Classic Match is a friendly game option in FIFA 22 and FIFA Ultimate Team that follows the traditional (official) football rules.
By playing the Classic Match mode you will follow the regular rules of football and there will be no any special rules.
Substitutes
This game mode will allow you 3 substitutions unless you customise it in the Game Settings (Kick-off mode).
How to Play Classic Match in FIFA 22?
In FUT 22, Classic Match mode is available under FUT 22 > PLAY > FRIENDLIES (Couch Play / Play Online / Play A Friend) screen.
In FIFA Kick-off mode, Classic Match option is available under Classic Match option.
