Your Ideas for FIFA 09

Actually training your players in manager mode and if done you can train in different arenas. And sometimes make it snow depending on the country (ex: in brazil its not cold). Fights can break out. Different ball sizes. More varied celebrations. The second irish league. The manager screams at the players if they're not permforming well. Old players can be bought (like: George Best, Pele, Bergkamp etc..). Mini games. Make the cover more interesting with different players on it (in north america the cover is lame) and if you don't have any ideas put old retired players.

Coming from someone who's been playing since the Nintendo 64. Here's my opinion cause it seems like most people here just care about the big leagues and don't care about anything else.

I personally would love to see the Croatian league, since it's my ethnicity, but I won't be biased like these other pigs.

Some errors to be fixed includes commentaries, there are always problems with that.

- Please add the City of Manchester Stadium. Or better yet, all Premier League stadiums.
- add more national teams. Canada, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Trinidad and Tobago, Chile, Colombia, Estonia, Jamaica, United Arab Emirates and Japan.
- Include the World Cup!
- Career Mode!
- Argentine Primera Division, Brazil Serie B, South African PSL, Romanian Liga 1 and J-League.

My Ideas:
1. More stadiums for the premiership teams as it is the very best league.
2. Manage international teams
3. more realistic transfer system eg. authentic contracts
4. should be able to create your own stadium
and make more realistic shooting.

Include worldcup in manager mode where you can manage international team.

Add all the old retired players as buyable players in the fan shop and once bought is put on the team he last played for.

And I mean players like Bergkamp,Maradona,Pele,Puskas,Neeskens,Cruijff, etc...

things that would improve fifa 09
1. more stadiums from all around the world
2. make the players more realistic
3. the goalkeepers should were their rael gloves ex. addidas, nike and more not just black or black and white
4. we should see the substite bench and the maneger next to the game field
5. celebrations more realistic

I would say that one of the improvements that should be made is that we actual train our players in manager mode instead of simulating the training. One more thing is that we should have the actual youth members, for example Danny Welback is man utd youth member. He should be present in the Youth Squad option not some random soccer guy. Thanks

IN Fifa 08 you should be able to make a league and either create teams or invite teams such as real madrid or manchester united to play in and also to be able to play in manager mode

i think that in manager mode you should have reserve teams and reserve matches and under 18 teams and under 18 matches

Keep the Australian "A-League".
Also, next season, Australia will be starting a woman's A-League, with all the players from the national team. Perhaps you can put some international woman teams in there, and maybe the A-League (I think it's the only woman's league around. I'm probably wrong).

However, it might be hard to manufacture the player templates, with the breasts and feminine features and all. Just an idea though. Possibly for 2010?

On Manager mode you can manage Countries and take them to World Cup, Euro, Asia etc.

Bring back Indoor was great on FIFA 97.

Keep the Hyundai A-League on FIFA.

The official rights of all players and clubs must stay and not be given to Konami.

The free kicks on the PS3 should be like the PS2 version of FIFA 08.

the ball should stop in the rain due to the puddles, should be mud patches on the training grounds in wet conditions. The should be hot conditions and players can tire out more especially in Australia and there should be drink breaks.

There should also be Serie C1/A and Serie C1/B.

Maradona and Pele' should be in the Classic XI.

For manager mode their should be Press Conferences with Players and Coaches. Also their should be like Real Life managers to choose from like Carlo Ancelotti, Marcello Lippi, Jose Mourinho, Sir Alex Ferguson etc.

The manager mode is great the way it is just needs the press conferences and you get a choice to be the real life manager of your favourite club like AC Milan and be Carlo Ancelotti or make yourself as manager. Each club should have their own real life managers and there should be sackings of coaches when they aren't doing well with their club. Their should also be assistant coaches. There can be coaches on the transfer market. Coaches coaching clubs when doing well can coach their country in the International Cup/Qualifiers and Euro, Copa America, Asian Cup etc.

There should be World Cup, Euro Qualifiers etc and players get called up and there are International breaks during manager mode. There should be a world cup, euro, asia break. The International matches should be displayed on the calendar when there is one coming up.

The Club World Cup should be on manager mode as well once you win the Champions League.

the argentinean league, please add it, also to see the ref in the game, and an indoor soccer option would be nice too, lets say a 5 vs 5m something like Fifa Street

I think adding secondary leagues like people have suggested (Scottish, and other UK countries) out of it and start concentrating on adding a wider variety internationally, both with clubs and national teams. Greek Super League, Russian, Argentinian etc... The game is FIFA, not UK Football 09.
Refs would be a nice addition, as well as a wider variety of stadiums. There are plenty of big name stadiums world wide that have hosted big matches and continue to do so. We dont need to see Div 3 English dust bowls instead of great stadiums in Greece, Australia, South America, etc.
Another good thing would be to have constant updates online (PS3, X360 and PC) with up to date real life transfers, kit updates and injuries.
Forget small things people have posted and just add the things most needed. For the love of god we dont need to see 3rd rate Scottish teams.

i think one of many improvements to work on for next game has to be the ability to get called up for the England job. I think this would really make Fifa the most in-depth and advanced football game. This is definetly the most important aspect..

2. More realism in the celebrations when you win a trophy.
3. get john motson off the commentry. (he is rubbish)

First of all I would like to say hello. Ok, as we all know Fifa 08 was a great game but could still use some improvements. Here is what should happen in 'Fifa 09'.
1. More realistic gameplay.
2. Referee and linesman acually seen in gameplay.
3. Before and after the match you should be able to deal with the press.
4. The option of building your own stadium in 'Edit Mode'.
5. In 'Manager Mode' be able to plan training sessions.
6. Add more 'Skill Moves' to the game.
7. Have more leauges and teams to choose from.
8. In manager mode be able to create the manager and witness him on the side lines at sudden points.
9. Add more stadiums to play in.
10. Many more weather choices.
11. Have more 3rd kits to buy and choose from.
12. To have the option in 'Manager Mode' to be able to choose a sponsor and have it shown on your kit.
13. To be able to create teams and kits.
14. Have the option to go through 'Manager Mode' with 'Be A Pro Mode'.
15. Kits get naturally dirty over process on time in game.
16. Many more good music trax in game.

the commentary is stuffed! If the ball goes out for a goal kick, they say "thats a fantastic save by the goal keeper", or "The goalkeeper just gets a hand to that"

Also, there needs to be more injuries on FIFA 09. I have played 3 seasons with Liverpool and only had 1 substansial injury to Gerrard for 6 months - that is so unrealistic.... look at Liverpool at the moment! Agger, Alonso, Pennant. Other teams like Manchester United, Chelsea and, Fulham, Newcastle United and West Ham have 5 or 6 or 7 players potentially on their first team (or at least reserves) injured medium to long-term.

Please make more injuries and more challenges to Manager Mode.

Also, players should be able to walk out on the club if you don't play them. For Liverpool, I bought someone and i have played him 3 times in 2 seasons! Yet i am still able to renew his contract for less money every time.
Even if he still has 3 years left, he should be able to demand to be traded or have the option of walking out.

fifa 08 is fantastic in itself. its the best football game out there but there are still some improvements that would be welcome on the next gen versions of fifa 09.
the improvements i would like to see are:-
1. referees and linesmen during actual gameplay
2. loads more stadiums
3. even better career mode
• with the ability toarrange pre season matches or tournaments
• create or customise kits
• have the chosen sponsor's logo on the kit
• have more to do than just play matches and buy players. eg. Organize training sessions and a youth team system
• have more important decisions to make eg. deciding whether players can go on international duty - basically, have more influence and responsibility towards how your club is run. more challenges
• the ability to build your own stadium. this would be a nice touch to the career even though its not that important
• the ability to know more about teams in other leagues and other managers
• an option to have access to the transfer market at all times even if you can only buy players in the transfer period. it would be nice to shortlist the players that you want before the transfer period opens
4. more international teams - especially african teams like Ghana, Ivory Coast etc. and more african clubs teams
5. more 3rd kits
6. weather effects eg. rain, wind, overcast, and even snow. kits getting dirty over the course of the game
7. more realistic animations, injuries (applies 2 goalies also), and celebrations
8. more players looking like their real life counterparts
9. more creation options
10. more unlockable boots
11. the introduction of classic teams. like in fifa 2000, where there were loads of classic club and international teams
12. less repetitive commentary, even though it is 1st class as it is now
13. even more skill moves
14. a 2 player arena mode like in nba 08
15. better in game tactics eg. counter attack, players switching flanks and switching formations on the fly
16. someone other than ronaldinho and rooney on the cover. Possibly, christiano ronaldo and Michael essian, or a choice of kaka, messi, drogba, benzema, gerrard and other top players in the world.
I hope these suggestions will be considered and implemented into fifa 09. thanks and good luck making fifa 09.

i would like to see at least the top two teams of every league, but most preferably Atletico Nacional from Colombia who have been in several International Cups over the last few years but hasnt made it in to the game yet.

add every single staduim in the premier league into the new fifa and make the riverside a staduim for middlesbrough and make in manager mode to be able to take your club to the world cup (internationals)

add the riverside in to fifa 09 and make different commotators for different leages and you should be able to manage internationals on manage mode so you can take your nationality to the world cup.please add these on fifa for ps3.

I think you should focus on developing this aspect further... add like contracts and personal agents and so on and a transfer system of a kind to make it more exciting to improve your skills... I Reckon u should take out the coca cola 2 championship thing in england and put in other leagues like the ukrainian, russian, croatian and argentinian. more international teams And In manager mode you should be able to manage an international team and the last thing is maybe you should put in a be a pro season.
