for the skill section thing at the start and when youre loading have like options so that u can put defenders in sorta like a training thing so u can poroperly practise things!

i would just like to ask 4 things

1. have a mode like be a pro, but like the madden games, were u have your agent, and a house that matches your pay rate, with messages from team mates and coches, so on
2. traning sessions playable and skippable
3. more interaction with crowd when goal is scored
4.have a mode were u just coach, from the sideline, and watch the game from the coaches point of view, on the sideline, making desisions from there, and walking up and down the lines, GTA camera style



please take these into consideration, these will make this game possiblyy the best of all time!!!!

I thought FIFA 08 was good but it was annoying playing in the EPL when such teams as Manchester City and West Ham have the asact same STADIUM! I think it is called the "estadio de las artez" or something. When will u ever see that big european/asian stadium in england!? It should be a sqaure style stadium. And the crowd should be more into the game and sound different depending on what is happening on the field.
Gameplay should be faster. The crowd should wear home team colours and have flags.

Make it possible to play as the keeper in Be A Pro.

Different drop-kicks for the keepers - irritating when players like Pato from Getafe and Pepe Reina has the ability and technique in real life to put the ball whereever they want to from a drop-kick and the can't even kick over the middle of the pitch.

Different glove brands like with the boots. Make Cech wear Adidas, Casillas wear Reebok, Buffon wear Puma and Gregory Coupet wear Uhlsport.

Make Celebrtions more realistic Eg: make them jump the Advertising board.
Also make players not want to play for your club if you refuse to sell them, be able to fine players if they get banned. have a reserve team if players play bad make them able to be dropped.
keep all the same leagues but make other leagues like leeser none leagues but dont make them playable so you can still buy players from them.
make the ball more curveable when you cross from outside the box let him curl it into the area so headers can be put it. Make a more in-depth transfer system, EG swap deals, payments after appearences, buy out clasues say the player will only sign a contract if the have a $20mil buy out clause, and loan for loan be able to swap players only for loan. that would be sweet

I think that you should be able to play as the ref. You know make calls like e.g. weather it's a foul or not, offside, hand out bookings/red cards, give free kicks and award penalties. More less make all the decisions that the ref would make. Also make this be playable in multi player mode. Thanks

Back to basic, dont overcomplicate things!!

Just polished up everything in Fifa 08 and authenticate things like sponsors, atmosphere, stadiums, etc etc. Would be nice to see a few updates to bring the players in the game on par with their counter parts.

please could you include more tv style and broadcast views/angles in FIFA09 (ps3) please. I was watching the footie on the tele yesterday and noticed that the tele camera view on fifa 08 is compleatley different from the camera view on tv. It would be great if you could include a wider range of broadcast camera angles in FIFA09 with options to tweak them.i.e. make them higher and lower, zoom in and out and change the pan and swing.
FIFA08 is a massive improvement, but with this simple suggestion, FIFA09's overall presentation would be massively improved!

make the transfers in manager mode more international. alla the available transfer targets are from the same league. let the ai make transfers too. big clubs should sign big players. sshow top 5 transfers when the window is shut.

passing sometimes it goes to someone i dont want it to go to so passing should improve also online when playing someone u get tackled but ref plays advantage when there really is no advantage as theres no one around u to pass to

I feel that there should be shoe updates. Also when you create a player there should be WAY more options ex: tattoos,bands,headbands. You should also be able to go through his career untill he's the greatest. And when you win a cup, can you at least make it so you can see the trophy?!

Fifa 09 MUST:
1)develop a grreater sense of atmosphere via the crowd. A more comprehensive and varied selection of famous club songs, taunts and chants, including player songs that are activated following a trick, or goal attempt or save by the said player.
2)The shooting OBVIOUSLY must be changed as it is non-intuitive as players sometimes use, say the left foot to shoot what is 10 out of ten times a right footed shot andon one-on-ones they shoot in different directions than intended.The long-range shooting from Fifa 07 was better though, the 08 version does'nt seem to really pack a punch.
3)Advanced set piece options and creativity.
4)PLEASE could EA sports update player models?hairstyles/headbands(ronaldinho,perhaps?) and stats to match current football and send them as a DOWNLOADABLE PATCH off the Playstation network?It sucks BIG-TIME when a player like Adebayor or Torres is rubbish because the game is made a year before!!

there should be:

- Camera angles that are similar to live broadcasts ie SkySports
- Have a compilation of all the best goals, tackles, saves, bloopers of the season and be able to view the best goals you have scored.
- Have better jostling and be able to hold the ball with different players strength and ability
- Better crowd, and accurate chants
- More stadiums with better tunnels
- Better transfer market, with news headlines of rival clubs wanting to buy same player
- Training games with youth or reserves at the academy
- more pre game commentary, analysis, and more commentators
- weather can change from sunny to rainy mid game and commentators talk about it
- rivalries can be created between players and they remember what has happened in previous games
- better cup runs with under dogs and big finale
- manager on sideline and more close ups of players if they are fouled, goal, miss the shot in frustration.

Have Players warming up on the sidelines and be able to see them. Get all the nationalities like in euro and world cup games.

you definitely need to have a game mode like they have in madden where you can use a player n have him start from the very beginning of his career n watch him grow up to be a superstar..kind of like start from the beginning and watch his whole journey being a young prospect trying to make it in futbal. for instance, if hes portuguese, u can start from him workin his way up from the streets of portugal to being noticed n working his way up from ther, or even starting from small teams in portugal n working his way up to becoming another superstar. also something like nba street did it b4, with the created player n following him on his journey.
include their agents, endorsements, coaches, n everything that comes along the way to becoming futbols biggest superstar like ronaldo has become all the way from his small beginnings in madeira.

i dont feel u need to put all these rele small leagues like some people are saying like second division leagues for leagues that are already not strong as it is...

I think that it should have more updated leagues make the players more realistic....for example don't make David beckham have an afro....and allow players to switch nationality.........also have a let there be manager mode for international thanks

this is juat one thing, but i think in every league, u should be able to put all the players in a pool, and have a fantasy draft like in madden, and nba live. but alos more national teams, meaning more african and asian teams. deffinetly a free kick training mode that lets u use a wall and stuff like that

ea sports should make a fifa where you can have a life on the pitch and off e.g training in the week and afta training go home , buy houses car get girlfriends go for meals and pubs, and creat a be a pro league were u are a single player playing for a confrence team and other clubs start geting intrested in you by hw many points you get and could bid for you in the transfer window and you can sighn a contract.. wat ya sayin ea, stop mekin the same game year in and year out

It should have as many leagues as possible especially from south america, seeing as there's actually only a few. Also I think some national selections deserve to be included. I think that the AI of the computer team should be greater and that the skills in gameplay coincide with both the skills in paper and morale.

More editing options,bigger selection of licensed boots,puma adidas,nike..etc..THERE SHOULD BE A VISIBLE REFEREE AND LINESMAN..VISBLE DUG OUT SUBS AND STAFF..WEATHER OPTIONS..MUD AND STAINS ON SOCKS AND JERSEYS..GLOVES WHEN NESCCARY,SEASONAL..WHEN CONDITIONS ARE COLD..ABLE TO SEE HOT BREATHE..ALL THESE SMALL THINGS MAKE THE GAME MORE REALISTIC.

I really think that creating your own team and getting to put in a secondary league and working up from there would be real great. also have a little more variation on how goals are scored. I know that if you get in certain areas with the ball and strike it, the ball goes in and it looks like crap. lofted through balls need to be brought back and more instant red cards I am so tired of getting hacked and then not being able to bury the free kick and the opposition getting away with a yellow or warning. I also like the pro mode and think you should be able to creat yourself and play on line and get signed with online teams and stuff.

showing the players in the dressing rooms minutes before they enter the field could be something great too, showing the inner instalations of the stadium, come on ea, I know your technology is very advanced, make these game terrific, you can make it look very real I know it.

There should be a trainning mode were you could do every single thing profesionals do, for example make the players jog as warm up, making them run alot as physical trainning, alot of tactic work showing the coach talking to the players, the players should have the trainning uniforms instead of the game jerseys, when you practice free kicks, the wall should be the fake ones, like the ones you buy and move wherever you want instead of just being players, for manager mode press conferences would be great so the sensation could be more real, signing autographs, in be a pro mode you should also do a career with your player, having his house like nba live 06, having contracts etc.

In penalty shootout it should be more supensful and euphoric, It would be awesome if you could fake the shot like for example before kicking the ball you stop and then kick it like cristiano ronaldo does.

i think you guys should do the custom celebrations, more boots...and for the international teams.... and put all the south american teams like the old fifa's...its makes it so much cooler....uh and make the manager mode more interactive just like in real life. oh and i thought the reffs would be in fifa 08....please put them in, it would make it so much more real...and the free kicks...more controlling like fifa 05....thank you

my idea was that each region has it own fifa like the benelux and at fifa 09 Benelux version there should be the second division of belgium and the netherlands and the first division of luxembourg
also realistic public like at chelsea-liverpool a lot of blue and a bit red flags and stuff in a corner of the stadium

Ok, forget all the "I want more shoes" comments, go pick up a JJB catalogue if you're so inclined. This is a football game first an foremost, i dont care about players having lives off the field. And forget "i want the champions league/world cup/Euros" because it just isnt going to happen, contractually or fiscally.

As for what should be in, up the pace a little. Not PES speed, but quicker than 08 speed. Euro 2008 was pretty good. And when defenders get beat, they should stay beat unless their stats say otherwise. Once Henry or Torres run past a defender with a paltry 70 for speed, i dont expect to see him hot on my heels.

The AI of my teammates needs tweaking. There's just no urgency in the attack, and it doesnt seem to matter what you do to the formation it doesn't happen. I want more inteligent runs from my teammates, and when im counter attacking and sprinting down the field, i want my team mates to bust a gut sprinting down field too. In real life if Ronaldo is on the counter you dont see rooney jogging along to help. Counter attacks need to be better.

Through balls. On the ground they rarely work unless the player receiving the ball is in miles of space and lofted balls go straight to the keeper most of the time. Unless you're playing a one-two and the AI is playing the return pass, which is usually a blinding through ball. The balance needs addressing.

On rails movement. When a player is running for a through ball but its about to be intercepted i want the option to take control of the player to pick up the ball earlier. In PES they have the "Super Cancel" move, which although it has a stupid name is actually very useful, not justy for through balls, but letting a ball go out of play, even adjusting a players run so he comes at the ball from his strong foot not his weak foot.

Weaker foot. Every football game decides whether a player shoots with his strong or weak foot. Im sorry, i want that to be MY decision. there should be a shoulder button assigned for shooting which makes my player use his weaker foot. Unless that button is pressed he should always shoot with his stronger foot. If my right footed striker makes a diagonal forward run onto a through ball from the right side over towards the left i might want him to shoot first time with his right, poking the ball over the advancing keeper. If he picks up the ball on the wing and cuts inside running parallel to the goal i might want him to shoot outside of his right foot to curl towards the far corner. I want the choice which foot they use, so when a shot gets missed because they used their weaker foot, it was because of my decision, not bad AI.

Ai players on rails. When you harass a opposition player using X for example on the PS3, they have a strange habit of running from side to side, parallel to the goals. have you ever seen a player do this in real life? Run in a perfect straight line side to side? They dont, if they're under pressure they simply pass the ball back to another player. It just looks odd to watch.

I know it was a feature in Euro 2008 but please, we dont want to see shots of the manager on the sidelines. Stick to the game, that means no Avram "Zombie" Grant shots please.

Commentary. Much improved and better than PES 2009, which just recycled PES 6 but had a different commentator (seriously PES if you're going to go to the trouble of recording it all again with new commentators i want to hear new lines). It's still not perfect though. My suggestion is get the commentators you want into a recording session (not Andy Townsend please, he's hopeless) and get them to actually commentate on a few games of Fifa 09. They can react to what they see on screen and you can get an idea of how it should flow. You can use some of what they say thrown in with structured comments to make it solid. At the moment it still feels too scripted, like they're reading liners from a bit of paper instead of commenting on what they've just seen. Get rid of some of the unimportant features (lounge can go, boot edit etc) and double the ampount of commentary line you have and their triggers. Comments linked to statisticvs like possesion, shots, passes. if my pass percentage is under 50 i want to hear comments about giving the ball away cheaply. The more lines you have the more accurate it can be. too often i hear comments at halftime about it being a close game, both teams having chances and anyone could win it even though im 3-0 up and the opposition haven't managed a shot at goal. Get the commentary right and it feels like a game, and thats the most important thing.
