i think that managing a national team is a great idea. the graphics could be better though. Like the goals. They all look the same. the premier league nets look nothing like they do in the game. they should be more white, or what ever colour they are in real life. and the fields need to look better and more green with the light and dark effect. like in the premier league. and there should be all the premier league and spanish league stadiums. we should also be able to upgrade the game when the kits change or the sponsors. there should also be more leagues like the south african psl. there shouldn't be leagues like the polish. all the other smaller, but major teams should be in the rest of world.

You should have a super star mode like in NFl Madden where you can be soccer next best thing.

I realy enjoy playing on the fifa lounge,but there should be top scorer,cleansheet bookings etc stats about the players,and you shoud also be able to include more players in it.

There are some great suggestions on here for the next game, but 1 of them is absolute crazy. Instead of including the Iranian League (as noone outside Iran will seriously be interested in playing it), please be realistic and include the Australian A-League aswell as the Japanese J-League. By including these 2 League's, you will have the traditional power house of Asian Football in the J-League and the future in Asian Football in the A-League.

insert a eurpean cup mode for euro 2008

you shoulkd make the leagues more realistic, for example middlesbrough shouldnt win it and chelsea come 11th its not real.
also stadiums should have more prescence e.g the turkish league with flares and ultra singing. more turkish stadiums e.g ali sami yen and sukru saracoglu. better championss league action.

1. Bring back the FA Premier League Theme Song that was in FIFA 06 but not in FIFA 07.
2. Also include club songs like Liverpool's You'll Never Walk Alone, appropriate chanting and booing of certain players of the opposition team when he touches the ball.
3. The linesman should raise his flag in the correct direction when the ball goes out of play and the referee should move to whistle to his mouth to blow for foul. In real life, there are times when the referee gets hit by the ball and that should also be included. Referees should also make mistakes some times.
4. I suggest adding the real Youth Academy of each club with real life players in it .
5. Also include a reserve league with another coach.
6. International coaching in manager mode should also be available.
7. Do not limit 3 players of the same club to play for their country. Allow maybe maximum of 6 players of the same club to have the chance to be called up. Do not just choose the players with the highest overall ratings to be called up for international duty. Choose players who are needed and suitable.
8. Commentaries should be of a wider range and be said at the appropriate time. Commentators should also mention the goalkeeper's name when he makes a save etc. Pre match commentary should be more detailed especially for derbies, title deciding matches or relegation dog fight matches.
9. Injuries, red cards for the goalkeepers should be made more common. Yellow cards shown to keepers for time wasting is commonly seen in real life football.
10. Penalty kicks should include the power bar like FIFA 06, with the linesman standing on the byeline. If a penalty-shootout takes place after extra time, the players should all stand in one line at the halfway line.
11. Diving and swearing at referees should be made common and the result of flashing of a yellow card should be seen more often.
12. FIFA Flashback was quite interesting in FIFA06 and maybe more nice goals should be included in the FIFA Extras.
13. New attributes of players might include temper, eating habits to make FIFA 08 more realistic. Players with bad temper usually commit bad fouls and get themselves sent off, eg. rooney, barton. Bad eating habits will cause players to gain weight and lose speed and pace.
14. Include real life tournaments like Euro 08, World Cup, Asian Cup, African Cup etc during the domestic campaign. This results in real international call ups and disputes which is commonly seen between club and country when the club refuses to let the player go for international duties. Hence, a lawsuit maybe featured in the newspapers and the problem to be solved.
15. Make the players' contracts in Manager Mode more sophisticated with release clauses, and extra cash paid to the former club based on the players' performance.
16. Use the Summer Transfer Period to organize friendlies with other clubs as pre season training. And at the same time, allow more chances to bid and negotiate with new players.
17. Players might get injured while training or goes AWOL maybe for a training camp and the later match. The club can fine him and cause his morale to drop.
18. The visual simulation in Manager Mode can be improved by allowing the use to watch his team play and see what's exactly happening on the pitch, not only being described by words.
19. A dugout can be shown at times, with the unhappy substitutes warming the bench, the manager jumping around his technical area and the coaches sitting calmly at the background. i think these effects should be included as well.
20. Sometimes, a billionaire might come by and buy the club which means more transfer funds, maybe new stadium etc. There may be squabbles between manager and owner.
21. When players suffer major injuries, they should be stretchered off instead of walking off. Or some minor injuries like head clashing during headers, elbowing, can be treated by bringing off the player for a few minutes and allow him to re enter the pitch to continue playing.
22. Goalkeepers should have their own individual style especially when saving penalties eg. Wobbly legs, touching the crossbar and posts first and jumping left right etc. They should not dive dramatically while picking up the loose ball without pressure.
23. Make the weather influence the match more, like rain to cause players to slide around more and further, poorer ball control, and the sun the blind defenders when they look up to head the ball, causing them to miss head etc.
24. Allow the user to create his own formation by adjusting where exactly the specific players should play, give individual players special duties, and decide which players to go into the box for corners, freekicks, and who should stay outside the box to make late runs or wait for loose balls to hit.
25. Create a patch after the transfer season so that users can download and update the squads, international selections, retirements, stadiums etc. this would effectively cut down the time wasted to transfer player by player.

i think that the keepers need to be tweaked so they dont make silly mistakes such as smack the ball into their own net and they also need to react more fast so their are less rebound goals. manager mode should have real celebrations at the end where you can see them hold up a cup so you feel like your team is acheiving something. on the next season you should be called the reighning champions by the commentator so you dont feel like your back to square one. the referee really needs to be on the pitch. substitutions need to be properly performed. shirts of players should come out, when cold wear gloves. the crowd needs to have more impact when ur playin such as your doing a one man run with a player and the crowd gets louder (screams). free kicks harder to score and quick restart.......these things will truly make fifa 08 a masterpiece

when winning cups or trophies provide more money and every year depending on how well you have done provide a descent trasfer kitty this will make game better also better sponsors when you achieve success this will alow people to improve there on team over time rather than just going a team like man utd or real madrid because they start with good players and a good transfer budget.

add more stadiums from scotland like celtic park and ibrox the home of celtic and rangers and stadiums from portugal like benficas and portos as well as some more spanish stadiums like sevillas, valencias and villareals this would improve the game a lot rather than just playing at Oval style like in fifa 07 and also would provide a bit of variety rather than just adding more English stadiums which we know is going to happen.

In Fifa 08 please do your homework on players from other leagues apart from England and Spanish leagues and give them a descent rating like players from Celtic, Rangers and the Spl in general also players from Porto and Benfica and the Porugese league in general because in fifa 07 many players from leagues like these were vastly under rated and also looked nothing like themselves so please work on making good players better and more realistic in the game so they can compete and also work on players looks so they actually look like them. Make good players good in the game instead of under rating them just because they dont play in the premiership or la liga players like Simao of Benfica, Boruc, Vennegoor of Hesselink and Nakamura of Celtic, Gattuso, Oddo and Kaka of Ac Milan, Queresma of Porto and also stop over rating players just because they play for teams like Man Utd Players like wayne rooney and Ronaldo who in real life dissapear in all the big games as well as other players as well like Fabregas of Arsenal who only scored 4 goals all season and for an attacking midfielder is quite poor. So in fifa 08 for ps3 make all of these players a bit more realistic. PLEASE !

The manager mode should have a twist after a while, because after playing for almost 10 seasons, it get repetitive. Perhaps real life companies, or investors could sponsor the clubs. I bet companies would pay to have their company on there as advertisement. It would also be cooler to be able to design a stadium in manager mode. And last thing in manager mode, a bigger deal being made when a big transfer is made.

Player career (like NCAA Football).

You create a player with low stats as your startout career player.

You then pick a low rated team for you to join. You start out playing in training matches until you've played enough and performed well to join the first team.
Initially your a sub, you play each match as a sim until your character is picked as a substitute by your manager, you can then control the game as a normal match, of course depending on how long is left (and if you start a match and play badly your character might be substituted and it returns to a sim)

Initially you can't make any tatical changes to the team or the formation.
The better you play when you've got control of the team the more time you get to play in the match, the worse you do, more matches are just sims until your dropped and your career is over.

As you progress you get more influence on the game, you get to play longer, eventually your character become a full first team player and plays every match (as long as you keep playing well).

If you become the captain of the team you can start to make tactial changes, though you'll only have the choices offered to you by your coach.

Eventually if you play well enough and your character reaches a certain level your player will be offered a contract to be signed to a better team (or worse if you play badly), and eventually if your player is a regular top perfomer in a major side you get the chance to play in international matches (ranging from U21 friendlies to the World Cup).

You can play your character as long as you like, a quick season, or play from start to the end of a career, spending the last days of your old character playing in the lower leagues and once again as a sub.

Just an idea.



Oh and heres another idea: to have a code system for custom players, you have a code made of a certain amount of characters that when you input it in the custom player menu it creates a player, and you can get the code for players you have created so you can exchange them with other players.

You could have this for hidden players or funny ones, or just a way for your custom player to get around the globe.

You could also get into promotions EG: Buy this chocolate bar and the player code will be on the inside of the wrapper so you get a new player in the game.

1. It MUST have international squad managing with all the competitions in it
(Copa America, Euro, World Cup e.t.c.)

and with more possibilities of success on all those dribbles

3. When a player is one on one with the keeper, the keeper has to react like a real keeper, not like TARZAN in the jungle (that also means that you have more possibilities of making a successful skill move)

4. There also must be linesmen not only replays which shows why the player was offside

5.The referees must make wrong decisions some times (just like in real football)

7. When the player crosses the ball, he must not dive out of balance all the time

I have heard that you are including the Irish Eircom League Teams, but you should definitely have our national stadium, Croke Park in it. It is by far the best stadium (no bias honest) in the world, even surpassing the Camp Nou!!!
Just saying it would be great to see players coming out on the best stadium ever :P

I think that it needs to be made more realistic. i.e. more injuires, more bookings, refs to actualy make mistakes and not be perfect, training in manager mode, the ability to manage international teams, players to dive and get angry with each other, to be able to see the ref on the pitch, definetly be able to change your kit at the end of the season and to see the manager at the side of the pitch. always to have businessmen invest in your club and to be able to build completly new stadiums and to design it. apart from that brilliant game:D
