Your Ideas for FIFA 08

I would like the game to speed up a bit....Pro Evo got an amazing game engine. The 2006 World Cup-game was fast, but then again it didn`t have all the 07 feautures. Also, The A.I has to improve on both players and goalkeepers. Make them smart, make them out-play you sometimes with fantastic one-touches and dribling. The "Throw-in" part could also get better...maybe you can have like a battle-button to make room and recieve the ball? Last but not least..have more sequences in the game..more of when the teams walks out on the pitch..more when they score,win,make subtitutions...well you see the picture. It`s simply too few of them.
Hopefully you make many of the people`s suggestions submitted in this forum come to life in FIFA08. Remember that we are the one`s who buy,love and worships your games!

Also, the real himns of the clubs at the beggining of the mathces and realistic songs like "Never walk alone" from liverpool, or "así así así gana el madrid" from Barcelona fans XD

You also could put dramatic music in the most important moments in the game, like targets, penaltis... you did it in Wold Cup Korea/Japan 2002 and it was very cool. Better celebrations when you win a cup, and realistic format for Champions League and UEFA Cup. Also, all the real stadiums of the teams in La Liga of Spain, and all clubs of Segunda División, Segunda División B and Tercera división.

Here is my ideas.
1. There should be 2 types of career modes. Manager and player Careers. this would make the game more fun.
2. Add press conferences to the game in the Manager Mode.
3. Add better scout players and youth players.
4. Add the FA youth cup
5. Better Next-gen Graphics
6. More in-Depth Departments in manager mode
7. Better player-growth System
8. More Realistic Free-Kicks (i found a glitch)
9.More footballs
10.Manage International teams
11.Signature or more Atmosphere in the Stadiums (Liver - You'll never walk alone)
12.Mascots

first of all fifa 07 was great but a couple of additions which i would welcome are...
1. realistic stadiums like ibrox and hampden etc
2.there should be more leagues such as the lower leagues in scotland or any other countries as you have done it with the english lleague so why not the other leagues
3.in manager mode you should be able to play pre-season friendlies
4.when searching in manager mode's transfer window if you put in for example : 1million to 2 million pounds to see what players you can purchase with your budget
i have other ideas but i dont want to go on for to long .

wel 1st. --- we need referees and line's man in play.
--- 2nd we need a better editing section. editing for players, kits, sponsors, stadiums, managers.
3rd we need to be able to get offers from other clubs during the season and international offers.
4th chose stadium of club.
5th. have more leagues. italy. nederlands. scotland. welsh premier. australia. argentina. and the conference.
5th more emotions on players like storming off down the pitch when being subbed or sent off.
6th. logos and sponsors on goalie kits
7th. seeing the manager and subs on the bench.
8th. when players get subbed. the 4th official with the board and the players getting subbed.
9th. indoor football and arenas.
10th. more more stadiums. especially a bowl kind of stadium for the likes off. leicester city, coventry, southampton, derby etc etc and white hart lane.
11th. zidane to be unlocked.
and 3rd choice kits for more teams. such as leicester. blackpool. fulham.
and the captains armband to be tight instead of being very losse and solid.
and thats about it. but we seriously need this to happen. thanks.

I'm a U.S. Citizen but I'm originally from Iran and I know that in Iran there are millions of people who love the EA Soccer games, so my idea is that the Iranian league which is a pretty important league in Asia should be in FIFA 08, and if not the Iranian League at least the Iranian national team must be in there, I bought the FIFA 07 and I was very very surprised not to see Iran's team there, knowing that Iran was also qualified for the 06 world cup. My question is that I don't know how does EA choose the teams for the game!

Better Stadiums, Better Effects, Plyers Fight, Better Boots/ Celebrations, in manager mode you can get a sponser like adidas Nike etc, sweat warm ups national anthems and stuff, Managerial directions and them sort of things

Fifa needs better coverage replays and commetary and also to include conference teams and take outa league that we dont know over here!!!!

i think fifa 08 should be avalable to people who play on all platforms, so on ps1 to the nintendo wii. Having recently purchased a nintendo wii there are not many decent football games and if you were to put fifa 08 on the wii i would be very thankful. thank you for reading this and it would be much appreciated if you were to get back to me on my suggestion.

It would be great if you could manage small sunday league teams from an area of your choice like my team Pudsey Juniors or Bramley Juniors etc. Please make the graphics just like real life, the graphics in FIFA 07 are great but if you could make it even better that would be great! Oh and also if you could have press confrenses were you make your own desicion and award ceromonies were you are in a suit and you are surprised when you win the Golden Boot and the Player of the Year! I think in manager mode, the game should be processed in weeks, and not go from game to game. There is less time to sign players and for me that is annoying because thats one of the best parts. Also there should be a bigger player pool to choose from. You dont have to add more leagues, cause lets face it some leagues only have 1 or 2 decent teams. I want to be able to sign good players from lower leagues, like Eduardo da silva, modric and corluka from dinamo zagreb, these are great players, but the cro league isn't really that great. And also I agree with one of the comments about being a national team coach. This would add an extra dimension to the gameplay.

stadiums update

Please add playable FIFA 94 and/or FIFA 95 (cd version) and I will buy FIFA08. Old FIFA 94 doesn't work on modern computers.

All of my friends got the same opinion, there must be indoor soccer!

And it needs many many more stadiums. To be honest, I used to prefer PES but this year I'll choose the better game so I don't care if it's FIFA or PES.
By the way - I'm absolutely for Schalke 04 and I'm waiting since 2001 for the "Veltins Arena auf Schalke" to choose!

And EA definitly needs to work on their gameplay because the gameplay of PES is much more better.

add the copa america to the game. and i think that creating your own player and only controlling him through the whole of his career from the age of 14 in the youth academy right through untill he's 40 when hes about to retire and hes a footballing ledgend throughout the world! that would be awesome!!!! and everything that is on the new game, please please please make it the same on every console the xbox 360 version of 07 was totally wacked up!

we shld see the A-league in fifa 08 now...
and i have read up on alot of pplzs request and i think there shld be a indoor manager mood where u can choose your side and have the whole side in it and u can do everything lyk manager mood just its indoor...
there r things i lyk to see changed... lyk the stadiums for teams shld be put in bcoz i see teams playing with there home stadiums which unt even there only the big clubs get there actual stadiums...
i also believe that yea crowd shld be 3D atleast wearing club jerseys and s***..
boots need to be changed iam sick of the ea boots of what ever there annoying... i know alot of pplz have requested alot... but there is alot that cld be done to improve fifa for us kids of all ages.. sponsers shld be on teams...
with free kicks i think lyk on fifa 04 i think where u can choose how u wanna kick and shoot lyk bend the ball and all i think that shld be in it.. also with players special tricks that there shld be a menu where u r shown how u can pull of there trick...
i also believe with the last guy who commented that we have top players going to no name clubs and thats abit s***... i think clubs that have top players outta contract shld actually stay unless another big club offers to buy if not they stay with there club not go to some no name crap...
also side line refs and ref shldbe in play ... and with injuries if so players r carried off... but also shooting and crossing is different bcoz its lyk always the same... nothing new... maybe with offsides that sometimes u can get awa ywith being offside then being pulled up sooo stricked about it... maybe put the snow in play with countries tht have games where they play in the snow and even games lyk that can called off bcoz of fields to wet and flooded andstuf lyk that... maybe lyk 3D interviews with players adn coachers after the game wld be awesome to see lyk on the english premier league highlight show... well i got so much more to say but i realli hope you take it some of what i sed bcozz fifa wld be sooo much bette with a few things that i have sed thanks

Hey, i am seeing FIFA 07 as a working progress, a good step in the right direction for EA, but if FIFA 08 is not a BIG improvement then i will feel cheated out of money. loads was missed out of the 07 next gen version, no handballs? y? where did all the skills go (not for everyone but cumon C.Ronaldo and Ronaldinho not the same with out the skills) and a bigger amoount of teams with realistic money and transfer fees and better negotiation options.

A more indepth manager mode would mean you could be more 'in the game' being able to organize games for reseves so they can improve to, actually have good youth squad development. all of this so you can be more emersed in the game and be able to get players improving and get excited that every goal counts.

I hope EA listen to some of the comments posted on this site, there are a lot of good suggestions!

hi i think fifa is better than pro evo. for 2008. can you put conferance teams in the game. cheers.

This are my points for fifa 08:

- Spend less time on extra kits, balls, chears but more time on more teams, clubs, competitions
- I remeber fifa 1998 you could play inside with 6 players this future should be back this year
- Manager Mode: Transfers should be more realistic because C Ronaldo went to some lousy club in china, that does not make sens
- Manager Mode: I'm missing some good things here, when you are a good coach you should get invites from country's to play the World Cup and get invites for special tournaments so you can win extra prices and money. The reason for this is because i found out that after coaching for 8 years your getting a bit bored of the game and it's not fun anymore, but when you can be a national coach of England and you can select your english squad it would be allot of fun
- Difficulty level: should be up allot more when i play on Expert and i'm some club with 1 or 2 stars i still beat AC Milan with 3-1 this does not make sens, when i make a mistake at the back theye should scoor like 8 times out of 10 but now when Gilardino comes one on one he misses 8 out of 10 times
- Pay more attention to the gameplay then the graphics and boots balls and stuff!

hi. i've been a fifa fan for a long time. but the dissapointing thing is that the AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE hasn't been introduced yet. me and a alot of ma aussie mates are desperate to see dwight yorke's former team, SYDNEY FC, and the rest of the teams. pllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease introduce the AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE. i think u should make a build a stadium. also put the refere. put the manger on the side line. have it show the players warm up. have diferent comenteray i mean the spanish ones. put pablo rameriez and jesues bracomtens.

I am really concerned about the lack of sports in your game. EA really irrates my behind when it comes to games like this.. NBA 07 fo life yo`

hi, i was wonderin if you could add the australian league in 08. alot of the aussies are desperate and have been waitin for it for a while. also if possible add improved statistics like man of the match and some of the features from the manager type games. also Allow the ability to not just interact but take action against the ref, eg.(Argue, swear, backchat, which results into a yellow or a sending off). thnx fromda land down under.

i was hoping that fifa 08 could contain a penalty shootout section just like wall attack or juggling because pk's are so much fun. if fifa did this then i think the game would be complete

About the cover page player: Shouldn't the FIFA player of the year deserve a change ( Fabio Cannavaro) ??? Well put at least 3 like you always do! I guess the top 3 would be fine... Cristiano Ronaldo, Fabio Cannavaro, Miroslave Klose.... Ronaldinho has had his chance. Fifa 08 is all about improvment and breakthrough gameplay. Why not live up to it's glory by changing the cover? This will help us understand that it's a whole different ballgame.

Here's an idea. How about collective stats in lounges?? Say I have about 3 or more people who play in a Lounge like my brother, dad and myself, and my player scores. Wouldn't it be nice to know that in that lounge my stats are being kept by hearing the announcer say something like " that's his 4th goal of the season, or 4th goal in this tournament" etc.... I mean something that makes me feel like there are more people watching the game other than myself and my opponent!

Hi. I was concerned about the shoes...why cant EA just put Nike shoes, Adidas, Umbros..etc on every players even new ones that come out in the 5th season and stuff like that. Why put those pathetic EA boots. Another thing is the Referee is gone, same with the linesmen, it doesnt look right. Also could u put realisitc players that are subs and reserves actually sitting down on the bench instead of putting dummies sitting there. Another thing is can you put the manger walking in their boxes yelling at the players or telling them tactics. Make the audience where their team colors. Another one is can they put the more South Amrican clubs and leagues. Like the Colombian league, Argentinan league, Chilean league, etc. Another is to put more stadiums and make unlimited edit players. It would be fun to do a little cheating here or there. Also... how come Ze Roberto the brazilian left winger midfielder isnt in any clubs or in the game. What happened to him?

i think it would be cool when u r creating a team if you could put real sponsors and business names on your jersey to make it look realistic like adida, nike or give a list of real soccer sponsers like AIG and car companies etc.

i think u should be able to control a single player in the game and maybe start your carear as a 16 year old in a lower league team or an academy and make your way up to the top teams and you can pick up individual awards on your way

Make a good choice of boots avaliable, like fifa world cup 2006, not like fifa07 which has a very bad choice of boots.
