Your Ideas for FIFA 08

ok first of all i am using fifa 2003 for pc so some of what i say may be outdated
im just going to list as i think of them and ramble:

Momentum meter like in NCAA Football 07, in-season player progression, no more exaggeration of Americans’ lack of skill, in season mode having Trax of team-specific songs and chants, close ups of fans going nuts, stadium-specific occurrences like the bouncing rows of seats in DC United’s RFK Stadium, new soccer-specific stadiums in the US, streakers, player career mode, toilet paper throws that don’t evaporate like in 2003, perhaps a create-a-team, trading jerseys after international matches, ability to edit player skills and change their positions and jersey numbers, manager in-game playing strategy changes, maybe when a substitution is made show a player walking to the midfield line or something and then have that guy with the digital sign held up signaling who’s on and who’s off, playing elements like wind and snow, roster updates, perhaps a player or two crying after a big defeat, offseason training in season, every time a forward has the ball taken off him he throws his arms up and walks: not every forward is a prima donna, classic teams (i.e. 02-03 ManU), a weekly football newspaper with in-season events like Madden NFL 2005, add the Dutch National Team

Xbox FIFA07 and uefa06-07 is different of the other series of fifa
Upgraded graphic is outstanding but quality of playing fifa is little upgraded
ball winning skill and goalkeeper defence is unbelievarbly UP UP UP!! this is contrasted with difficult offence skills (Dribling )

Player's figure seems to Gorilla..please change the player's figure more slimy...
when zoom-in in replay, ..nobody think they are human playing foot-ball but they seem to wresthler..the factor seriously decreases eye-Interests of FIFA..

maybe add more of an international aspect to the game. eg. euro qualifiers, euro champs, african cup of nations.
then also give the user the option of managing international teams.
more sponsors and greater revenue for being in the top flight should also be given.

The Greek Superleague is a must have in FIFA 08 it is emerging as a larger league sending out teams far more successful than some of the other leagues you have into europe...i mean you have 3 or 4 leagues from england and 4 teams from greece, just put the league in they are better than the turkish league...yes Olympiakos can crush galatasaray and fenerbache sk

it needs freekicks like from 06' 07 didn't give you the abillity to spin the ball or aim exactly where you want. there also needs to be an easier chip shot.
it also needs more customizable features such as: celebrations, soccer gear, field formations, manager's physical features, and music playing during the actual match. also give the players personalities like real life. there also needs to be new types of training sessions other thatn juggling and wall knockout. there should be more
it could also use less glitches. for example, many times after i scored the announcer would call for a corner or a goal kick. thats stupid.
it also needs more ease of signing any player. every stat seems to go down when you buy a new player, good or not. team morale goes down when you play new people. bank budget goes down too much. teams also often dont have enough players, so you cant buy them. it also doesn't give you enough money to start out with.
i noticed you also made some teams way above their actual skill level i would get so mad when a great team like milan would lose to a team with one good player, toni.its impossible in real life. you also made u.s. players ratings way worse than they actually should be. instead of having newspapers tell you that you have one a league ora championship, show the actual trophy.
it would also be nice to have a button where you take a dive to fake a foul. older players actually decrease in skilll to late and a too rapid a pace.
on a different subject you should make a replica of an FUTSAL LEAGUE.

Oh and I also want to see Australias A league in a FIFA game...it is our premier league after all.

I want to see a FIFA game with Tim Cahill on the front of the box (for Australian release) in a half Everton half Australia kit. Also I would love EA sports to make an indoor soccer series or at least include it as a mini game.

O and I'm just wondering why pele and maradona aren't in the game?

I think that fifa 08 should have something almost identical to the superstar mode in madden 07. This would bring a new dimension to the gamers who want to experience what becoming a pro player would be like. Have an apartment, work your way up and get better reputation, have an "influence" factor, etc. maybe throw in a first person view in the cameras option, but still keep the old ones. Then you could throw in an option of turning on/off whether your team has the final decision on if they want to trade you. Then again thats where the 'influence' factor comes in. This whole superstar mode would make you guys a whole lot of more money, along with keeping more fans hooked. thanks

TURKISH SUPER LEAUGUA ON FIFA 08 FOR THE XBOX 360 IS A MUSTT !!!!

Scottish Division 1,2 and 3 should be added.
No East Stirling would be a disaster. Partick Thistle should be in it.

In the rest of the world these teams should be in it. (Sparta Prague, AEK Athens, Orlando Pirates, Kaiser Chiefs, Panatinikos, PAOK, Steua Bucharesti, Rapid Bucharesti, Maccabi Haifa, Beitar Jerusalem, Al Ain and NK Gorica)
With those teams it would be a good game.

I hear the A-League is definitaly in.
That should be good. Sydney FC are good. But the Russian league, Argentinan league and Slovenian League should be added.
More Weather conditions (Snow, Wind, torrential rain, drizzle, sunshowers and others).

I'd like to see tackle and pass be assigned different buttons on the control pad. I've lost count the amount of times I've lost the ball as I tried tackling the opposition player when I actually had the ball in my posession without realising.

I love fifa games, but i think that you should have the Champions League from the first season and when a lower league club is promoted to the top league they play with the REAL LEAGUE BALL! Also more stadiums, more realistic crowds and a proper ref and linesmen.

first of all more leagues like the russian,argentinian,greek and at least one african league
secondly the weather there should be more effects to the weather like addition of snow and the overcast weather in 07 was rubbish sometimes u saw rain sometimes you didnt it should be a little more visible
thirdly i think i speak for everyone that there should be dribbling skills that dont have complex moves maybe like pushing at least 2 buttons at a time,
4th in manager mode(PS2) there should be practise inorder to develop the players not editing remove that edit players stuff
as for that indoor soccer idea dont do it unless if its incorporated into a practice mode in which thats the only way you upgrade players

Teams finishing in the bottom 3 of the leauge in manager mode should be relegated instead of just being allowed to stay there every season. Also I feel the referee and linesman should make mistakes now and then. When the ref or linesman makes the mistake the commentary team could give their opinion on it.

I would like to see more leagues in the game. I do no think there should be a swedish league as the teams are not very good. I think we should include Russian and Greek leagues as this gives you a larger choice to pick from. I think you should boost Ajax's team rating as there a great team with lots of players you have never heard about. Please Please Please boost there star rating up

no FIFA game has been as impressive as that of FIFA 03 just try to put the player control a bit more easier like we used to play before 05 using only A,S,D,W,E keys not so many like C,Q etc
Make the gameplay much better than the 07 and an extra camera angle should be like that one is the player himself controlling the ball and deciding how to pass with warnings when he is about to be tackled this might inspire every one to dribble and make spectacular moves not prototype moves MORE CREATIVITY NEEDED IN GAMEPLAY

I really loved FIFA 07 but one thing I didn't like was that the skill levels were too easy. I loved the fact that you had to unlock the perfect mode, but really the game's skill levels could be bumped up a little higher. Anyway great game and I hope FIFA 08 is even better( if thats possible).

Add more leagues to the game and add the AFC Cup and AFC Champions league.

Add the Indian league and the Australian league.

The Dutch National Team is never on a FIFA game, why?? The dutch a a major international competitior

I love Fifa games, Fifa 07 was utterly addicitive and far outshone its predecessor. I purchase Fifa games on the grounds of the aesthetics and visual realism.

The improvements I would love to see made for Fifa 08,

1) More attention to be paid to the team kits. Often in away matches a team will wear alternative socks and shorts but keep there home jerseys. Also a team usually has a couple of choices for GK kits, these options could be made available particulaurly in the team customization menus, or the pre match start up menus.

2) In the customization zone, the amount of changes you can make are limited which causes frustration. I would like this to be limitless and perhaps even more options given.

3) As many premiership teams as possible should have their stadiums. For teams that do not have their real stadiums available, a better range of alternative options should be given.

4) Weather; At the emirates stadium, it can either be sunny or nightime, this isnt true to life, Overcast days and rain are common in london aswell as the North. And a winter option would be cool.

5) All player sponsorships should be made available, every player should have their correct boots. I know painstaking care is taken over making the player look like the real charcter, so why not add the boots aswell.

6) Players hair changes, this would be a nice option for realism

7) What about a pre match clip of the players warm up, or the psyk up talk in the changings rooms

8) In the training mode, penalties should be able to be practised

9)Team formations should be more flexible as in PES, player positons can be moved individually so certain players tuck infield slightly or play deeper as you see fit.

10) The option for a player to roll the ball backwards is too rare, backheels and cruyff turns should be easier to manipulate, plus the new tricks of flicking the ball to quickly change direction, cristiano ronaldo esque.

11) kicking the ball against an oponent deliberately to win a set play

12) when a cross comes in, the option for an acrobatic shot rather than a header should be there

13) goal keeper movements are almost there, but on occasion a shot will leave a keeper motionless and i think that should be reflected.

14) defenders should try to block shots as well as tackle, and the deflections should be better reflected

How about some awards? like top 10 goals of the season? player of the year? etc...

First of all, Feyenoord has to feature otherwise the game is no good at all!!!
Secondly, the players don't make enough mistakes, even Feyenoord players make some mistakes sometimes!!!
Introduce auctioning when buying players so you know what other teams offer what or at least know what the demands are when negotiating.
The referee should be noticeble in game play, so should the linesmen....And please add the real FIFA rules: you can't play back to the goallie!!!

you should be able to play with all the youth teams and the international b sides and under 21s. after a match they should show you the interveiws. A variarty of comantators. in manager mode you should have press confrences. you should be able to play wiyh confrance teams

you should also make the faces of the lower league platers look more realistic.

AND FOR MANAGER MODE IT SHOULD BE LIKE FIFA 05 WHERE U HAV 2 START WITH A FAIRLY BAD SIDE AND YOU CANT START WITH BARCA CHELSEA MILAN ETC. BECAUSE THAT WAY IT IS MORE REALISTIC I MEAN WHERE DO U SEE SUM RANDOM OF THE STREET STARTING HIS MANAGER CAREER AT MAN U OR SOMETHING

You must include in FIFA 08 the first league of Romania. It is a strong league that have many good players and it is over other leagues that you included in FIFA 07 or FIFA 06. Just see the last performance of romanian teams in europe and compare them with the performance of polish teams or turkish or sweeden or danmark or norwige. Thank you!

gday lads, i think that the A-league should be included... great league... or at least have melbourne victory in the rest of the world teams..... i also think that there should be a dive button where if you press it the person dives and the refferee might give you a free kick or a yellow card for faking... i also think that the crowd should be mor realistic and be closer to the game!

My suggestion for FIFA 08 is to have a 2 v 2 tournaments. It is great fun on Pro Evo online and FIFA could really take this aspect of the game and run with it. Allow headsets to be used and teams to register to find out who has the greatest teamwork in 08!

Also a few more suggestions:
1.Make the tricks easier to perform.( In 05 they were really easy to do. In 07 I really gotta twirl the stick for anything to happen)
2. Improve online servers and don't "Time-Out" the user every 30 minutes. Thankyou
3. Improve the AI of the players. Many times I see players making runs that don't make sense.
4. GET RID of the bug that makes the player take that extra touch before he crosses even though the user has punched the button way before going out of bounds. The player ends up going out of bounds all the time.
5. Lastly, improve the online servers lobby and such. It it really hard to get around the lobby and scroll the player list. It is really slow and choppy and the previous versions were never like that. Make it easier for people to type. EA if you allow this, a community will be formed. We had a great community in 05, but wasd dying in 06 and it is dead in 07. No one talks to each other because it's hard to

U know i found fifa 07 really good, but if u wanna beat pes this years i will give u some advice.

1. In fifa 07 wen u play at night the pitch is really dark make it bright
2. Add mor weather choices like snow hail and thunder. If it is rainin hard the flood th pitch
3. Make the referee more realistic like he accidently gets in the way a of a pass u know sommet like that
4. Crowds are like lolipop sticks make them more realistic mke them throw coins at players at rival games more chants louder crowd volume make them boo at own team
5. At rainy days make players slip at crucial moments, miss control the ball harder 2 shoot, cause keepers to make more mistakes like un ables to hold it after a shot.
6. Improve the keepers reaction and save. LIke when a ball is struck fiercely straight at the keeper make them punch it straight out or punch it over the bar, make saves more realistic by finger tip saves and tipping it over the bar when the keepr is of guard. The keepers spills the ball after a shot the dipped in front of himImprove the keepers reaction like scrambling to the far post or complete double saves in quich succession.
7. The ball physics was really impressive in fifa07, but the one thing the lacked was the way the ball was strucked. They should add shots which dips shots which looks like going wide but curls ate the last moment, and shots that leave keepers motionless. One other thing is that make snap shots look more dangerous.
8. Highlights is the key ingredient that fifa do not have. They should show highlights of every shots that was taken evn if it has gone a million miles wide because it makes it realistic, they should say it it was a reverse angle or not. Whils showing the highlights they should show the biuld up to the shot or goal, because in other fifa games it jus shows the shot and the player who shot it. which is boring because the build might have been really good.
9. In match setup we should be able to choose which type of balls we want to use.
10. In replays they should highlight all part of the player including the boots.
11. In rival games there should be fierce challenges and reaction to the challenges. The reaction should be fierce. There should be headbutts and pushes. And also in big games referees should make some mistake like when it is clearly penalty but the referee denies it. Allow referees to make critical decision which can alter who can win the game.
11. Make the linesmen and the fourth official important in the game. Like the linesmen allowing a goal when it was cleared of the line. The referee should be able to send the manager from the duggouts to the stands.
12. Lastly when a player is injured allow play go on untill the referee spots it. then show medical staffs trying to heal the injured player, if seriuos stretching him off or if the player can play takin him to the sde lines and allowing him to come back on. In crucial games like finals semis or a rival game sow players drinking and takin advice from coaching staff and manager.
