Your Ideas for FIFA 08

The ability to customize formations from scratch is a plus, as well as to give individual assignments to players in those formations.

The days of the base formations are gone,and managers are lining up their sides with more and more differing formations. To keep the realism of managing up to par, it would be nice to actually "draw" out where each player should go in a formation, and then define the main areas of interest on the pitch that each player should cover. Players could be given specific roles for on/off the ball situations in these zones that would make them more conducive to team footballing as their chemistry, skills and alignment are forced to come together.

As far as refeering is concerned, it would be nice to have an option, with the ability to toggle on/off, of refereee attitudes, similar to that of the team attitude meter. When a referee is known to award more fouls than an other, make that individual referee have a shorter stick for awading cards, and vice versa. Combined with a teams attitude and individual player chemistry and emotion, the amount of arguing or acceptance going to discussion of the foul will either make the ref more assertive or more angry throughout the match.

More rest of world teams like L. Moscow, S. Moscow, B. Jerusalem, Hapoel Tel Aviv n Haifa, S. Bucharest, R. Bucharest, Belgrade teams, Africans like Al Ahly, Asec, more from the Americas.

Ok. I have 10 years experience playing FIFA.
The following aspects should be improved:

- Goalkeeper should get a yellow/ red card if he makes foul outside his area, they should also be able to get an injurie, same as a fieldplayer. So you sometimes have to swap keepers instead of a fieldplayer.
-Give each team a coach, with their real faces and influence in the game. Rijkaard, Mourinho, i want to see them on the sideline!
-Let the referees make mistakes (offside, fouls, throw ins) sometimes, same as in real football.
-The 'saves' in the game should go faster. Not in three steps (save? yes, save? yes save? yes...it's annoying)
-Capabilties of players should be more realistic. (you do a pretty good job already!)
-Try to avoid very easing scoring, even on worldclass the game is easy against computer.
-The advantage rule must be better applied and execute, now you often have advantage, and the referee whistles anyway!
-Show longer repeats, not only the end of the attack, the goal, but the whole attack.
- Implement 'In game management' (IGM), so you dont have to go to menu to switch formations.
- Put in HOMW and AWAY game again, like in previous fifa versions. It's very exciting to play 2 matches against friends. 1 HOME, 1 AWAY-game.
- Put in all real faces for top teams from each leaugue.
-More real tournaments, not only custom tournament.
-Give us back some tricks to do please. Two good tricks is more than enough!
-Make it possible to make your own formation instead of the obligation to choose standard formations. Players should be able to move individual in the line up.
-Considering 'shopping', it's FUN to buy shoes from nike, adidas, lotto etc. (i dont like EA- shoes)
- Give the opportunity to adjust players faces (i dont mean custom players, but players that already in the game)

If the current commentary on the wii version is permanent I might just switch to PES. PES commentary is the best. Challenge it.

I would like you to put andy gray and martin tyler as the commontators and can you add the iraqi leagues please also I would like to have international cups in the game like have the world cup or euro 2008 and i would like the croud and atmosphere to be better and more realistic. i would also like the old players ( maradonna,Carlos Alberto, Ramón Mifflin, Franz Beckenbauer, Vladislav Bogićević, Giorgio Chinaglia, Hubert Birkenmeier, Rick Davis, Marinho Chagas, Andranik Eskandarian, Johan Neeskens, Werner Roth, Julio Cesar Romero, Roberto Cabanas, Carlos Carlos, Shep Messing, Jomo Sono,george best, etc…) and old teams ( old new york cosmos etc…) and i would like to have the reserves leagues and cups and to train young players to bring up in manager mode. plus i would like goal of the season and player of the year and other awards. also in manager mode i would like the transfers to be more realistic like the team owns millions of pounds not only thousands and i would like them to make a team what you could make better and make transfers and make some of your own players to put on that team and play it in manager mode. i would like to edit MORE players ! also in manager mode i would love you to make it possible to buy football boots,footballs,keepers gloves etc… to make your club play better and to get better equiptment for the youth players.

can you put lower leagues in the game like the confrence and put more cups in it like the uefa cup in it

add referee mode aswell because it will be a different challenge and make a etter and funner game. i would also like to be able to make your own teams,custom teams and referees kits and would like to be able to design other items like footballs,boots,gloves,kits,training kits,stadiums,the design on the football turf,managers and reserves clothing,the fans faces and clothes etc... and at half time you could go to the toilates and buy a drink and a hotdog etc...plus i would like to manage the world 11 and classic 11 etc... and would like the game to have the football team preditors and F-50

all kits and stadiums in premier leagues should be on game and could be unlockables

i think you should put womens football on the game aswell. like have the premier leagues and all of the other top leagues for women and all of the top womens football players. and i also think you should add the womens uefa cup and champions leagus and cups etc... on it

Gloves, undershirts, underpants, more boots, more hairstyles.

Copy and edit existing players and teams in creation mode.

More stadiums. Plus, each upgrade should have atleast 5 stadiums to choose from (if no stadium creator)

On wii player hands dont clutch well.

Each team should have its fans wearing its colors. Away teams should cover a portion of stands.

PES commentary is by far the best so u have to beat it (probably best-est or something).

Player mode whereby you control a player's career and teams he plays for.

when rival matches play eg: Arsenal v Manchester United or Real Madrid v Barcelona....make the fans be really aggresive and boo the opposition players when the have the ball. Show securaty and stewards seperating the fans more and show police controlling the crowd.

Another problem with the wii version is the crowd. this time it definitely has to be realistic. Plus officials are still missing during gameplay.

more stadiums, more boots, better free kicks, make the players look more like they do in real life.

please please add more stadia into the game and better graphics on players. More boots to choose from and fix the free kick so i can curl and dip the ball like ronaldo or quaresma

For us wii-ians, no discrimination. Facial expressions, moving hair, sweat, untucked shirts, socks styles, etc, during gameplay. These should apply to wii version too. On wii it looks like an upgrade of ps2 but its ok. Just add the above plus:


dynamic editing and creating(should be far better than PES and W11),

monitoring of other leagues during manager mode,etc.

we shouldnt be limited to 2 or 3 bids in transfer market.....we should have unlimited bids. And also make it so that we can edit players in carrer and tornament modes and so that we can put real boots onto created players. Make players look more realistic especially DROGBA, ADEBAYOR AND EBOUE. Add holland onto international teams

My wish list for Fifa 08,
Need more leagues such as the J League, A League and the Africa League to cover off the world.
Need more National teams! After all Football is the biggest sport in world!
The create your own international tournaments takes too long to setup.
If all the international cups are already preset by regions for such internationals as the Euro, Cup Liberators, Asian Cup and Nations Cup, then the user can just pick the country and they are away. I would like to see more player skills and a faster game play with tougher defending styles. Bending the ball from corners, crosses and free kicks would be nice.
When you win a title I would like to see more extravagant celebrations from the team and the victorious fans!

360 fifa 08 had 6 league and was a real let down so please stick all the league back in again I cant see my self wasteing another 40 quid on a game with 6 league's it needs to have the same as the others made the game a really bad buy. And more grounds some grounds from the championship and the scotish prem like ibrox and celtic park. And the scotish Leagues one and two. Create a ground all this features will make a great game. Manger mode.disign your own kits in manger mode for every season. Add more League such as the League in N.Ireland i here rumors the R.ireland league will be in it so why not both. But please put them league back in the 260 version please.

for psp: should include more player tricks, better soccer cleats, more soccer leagues, spanish narrations, practice mode, and customize the players eith accessories such as earings and tatoos to make it more realistic. is true cristiano ronaldo should be in the cover with messi and give us an opportunity to create our own perfect eleven team.

i think they should include spanish narration and more leagues such as countries for psp.

5 things:
1) Argentinian league - (open/close) / Libertadores Cup and sudamerica cup will be in fifa 08 yes or yes.
2) Make teams like: European, American, Asian Dreamteams.
3)Give more points or stars to players like Gonzalo Higuain (real madrid) - Lionel Messi (Barcelona) - Carrizo (River Plate) and other players...
4) Original Stadiums for teams like River Plate (El Monumental), Boca Juniors (La Bombonera)
5) add original names and cups for the tournaments, and original managers for career from diferent countries, and referis like Elizondo (arg).

I think that FIFA 08 should definetly show some focus towards the pre-season i.e. the summer transfer market and more importantly pre-season tournaments like the Emarites cup and Amsterdam tournamnet for example. There are several 4 team tourmanents during the summer that could be featured on the next FIFA game. Also it would be a good idea to add the club champions cup that is held in Japan which includes all the club champs from each continent.

you guys should add way more celebrations and have unique celebrations for individual players. goalies should be able to take free kick, penalties and they should come out for corner kicks. the fans should be more realistic with real chants and cheers. you guys should add alot more leagues and alot more tournaments. the tournament should be real like the UEFA or Libertadores. the player should look alittle bit more realistic other than being the same guy with different skin tone and hair type. you guys should also put alot more soccer cleats with more detail and we should be able to costumize our own shoes by changing colors and addind flags and stuff. the field should be kind of beat up after the game from all the slide tackles and player falling. and when the players are injured it should show them coming off the field with a medic squad and in pain. and there should be more weather options and more stadiums. there should also be better jukes and tricks to use. there should also be accidents like someone bunps into someone and they bleed. and there should be a refferee in the field that runs with you during the game. and last but not least you should add a better cover with an Asian player, a European player, and a North American player, i recommend Nery Castillo or Andres Guardado. you should have better videos and best 100 goals of the world of 2007. and you should have mini games like street soccer or free kicks or dribbles for points to use in the fifa market place. oh and i really enjoyed the one-on-one with the goal keeper on fifa 07 on the 360. thats about it. thank you for the fifa franchise

I would like to see more realistic transfer window. Like clubs like arsenal, liverpool, always offer like 100 times more than the original price. and also make player contracts more in depth like specific terms not just money.

Be more involved in the team training in manager mode, have more realistic negeotions, other ways of financing your club like selling jerseys and team photos scarfs. be able to build your own stadium... have better and hard expectations to meet from your club.

For The PSP Version, FIFA 08 should have a create player and club option. I was dissapointed that I was not able to create a player or club for the FIFA 07 PSP. This addition would enhance gameplay enjoyement.

hey guys the fifa 07 which i am playing again for 15 time over i find that the ball control is not satisfactory ok ja i play a slow game to dominate my opponents but i still lose the ball in fifa 07 all though i win and then fifa 06 game playing was the best fifa i played . the champions league plat form is also good could u improve th shoot button please more power and the cross button to and o yes more formations and ps why do the defendes push up i every time suffer a counter attack wen i play 442 man u and thank u ea for putting bend to corners i like i score many goals

There should definitely be franchise mode. Not that crappy superstar mode, but a good, sit-down-and-make-the-trades-and-position-battles franchise. The 360 can handle some pretty big concepts, so I'd like to see a mode where players actually argue w/ each other. So far attempts to implement chemistry have been unsuccessful, so I think a better, more prominent teamwork meter is necessary. If two players are battling for captain spot, they shouldn't like each other, and that should show up. Some of this would be great to implement into an in-depth franchise mode.
