Your Ideas for FIFA 08

What is there to say that hasn't already been said or what is there to say that will convince the Fifa 08 developers to change they're mind about really simple changes in the game, since probably the game is in near final touches. The way i see it is the FIFA series has progressed through the years to be the closest football game sim to real life, but not just yet... I mean i haven't played Fifa 08 to really juge, in fact no one has but they're still writting about what they want to see in a football game and that could only mean one thing, is that they beleive the Developers can produce and develope the game they will come to love. So in conclusion to this, what fans of FIFA want to see in the up coming game is what they see in a live football match and make them set on the egde of their seats and i know for a fact that the next generation of gaming can provide such excitement for the LOVE of the SPORT. FIFA 08 can it live to te HYPE, we shall see soon enought. Thank you!

well i would like to ask u guys to please add the argentina league to the fifa 08 since there is cups like libertadores or sudamericana and a bunch more of important stuff fro latin america i think u all should add some more latino flavor to the fifa08 ...cuz theres already too kmuch europian futbol...

In the handbook include all the players Tricks for example: Cristiano Ronaldo's Ronaldinho's, Messi's, etc.

For fifa 08 you should include Copa america Venezuela 2007 and all the leagues of Bolivia. Also the team of Bolivia in the International teams.

hey ive been playing fifa games my whole life and i want to see a thing were u can creat ur own player and u get contract offers at the start of the season then u can change teams u get injuired and u play 4 ur country and get captain these are some other things needed

3. manager mode u get to coach national squad
4. see managers through game
5.bigger goal kicks to other 18 yard
6. create a stadium
7. more boots in creat mode
8. good songs like from top 30 or 40
9. free kics like 06 so much better
10. no more ranaldihno is like 92 or watever his not that good this year bop him down to 89
11. make ur own formation tunit you way

I also agree that the refs should be shown on the field and the sponsors of teams should be on the jerseys. Also show the players and coaches on the bench. Having unlockable real life fan clips to play after goals are scored would be cool too.

I think the FIFA 08 should have more languages for the commentary. It's fun to hear different languages and I've already learned how to say a few things in Spanish from FIFA 07. I would also like to see more customization with the create team and create player options (better choices for jerseys and more colors for them; better detailed hair styles and easier to custom faces). Having a world cup game mode would be awesome too.

It would be nice to see more leagues included. The Russian and Argentine leagues especially. Others could be Australian and J-League. In Manager Mode, I liked when you couldn't start out as one of the best clubs but instead worked your way up the leagues. The idea of having a player career mode is also good.

Hey, here is some important things to add:

Dynamic weather (weather can change under matches)

Animation (more fluid animation when scoring goals to the celebration scene. This is important.)

Career mode: Able to have a short press conference when you have bought a star player. ( Doesnt need to be all that fancy, but it would be a nice touch.

Smarter AI: Fifa 07 on x360 wasnt that good. The Ai was pretty dumb at times.

Bring in more leagues: Finland, Russia, Iceland, these are countries that sells a lot of fifa copies. They deserve to have their league there.

it would be cool that u can actually see the coach giving orders to the players, and also the players faces should be updated, and also you can add some fascial expressions for the players when they miss a shot or scores a goal etc... the ref. should become visible, and the tricks should be easier to make, real training mode and manager mode, and you can make press conferences when making a contract or winning the league etc.... if all that had done FIFA would be way better than PES

I want more photo realistic crowds that dont look identical and are all in different clothes each doing different things such as fans sitting and reacting individually waving pointing swearing waving scarfs or flags trying to header balls that fly into crowds eating and drinking. Also I want to see people selling programs, camera men moving camras, ect. I dont want to see crowds constantly doing the same thing at the same time and constantly standing and sitting.

I also want to see a refferee all the time on the pitch during gameplay no more virtual reffere that only appears during cut scenes.

I also want to see lines men and match officals working with the referre during gameplay such as flagging for offsides holding up the board for players to be substituted, no more virtual lines men and substitutions that only appear in cut scenes.

I want the Manchester Citys Stadium added.

I also want the the online squad updates to also update the offline sqauds so in ofline games have up to date teams.

More realistic grass that gets muddy if someone gets tackled.

I want to be able to preform more fouls at the toch of a button such as pushing, kicking legs, stamping, tripping, punching, shirt and hair pulls and intimidating and the ability to wind players up so they attack you and try to get them sent off.

The reffere only sees tfouls if he is facing them or if his lines men notice it and tell him.

I want to be able to perform dives anywere on the pitch to try and get penaultys and free kicks and players sent off.

I also want to see team managers that look like they do in real at the side of the pitch such as Sven Goran Eriksson watching the game and standing and Alex Ferguson chewing gum.

Also fix the glitch during substitutions were it shows you player your taking off the pitch coming off the pitch clean and the player your bringing on going on dirty.

And also if both teams substitute show them both

Also i want to see cut scenes removed and have everything happen in real time to allow the game to flow.

Also if you put custom music on during matches the sound effects and commentary get turned off fix it so the sound effects stay and commentry can be turned on during custom music.

Also fix the nets so balls dont go through nets.

Also if a player is injured alow us to keep them on the pitch if we want to.

Here are some suggestions for FIFA 08

1) Add More Leagues (ex: As many south american leagues as possible, Japan, Austrailia,Greece, and at least one African League)

2) More Competitions(ex:Copa Libertadores, Asian Club Cup World Club cup)

3) Add Conference to the England Leagues

4) More Stadiums From MLS and South America

5) More International Teams(ex: HOLLAND!!!!!!, Ivory Coast, All South America, A lot More African and Asian teams (Iran, Saudi Arabia,South Africa,Ghana,Angola,Togo)

6) Make Fans More realistic and adapt them to region for example make the Engalnd Fans look like England Fans and Make South Amercian Fans look like South American Fans, And have people wearing team kits in the crowd.

7) Have a career mode where you get to be the player and choose where you want to play

8) Have a one season National Side Manager mode where you can manage your team to an International Tournament

9) Make a larger point of rivarly and important games, for example if your playing playing a home game with Boca and the thier playing River Plate and you score make the crowd noise louder than it would be for a goal against any other team and also if your in a cup final make the crowd noise for a late equalizer or go ahead goal louder than for a league game against a bad team

more teams every league in the world every tournament in a mode to choose and play like copa america u-20 u-17 world cup ect. and every team in the world

i think that the new fifa should have like pre match buildup before you play a match, more realistic gameplay, seeing the club lift the trophy, have interviews with players after games and with manager, the ability to train your own players and put them through drills, create your own player and control him through his career and then retire to become a manager stuff like this will really improve the game play

i think that ea sports must put paramedics on the pitch with a strecher and get the player off and fix the animation on players

Ibrox Stadium, Northern Irish League, Man Of The Match, Player of the Year, pre-season matches, be able 2 c the linesmen and managers, managers get sent 2 the stands, interviews, the world cup in season mode but u could go any team u wanted 2 like Northern Ireland, better songs like a few heavy metal songs, under 21's, c a picture in a newspaper article like in fifa 07 of the person who signed and holding the team's jersey, fans signing real songs in any league, c inside the dressing rooms when the manager is giving a team talk and real life looking created players.

1. More realistic transfers.
2. Players performances are affected by transfer rumours.
3. Individual awards at the end of each season.
Player of the Year, Player's player of the Year, Top Goal Scorer etc.
4. Sponsors chosen to be shown on team shirts.

In my opinion you should be able to change the home and away kits every two seasons like in real life(eg colour and styles), you are allowed to choose what shirt sponsers go on your teams shirt you should also be able to interact with players in more detail so you are able to claim interest in them, speak to the media about certain players you would like to sign or you think are perfoming well. Aswell as all that I think you should hold press confrences frequently and be given lots of questionsby the press to either anwser or just dissmiss. After every week you should also be able to check the football sections of papers and magazines so you no what the papers are speculating about. you also need to bring back the skill moves like stepovers and fake shots (on xbox 360) because its gotten really dull. I would also get a good kick if there would be a button to dive but that probably will never happen because every time you play chelsea on the game they would be gettin away with it every 5 mins.

I almost forgot. In the hockey games you can have punch-ups so it would be good if you got them.

if would be good if you saw the players lifting the cup when they win it and confetti comes out of the things behind that billboard thing and George Best should be added to the Classic XI.

11. Louder atmosphere at derby games.
12. Players make more dangerous tackles in derby games.

please have the copa america with all the new players from south os america, and should put the best team from all the country that is champion this year like on the rest of the world should put colo colo from chile, and san lorenzo

i think fifa should have a face maping player maker mode that would make the game really fun!

on the new fifa 08 i think you should put adidas and nike boots in edit mode,make the players,fans and the coach more realistic,make more international team(african teams specially),better manager mode,add HOLLAND to the national teams,put fights between players,make the graphics in 3D,more skills move,and more regular goal keeper.

i have been a fifa man since the first 1 on the mega drive, i thinks its 13 years later i still love playing and each year you always improve the game, until now. fifa 07 on the xbox 360 just isnt right, its pretty sad to say i actually go back to playing it on the ps2 and even go back to playing 06 & 05. i have tried pro evo and never thought that i would ever entertain it but if fifa 08 doesnt go back to its traditional gameplay, this is one customer your going to lose and people i talk to are saying the same thing. so its up2 you guys at EA the make the little men like me can not wait for the next fifa or is it going to dissapoint 2-3 years in a row !!!!!

please add the chilean and argentinian leages of football because there are ones of the best leages of america. and also add the copa libertadores of america and the nissan southamerican cup please because i think if you agregate theses things the fifa 08 will be the best game of football

Please add Croatian league or at least Dinamo Zagreb ! Dinamo is much better than all clubs from Austria, Iran, Korea, MLS (USA), Turkey, Mexico, Belgium, Swtzerland and it's better than 80% clubs from Premiership (England) , Pimera ( Spain ), Bundesliga ( Germany ), France , Seria A ( Italy ), Holland, Scotland !!!

You can also improve Croatian national team. Eduardo, Modric and Corluka are too bad in the game ( in real life they are wonderkids and super players ) and the otherplayers and tactics are incorrect.

on fifa 08 i think that you should make the nets tighter and you show players getting interviewed after a match, make the game faster, make it so you could choose addidas boots and nike in edit mode, have a better manager mode, graphics better hopefully the ps3 graphics will be realistic, make it so the fans are better and it shows the managers on the sidelines and do a presentation after you win the league or cup in manager mode.

you should bring back the skill moves and add a diffrent moves to special players. Also add pele and maradona to the classic 11 team.aslo add a feature were can pull the shirt of a player so when the counter attack the ref marks a foul and the defenders get back to there positions.(add headbutts j/K.) some indoor sounds nice. bring the OLE chant to the next gen. make some special events like copa america, copa libertadores, euro cup, remake the uefa champions league add the ball with the starts in it add the uefa cup., superliga where teams from diffrent leagues like the mls or the mexican league have a tournament .make the maneger make diffrent face expresions when there team is losing or when the are happy and nervus. bring tournament mode back so when friends come over. edit mode some you can change what the are wearing and hairstyles. yeah more teams and stadiums.

More international teams e.g. holland, ghana, canada etc.
Better skills n boots for created players e.g. addidas predators, total 90.
Able to manage international teams, more hairstyles to choose from in created players.

There are lots of good ideas on this forum. Here's a couple of ideas I think would be good, ( know some of these have already been mentioned).
1. Ref and linesman on the pitch and visable during the match. Also officals make more realistic decisions, i.e. getting it wrong every now and again.
2. Variable weather during matches, also pitches cut up during matchs (to go with the weather) and suffer from wear and tear as the season progresses.
3. Better A.I. i.e. world class players and playmakers make a visable difference on the pitch, making more realistic desicions and runs etc. And better ability to make more sectacular shots, i.e. the classic Gerrard long range shots.
4. More club and international specific chants, i.e. Brazilian samba bands,club songs, you'll never walk alone.
5. When you're in manager mode and you start bringing young players into your team, the commentators don't seem to recognise there names and don't call them out, this can be annoying. Also when you create a player, there should be a way of having your player's name mentioned during commentery. (possible similar to the way NHL 07,does it).
6. Being able to play a full 90 min match.
7. Players going away on international duties, and the possibility of managing an international team.
8. A five a side indoor league.
9. Road to the world cup, and world cup tournement, possible included in manager mode too.
10. World club championship in manager mode.
11. Ability to create your own stadium and edit kits.
12. Add ons via internet.
13. When players get injuried physios come onto pitch.
14. A training mode during manager mode to assist in creating better team chemistry.
15. Crowds get louder, more excited for big games and can influence players, refs and the games.
16. The ball is affected by weather conditions and players are affected too.
17. The ability to play through balls or diagional balls is better and easier, it seemed to work better in FIFA 06.
18. National athems and all that sort of stuff during internationals and big games, i.e. FA cup final.

I know it's alot of ideas and i'm sure there's a load of more ideas out there, but just some ideas for you to think about.

please can you make your stadiums and and pick kind of stands you want and more different designs of boots and can you make every footballers stamina better and try and get all the latest transfers and ea tracks what are from uk's top 40 list?

i think that there should be youth leagues on the game and you should be able to control them.
and they should be more leagues and pleasue could players fight after a bad tackle and could you tells us what "EFA means and ECC" ?

- Actually have sponsors changing from season to season and showing on shirts in manager mode.
- Better conflicts after fouls (not just cutscenes with pushing and handbags...)
- Unlockable south american commentators! (GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!)
- More atmospheric introduction to matches - like club anthems and crowd shots before match.
- More realistic crowd reactions, wearing team colours as well.
- AN OPTION TO MARK A MATCH AS BEING PLAYED ON NEUTRAL GROUND TO ENSURE AN EQUAL CROWD BACKING! - THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL!

i think fifa should have ronaldo n kaka on the front rather than ronaldihno coz he hasnt been that good this year! oh yeah also i think that the game should be harder coz fifa 07 is too easy,the cpu was soo easy to beat.Also something else which annoyed me woz like when the top4 teams in england finish in stupid positions like arsenal finishing like 8th-sure that would happen!! actually it might happen next season lol but it isnt realistic is it.One last thing more players need to be given proper looks

add random things that only happen once in a while such as pitch invasions after a heavy defeat of a player attacking the ref, or the always comical dog/streaker on the pitch

if FIFA07 on the 360 played like FIFA07 on the PS2, you'd have a winner, but it doesn't. why mess about with the targetting for shooting at goal? And the players all seem to weigh ten tonnes as they can't collide without spinning out of control for five yards or so.

the usual ideas, stadium creator, more crowd interaction, (maybe have the home crowd start to diminish early if you have a good lead?) TV-style presentation (maybe a second licensing deal with Sky Sports?) , but really the main thing about playing a football game is when you want to shoot the ball in a particular area of the goal, it should be straightforwards to do. like in FIFA07 PS2. the first FIFA that genuinely is more fun to play than Pro Evo. especially one on one with the keeper - the finesse shot works really well, BUT ONLY ON PS2!!! on the 360 you still have to stay one step ahead as the reaction time from controller to player is way too sluggish, making quick scoring chances difficult to craft. keep it simple, no dive button, consistent foul/tackle detection, simple targetting, good net reaction to the ball (in 360, the ball must be full of helium as goals hardly register in a big, billowing net), a nice 'thunk' sound for hitting the post, wider selection of skill levels, downloadable online content such as new boots, balls, etc. take out a load of the unnecessary rubbish like season highlights and rooney interviews, NBA live demos, and sort the gameplay out.
