Player auto growth based on seasonal performance with the ability for ratings to fall as well as rise.

eg. Roque Santa Cruz rated at 78, after this current season it would read more like 83

however, Alfonso Alves rated 82, had a bit of a nightmare at Boro in his first season so he would drop to say 75, but there is no reason why in the following season he couldnt retain his top rating if he does well.

It could be based on games played, goals scored/ conceded, tackles, shot accuracy etc etc. depending on positon. Stats should ammend after each game based on an individual performance, which also makes a window for player form guides.
Making the game less predictable.

The Ability to buy a "dud" in the transfer market.... as not all players are cut out for the big leagues, or as "managers" in the game, do we want/have the patience to help this talent adapt, or fall flat on our faces.

You should put the "FAI Cup" and "The Eircom League Cup", when managing in The Eirom League. Fifa 08 introduced the Eirco League for the first time in their game but you can only win 1 competition - which is the League. Please put "The FAI Cup" and "The Eircom League Cup" in Fifa 09 when managing in The Eircom League.

You should also be able to qualify for the "Champions League & Uefa Cup when managing in "The Eircom League"

Another aspect which mentioned through the ideas is that when they win things like the fa cup etc and it is at wembley there should have them going up the stairs getting their medals etc, waving the cup above there heads or what ever they do now, because this is an image on british football that we all have seen and remembered. Maybe even at the end of a season to show animations of the coach the players and the manager driving towards their home ground.

RUSSIAN LEAGUE

Fifa football games have got much better through the years. I think euro 08 had a real nice touch with the water droplets on the camera and the fuzziness around the edges. Also one aspect they have not captured in the fifa games is the managers which was shown again in euro 08. Which if you think about it is more important to show in the fifa games as in the national newspapers there are reports about them as much as the major players. Plus as fifa have all the rights with the team names and players this would a nice touch to have animation and views of the manager’s reactions as you play your favourite team. In the game “grid” from code masters there is a rewind function where you have 3 to 5 rewinds, depending on the settings of difficulties, to rewind if you crash or total your car, instead of starting the whole race again. This is a good way of learning to play the game eventually at a higher level. Maybe this could be a function in the fifa game to teach the player the mistakes in the movement of their players in the attack or defence positions in the game, e.g. the other side gaining a goal or a free kick in there area. Also when doing free kicks it is so hard to judge the height and power of the kick so this could be a way of teaching the player. I like the idea of being able to change and deicide how to celebrate after a goal but it would better if was more realistic moves and animations, they are still quite robotic. I think one way of making the game more realistic is similar to the game “Sega Rally”, ground deformation, When playing football the pitches don’t really change other than a bit of texture mapping, so have you considered being able to show continuous deformation in the pitches on wet and snow conditions, if the player decides to slide tackle all the time this will make the pitch uneven, loss of ball control. Also visually wise, on the player mud, injuries to be shown. I have other ideas but I don’t know if there will be anyone really reading this or taking any notice.

Has manager mode been improved (transfers between AI clubs, finances etc) for next gen 09?

It was really annoying while playing with Leeds UTD, to hear the commentators saying how Leeds threw everything away trying to compete with the bigger clubs. In the first season i thought ok well thats quite clever and up to date, after 12 seasons of winning everything and having the best players on the game,,,, it's not. If your going to add these little extras then at least turn them off after a couple of seasons!

1) As a Newcastle fan i play with them most, and notice that on previous Fifa 07/08 games that whenever Obafemi Martins has the ball, the commentators say 'Geremi'. This only happens when both players are on the pitch at the same time, but does start to get a bit annoying when you start to put a few passes together between Martins & Geremi!

IVE LIKED SOME OF THE OTHER COMMENTS (SOME ARE CHEESY THOUGH) ;)

1. Use animatics instead of cut scenes, this would look awesome and add to the realism.

2. Have different animations for the fans in the crowd, instead of them all moving at the same time. eg. showing a fan swing his fist in fustration if the away team score.

3. Make the commentators know your season, ie, if rooney scores a hatrick at Old Trafford against Newcastle, in the away game at St James park when Rooney is on the ball Martin Tylor could say 'he scored a terrific hatrick at Old Trafford'. then Andy Grey could say 'yes he was lethal Martin, he'll be hoping to wreak havoc against them again today. Also i feel the Commentary in Cup finals is very disappointing in Fifa 08, if a team is losing by 1 goal late in the game, the Commentators should say how the losing team is desperate to get a goal to take it into extra time, and Martin and Andy could have a quick discussion on how the game has developed, ie. talk about the tactics that both teams have done in the game, ie. the formations, substitutions, etc..

4. Use the Photo game face technology which Tiger Woods 08 uses. If this could be implemented in Fifa, it would be incredible.

5. Have the FA Cup and English Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

6. Have EEC matches played at Night and have the final played at a Neutral venue in Europe.

7. Give the Option to save Goal Replays to the HDD on NG Consoles.

8. Make top class players have the ability to put greater dip and swerve on the ball. In real life, David Beckhams free kick against Greece for example was brilliant. if this was possible in Fifa it would be awesome.

9. Make the passing faster, in Fifa 08 its hard to do classy quick intricate play because of the slow passing, other team players get in the way or intercept the ball.

10. Have a lot more Advertising boards at the Stadium, i think this would increase the realism of the game and give each Stadium more indviduality.

make crowd more realistic(make them jump around like maniacs hen you score against your rival, make them run on the pitch on the last game of the season, when losing in 90 minutes show up the fans leaving the stadium).

Build our own stadium in manager mode.

put more leagues in so you can get the conference.

Be able to jump into the crowd and suffer the consequences when you score.

5.Why did the international friendlies stoppped...meaning why did they do away with call ups during the manager mode...thats was really realstic
6. add real tournaments like libertadores and copa america,oro, and confederaions cup too. they have UEFA and Champions league..its only fair

i am a fifa game fan ,but the thing is really hurts me is that ,at fifa games you donot see anymore lots of teams from 3 world countries ,specially the teams that almost they make to the world cups ,like Iran from Asia ,why not those teams ,the best fifa game was the one from i guess 98 that road to world cup ,so you could manage your team from first steps of the qualification round to world cup.,,i donot know which teams are in 09 but i hope i can see my team there .

there should be two season modes, the first the same as always, manager mode, but the second should be a be a pro mode where you first have to start off at a low team, maybe even a sunday league team, and you have to work your way up to the top by playing games and earning skill points as you go along, the better you perform the more interest higher teams have for you, and they should make offers for you and you should be able to choose which team to transfer to and then play for them by first earning your way into the team by performing well in training. such as man u you would have to perform better than carrick in training to take his position. i also agree with being able to put your own face onto a player by the camera as it would be good to play your friends online, scoring against them and they can actually see you celebrating infront of their screens on the pitch. being able to use your career team online would also be a good idea and i would buy the game straight away for this. players in the championship such as michael kightly should have a rating the same as players in the premiership as they are more talented than what the game givs them just for being in the championship. also more stadiums should be created such as molineux. fifa need to take all of these ideas into place as to compete with the more advancing pro evolution soccer, because if they dont people will be buying pes instaed of fifa! oh ye and ea need to defo bring an f1 game out on the xbox 360 cuz f1 is minted and sucks that its not out on xbox sound x
