Your Ideas for FIFA 08

I think that Ibrox stadium, home of Glasgow Rangers, should be created for the new Fifa 2008 game. Not only is this stadium one of the very few to have 5 stars but it also has never made the Fifa game. It seems that most leagues bar the SPL have at least one stadium replicated and this is where Ibrox should come in.

i want to see in fifa 08 tournaments like world cup , american cup and libertadores cup you know we need a format to make a virtual tournament and play with others gamers online

put argentinian league .. is the best league. Argentina have messi and maradona

also player mistakes and more off the field options.

I think fifa could improve the game in a couple of ways to make it more like real football.
This list applys for players on and off the ball

1) In real football the ball is not always controlled. It gets away from players sometime, it bounces much more and is not always perfectly in front of the player.
2) Players often leave their designated line and formations are not always perfect.
3) A Longer clock
4) In football the players are very physical.. they foul a lot. Add more physicalness(shoving, pushing, battling for the ball, bumbing, incedental contact)
5) Football does not break for fouls free kicks and throw ins
6) Players interact with each other and the refs
7) Make the skill moves better and more efficient
8) More realistic player movements

everyteam in the premierleague should have alternate kits

i also think that when you sign a player, a little animation comes up of him joining your club etc etc.

i think that alot of players in fifa 07 have been given low overall scores, for instance Arteta of Everton.
I also think that the game needs to be faster like in the premierleague. Closing down for instance from the other team.

Make the goalies react better to poor angled shots. Attackers should almost never be able to score near post from a tight angle on a goalie. It is especially annoying when the goalie misses the near post save by falling backwards allowing the shot to go directly over him.

1) Take a break from European leagues and add some from around the world like A-League, South Africa PSL, J-League, and Argentinian league.
2) add lots of national teams like Ghana, South Africa, Cote d'Ivoire, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Holland, Angola, Iceland, Canada, New Zealand, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Guinea, Senegal, Morroco, Egypt, and Bosnia & Hertzegovina
3) Add World Cup and competitions like African cup of nations, Asian Cup, Copa America etc.
4) Add lots of stadiums in Premier League, Bunesliga, Eredivisie, MLS and if you add World Cup and/or psl add some South Africa stadiums and if you add A-League then add some Ausralia Stadiums and Westpac stadium in Wellington,NZ.
5) More realistic and interactive fans.
6) Better goalkeepers.
7) Visable referee and linesman.

Hi EA sports, I am delighted to have the opportunity to suggest my ideas to improve the game. Fifa 07 was a very good game, entertaining, superb commentators and a wonderful atmosphere in the gameplay. The idea of including improvements in carreer mode was delightful to see and to play. Surely Fifa was apreciated by millions of people across the world.
But to make an even better Fifa, in thins new version "Fifa 08" many improvements could be included to make an even more successfull game. improvements could be made in gameplay for example, the way players run. They could run more realistic like in real life. The way they dribble and their moves. What i am trying to say is to make it look more like in real life, and there should be a big improvement of scoring difficulty. Nowadays in the PremierLeague, not many goals are scored in each game, perhaps between the best and weakest side of the league. My point is that in this new version the difficulty of scoring should be increased.
In the real world of football managers have to think alot about successfull tactics to win each match. Fifa could include this idea, of fifa gamers opting for more tactical games than just doing a solo effort.
All these ideas I have included are just to make the game more realistic and challanging. If the game is mastered quickly, the gamers will just get bored of winning all the titles, and the y will just wait for a vast improvement in the next version. I am not trying to say to make the best graphics and the best game ever made, but i am trying to suggest to make this game more challenging.

I think the best thing EA can do is GIVE UP THE DAMN exclusive licenses of the teams so that real football games such as Winning Eleven have a shot at creating the most realistic football game up to this date.

1. Allow players to dive/hanball/two footed tackling - If the offence commited is totally obvious then player should be booked/red carded ( makes it more fun when playing with friends)

2. Enhance manager mode - players not getting regular football become unhappy at club, big named players demand place in starting line up, internatioal teams/club teams become aware of your sucess therefore approach to sign you, more intensive media speculations(players unhappy, fans protesting, transfer speculation) and stadium expansion options( design a stadium, build onto current stadium).

3. Become a superstar mode - Allow player to step into the boots of a footballer of their choice and live the life of a footballer. Start from B teams and depending on performance can be transferred to bigger clubs and may go onto international football. Even better become world footballer of the year? Allow player to play match but only allow access to footballer they have chosen - team may get beat 4-0 but if you have a eye catching performance this can be publised in paper by media therefore a transfer could be on the cards!

4. General gamplay - Allow teams (both computer and user teams) to become un organised and possibly go onto be crushed 4-0! This can occur if teams become shoddy, scrappy after going 1-0 down, this can be prevented though through either substitutions, improvement in play, formation change etc.
Allow passes to go astray if they aren't precise enough - defenders passing to fellow defenders have more chance of losing possession if there passing isn't accurate or strong enough - this will make the game more realistic and allow strikers to intercept stray passess! ( and also stop your mate from passing the ball around when he/she is beating you 1-0 with 10 minutes to go!). Makes the game more risky!
Make the goalkeepers more reliable and harder to beat!
More tricks and make tricks easier to perform.
Let players try and score from corner
Customise players attributes and gameplay - patrick veira whilst up against smaller players show gameplayer that he is clearly stronger and whilst tackling show us that he doesn't pull out of anything! Show us how fast messi is and how easily he can cruise past defenders, let us see his personal attributes, Make him go to the deck easily when a opponent touches him. - This would make the game more realistic

5. Graphics - Allow more screenshots of players during the game and personalise players reactions more! Make most of the graphics our consoles offer! e.g - Tim cahill shadow boxing with the corner flag! rooney disputing with referee everytime he gets fouled , even during open play?
Show team warming up on pitch before kick off and hear commentators giving us more stats about players eg Henry alredy has 5 goals this season can he add to that tally today? (Pre match build up)
Bring back man of the match awards after games.

i think fifa sould team up with pro evolution to create a game call fivo. a mixture of fifa games with a mixture of pro evo games. you should get the graphics from pro evo and put them with the gameplay of fifa. if you do not want to make that game please make a game where you are the refferee and you can choose to be a assistant.

Add the Argentinian league as well as other americn leagues/teams

add nike, adidas, reebok, etc. boots onstead of having the fifa defaults

Make an all-star team for each high profile league.

My ideas are that fifa didn't got really better after 2001,
ofcourse there have been some changes, but not really big things.
Know there is the big chance for the fifa game to get a little closer to Pes 6 and 7.
The leagues are okay, but some thing in the mode are really anoying.
Like: If you play in the english cup and the english league you always play at the same day,
and the gameplay, the xbox 360 version of fifa 07 was a lot better but not good enough,
Some cool gamemodes should be in and also realistic and shocking transfers!

Hello EA Sports, my name is Kevin and i play your game since Fifa worldcup 98. It's a wonderfull game, allthougt there are allways things to improve.. My suggestions:

1. Try to bring the game to a whole new level, to a realistic footballmatch like you and i see if we watch a championsleague-game. How to do that?

a. no interruptions between a foul and a free-kick, or a ball going out and a throw-in, then you will see how fast the players get back in position and there will be a better flow in the game. Make more variation for taking a free-kick, add talking to the referee, take the action of the field and bring it into the game you play.

b. improve the announcers and make more variation in there words. More shots of the coach and his reaction,

Add a Russia Premier Liga

Create a career mode where you are only one player trying to make it to the top. During the game, you can only control yourself. You have to work with the team, instead of as the team. Start with youth or semi-pro teams and have the player work their way up to club and national teams. It would be great for you to be the first groundbreaking game maker to have a first person option for a soccer game.


In manager mode, it would be cool to start a brand new franchise, like in Ultimate Team, but more enhanced. I want to see customizable badges and uniforms. I would also really enjoy seeing a stadium creator. For example: if your team is still in the second division, you might only have enough money to buy a small field with some bleachers. As your club progresses and becomes more reputable, you can afford new grass and seating, as well as some extras like a sunroof or a TV/Scoreboard. Be creative.

P.S. We all missed trick stick in FIFA 07 and UEFA Champions League for 360. Please enhance it to make it up :)

we all need referees in this game. I LOVE FIFA but without referees , its no realistic.
more replays , more cutscenes of faces of the players - they all are so perfect animanted , but with Tele camera you cant see it.
more celebrating scenes, just like when I won the Stanley Cup in NHL 2002 - that was so amazing after 4 weeks of playing the whole leauge.

in my life i've played fifa 98 rtwc, fifa 2000, fifa 2002, fifa 2005 and fifa 2007. pes i've played once on the playstation 1. it was winning eleven 2000 and it kinda look like fifa 07. but one advantage , pes has a better gameplay you can make strategies in real time, and come off with a good pass to a striker and score. in pes you have to callculate your paces etc. while in fifa i play on SLOW because its too fastyou dont have time to do anything. my advice....make the cpu a.i more realistic and harder....not like in other ffia when the a.i was crap and the goalkeeper was a god, make the cpu defence strong not the keeper super human

improve manager mode by using proper transfer fees and add reserve and youth teams
plus let us manage each day at a time so we have longer in transfer windows and not just the first 4 games in england
be able to manage international teams in manager mode
and include sackings from other clubs so if u want u can change clubs in the middle of the season u can
and when sacked instead of having to simulate the rest of the season before u get a new job let us take jobs straight away

what i would like to see is the old ps2 x box goal keepers back they where way more realistic not like in the 360 version u mostly only score from rebounds, fix the jerseys they look out of proportion. Can we add the A-League please if not in this season the next? Better player control is needed? all the old leagues and new ones. Spend more time on the next gen versions like you did with ps2 and x box with manager mode and go into depth. When players get choses to play for the international club it would be a nice option to play the international friendly or put the world cup in the game every four years instead of making a whole new game.
