentating, please improve that area because it gets old quick and they sound plain and boring, you should make the commentating exciting especially if we are about to score a goal. And the fans definetely need to get improved because the fans are the number one priority and they really dont get excited or they dont get loud often. You guys should install cutscenes of the fans holding flags and scarfs and chanting the teams names and pretty much have them excited for the game and if the team is losing show cutscenes of the fans leaving the stadium. Also i recently played a demo for the EURO 2008 and they have a feature to create your own celebrations after you score a goal. Fifa 09 should have something like that or give us the option to create our own celebration. well this is my last post on my ideas for Fifa 09 and hopefully many of these ideas are considered because if Fifa 09 does not improve from Fifa 08 then that would be a huge dissapointment because we are the fans and we want to see a great game get produced.

I have a few suggestions which I think would really make the game interesting….
1- everyone seems to be commenting on the fact that teams should hold the trophy when they win a tournament or league, and theyre right. getting to the end of a tournament and having nothing to show for it is a little disappointing.

2-my main suggestions are in manager mode. I played a recent copy of tiger woods and when you create your own player you get sponsored by certain companies such as nike as you progress through the game…this should be done in fifa…for example if in manager mode you take a team such as shrewsbury town through the leagues up to the premier league, bigger sponsors and kit makers should offer to sponsor that team. so for example they have a kit made for them by adidas, and are then sponsored by 32 red…the kit makers and sponsors are already on the game so i dont see why there would be a problem in them swapping around.
3- every second year in manager mode you should be able to change the style of your home kit…each kit maker can have a list of kit templates for you to choose from. also every year you can change your away kit and its colour.
4-when a team is promoted into the league above the logos on the sleeves should change…its quite unrealistic when you are playing a premier league match and you play against a team such as burnley because you can clearly see the championship logos on the side of their shirt.
5-customising stadiums is a great idea, because it is true that it gets a bit boring playing at the same stadiums over and over again…i understand it would be very difficult to feature every football ground on the game so stadium customisation would be great
6- i definately think in manager mode you should get job offers from other teams. also if you get sacked mid season the season shouldnt end there..you should be able to apply for available jobs. i also think you should be able to manage national teams on the manager mode

7-this is a completely new idea but i like it. i played nba jam on the mega drive the other day. when you play a friendly you play the lowest ranked team on the game, and when you beat them you move onto the next and so on…as you beat more and more your teams ranking goes higher (even if your team is rubbish)..this should obviously be optional as to whether you want to do this but i think its a great idea as it would be a massive challenge to get a team like carlisle united ranked as 1st on the game…maybe as you go up in the rankings you should be able to get certain points and exchange your worse players for much better ones as you go along..that one is just an idea but my other suggestions should definately happen

Defintely more leagues both club and international. I want to be able to do world cup qualifying from the very beginning. I love the European leagues but how about some leagues from other continets. Put the liga Argentina in ther and the Egyptian league. Me personally, I am of middle eastern descent and i would to see the iranian league or the Saudi league. Also include their respective champions league/copa libertadores. Also make the cup finals on a neutral field. I wouldnt mind if the uefa cup final was played in an american stadium, just have it on a neutral field.

id like that the career mode should be invidual.
you create player and start in some rubbish club.
then maybe some average team want you to join and you can make your career up to top leagues and teams.
and if you are very good maybe you able to join in national teams games(world cup)(european cup)and regular nations game.

and this mode you can choose to play with only your player or whole team.

and if your player get injured,you have to sim the games while you are in bench.

young plyers should play matches like if chelsea hve a young player he should be playing important matches. when you buy someone from your youth academy teams like real madrid or ac milan should go ofter him

• Crowd to wear team colours. Pro Evo does it and Fifa owns Pro so you can do it

• Be a Pro Mode where you start in the streets & are seen playing. You get a trial & you have to get a certain rating to sign for the club
• Championship stadiums. Not every club has a 50k+ stadium and the generic ones are rubbish
• Mascots
• Teams lineup at kickoff
• Ref & Linesman Always on screen

This should do for the moment

- Add lower leauge teams (Bath City, Havant & Waterlooville Ect)
- Be able to create stadiums
- Show the referre and officials
- Add more africian teams (The gambia, Egypt ect)
- Be able to create a team (PS3)
- Youth and reserve teams (manager mode)
- Edit shirts (like sponsers, colour, designs eg hoops, vertical lines, ect) (Manager Mode Only)
- Be A Pro Season
- Put legends like Pele, Zidane, Cryff, Maradona, Gorden Banks to Classic XI
- Be able to swap shirts after match
- Have Mascotts (also make them)
- Design your own boots
-Be a referee mode (same as be a pro but you be a referee)
- Bring Goalkeepers up late (hold triangle before corner)
- Be able to do training
- Bring back visual Sim to manager mode
- Be an International manager (manager mode)

and thats it!

Please be able to change the players hair styles in manager mode. Not all players in real life keep the same hair style throughout the whole season!

For fifa 09, i think they should one add the african cup of nations in there so that during midseason when a coach has african players on their team they should be let go to do their international duties. also they should ghana in the international mode, because,
ghana is better than nigeria, and is number one in africa. In be a pro you should be able play atleast a trial for a team and then if the teams like you then you should be selected, if you are doing good during the season you should be selected for international duties also, and it should be more than just one season. Please don't overate players, The fans need to be more realistic, chanting during games for their clubs, teams should be able adjust to their opponent after half-time.On nba 2k8 for the ps3 the nba fans were better in terms of how they were moving. also we should be able to see the refs during the game, better theme songs from the uefa champs league.better commentation before, during and after games. the system should be able to say every teams name and players name and what the stats of the teams and players are, during match previews. we should be able to see players warming up during matches and coachs should be able to be seen during matches. Better highlights before a game and player interviews, i know it can be done because i have espn nfl 2k5 were the game previews are very good, and halftime commentary are very good. and also the post game interviews.

A more powerfull edit mode:
- We should be able to create teams.
- We should be able to edit the kits of the licensed teams. That would be very fun for us users! Believe me. Even to update the kits. Many users are waiting for this.
- We should be able to edit the boots.
- We should be able to edit players nationality.
- We should have badges templates and sponsors to edit teams.
- We should have the option to untuck the players shirt like and low socks and tape as well. Many users are asking for this as well.

If you had this features on the edit mode of next FIFA, the game would be just PERFECT.

On become a pro it needs to be longer than just one year and you should have to try out to be on a team. like if you want to be on man u u should have to try out as if ur in practice mode and it has a manager morale and if u miss a shot or foul someone his morale goes down and if u get to zero before the 90 mins is up then u dont make the team and u can only try out for a team once per year. and u should have manager mode and become a pro for the wii and or gamecube. if u make it for wii have it to where we can use the classic controllers because i think it's dumb that u have to flick the controller up wards to shoot the ball

make internationals championships like the world cup or euro copa, more stadiums, more leages like the argentinian, pre season in every console and celebrations

- On scouting you should be able to watch a clip of who you are getting
- Have fights on the pitch
- If a 1/2 star team beats a 4 and a half/5 star team make the fans run on the pitch
- When you create a player you should be able to put his rating up as high as you want instead of having a certain amount of points that you need to use

get champoions league license! and have athem at the beginning of matches

I think they should get more leagues or add at least couple teams from Serbian League not saying because im from there but because always theres a Team (1) that goes to the Champions League and the UEFA Cup (Partizan Belgrade and Red Star Belgrade) If they could put that the fans can get wild after a goal and of course like everyone mentioned it the ref being there the whole time not only when he gives cards. Get keeper for Corner Kicks if you are down towards the end of the game. FIFA 08 Did not have Create a Team or Stadium. It would be better if they could create a Team and the Sponsors they could put the ones that they would like example ( AIG , Samsung , VW (Volkswagen) ect........).

I think they should be able to create your own skills , tackle like a legbreaker , team get more leagues on it espescially the scottish 1st 2nd and 3rd divisions the crowds should be more realistic like the chanting and to be able to run on the pitch and got to be able to see the referee not just when giving a yellow card or red card all the time and to bring up the keeper for corners and most important to see the fourth officials and the manager even to hear what the referee is saying to the players far better graphics on cristiano ronaldo’s hair style create own boots have a sponsor like skysports 1 or setanta sports get the graphics better on hibernian in the scottish premier league more international teams espescially on xbox 360 . More realistic stadiums like Easter Roaed Hibernian Fc's stadium. I will definately buy it if that happened and so would lots of other people but not to expensive.

-Put all the stadiums in because when half of the game has to be played in esto de la artes or whatever it is then its seem to get a bit boring

-let the refs make some wrong decisions and the lines men because if your offside you always get penilised on 08

-If you win a cup have them holding it not just jumping with nothing in thier hands

-if you win the leauge or cup or get relagated have pitch invasions

-make the fans look as good as the fans look a bit realistic and have them sat down unless they are celabratin because they are allways peices of faceless carboard jumping

-let the fans sing the right songs for the club

powerdrive shot in normal play so players can take ranged shots and have the ball stay low and hard rather than high and wide. Stats of long shots can determine how well they can keep the ball low and hard.

If somebody gets injured e.g. if a leg gets broken then you should be able to actually see it I know that's quite mature but if thats what happens then it should happen

- be able to fire staff in manager mode/ staff ask to leave if they are good but team isn't performing
- allow a player's form to effect there rating
- show player stats in other leagues when considering transfers
- be able to get really young players (eg 8 years old) and put them in a youth system, then see them
get older and go into the first team
- more realistic reasons for players to decline a transfer
