Hey guys, I am really loving FIFA 20. But can there be any way that in career mode, there are more training sessions (player development)? Thank you.

This game is the worst for gameplay, whoever the gameplay producer is must be more disabled than Stephen f***ing hawking, the game doesn’t f***ing work I pass to someone in front of me it goes to the side, that’s when it actually does it because 75% of the f***ing time the s***ty game doesn’t do anything. Surely, the f***ing twats at ea play the game and realise how much of a s***show it truly is. We need to boycott fifa. The game is honestly so banal it's scarcely believable. How can a company that rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars in profit release a game that's so bereft of quality, ANYWHERE.
There is no quality in this game whatsoever. Career mode is broken, online gameplay is farcical. We need to bin fifa. Football is the biggest worldwide sport and deserves a much better game to go along with the popularity of the sport. This game is 0/10. Seriously. I have had next to no fun playing and have sold it on eBay. I've bought fifa since 2003 and won't be buying another one ever again. It's so f***ing bad.

Honestly it seems like every update makes it worse. Online is virtually unplayable. Defense makes plays that make 0 sense, and its impossible to find a play pattern because sometimes they will just stand still while the ball is running past them and sometimes they try to tackle on their own. Sometimes the players will auto-switch EVEN THOUGH i have specifically disabled that feature in the controller settings (both globally and in my own custom configuration). When switching players the AI ALWAYS chooses the wrong player, making defending extremely difficult. And on top of everything dynamic difficulty seems to be present, which is just horrendous and utterly frustrating. Opponents just take 1 shot and score, meanwhile I have an average of 20 shots on target per game and only score about 10% of the time. I have quit online playing because it is truly infuriating

Juventus FC is not an option in single game or career mode in the Italian team catalogues. Please fix it cause I would love the opportunity to defend against THE Ronaldo! Also, there are bug issues as I just now was not able to finish my single game as FC Barcelona versus BVB cause my goalie got stuck trying to retrieve a ball for a goal kick. I tried pausing and unpausing but that just shot my view just on the crowd. Please and thank you. I realize you wanted to release the game on a certain date but you rushed it out too soon. Please fix the issues laid out in this forum and we can all play the game of football that we all love and are deeply passionate about.

This game is the drizzling crap. I only play career mode and ultimate difficulty is just a complete mess. Every rebound falls to the AI, every header is won by the AI, every shot is a goal, I can't outpace them and my passes have a mind of their own. Test your updates before you release them. I have bought a game I literally can't play. I choose my mental health. I'm done with this

Wowww.... Fifa 20 probably one of best and worst fifa games ever. Defending is pathetic honestly. you tackle players and your defender doesnt win the ball. passing is so indirect when you tap through ball it goes directly into opposing player. I am so frustrated at the fact I have such a powerful career team and cannot beat much lower rated teams. Really just fix defending in fifa 20 then it may be okay actually.

Fix Division Rivals or get it the hell out of the game. Its garbage. Matchmaking is terrible, servers are bad, delays basically every game and inconsistent gameplay throughout the game. How about instead of lining your own damn pockets you make a game that your top players and supporters want to play because a lot of them don't like half of the game either. Trash.

I dunno how ultimate difficulty is now but a few months ago when I owned Fifa 20 I played a career mode on ultimate difficulty and changed the sliders to make it really hard because ultimate difficulty was so easy. So anways, I was doing pretty bad but I didn't care because I liked the challenge. But then the cpu started letting me score these easy goals so I could catch up and that's when I realized there really was scripting. Ruined the whole experience for me so I sold it. Now people are saying EA has increased the difficulty of ultimate and it's too hard and now ea will change it again at the end of march. This company and the entire Fifa game is just a complete mess. I wish some game developer would make a realistic football game not like Fifa or pro evolution which is just as bad but in its own way. I really enjoy playing football video games but ea is always screwing up the experience one way or another.

This will be the last FIFA I ever buy. Have been a loyal fifa Buyer for 20 years, but enough is enough. I constantly feel like I’m being ripped off. Thanks for the memories fifa, but you won’t take another cent off me you greedy pricks.

Hi ea, i want to tell you abt the ultimate difficulty in career mode are not very excellent to play against the large club and other club team because when i play against the chelsea the first premiere league during the first opening windows transfer, i wantyou to download the new updates for the ultimate difficulty in career mode to play against other league club 1 on 1 tactic, selection and instruction for the team to win the match. So please make the new updates the same as last time in the beginning of the fifa 20 ultimate team.

I play career mode only. So in the new dialogue with players, I have a player retiring. He asks to play his last home game to say goodbye. Well the problem is that he fouled out in the last game and is disqualified from playing the next. Now I get negative response because I couldn't let him play. You need to fix your stuff. Also reporters ask me why I didnt let so and so play, well they have a red card and cant. But the game nor the reporters seem to recognize this. I wish you would work 110% to make a grand career mode for the people like me

Also your AI in team management is ridiculous. As a manager I was given the objective of making a $3,400,000 profit from youth player sales within 2 season. I guarantee I made close to double that but its saying that I’m failing this objective. So dumb.

I can’t believe the servers are still this s***, it’s not fun it’s not playable. EA don’t care about their fans, their loyal players. They focus more on new ways to make money every week rather than sort out their servers so the people can enjoy online gaming.

I got the problem. Some people press the start button to request a pause just in the right moment the game is over. In this scenario, the game just stop, bugged. So, there's no way to continue en the only way is to restart the game, so I'm lossing the match to do it. Can you do something to solve this??? XBOX One X versión.

Why my ultimate team and my ultimate difficulty career mode its so big problems when i were playing against Chelsea, they win 4 - 0 to Manchester united. I tried many times each day to win all the matches against other club to not beat my best tactics and selection against other league. Please update the previous for the ultimate team difficulty and ultimate difficulty career mode. Im waiting for the update to change it the ultimate diffulty career mode and ultimate team difficulty.

U just cant build YOUR ultimate team in this game either u play with the meta teams or u simply lose, still the game is full of bugs, unthinkable rebounds, movement is trash, same boring teams over and over again, pay to winners tend to win easier for a game that makes a great amount of Money with this amount of bugs its just getting more and more boring and unfun and people will start to notice it! This game could be a great game if it had the fun of past fifas, with variety of skills more 1v1 situations, faster gameplay either than a very slow paced, ball possesion gameplay that in 1-0 results with 25 mins still to play makes your oponnente do ball possesion the last 25 mins not even having the will to attack or even counter attack just playing back and keeping the ball, i understand that this happens on real football but a game is not meant to be real but fun instead!

There's not such a thing like AI's intelligent in fifa20 career mode. This is something inverted for marketing purposes. The more difficulty level you play meaning more easily you will loose the ball, all your shoots(if you manage to succeed an attack) will go out or on the goalposts or goalkeeper will save them, almost always your players in the wrong position, almost all your passes will be wrong, wrong timing... Wrong everything! Opponent team's players reacting like superhumans. And of course yellow and reds cards in every single game is a must. Feels like you playing videogame from another decade. This 42 seconds video saw why EA's fifa20 career mode gameplay with legendary difficulty is the worst ever. Defenders knocked each other off and couldn't get rid of the ball until they loosing it. Opponent player pass thru the reffere like his not exist. Opponent player loses the ball under his foot and slides on the grass as if surfing in the water to win it back and eventually get the goal. Supposedly when you give your money to buy a video game you need to enjoy it when you play it and not break your nerves!

Instead of focusing on gathering money like a freak pls pls improve the next game coz 20 is a real trash or just give us back 19 with some imrovements

WHAT THE **** is wrong with ultimate difficulty in carreer mode? A harder level of play is meant to make the game more challenging in terms of tactical and creative play, not make the CPU players have super-human pace, dribling skills and strenght in a way no human ever would be able to play like it. FIFA developers tuned the ultimate difficulty a couple of weeks ago, and now its ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to play against it, meanwhile the legendary difficulty is waay too easy. The developers have proved to be incapable of putting up a challenge to the players who are used to playing against CPU without abusing players stats boosts. Now we are not able to play the carreer mode neither in legendary mode, because you will win every game 7-0, neither in ultimate mode, because you will lose 0-7 every f***ing time. SOLVE THIS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, because FIFA fans are just stopping playing the game, as there is no way to play carreer mode anymore.

The producers of FIFA 20 must be the laziest people on the planet. The gameplay hasn't changed for at least 5 years and any game changes that have been made make the game worse.

1. Crossing is pointless as the keeper always gets it unless you pull the cross to the edge of the box and on the odd occasion you make contact the ball ends up in row Z.

2. Passing just goes where it wants, the direction I press seems to have no bearing on where the ball actually goes when in the final 3rd.

3. Offside!!! How many times has everyone else been caught offside only for the replay to show it wasn't offside either that or the ball has left the foot by a yard at which point the player is just offside. Are you telling me a computer programme can't draw a line.

4. Impossible to outrun a CB with a forward with over 90 pace, just ridiculous.

5. Not sure about any other game modes but on FUT i can tell within 5 mins how the game will go. The team will either be full of life or look like they are stuck in cement. Its almost as if the games are scripted.

6. Controlling defenders on defence. For some reason always gives the wrong player when selecting creating gaps for the attackers. Defenders and midfield don't track back, worse than sunday league.

Absolute disgrace of game and i won't be buying another, the game is a con and just wants kids to spend money on FUT packs. The producers have never played and quite possibly seen a game of football in their lives. Pretty sure I could do a better job on this game and I can barely programme my Sky box.

The game is really bad and unfair, eays penalties are made are unreal. The way players lose the ball is bad. The game doesn't depend on skills. Its built on luck!

This year is the first year I've ever seen such bs cpu assist in career mode games. It's uncanny how you can predict the outcome every time. One cpu dribble navigates through 5 defenders at the top of the box for the tie or go ahead goal. And suddenly, my players can no longer pass the ball accurately at the end of a game, very disappointing.

Hi, I would to suggest two improvements regarding the rules of the game:

1 - In the tournament mode, on the knock out stage, when a game goes to overtime there is no extra substitution for the squad, the game remains with the initial 3 substitutions. This happens since the previously fifa game.

2. The actual fifa's rule allow a player to enter the goalkeeper area to receive a pass during the goal kick, but in the fifa's game the player has to wait in the limit of the outside area to receive a short pass.

Some improvements for game mode

1-The game could allow to play the Champions League mode after the group stage, currently you have to play the entire championship, it could be more customisable mode, because sometimes we only want to play the knock out stage, for example.
The tournament mode in general could be more customisable, in the female tournament it should be possible to choose the number of teams and the same season of the year.
2 - It's about time to FIFA add women's football clubs, not only national teams, there is women's football in fifa since Fifa 16, four years later the game still don't have women's clubs, I'm having trouble to believe that in 4 years the game still wasn't able to negotiate licenses with the teams.

I wrote this as a letter to EA but i couldnt find an email to drop it in so I keep pasting it now in public forums hoping someone important might see and make some sense out of it.



Dear EA,

When FIFA 20 was released I couldn’t wait to have it. I live in Sierra Leone (a country not supported by Sony, meaning I can’t directly buy games on the PS store online with my credit card). This means every year when a game is released, I have to go through the arduously complicated process of contacting a very recalcitrant family member who lives in the United States to buy the disc at a store, and I have to pay about the same amount that the game costs for me to ship it here, and at the end of the day I always have to pay twice the cost of a game for me to get it. I’ve never had a problem with that because it is something I’m passionate about and I believe I’m getting my money’s worth.

Well until this year, with the release of FIFA 20 and I believe I again speak for millions of fans when I say, we had high expectations that weren’t met. While many others may have a variety of concerns, I want to focus this review on the career mode.

Because I live in Sierra Leone (already mentioned) I cannot purchase a PlayStation plus subscription for me to effectively play Ultimate Team which means I’m restricted to a limited few online modes. While I do play these sometimes, the key reason why I buy FIFA titles every year is to play the Career Mode. It’s the central focus for me, and I believe for the millions of fans in all those many countries not supported by Sony. There are millions of us.

The hype built around the release of FIFA 20 was centred on the “improvement of career mode” so you can imagine how jaded and disenchanted most of us felt when we saw that most of these “improvements” were simply cosmetics.

I don’t know how well you guys respond to feedback and I doubt I’m the first person to do this but I want to take my time to outline some of what I think fans would really want to see on Career Mode.

STATS
I really do think that the joy behind playing career mode is predominantly lies in stats. We all want to build up a player or a team from nothing to something formidable in the simulated world. We want to invite our friends over and show them our season in 2034 and how much we have accomplished over all the years. “Oh look, I bought Neymar for 160 Million in 2019, Since then he has bagged 550 goals and 200 assists” and I would pull up Mbappe’s profile with all these cool charts and numbers on a nice UI. I think it would be pretty awesome if player stats could be carefully analysed, game after game season after season. The current Premier League official app could be a good example of this.

Records
Records are a huge huge part of the footballing world. I’m talking about the data of every player since they became professional being put on display on the player profile. I’m not a game developer so I don’t know how hard this would be, but a ton of public websites already provide this information. It would be very nice if you could open a player’s profile and you’re able to see all the clubs he has been to, how much are or were his transfer fees, How many goals did he score when he was at this club or that club. Stuff like that.

The beauty of this is also that feeling we would get when we’re playing career mode and my player breaks Ronaldo’s goal scoring record and maybe there’s commentary or a made-up news article about a new world record. Or adding some more significance behind a promoting a team that has never been in the premier league finally making it there. Records dating back years ago to show that teams status would be an amazing addition.

The current display of our total accomplishments (whether as player or as manager) is also very boring. If it could be spiced up a little, with a bit more graphics, it would be nice. Which players have we bought over the years, when did we buy them? How much did we buy them? The simply display of such a listing can be very satisfying.

Other Leagues.
Career Mode has a potential to be a very immersive experience. Players would love to be able to explore other leagues in the game while playing their own league. And the other league’s player profile too. If I’m using Spurs and I am going up against Barcelona in an upcoming champions league match, I’d like to know if Messi has an injury beforehand. who have they bought? What the status of the squad that I will be facing? Have they played recent games? Are they tired? Its not just about gameplay that contribute to realism. All these small details contribute in making the game very real. So if I could be able to open other leagues and examine other teams and maybe view their line ups. Maybe see a player that I never thought of and then choose to scout him for more info. It would be great.

The same goes for transfers. It’s not just during the transfer season but at any given time during the season, I’d like to see what addition PSG may have made to their team while playing in the Prems. If there’s somewhere I could just go and be easily presented with this information that would be really awesome.

Better Updates:
One very annoying thing about playing Player Career mode is when your manager would make an addition to the team and you wouldn’t even know. No email updates, nothing. And the current news panel is way too limited to cover everything in the huge simulated world. You could be starting a match and then you’re shocked to see that you suddenly have Dybala on your line up. A heads up from the manager like “hey we just got Dybala on our team” would be nice.
Getting Updates on what is happening behind the scenes would also be good. And if it’s a little more dynamic too. Dramatizing when an AI manager loses his job. Who gets it after, shuffling AI managers would be a great addition.
The news Items are really kind of old too. It don’t even make me read any more


Other Matches.
You are a manager in Career mode and Real Madrid just kicked you out of Champions league in the semi-final. They are now going to play the final against Liverpool. The Final. A game that happens once a season and you want to watch it. You want to be there watching every action, cheering for Liverpool so the hateful Madrid would suffer just as you did when they knocked you out. Why not? Or the World Cup. Maybe I’m not managing an international team but I’m supporting one. Why cant I follow and watch their games? It would be a great addition. Also in Player Career. It is very unrealistic for a player to play several seasons and NEVER come on as a substitute. It’s flawed. It could be ideal if you could sit on the sidelines and watch the game, and then gain control when you come on as a substitute.

Trophy Celebration Scene.
I think this was one of my most frustration moments in FIFA 20 when I won my first trophy and the players start dancing the exact same chorography that they had been dancing for the past several FIFA titles. The same dancing around in a circle, lining up for the trophy, same scenes, same everything. After playing a whole league or going through a whole season, this is something that one would look forward to. It was have its own sense of achievement and satisfaction. The same thing repeating itself over and over again for several years now kinds of diminish the desire to keep playing. It would be great if you guys could mix it up a bit.
Also the Zoomed in scenes on players after fouls, Corners, Missed Shot, Saves, are kind of repetitive. It might be nice to get a few more. Crowd response has also been ignored for a while now. A little more dynamism would be great, Boos, Chants, Boycotting. etc

User Interface
Most players would agree with me that one of the main reasons for buying a new game of the same title is the expecting to see something entirely different from what you have already been playing a whole year. It was disappointing to see the exact same thing with the panels and everything just as it was in past titles. It would be great if that was also mixed up a little. Something entirely new, and entirely different every year. A total change from what youre already used to. The style of the news articles year after year has remained the same for far too long. The simulation view could be improved too and if you guys could make it possible to enter a game mid simulation. IDK. Just a thought

Editing
Career Mode is mostly an Offline Mode. You basically aren’t competing against anyone but the AI so it may be fair to give us some room for further editing of the simulated world. Kits for example can become very boring season after season. Sometimes the reason we abandon a career mode that we may have put so much effort in, to start a new one with a new team is simply because we are bored of seeing the same thing over and over again. Given the option to edit or create new kits would greatly improve the experience.
Also bringing a team from League 2 to the prems is a very enjoyable process. However, Playing at a town park stadium at Premier league level is a little tasteless. I think it would be nice to have a set up where we can upgrade editable stadiums. Even if we can’t touch the big ones like Old Trafford and Camp Nou. But I think these are things that Fans have been asking for years now. I don’t understand why it’s not happening. are there rights that would prevent someone editing Man Utd’s kit OFFLINE? For personal use? And for the love of God, please include Tattoos in Create a player?? It was there in the Alex Hunter mode, You guys practically dangled it right in front of our faces. why couldn’t you have just thrown it there?

Players are too Easy to get.
Transfers may come off as unrealistic as players are attainable entirely based on their transfer Value. You can easily get a Rival Club’s key player as long as you have the money which is not the case in real life. Dramatizing a club’s reluctance to sell because of various reasons would add to the storylines that we sometimes wish to create when playing career mode.
Also there’s this thing where you can get any player in the game for free, all you gave to do is wait until their contract is less than 6 Months. I noticed it in FIFA 18 and it has been present in both 19 and 20. Even if You want Mbappe from PSG, you can easily get him free. Just check every few months for the “Contract expiring in six months” status.


Honestly EA, I love this game, I have soul and passion for it but , there’s a whole lot of people across the world who pay good money for FIFA and solely focus on Career Mode. Theres so much more Points that would usually occur to me sometimes while playing the game that I’m not thinking of it now. I’m typing this at 3AM in the morning man. Usually I wake up now and I don’t have work on my table, I would be playing my FIFA. But I haven’t played it in several weeks now. Mostly because I know there’s absolutely little or nothing new in there for me.

I dont know whether writing this was a complete waste of time but I really hope you guys would read this and consider these points I have made when creating the next Title. I look forward to it.

EA this game is trash you completely screwed headers I head the ball on an open net and I miss passes don't go where you want them to and you have to take away kick off every game I work my butt off to score a goal and then my aponent scores kick off right away I finished 6-7 just from a kick off battle and please we need more servers I have great internet but your servers keep screwing me.

Your passing system is a joke, every time I pass to one player it goes to a different direction. It is clear that the fifa doesn't actually pay attention to their feedback because this has been a problem for years. Fix your game

Fifa is smashing it with the card designs this year, but whenever your team goes ahead your players just stop playing almost and let the opposition score and tackle you on the counter attack and your striker never makes a run...

There are lots of people on this forum complaining. It’s quite obvious you’re just not good at the game. Stop blaming everything but yourselves for losing matches. If there really is online DDA (not denying it) just learn to ride it out. I recommend keeping the ball, it’s not that hard to do even under poor gameplay conditions.

Admittedly though occasionally the servers are rubbish and online gameplay is a bit pants. Other than that, I don’t really see the problems that you’re all going on about regarding FUT are that big of a deal. I certainly don’t see it that way anyway.

Very disappointedt with fifa 20. Editing players is just impossible with all the sub menus you have to go through , plus every time I edit a player it brings me back to main menu meaning I have to go back find the league , team and player .. like what's this EA ? Not sure what you have done to this latest patch but the game play feels alot slower then before, passing is like it's in slow motion, players taking like 3 years to react and I'm literally losing to players i should be beating because of it, the game was fine the way it was before and you have to literally be 1 of the worst companies in the world as you only care about your money and not actual people playing the game, it's funny as yout quick enough to ban people for buying coins as it's an unfair advantage but so is buying fifa points an unfair advantage it just proves your greed. Your literally going downhill and this is by far the worst fifa ever made.

Yeah this game is literally impossible. I dont know what they did, I thought it was just me but playing against Barcelona or Atletico Madrid is so incredibly difficult. I lost 5-0 against Atletico twice(: my defense is so s***, the computer is godlike. When the keeper comes out and theres a defender still left behind at the goal, it's impossible that when my midfielder pass the ball to my attacker and he scores, then it's impossible that such goals are rejected because of the offside rule. Please fix this issue.

For starters I have to say this is unbelievably the worst FIFA ever made, your greed has gone beyond measure. FUT is a massive money racket. You support streamers who advertise and buy FIFA coins off websites but ban others for doing it. I personally never have but I just think it's a good example of the greed. The mechanics are just broken, cant score headers, corners are pointless, goalkeepers are OP, long shots are impossible to score now. The latest patch said you decreased the errors in 20 yards so you do not hit the post as often, that genuinely has to be a joke because I have hit more posts and crossbars than the entire of season one since the last patch. Lazy development, greed and overuse of scripting and then having the cheek to insult your players by saying there is no scripting. A bloody disgrace is all this game is, also the tactics in game are broken. I could playing against someone who has a 78 rated squad and all they have to do it put on some tactic they saw on a YouTube video and my players turn super lazy while their players are first to every ball, walk out of clean tackles with the ball, pounce on my players before they can take touch and run my lazy team ragged. Then they run out of stamina and continue to do it, no injuries or anything, how is that fair. Why should someone else changing their tactics obviously effect my players and their workrates and why is stamina not important. I personally guarantee that if next year's this FIFA continues like this that you will destroy your franchise, I have never seen so many unhappy players.

She Fifa has been playing fifa since playing Zinedin Zidane at Real Madrid, which means she has been playing fifa for about 16 years. You managed to ruin the most beautiful game for boys. I have never met a game as ugly as this 2020 game. You have ruined everything. I can't imagine how an attacker passes so easily through the line of defenders. At the penalty is inadmissible playing with a 2 players to see the player near me the arrow where I beat the penalty. I repeat the attackers go through the cheese of defenders. The phases of 1 2 can no longer be linked as before. The steps do not always get where they need to be. I reach the opponent. A big mistake. Free kicks are dust. STOP interfering with the game and get it back to where when you were actually good you'd go unbeaten a while. It's sad to see you taking advantage of us loyal players.
