It would be interesting to have an option that you can play az a single player not az a team.
Zidane must be in "Classic XI" as of FIFA 08.
I would also like to ask you to include a more realistic referee that gives advantage and misses offside calls, just like in reality, theres never a perfectly called game, thats the way fifa should be. Also, please bring back the directed freekick screen because the new version where theres no aiming mechanism is a useless waste of time. Thank you again.
Please add a player career-mode - for exampe, you create a player with his own parameters, attributes and so on. First, you playing in the "yard team" (it can be looks like street football game) after some victories, you would choose one of world football schools (from Europe, Africa, America...) you would pass the entire exams (shooting, passing, endurance). Then, after some success you could be selected in one of low leagues of Europe ... and so on.
I just manage to obtain my first penalty, till now i only was the keeper at penaltys and it was really nice. But now i had a penalty as a striker and i couldnt belive what i saw. THERE IS NO POWER BAR FOR THE SHOT. Its so stupid, i cant belive it. Only games earlyer than 2000 had this. The computer decides if u miss or not.
In the freekicks is important to have "a button" like the playstation to shoot harder (go to left or right of the ball)
i was thinking that will be very realistic on the aerian duel to jump when we press the "jump" button.
When we make a foul, the player goes automaticaly to the ball, and i don't want to, because the refree give him a free kick, and i want to wait until the opponent get the ball back :P
When a player has scored he go in a direction, and in "cinematic" the player is in antother place (from standard direction)
The pressing style is not working good, because i select the pressing style and the opponent can pass in the back easy, and i get mad when is a draw and the COM not seem to play for win. (this was evidently in fifa 06)
when i try to past the keeper and he jumps to the ball, i turn and he "hit" me, the attacker goes down and the refree didn't give me a penalty
The most important thig is that in evrey year we all are excited to see how is the next game of EA Sports, and in every year we get disappointed when we see the game with same bugs.
the keeper is too stupid, we give him goals easly from far distance
Overall:FIFA feels the pressure of winning eleven series and is actually improving...competition is a good thing for gamers

My boyfriend loves Fifa and i think, that every one, who likes this game and also my boyfriend would be intersted if the goalkeepers would take harms as other players.

It was real nonsence in 06! You haven't putted CSKA Moscow club in REST OF THE WORLD list! Do you know that this is an owner of UEFA Cup 2005! This club really passed throught a hard way to that trophy. By the way, main coach Gazzaev is 6th in European Coaches Top! Please, add this great club in 08.

I think you have to add to team section "REST OF THE WORLD" the teams that had the championship in that year...
For example...
In 2005-2006 year in FC BAKU had a championship... And you add FC BAKU from Azerbaijan to REST OF THE WORLD...

-player can change without problem all datebase of the game, but he can choose between original and he's created datebases
-Players can download new leagues from easports web-site and install it without causes and problems in the game

Can I suggest including more Asian sides in the international teams this year ? Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea, Iran, China PR, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Bahrain will be nice additions to beef up the national teams, and may I suggest adding a few champion clubs as well...like Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, Dalian Shide of China, Pakhtakhor of Uzbekistan etc
-you should add Iranian league, plus some other asian leagues
-also the celebrations should be more realistic, not just the actual celebration but the time between the goal and the celebration must be shorter

1. I wanna see Russian Premier-League in new FIFA. Really, brasilian players from our league (like Wagner Love and Daniel Carvalho, for example) are playing in Brasil National; 4 russian teams are playing in euro-cups, and now its one of the most powerful leagues in Europe, except 5-top-leagues and some other, like Portugal.
2. I wanna see Argentinian League - yeah, it would be interesting to play in it, because of:
3. Realistic Libertadores Cup, its third important club-competition in the world for me. After UEFA Champions League and UEFA CUP, of course.
4. I want to see Training Mode and some stats to do, like:
a) Injuries stats - Every player have basic injury-stats, for example from 0.2 to 1 percents. When you foul on player, he gains +0.1 or +0.3 (its random, yeah) percent of injury. And every time you foul, this system is defining chance of injury. Every day of vacation this system is reducing injury-stats to 10 percents of this results to basic. For example:
Player has 0.5 basic, then it was three fouls on him in game, and next game is 5 days later.
0.5 + 0.7 = 1.2 * 50% = 0.6, where 0.6 - is percent of injury in next game.
Then, Gamer need to play more carefully in trainings and to vary structure of the game when some player need to have a rest. And yeah, Gamer must see that stats of course, and its not an tiredness stats, but it may influence on it too :)
b) Gamer can make some graph of shape. Every player have own points for that, and Gamer can choose peaks of his shape (number of peaks and their 'quality' - is what players own points mean). So, Gamer need to train team for the most important matches in seasons by this system :)
5. It kinda weird, but... Woman National Teams - it can be bonus-mode or some patch, but everyone loves women (esp. woman ;)) Ratings of a game may increase in one moment after that! Just think about how many girls want to play in football-for-girls ;)
6. A lot of bonuses like in PES. I played a lot of it even when i didn't want to play. But i wanted to open ALL! Add videos of tricks, dribbling, goals and saves! Add secret national teams (like Woman, a ha, or classic Brasil and France), add classic players!
7. Realistic referees. He can make a mistakes in offsides, in penalty (very cruel? but its real world ;))
8. Cheating on the field. Just think about it - falling in penalty area with 5 percents of penalty shot and 60 of yellow card. And of course its not fair, but... eh... let it be one of modes that turned-off in default.
*really, sorry that commented leagues from voting poll, i just think that i need to say what i want to see in new game*
- pay attention to players atributtes values, players has to act like they have 81 or 45 in shot accuracy, or passing; so that you fell like is to confront a good team or a bad team it'll be much fun. e.g:
'bout players. if you have a player with 48 on tackling and 87 on marking, that doesn't mean that defence on this player will be better than other, is just better on marking, but if i press A (on PC) this player have to be more prone to comit a foul than take the opponent ball..
if a team has a defence line with players with 80-77-78-61, when you play you'll have to check the other team and attack more on the right were the opposite team have a player with 61, you know.
if Electronics Art pay attention to improve player's behavior, movement and that.. i think that will be much easier to put the players on the pitch and then set tactics and even they let us put player freedly on the entire field. position by position.like we want.
a CAM is different to LCM, so they have to be like a CAM. it's simple as that!
GUI:
FIFA 07 is pretty good but i see betters!
ANIMATIONS
that changes betwen animations and "in game play" it's pretty sh$%&·y
when you made a goal and then came the animation. players stop and then they rise it's arm and that.
heading: is S$%&. players jump is so mutch better in PES.
but even that FIFA it's in the game! i will buy it!
add Argentinian League.
like others said, just pay principal attention on PLAYERS and not in other stuff!!
