My idea is that in maneger mode you make it that you can talk with the players have parties for winning matches

Just a few things:

Custom formations, with drop and drag adjustments
Sharper passing i.e. quicker ball interchange, players using more of their anatomy, lay offs, through ball toggle refined etc.
Set pieces: Using "tiger woods 08 style" analogue contol enabling you to slice, spin or drive the ball.
Longer summer prep. in manager mode.
Performance reflects job offers and contracted time scales for managers.
Simulation of league more detailed e.g. bigger clubs get better players, maintain their avg. league positions and less easy to win in quick sim mode.

Fifa could pay attention to small things like the following, it would be great.

1 GAMEPLAY. i play pro evo, and fifa and to be honest. Fifas gamaplay is too automated. I could just run up a wing without any skill and cross it in for a header and score. even on the hardest level. This is the easiest way to score. I've dont this many times. You cannot do that with Pro Evolution. I understand the AI is more advanced now so I hope this will be rectified.

Still on Gameplay -In Fifa 07 the player positioning is too "square", you can not have plays whereby, a right back supports your attacking winger high up the field, or a defensive midfielder drop down to cover for a centre back who has ventured up. It is also not possile to tell postions which direction to make runs. Currently the runs available(L1) are just up the field.

2) It would also be nice if individuals can be given more instruction than just man mark etc. More comands like defensive/attacking mentality should be added. This would be good eg, incase i wanted my winger to drop down and support my Left or Right backs when playing a fast skilful player. Or have my attacks centred around wing backs like dani alves, or even around a defensive midfielder like makelele.

3) player runs should be introduced too. For example if I am a winger and I cut into the centre with the ball, the striker could make a run headed out of the box to draw a defender and create one on one situations. this can be done by drawing arrow s for players in relation to ball possessor and possessor position. Currently when player A has the ball, no one moves in any direction other than back and forth. In fact. if Player A stops in Fifa 07, the whole field stops

4) player attributes - The current system is good, but it could be better. only thing is when improving, the players seem to improve on everything simultaniously. It would be nice if it were more realistic, eg, more shots on target, would mean his shooting accuracy increases. Composure should also be added. cos there ae strikers who have accuracy but lack composure in big matches. however currently, home or away strikers stats dont change.

5) player interaction should also be added. At times you may have a player who is not playin well and you may want to shout at him or encourage him at half time. Therefore, player mentalities and characters should also be attributes. So that if a player has a good character, he can actually get a 5 point increase in his stats for the game. or lose points depending on manager comments and character type. Players can also be lackin in confidence and a wuick comment can fix em or destroy em. That really is management.

6)player influence can also be introduced. A player with great influence should be able to affect a teams performance. Eg captains. So if an influential player in missing, the team performance could go down. Eg, Terry, Cech, Henry, Eto-o, and Messi's absence.

7) Individual player styles should also be added. For example Lampards late runs are characteristic to is style of play.or goalkeepers tendancies to punch, or Ronaldos tendancy to not go back down to defence, or rooneys quick returns to defence. Even temperament. (which a manager should be able to control with a comment or two) . Rough players should also be able to instigate negative temperates from players too, with resultant action being dependant on temperate attribute. That adds depth to the play. Instead of each player being blank and just dummies.

8) Individual coaching is an innovative addition fifa 08 could introduce. For example a manager could get a players last match summary with all his moves in list form. and as the manager you could ancourage and discourage each move. Eg runs up the wings, taclkes, missed passes, mistakes leading to goals etc. That way players gradually grow into the managers style of play with time. This would be good incorporated with an attribute called settling or something. For players with a hight settling attribute could quicky adjust to a managers style, and those with a low settling take a longer time to adjust. That way you would have some players from spain having a tough first few months in england, and some fitting in quick, and some not fitting in at all. So manages ould have to request summaries from scouts for plaers they want to buy before they spend money. This sould encourage intelligent managing. Anyone can buy foreign players, but would the be right for your style and team. rushed purchases should be risky incase players dont perform. this should also be all over the media. EG) New barcelona signing in goal drought or Athletico new winger raining assists.

Disillutioned players should be able to go to press and affect their value, and demand, and pressure from board. So if i dont play a young winger for example, he can complain and cause other teams to rain in with offers. I might be able to refuse all of them but the board can intervine and accept some offers that are too good.

So managers should be able to control their team , and media, and fans too.

Training sessions should also be added in manager mode for player bonding and skill improvement. if a player misses training, he can be disciplined.

Players should also go away on internatinal duty mid seson eg african players, and managers should be prepared for this. The youth team/academy should be accessible and managers should be able to buy youth. n reserves.

managers scouts should be able to scout actual players for different reasons. either to check on their perfomance or their potential. managers should be able to get a months report on a player.

The media should also be ble to speculate on this causing the players value to be affected. or the players club can issue a hands off warning.

one last thing. The Game should ether Continue to the next day or Continue to the next match during transfer season, so negotiations can be done in a timely fashion. That means ther should be a seperate mail section rather than having mail after a game.

gameplay on fifa 07 sucks.
FIFA 08 must have better gameplay ( it is the most important ), tricks, some playeers have special moves

so you can drive to games and have all the players including reserves

1. real pitch like or almost in TV
2. real balls which you can chose from(and PLEASE replace you EA balls)
3. real boots
4. more stadiums
5. real referes
6. managers during match and at least a couple of faces
7. the goal to have different kinds of net
8. the liberty to make your own tactic, formation etc
9. more realistic crowd( like in NBA or NHL)
10. more driblings moves

In FIFA 07, where is the Finnish league? I wish the Finnish League in FIFA 08. And African leagues, like South Africas league is good. And some Balkan leagues, like Bulgarian, Greek, Romanian, Ukraine and Russian leagues are very good for Fifa 08!

definately have the A-League, and have like madden's nfl superstar, where the player can request transfers and fronts the media. you start off with a trial somewhere and play for lower league teams if you cant get a geurnsey for the best sides. also need players to attack the ball and the headers must actually go somewhere, sometimes they just dribble away. also make the difficulties actually difficult. also have it like all the american games like NBA and madden by having it as a day-by-day calendar, with training and if you bid for a player on the transfer market, you dont have to play a match to see if you have signed him

-extend the summer transfer.it is too short.sometimes it was just 3 weeks.it's hard to prepare the squad and sell unwanted players if the transfer is too short....
-add more formations.major formations like 4-1-4-1 is missing from the game...
-this one may sound a bit far-fetched,but maybe,just maybe,the malaysian super league can be added.it add more colour to the game and promote the league
-start manager mode with smaller clubs only.after that,player can change to better club if their performance as a manager is excellent.also make leagues in manager mode more realistic.there was once i played that man united is relegated,and they still have their big stars(ronaldo,giggs,van der saar,ferdinand etc.).

there should be a better selection of boots,jewelry, third kits, balls, gloves and a better create a player section and manager mode. we should be able to unlock boots just like on fifa 06 world cup.

I have read a lot of the other ideas and the best ones seem to be:

1. More tricks - keep it up to date
2. Better Free kicks - bend the ball, player options
3. Being able to edit the players actual position on the pitch - Like Pro Evo (cool game)
4. Simple but effective team/player/stadium editing (with online mode)
5. Make creating a unique team and kit etc. play a big role
6. Heaps of unlockables! - Classic players (Pele, Bobby Moore, Young Ronaldinho), Classic Teams (old skool Brazil)!

I Would've liked if you putted in all the different leagues in the next Fifa. The Swdish, greek, norwegian etc. Also, a place where you may practice your free kicks. Try to "upgrade" the game by making it easier to take free kicks!

Please add better grafics like the players should look like real life also the player should do more trick with ball more skills the comentators should say all the names of the players. Please work on this specially on the grafics.

you should be able to go to international matches during manager mode for ex. euro, world cup, etc.

I dont know if is possible but try to make somthing so we can put our face on a created player so we can fanticise our self actualy playing. Please try to creat it.

Well. it would be great if there could have been a mode in which we would be able to play as one very player. I mean just one player! whom you can go around with and wait for passes or get the ball yourself and the rest would be controlled by computer.
This way it will be really cool. It's just like the real game!

Hello. i will like to see in the store mode a way to buy gloves for the goal keepers, lots of shoes, classic teams like the Barcelona of the 80's or national like the Argentina selection of 1984.
I think that the next FIFA should have infinitive player editions, more hair styles , more spaces to create a player and teams, and when adding a player to a created team the player should not be erased from the team that the player is playing now. To be able to put a player from a national team that is not in a club that is in the game, in any club of choice. But the MOST important detail is to ADD THE ARGENTINIAN LEAGUE.

Hey. This may be asking for alot, but must be said. The way you have Spawn Games and EA Lockers on Madden should be put into FIFA online. I feel this would add alot mroe fun and depth to players interacting and having fun using fifa online.

At least every team in Champions League, UEFA, and INtertoto Cup not currently represented by the 30 leagues.

That way, we can simulate the tournament from our perspective.

Maybe dding the Hyundai A-League. this would sell many more copies in australia

Bring back either the skill stick moves or another way to do more juking . Practice game modes with skill tests and shooting
and crossing practice and tests, as well as set play and dead ball plays and shots that can be chosen and practiced.
I also would love a game mode that had it where a player gets hot like old school NBA Jams, kidding, but that would actually be kinda cool.

A mode like Topspin's where you can be either a player you create or an existing player and lead him through his career. That way you can play league, cups, and/or world cups.

Maybe add successful tackles, saves, successful passes, etc. to the leaderboards?

Maybe highlights of other matches played in your league, like in the Nintendo DS verison of Fifa 06?

I have one single and big request: make the grass to be as real as you see it on TV because as you've noticed at night it the grass is so dark that after a couple matches you cannot play anymore and you hardly see the ball and in day time the surface is almost like it was in Chelsea-Barcelona match from Stanfor Bridge in 2006. Try to make this thing and you 2 will notice the difference. All the best from Romania!!!

i want in FIFA 08 to be Liga 1 Burger (Romanian League)......because is in top10 in world leagues....and it will be very attractive ...... or at least Rapid Bucharest , Steaua Bucharest and Dinamo Bucharest in REST OF THE WORLD.......

I think that sometimes the AI for defense won't let me select the central defender. then by the time the game lets me select him, the forward is past and shooting on goal. I'd like to be able to pull defenders off of players easier.

Also -- goalies sometimes get confused and stand there while the ball rolls into the goal.

2 Player manager mode!

there needs to be:
1)referees on the pitch
2)more choices of accsessories (e.g. boots, jewerly, etc. etc.)
3)more skill moves
4)different kinds of training excersises
5)actually make the players look realistic when there running (ex. on xbox they look like robots--i think u guys know wut im talkin about)

more realistic footballs and boots like f50 and x destroyer and third kits for most clubs
in the prem,la liga and most leagues

Hi, sorry for my english, i think one of the most important things to change is making the career mode more realistic: giving the posibility of becaming manager of national teams, playing continental and world cups, all included in the carrer mode.
The other thing is to raise the difficulty level, i´m not a game master but i find the game a bit easy to play sometimes (even in the hardest level).
And the last one (and obvious one): the argentine league can´t be missing.

when you create a kit kit it looks too simple and you should have more colours to use
control only one player and let the computer use the rest

I'm not sure if any1 has said this already, but w/e. i think that you should especially add a trick stick for the 360, becuz then i cud have ronaldinho do his awesome moves. also, i think that you should have a better curve stick for the 360 becuz then i cud get awesome curves and bends like beckham

I think that there should be a player career mode that you start out in the youth academy for a club that will sign you after you play in a high scale tournament as an amateur.
Another thing they could add to the game play aspect is the ability to dive. When you're in close on goal you can dive in an attempt to get a pk and if you fail, they can give you cards just like in real life

Put in more national teams like Holland or Japan.

Commentators say a lot more things, I mean a lot more during game play.
If it's a BIG GAME other than cups, I want the crowd to be going nuts and the commentators speak more of how big this game is.

add all the clubs,leagues,and tournaments from the world especially south america like argentina,colombia,peru,chile,and allthe rest . Also copa libertadores ,and sudamericana. Also all countrys from the world like Peru,China,Chile,South Africa,etc..........and so on

white hart lane, goodison park, villa park, upton park, old wembley, highbury, more player lookalikes, changed physics,gameplay, more emphasis on goalkeepers- gloves, caps etc. weather like snow in winter, more media emphasis,manager interviews, halftime teamtalk, managers shouting on sidelines, players stretchered of when injured seriously, actually being able to see the referee, ballboys, official footballs in every game like not using the champions league ball in a league match.
