Your Ideas for FIFA 09

please, the argentinian league in the next FIFA. the 1 division, I am tired of seeing Boca and River in "Rest of the World"

Minor things as i reckon most stuff has been covered;

Sidelines - have linesmen running up and down the side, few more things on the sidelines like managers stood shouting, subs sat in the dug outs.. take a leaf from NBA 08, having it feel like your actually at a game adds to the experience.

Throughballs - maybe its just me but they used to be fun, now they seem to mess up more and more, specially lofted trhoughballs.. maybe a few tweaks here and there.

just a few thigns really

south african players showed look the same way they are and commentators should call there names.

we should see the manager of a team when a sub has been made.

the fans should be more clear, to see. and when substituting a player you should see the mananger

I have never liked the way free kicks have been done in the newest games i like it when you can control ballspin direction and power

In manager mode you should be able to trade one of your players for another in the transfer period, and there should be mud effects when a player gets falls i am sure that this was in fifa 06

add the lebanese national team as well as many other middle eastern team. also when a player is injured badly, maybe you could show them being taken off the pitch on a streatcher. also add the lebanese league

Make nets BULGE more, In FIFA 08 the net is like a cage thats just not right!

And i forgot to mention. The fans. In pro evo they all wave flags. If they can do it i'm sure you can. Could you also have some sort of colour co-ordination. The Man U fans generally don't wear blue. Perhaps they could move a bit more realistically than that weird synchronized clap and shuffle you've got going on? In 07 you got chants particular to each team, like French fans chanting "allez les bleus", that seems to have disappeared to a large extent.

I've played pro evo 8 and fifa 08 a lot and although I prefer fifa there are some things from pro evo which you should really look at. One is having a referee and linesmen, it just adds an extra touch of realism that makes playing more agreeable. Speaking of referees, they don't seemt o know the rules. I've had players taken down without the ball anywhere near and there hasn't even been a free kick, but then i concede a penalty for, it seems, moving near another player in the box. Secondly, and even more easily, include some international tournaments in tournament mode. I know you've got separate franchises for the world cup etc, but you could at least make it possible to create the world cup (neutral grounds, qualification tournament etc). Something which could do with serious improvement is the commentators. At times they seem to be watching a different game and they have very little insight in to the significance of certain actions. In fifa 07 they at least knew how many goals a player had scored in the season, for example. With regards to the manager mode, if you did include international tournaments it would be possible to make it so that you can be asked to be the manager of a national side, where you have to judge players on their club performance, organise international friendlies and vie with club managers for players for qualifications matches. Think any of those might appear?

include the romanian league "liga I burger" according to the uefa ratings it is now no.7 in the overall chart with one team directly in Champions league groups and a second team with qualifiers, It is over eredivisie wich is no.8 now. F.C. Steaua is a champions league throphy winner in 1986, yes a long time ago but the team is growing again it will soon be a team not to be wreckend with, the romanian national team is better than ever, overall romanians deserve their teams in this wonderfull game, it will be a shame and an unrealistic game not to include the Romanian league, and at the end your own disatvantage because you do not exploit at all this area of the market , one out of two romanians has a pc, one out of two is a football fan, a nation of 25 milion people... you do the math and see if it's worth it?

I hope the fifa 09 comes to ps2. if it doesnt come i buy pes 2009.

And also customised chants. (Choose from a list eg. Change play up Pompey to Play up chelsea if your playing as chelsea.)

A menu option titled 'Update' that when you click on it asks you to connect to the internet and it could some how change Transfers.
Also, a way of giving your own player a name for the commentators ?

i think you should more african international teams and add more well known players in the classic eleven

1- In the "Play Now" option, propose the next forcasted match (or the last match) of your favorite team
2 - Propose at least all teams qualified for the current European Champion's League

To make fifa the best game ever.
-Be able to crate team.
-Edit the way players look on the game eg: Ronaldo or Rooney....just like pro evo does.
-On manger mode create the way the manager looks and you see him on the touchline giving instructions.
-Have a pre-season tour of a country.
-See the players on the the bench.
-Edit the licensed kits like manutd.
-Change sponsor of the of the licensed teams eg: Nike,AIG
or adidas
-Manager gets interviewd after game.
-And last have the proper goalkeepers kits for all the teams PLEASE!!!!!
If you do all that it will defo be better than pro evo :D

I really enjoyed playing 08 but some things could be better. Online leagues for all leagues covered in the game, my team being in the championship it felt like online leagues were a no-go. Online rank system is hard work to even get a rank, i'd rather know I was a millionth in the league than have a rank of 0. Online play still a bit slow sometimes and be good to know how you are matched up in the ranked matches. Being able to play in your proper stadium and hear real chants as in previous versions of the game would be great. Be nice to see best goals played whilst waiting for loading games. Being able to play online friendlies with your mananger mode team would be great - I have Ronaldinho in my wednesday team and can't show him off!
That's all I have for now.

Loved FIFA08, it’s a great game, but the more you play, the more you start to realise what things you want in the next game. Of course, Be A Pro was something I had wished for since Road to World Cup '98, so this was the most anticipated FIFA for in a long while. But I’m sure you’ve received such praise for this game, so I guess I can skip that part.

Some things could have been better, and what I'd like to see for the next game is mainly that the atmosphere is greater. I want to feel like I'm on the field, so just like others have pointed out, more emotions from the crowd (got goose skin from hearing YNWA on Anfield just before, so you're on the right track! Be A Pro really is a huge step towards this). I want to be awed when my alter ego walks into Camp Nou or Old Trafford.

Another thing on the subject of details is that I’m bothered by the fact that you can’t see the ref or his linesmen, or the subs on the bench either. It would be cool watching the opposing manager shout at his players, and then tunnelling on of them right before his eyes.

What I'd like to request more is less interruptions to the game. There have been countless times when I have been tackled in a two-on-two situation. And instead of taking a quick free kick, all of the opposing team can reassemble and mark my players. And the same goes for throw-ins, having an option of sometimes taking a quick one would be awesome. And I don't want the screen to go black and then players showing up in the same positions over and over, rather I'd like to see the closest player running to fetch the ball (or being thrown one - another atmosphere thing), and then taking it.

Also, as I’m playing on 360, I have no experience of the Coop Season, and have settled for the Offline Training mode. But for 09, I hope you will be making all the different versions contain basically the same stuff (I for one, got 360 just so I could play FIFA08).

Speaking of Be a Pro, there are a few things that bug, which isn’t without reason, as this is the first version. One of tem is that your team always seems to be on defense. I played as Barca against Sevilla’s B-team, and yet my players kept losing the ball in a way that made them look like youth players. I played as a forward, and had very little defensive responsibility, so it wasn’t my performance that did it. I was playing on Pro difficulty, but as far as I figured, that ought to improve the AI of both teams, no?

On the music front, an idea could be to perhaps let people import their own music, and mix in with the soundtrack available? I know this was possible in FIFA Manager 2004, so perhaps it’s already possible for the PC, but since you can get music into your Xbox, why not into the game? Of course, this has nothing to do with game play, but it’s another thing that might get an edge over opponents. Although this was in my opinion the best soundtrack in a while, I know people who aren’t entirely happy with it.

Something else that would be awesome would be to add more stadiums. I’m tired of Estadio de las Artes, I want to play on Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and City of Manchester Stadium. And where did Santiago Bernabéu go? On another note, one thing I’ve been looking forward too/missing since FIFA 98 is the indoor stadium, that would be an awesome addition!

About stadiums too, there’s another thing I’d like to see as well: weather. More weather options, like rain, and perhaps a bit of sleet/snow? That would be great too, with the ball slowing down on a wet pitch, and you’d have to adapt to it.

Then there’s the subject of the players. And first of all, none but Rooney have the right body! I mean, they’re half as wide as they’re tall, and that’s just not right, just look at Messi. A wider array of body types wouldn’t hurt, I mean no two players are alike. Plus, the more technically skilled should have a better first touch. I mean, Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t have to stop the ball, and turn, and then get the ball ahead of him, and after that start moving, only to loose the ball to a League One defender. Better first touch, and for a receiver to actually be able to meet the ball. A few times they do, but most of the time they just freeze, and a defender can get in front of him and steal the ball.

And on the topic of players, one thing that bothers me is how an opponent gets into a good position for ashot, and a defender throws himself in the way (with a sliding challenge), and the shot misses. And then, the shooter moves towards the defender and trips on him, and gains a penalty/freekick from falling over. Just ridiculous, although I’d say this reflects the Premier League well. Still it’s annoying, but trying to remove this, and add a command for filming, perhaps to get a second yellow card on a player or something along those lines. (Now that I think about it, you’ll have to add a few buttons on the 09 game, haha). Although it is really against the rules of the sport, though, so maybe not.

And just a small note, it feels weird playing the 2014/15 season in manager mode, having replaced most of your own team and Man Utd still playing van der Sar and the rest. The other managers in the game barely do anything at all, which is sad. More transfers next season!

Still though, FIFA 08 is a great game, which I’ll be playing until 09 comes out this fall. I’ve read that Euro 2008 will contain some of the above mentioned idea, which is great (dynamic celebrations, couldn’t get better!).

Number one: You should add some of the moves from Fifa Street into fifa 09. It would make it a lot cooler.
Two: make players from the a-leagues faces more life like. They look nothing like the real people in 08!

For Fifa 09 when you are in manager mode you be able to write messagers to your players somthing like a feed back form telling then how they have done, Plus when it gets to half time you should do the same.
After the game the comentaters should tell you the attendence for the game.
On fifa 09 there should be a world cup mode that each word cup last 2 monthes in real tme e.g you mite need two or three games a day to do this.
allso it think when a player get injurded the the parapadites should come on to see to the player and if the injury is two bad the they should take him off and you see this.
And when you win the fa cup you should be able to go into ufa.
If you are about to go in the fa cup for somthing should beable to pick team or kepper.eg if you pick kepper you will and should not be able to chance this.
and when the fans sing make them sing the right songs for the club, you should be able to hear them over the comentaters.
let the ref and lines men make some wrong disisions and let the be a replay of this to see if it was wrong or not.
You should be able to dive and make the ref pick up on these or not and a situation like the the manger would come out and try and argue.
have proper weather e.g on fifa 08 it mite rain at a start of a game it will still be raining at the end have the weather change thought the game.
And in manager mode in fifa 08 you can sort of change the ticket price but only low medium high have the price and you should be able to have to set the price of a seaon ticket a half season ticket.
sowing of subittustion e.g shaking of the hand and when subition has be called you should show the board e.g 13 in red and 24 in green.
e.g in real life when a team is in the fa cup sometimes you should be choosen to get shown on t.vand you get money for this and you get money for going though the rounds.
have lauges from all over the world e.g brazil, england, place in euroupe e.g france,spain.ex

you should put pele and maradona on the the buy store of the game you know the one were you buy old players shirts , balls etc also y think you sould add more south american teams and also it would be cool if when you buy jounge players you could see you scout watching a game and select the players you like when they train

for subs the fourth official should put the sub on his electronic board

arena mode is great although u shood be able to call another player on and practice set plays like corners

u should be able to create teams and for gods sake put cristiano ronaldo in the world XI

What about the Treble-winning powerhouse of Machester United from 1999? And of course, you'd have to put in the exciting team that Liverpool had in the early to mid 90's. They should also have their kits from those years.
Okay, this might take a few years to do, but believe me - iv you had this in the game, you would have a lot more people buying it. C'mon! Throw your authentic licensing weight around a little!

Also, I think that A few more countries should get one of their star players on their own cover. Please don't put Ronaldinho & Rooney On together again!
There should be some new players - Kaka, the FIFA Footballer of the Year has to be on there, surely! And England's cover star with him should be someone new - Steven Gerrard.
And Australia should get their own player on the cover as the 2nd player along Kaka - which would have to be Harry Kewell!

A real deal Manager Mode - If you're going to call it that, then make it that. Give the player control over the club's depertments - Senior team, Reserve team, youth Squad. And real players from those youth squads as well.

And finally, some overalls need to change - The past FIFA Footballer of the Year should always be the best player by overall in the game - i.e. Kaka should be about 90-92. In addition, and I am not speaking as an Australian, but as a football fan - the Australian players are underestimaten in real life, and according to their overall:
HARRY KEWELL IS BY FAR AUSTRALIA'S BEST FOOTBALLER EVER, SO WHY IS HE ONLY THE 4th OR 5th BEST IN THE GAME ON BASED ON OVERALL? HE SHOULD BE AROUND THE 82-85 MARK ATE LEAST, & Mark Viduka & Tim Cahill shouldn't be far off. Also, Marck SChwarzer, believe it or not, is one of the best goalkeppers in the EPL. SO he should be about 80 in my opinion, as well as Lucas Neill - c'mon! Didn't you see him play at the 2006 FIFA World CUP?

Anyway, these features will make this game even greater!

PLEASE!!!! Let you edit players. It gets boring when you can'tedit freely

- For the lower ranked teams the players stamina is really low.
It would be more appropriate if they were as fit and fast as the higher teams but with less ball skills

I'v seen this in other games especially some of the recent Tony Hawk games, so i'm not sure if you guys would be able to do it to but whatever. I think you should have it so that there is like some type of cord you could hook up or through the internet to a camera and you could upload your face to the game because i can guaruntee there are a heck of a lot of kids and people in general out there who would love to see there face in a video game. Especially with the new next gen systems, it would look so realistic as if you went to EA in canada yourself!

I think South American teams must be included in Fifa 09

Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, etc.. because there are a lot of Sotuh American Player that play Fifa.

i think that you should be able to be international managers and if your not your players go off to the world cup and cant play for their club also crowds should be more realistic and also the stadiums, refferees should actually be seen and creating your own skills would be wicked! and buy your own boots etc and if you have internet acsess if a new pair of boots come out you can put them on the game and chose them if you want them. fiiinally.. if you can change like the shirt length like untucked o tucked in, short sleeves or long sleeves or medium like cristiano ronaldo has.

it shud defently have the weather effects like euro 2008. and commentry. Why don't they do exstention packs like sims. wiv more things to add i.e stadiums and strips. also be able to play c european games in the domestic leagues.

Fifa 09 should work on the refereeing as i think that it is really poor with stoppages every two seconds for fouls which are unbelievable and not realistic.

Think the shooting system needs to be changed a little bit with curl being a major factor.
Need more tricks on the trick stick
Need more manual passing and through balls like on Euro2008*

But generally the game is top and im sure you know what to improve.

In be a pro you should be able to play for a team and then if the teams like you then you should be selected, if you are doing good during the season you should be selected for international duties also, and it should be more than just one season. in manager mode, you should start with a lower skilled team, then depending on your preformance as a coach, bigger teams should invite you to be their coaches, its kind of boring be able to start with barcelola or manchester united in the first season as a manager, it simply doesnt offer a challenge.

I propose TPM (total player management) it is like gta in a way as you rome the streets buying cars/ houses and travelling to games where you contorl one player like co-op season but you are enabled to choose events like parties and such like. Fifa GTA in other words
