international friendlies, start as a lower prestige team in manager mode and have to work to be able to manage top class teams, edit jerseys, create a team

you should be able to edit a player and upgrade your squads even after you allready started manager mode. also more points should be available for create a player, it would be nice if you could start him off being in the eightys and it would be good if you could choose his prospect level for example and elite world player or early bloomer or a late bloomer

Hi Guys,

1. There needs to be weather conditions and in those special weather condtions players should get tired quickly in the extreme heat, or slip in the wet, where gloves and long shirts in the snow & the weather could also cause injury ie rain slippery, need to make the game more realistic.

2. injuries need to be more realistic as well, like if a player injured and canot not continue mabe he could get stretcherd off, or if the play is stoped he should go to the sidlines tto get treatment then when their is stoppage come back on.

3. commentators should change for the different leagues and competitions.

4. when a goal has been scored celebrations should change and defenders are always there first in the huddle. After a goal is scored and you are waya you should be able to get the crowd angry with your celebrations.

5. be a pro mode should be like a season where ou can make your own player and get scouted by a team and work your way up. there sould be active training which can be simulated. Training should be fun as well like a shooting, skills,free kicks, set plays, passing etc training. it should always change mabe even have a match between squads.

Players should get interviewed as well as the manager mabe make it a live conference like a sm where you can see everything

in a be a pro mode season you should also be able to buy a house cars etc have a girlfriend get married. like living a real life.

6. manager mode should allow you if good enough to particcipate in internationals as well. for the euro world cup the qualifiers ect. you as the manager should be able to pick the team as per form of the players in their league.

7. referees and linsman shoud get more involved.

8. players when coming on for a sub should get 5 game ninutes to warm up on the side line befor they come on.

9. you should be able to change the jersey lay outs or even design your own jersey with the sponsors that you have through out seasons.

10. stadium uupgrades shoud be shown like in fifa manager 08. you can create a stadium or brng forth ideas to the borad who will then decide if it is needed or not.

11. players should get more upset if there is a harsh foul like in real life and start arguing ect and all players should have a mood in the game. Happy sad, Angry, ect

12. virtual sim and intervention hould be put in the game. lie most other ea sport games.

13. should be able to bring the keeper foward when taking freekick or corners if need be mabe a push of the button when player is standing over the ball.

14. Transfers should be more realistic as well

16. The trick system very good in 08 so should stay the same mabe add a few more

17. All teams no matter how bad or good should have stadiums. which can be upgraded witht the success of the team. For instance in 08 if you play with a s*** team and get them in to the premier league and do your stadium upgrade the stadium still looks the same. This needs to be changed if you upgrade the stafium it should look different. All stadiums should also have names

18. individual players in be a pro mode should get there own sponsors so mabe change boots under skins ect players made do adds stuff for charity ect. Make our gaming experience like real life.

19. last point i would like to see fifa 09 turn into as much of a manger mode as a gaming mode. make it more like real life.

You also have to make the overall of a player more realistic I mean for the Mexican league Chivas De Gualadajara has all the best players when I Know other teams like Atlanta,Cruz Azul or Santos Laguna has some good players too. Also put more realistic shoes in their like the F-50s or some 90's or something. You should also have the ability to be invited to different cups like the North American Cup the Superliga where Mexican and American Teams Compete. Or the Copa Libertadores or have the Champions League in their for the UEFA league and CONCAFA league. Also if you become a good enough coach you should be able too get invited to other teams for example if I'm coaching Manchester City and if Im doing a great job i should be getting invites to coach another team like Spain Giant Barcelona or Athletico De Madrid,also we should be able to get invitied to coah national teams only when they have games. I also would like better looking stadiums with better graphics.

*Creating Clubs*
When you create a club you should be able to put the crest on the kit and the sponser that you've chosen should be on the stip too.
also you should be able to change the strip after each season.
when you are creating the strip for your club i reckon that you could make a third strip and you have to unlock it like the rest of the thirds strips.
when you create a club you have to chose a stadium like old trafford or nou camp. you should have to make your own stadium like you can in madden 06.
when your playing with a created club it doesn't show the teams crest it just shows a picture of a football, that should be changed.

ITS NO MYSTERY THAT A LOT OF FANS IN THE UNITED STATES THAT LIKE SOCCER ARE LATINO RELATED. SO I WAS THINKING THAT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO MORE TEAMS FROM LATIN AMERICA (LIKE EL SALVADOR,GUATEMALA,COLUMBIA,CUBA AND OTHERS) ALSO I THINK ITS A GOOD IDEA TO PUT MEXICO'S Primera División A, THERES A LOT OF GOOD TEAMS IN THAT DIVISION.

1. Better stadiums. More real ones and better generics.
2. More leagues like Argentine Primera and Argentine B division, Romanian League, J-League, Russian Premier, Croatian League, Ukrainian League etc.
3. Lots of national teams! Then nobody will complain about their country not being there.
4. Reebok boots.
5. Career Mode.

Fifa 09 should have lots more modifications to make it better e.g.

-in PES 2008 if the ball has lots of back spin the ball direction should be affected by this when it bounces aswell as in the air.
-Less tallented players should miss-judge balls on the bounce and headers.
-The crowd need lots more work on they should be some hooigains in some parts of the crowd throwing objest onto the pitch like toilet paper.
-In manager mode you should be able to give young players trials.
-Have a mode were you can create a player and then play for a non-league club and work your way up to the top leauge and beable to compete for an international postion abit like 'captian your countrie' on Euro 2008.
-on create-a-player be able to choose the way the player takes his free kick e.g. Driven
-be able to choose the attitude of players e.g. calm, aggresive
-have more traits to choose from e.g. flair, speed dribbler
-have refferees and linesmen on the shown at all time like on PES 2008
-make the Ball curve and dip more in open play and players should be able to keep their balnce better when shooting and long passing from a angle
-The game should be affected by the the weather like if it is raining it's harder for the keepers and if it is windy, long shots and passes can slow down catch the keeper wrong footed.
- teams abilty can improve due to the situation of the game e.g. Havant and Waterloovile Did well in the F.A Cup because they had nothing to loose and were full of confidence or the opposite can happen, teams can become to confident and not play to thier full potential.

I think that there should be
1. Better Stadiums and more stadiums
2. the FA cup final to be played at wembley not at my home stadium
3. be able to pick what stadium home games are played in
4. create a team
5. more edit features
6. sort out the commentary its awful more depth and more acuracy
7. more realistic when stats on quick sm i had west brom vs chelsea westbrom had 25 shots chelsea had 2 and west brom won 1-0
8. better keepers i hate it when ive had 14 shots in a match and some how not scroed and then the other team has one shot and scores
9. the free kicks power is to hard i had it on just under half way and he smacked it into row z then the next time he hit the wall when the power was exactly the same
10. countrys in manager mode i had england vs france and had 3 nation players for both teams but only the english players went to play

and finally CONFERENCE TEAMS (EG LEWES) and russian league i want daniel carvalho and vagner love

the officials should be more interactive. for example they get every decision right, it might be nice if they missed an offside or missed a foul. it would be nice if you could actually see them in gameplay. you should get penolised for handballs aswel.

in manager mode maybe we could have hire and fire staff, build stadiums and generaly manage the club more rather than basicly picking the team.

i was quite dissapointed with fifa 08. i expected more. its ok to introduce new things, as long as you keep the good stuff from previous fifa's like freekick taking options.

its quite frustrating when your running with someone with pace against some 40 year old donkey who supposedly has no pace and you cant pull away.

defiitely put in the irish league.
also all premier league team stadiums

i reckon the, blue square conference should be included as i do like newly promoted kettering.

the manager mode should be more realistic, (i.e. messi would not move to spurs and ronaldo would not move to barca & walcott wouldnt go to league 2 club)

i just got the Euro 2008 game for PS3 and i must say it's a great improvement on FIFA 08, passing is much better, you find it more easier making that killer through ball, it's harder to score which does make it more realistic, it does look as if they have updated player faces, new boots have been introduced such as the new red Vapors, you can FINALLY chose your celebration (which i dont think will be a feature in FIFA 09)

i feel if all of these features are intoduced to FIFA 09 which i'm sure they will along with others it will be another hit and much better than PES AGAIN!

however there is certainley improvements to be made, i feel the biggest issue which im sure others will agree is stadiums, THEY MUST ADD MORE! you find your self playing at that same old custom stadium all the time that nearly every club needs to have, it definutley needs to be changed for FIFA 09, although there is some great and neat stadiums that do look very realstic more stadiums must be added, if not real stadiums just more realistic custom one's for each country

i also feel every FIFA every1 is waiting for that amazing Manager Mode that is really addictive and in extreame detail, such as introducing Sky Sports News ect, it would be brilliant if u could have more time before a match on your menu bar so you can train your team so you can actually see how players play in training, give press confreses etc, and then you can press Foward To Match Week or something like that. Also more indepth transfer marker when you sign a player, esspecially if it's a good 1 say over 85 or something. Make it a big deal! anounce it more on press confreses or be the player in a press confrence, not just some little rubbish newspaper that you can only read the title and a few lines of quotes. Also in manager mode PLEASE introduce proper Champions League, spend more time on that comptition, make it more of a occasion for the club ect. And PLEASE play your champions league games at NIGHT! not in the sunny day light. ( For PS3 & XBOX360). Just spending more time on manager mode would be great.

i think it would be really real leagues online, and say the matches are every sunday at 8pm or something like that, you select the league your in and the club. If u miss the game at the specific time you lose. I think it would be ace, they you'd definutley be able to see who's the kings online.

To be honust, what more can be improved? the graphics are class, the gameplay's great but there are still things to be improved and remeber this is only Fifa's 2nd year on next yen consols. And visually i think it's amazing, it does feel like your playing at that specific ground (Old trafford ect), and the players movements ect are slowley getting more and more like in real life. So, im sure FIFA 09 will be fantastic

i think on the arena you should be able to put in like fake walls for free-kicks and also be able to create your own arena

basically, all i want is them to add new stuff but also look back at all there other old games and see if they deleted anything from modern games that should be there in the first place. im sure that could make a huge difference becasue fifa 08 is pretty good anyway for ps3/xbox360 and ps2

maybe u could steal stuff from pes 2008 like diving and creating your own face as a player.
Also they should have weather that effects the gameplay and make players and the way they act more lifelike (or just graphics). if they make a ps2 version, which i doubt they do, they should include more tricks

have the ref on the pitch for once.....i mean be realistic here. he used to be there in games like fifa 98 - road to world cup

have a champions leagu
when creating players you should be able to change the coulour of boots eg;if u buy mercurial vapours in red when you were them you should be able to change them to blue or orange or red
when creating player if you were tape it is only 1 rap of tape round your player you should be able to choose how many wraps round you do(like ronaldo and torres;bandeges)
if u have ps2 (i dont but my m8 does)you should be able to see tape when your running not just on replays same on ps3

Career mode - You create a player, select league i.e. premiership, select team and play a "try-out" game or scenario if completed get selected for the team. Then the better you play the better the team that wants you. Think you get the idea :) Career mode should be in "be a pro" style.

Please change the shooting method. Please get rid of this "if you kick it hard it goes high" method

We have too many players in top tier leagues to be ignored - English Premier League, Championships and lower leagues, Dutch Er., Scottish Premier League, MLS to name a few. Some teams don't even have HALF that, but they get to be on FIFA YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT....sad...really sad...

You should be able to chose shirt, shorts and socks individually instead of all at once:
e.g. Home shirt, away shorts and home socks

1. add ROMANIAN LEAGUE for god sakes!!!! it's no 7 overall, or at least the top teams
2. add a more complex dialog for the commentators, new voices plsplspls we're sick of that same voice
3. add in manager mode youth and reserve team.should have small random tasks like in be a pro, maybe a storyline a, it might sound corky but it would be more captivating and thrilling

MAKE THE GAME MORE REWARDING, be a pro is nice, but it has to be for atleast 10 seasons so the player can actually grow,HAVE A STORYLINE,he should try out for the team, maybe learn a new position, change club, get injured and lose stats maybe, get cards -low morale, goal high morale, get subbed if he doesn't play his best etc...

When you are on Xbox live on fifa 09 you should put a click here thing on menu to update all the players on the game rateing and also players that move to different clubs

I think you should be able to clatter the keeper when he has the ball. Let there be fights too. So if there is a late tackle you get up and knock him out.

Goalkeepers need to feature more in the game, as they are almost completely overlooked. Official shirts for outfield players are abundant, but only a handful of authentic goalkeeper kits are available (amazingly big teams such as Ajax and PSV and Argentina don't have official keeper kits). This surely wouldn't be too difficult to correct, even if it meant removing some of the unlockable 3rd kits? A variety of goalkeeper gloves should be available too, instead of the horrible and unrealistic 'black mittens' that are on offer in FIFA 08. Someone else suggested keepers coming up for corners in the dying minutes which would be a novel feature, and what about set pieces? Keepers such as Rogerio Ceni at Sao Paulo are vitally important to the team's set pieces, and you should be able to select a goalkeeper for free kicks or penalties under any situation. They could also feature as selectable players on Be A Pro mode (although how this could work, I don't quite know)
EA need to recognise the Goalkeeper as one of the 11 and not just the forgotten footballer between the sticks...

Create a stadium mode!!! or all stadiums.. you decide

Would love to see maybe deliberate fouls or maybe a button that when a tackle is conceded you can make it look worse than it is. Also maybe when ref talks to you you can argue you case but can book if argued to much. Also maybe conference leagues.

Argentinia League... and also some other teams from South America.. like Barcelona (ecuador) Cerro Porteno (Paraguay) Colocolo (Chile) etc.

I really enjoy playing all of the EA FIFA football games and would like to ask for 10 improvements/differences in the later games:
1) Choose or watch your team warm up before each game.
2) See the stadium improve as you upgrade stadium manager e.g. better grass quality, stadium size etc.
3) Referee and lines men actually seen on game play.
4) Goal of the month after each month.
5) A visual sim so you can actually see the players playing from a manager’s perspective.
6) On calendar book days for training to improve player growth.
7) Be able to create a team and a logo on xbox 360, PS3 and WII.
8) Watch crowd change e.g. If there is a fight or a foul.
9) You as a manager can be chosen to represent you country in the world cup and control them through the stages.
10) Players can dive and argue with referee

I think the euro 2008 is the pefect game in terms of playability...I must be honest, this is the 1st EA football game I have ever liked....Please EA keep pinching bits from Konami and you'll have another loyal gamer on your hands!
