Your Ideas for FIFA 09

i think there should be more involment in international level.such as when you are playing manager mode you are controling a club and when your managerlevel rises you should be getting offers from international teams asking to manage their side for international clashes .like there are instances where your players are selected to represent their country in fifa 08 and 07.so what i am telling is if you are selected for managing the international teams they will also have to give you a contract examle 2 seasons.so when you are selected you will miss some matches of the your club 2or 3.and this should happen at least 2or 3 times a season if you are selected that is.and also it shoudnt be easy to get selected to manage the international sides.like you have to play most of the matches rather than doing quick sim.so i hope you will consider my ideas i dont know how much possible my ideas are.but any ways i think FIFA 09 will be one of the best in pc gaming.and i would be glad if you can enter my ideas into the game and make it hard to play at intenational level and no quick sim .Thank you.

To be able to see the manager and have a career mode when u creat a player and play him kind of like in mlb the show. Also lets see the reef and the linesman. Let us desighn a team and stadium. Make the player face alot more realistic. Also let their be player partys after the game

you could add the croatia league or at least best 3-4 clubs from croatia,work on the graphic(pes 2008) and you should add patches to download(new kits,transfers,boots,stadiums....)

My only suggestion is that if FIFA and EA are willing to include new leagues into the game like the A-League recently included in 08, they should have the stadiums to go along with the league. It doesnt make sense to not.

i also think that championship teams and leage 1 teams should have official grounds like elland road the city ground and the keepmoat also they should have grounds like goodison park and the city of manchester pleas add this !

In Manager Mode, when you wanna buy a certain player you should be able to offer another player in exchange (plus an ammount of money of course) for the one you are trying to buy, also you should receive offers to manage other clubs, the youth academy needs to be more realistic for example you should only get players from the nationality of the club you are managing, top clubs should get better youth players while the others get only average ones and maybe a crack every now and then. And when scouting for youth players in other countries you should be able to hire them and put em either in your first team or in the youth academy to continue improving.
Also top clubs should always be on top of their leagues, after a couple of seasons tournaments like the chapions league are full of sucky teams.
And please add the argentina league and more teams from latin america like the clubs that participate in copa libertadores or copa sudamericana (you should also add those tournaments).

also it would be nice to play champion league and uefa cup from tournament mode. the gameplay is fine the details too leave it as is or it will be too much (gta san andreas is a great examle) speaking of gameplay in fifa 07 08 its alittle too hard to score in world class difficulty while in others the opponents attack i way too weak they never score i think the perfect gameplay was in fifa 2005 but in 08 its good too....like i said most important mistake is the absense of russian premier league and 1st division as well as greek and argentina's top divisions....cska moscow won the uefa cup not long ago how could they not be in the game? plus i remember panathinaikos being in all the fifa games so how come it's left out in 08?

plus when i unlock the legends team with old school players in it i was really glad to see hadji, foller, ziko in it but how come no zidane? maradona? pele? platini? milla? batistuta? cubillas?

CAN YOU PLEASE INCLUDE THE RUSSIAN PREMIER LEAGUE? i mean it's just not fair....its one of the strongest leagues in europe now (defenetly in top 10), but yet u dont have it in the game.... every version of fifa brings disapointment with it because of that.... and in the same time leagues from countries like korea, norway, sweden, australia, usa, poland, ireland, austria, czech republic, etc. are included but now russian league? same goes for countries like argentina, greece, romania, ukraine....i mean...clubs like cska moscow, panathinaikos, independiente, iraklis, steaua, dinamo kiev, dinamo bucharest, shaktar, zenit, Etoile du Sahel, al-ahly, aris, lokomotiv are not included? it's a great game and it would be perfect if u would fix that...additionaly, international teams....hungary, china, new zealand, n. ireland, but no ghana, senegal, cote d'ivoire, egypt, colombia, chile, peru, japan? that kind of shocks me...i remember in fifa 2002 almost all the national teams in the world were there... that's a step back...plus it would be great if in manager mode the income to the budget was a little bit more and faster and the clubs didnt ask such a huge amount of money for players.... i mean it says 1 000 000 for a player and u end up having to pay 1 500 000....plus the staff upgrades are way too expensive...and it would be cool to have a career of more than 15 seasons and to be able to train ur team with out wearing them out completely...please take in consideration...1 last thing....the french nacional (3rd division) please.....but most importantly russian league that would make fifa 09 the best video game of all time

More authentic Stadiums and fans are my only real wish for fifa 09, being a Man City fan do you realise how annoying it is to play Manager mode home in games in a ground full of RED seats AAAAGHHH!!!

1) More real stadiums. Reason: I for one get more into the game when I'm playing in a real environment. It is boring playing in generic stadiums especially when the generic ones look like bad.
2) Better atmosphere in stadiums, I know FIFA have worked on this and you can notice a difference between 07 and 08 but I'm still not totally impressed that they have captured the atmosphere of football stadiums, it still feels a bit bogged down and quiet.
3) In 07 if you needed a goal desperately, get a corner, cross it in to the near post and header it in, 9 out of 10 times I'd say this worked. In 08, I've found something similar, get a corner, pass it to the nearest player, and just charge into the box and fire it low into the bottom corner. You shouldn't be able to score these type of goals over and over again at free will. Please fix.
4) MOST FRUSTRATING THING ABOUT 08, IS THE GAME CRASHING, MAINLY AT SUBSTITUTIONS EVERY NOW AND AGAIN. EAGAMES MUST BE AWARE OF THIS BY NOW? WITH THE NEXT-GEN CONSOLES WE CAN CONNECT TO THE INTERNET, WHY CAN'T EAGAMES PUMP OUT A GAME UPDATE TO STOP THIS? MORE SUPPORT FROM EA IN FUTURE SERIES WOULD BE NICE.
5) What happened to players looks etc in 08? the players in 07 look more realistic. John Terry for example, what the!!!! (in 08) - Back to the drawing board EA.
6) I've noticed people asking for more violence/rage etc from players to reflect the modern game, FIFA/EA wont do this because they want to phase this out. It's a shame, because they can't hide from it, player rucks on the pitch etc is part of the modern game, for us English, we call it: PASSION. It would be nice to see EA reflect the game how it is. Sometimes I feel that EA make the game more for young children with how babyish/non realistic the game is at points.

8) Now we have nextgen consoles EA need to really work and produce a game that truely deserves to be called nextgen, football is HUGE around the world and for ONCE it would be nice to have the great game on the gaming scene but as it truely is.
9) night stadiums, why lock them? I've been playing 08 for ages now and I can still only play in day stadiums I don't know wtf is going on, I barely have enough points to unlock 2 kits LOL I think something went wrong in the production office.
10) T-A-K-E your time on the game and make it really good, stop beating around the bush and producing lame versions of fifa, enoughs enough, start producing a game that people wont be able to get enough of.

Better AI for your team, on harder difficulties instead of making your team dumber and the ref biased, actually make the other team better. Players shouldn't wait for passes, put in more stadiums like the Bernabeu, DO NOT INCLUDE DIVING IT WOULD RUIN THE GAME

A lot of people that i know don't buy the game cause there isn't a belgian second division or a dutch second division.

Fifa 08 is awesome, but I think it would be very cool if in Fifa 09 you could see the soccer coahes yelling at the players what to do. What would be cool to is if Fifa 09 could have a World Cup mode, just like if Fifa 08 did on the country cups. AND I HOPE FIFA 09 COMES OUT FOR PS2 (PLAYSTATION 2)!!!!!!!!

fifa 08 for pc is a awesome game, but for fifa 09 i think you should be able to dive on it and also put all the real stadiums such as Derby County (Pride Park Stadium), Nottingham Forest(The City Ground) just little bits like that would make a massive difference.

There should be a wider range of players able to be scouted and have more individual on the scouting regions. don't just have England and France and leave out countries like the USA and Argentina have to share a region. Also in manager mode there should be a youth team per club available so the youth players that we acquire could play for the reserves.

because based on how the game is going affects how the team or even individual player plays: i think it would be neat to put another part of manager mode where you can compliment or reprimand a player. like if someone makes a brilliant play then chose from the menu (or however it might be set up) and say like "great job" or " nice move" or "nice marking" so based on what you tell the player, he either is more productive or less.

i think if you were able to compliment the player on doing something good, it would be nice, and you can set it up in a way it wouldnt interrupt the game, like maybe between cutscenes press a button and chose it from a list, then when the cutscene is does you see the coach tell something to the player,and he gets happy and does better, and if u say something negative, the player tries harder to correct it, but if you press nothing the cutscene goes away like normal...just a thought

because to me if i see a player make a good run i get happy because he did something smart and to anyone playing in a game, when u say something positive, it makes them be positive.

on fifa 09 there shd be a warm up on the pitches before and after league/cup matches also REAL managers cheering and commanding there team from the sidelines more celebrations better commentators [andy gray gets on mi nerves] premiership teams to conference south teams. Hi im Stanislav Petrov and im from Bulgaria. I currently reside in Washington D.C.
If you read this can you please consider putting in the bulgarian league. I've been buying every single fifa since fifa 2000 expecting to see the bulgarian league.I would be really happy to see that happen. Also one of the reasons im writing to you the gamemakers is because I have a lot of friends here in D.C. that are bulgarians. They buy the game sometimes but they are always dissapointed when they dont see our league in there. I noticed that in Fifa 08 you added the Turkish League which is nice but we are a neighboring country and I think we deserve more than just our International team in there.Please read my opinion and strongly consider whether or not to put the bulgarian league.

you really have to work hard on gameplay cause PES2008 has an way better one... and framerate issues SUCK

referee's can get bullied and players act injured on the position that they are injured. basically we need 2 see more animation mimicking real life situations on the field.

us beeing able to see managers sent out of the dug out and seeing fans leave when there team is loosing by alot of goals. seeing managers angry when the oposing team score.
when a player pushes another we hav the choice to attack the player by pressing the soot or cross button.

in odd games can we see fights between players with a high anger rating and the stronger players picking on the weaker ones when there is a situation on the pitch such as a player getting sent off

half time commentry and showing the changing rooms. in finals we can see the coaches arrive at the stadium and the players come out, and lead into the stadium. we can also see the players come out of the changing rooms.

let players be able to handball, and when a player gets seriously injured allow an ambulance to come onto the field

Well, i´d like to see 1)more national teams eg. Estonia.
2) Chelsea players not being underrated eg wing backs and Dider Drogba is the best CF there is and yet Rooney is rated higher ( overrated imo ) and all the other Chelsea players some stats just are crazy eg Sheva(81) and Lampard (85). Sheva is a lot better than Saha or Keane etc, and Lampard Is with Ballack with some others the best midfielder yet ronaldinho is a 91and Gerrard an 88.

I think that Fifa 09 should have next gen graphics in PC and bwin league. New skills and more realism in players moves and the Gk make better defenses because they are dumb :P

fifa 08 this year for the 360 is great and there is not a lot wrong with it
but for fifa 09 i think you should be able to dive and also a rage meter where if your player who yo upick before the game such as wayne rooney if the rage meter gets full in the game he elbows or headbuts a player off the ball !

put more international teams including INDIA!!

make it so you can dive and if its really obvious then you should be yellow carded

All I am saying below is only for PSP (I only play the PSP version)

I suggest that you should :
1. Add an "Edit Position" section in the formations settings, where we can "Manually" edit the positions of a player.
2. Make the match more realistic. For example :
a) Purposely does a handball and referee gives a red card.
b) The time shouldn't stop during fouls or throw ins. Add the wasted time in stoppage time instead
c) Commentators should make it more exciting, for example, in the finals.
3. ADD TRAINING SESSION IN THE GAME

'be a pro' could be more realistic by having the camera in 1st or 2nd person mode. it would really be exiting because it would be like your the person on the pitch playing rather than having it on birds eye view.another suggestion is to put the j-league because it is getting more popular.Thanks for putting the a-league in!!

I think the controls for fifa 08 is not as nice as the controls for fifa 07.
i think fifa 09 should have more songs, more argues, more leagues, and also more international teams. The game should also have a referee on the pitch and more game modes such as practicing tricks and dribling exercises so that players can up their overall stats, like in the psp fifa 07.

I think that we should have more languafes instead of english (next-gen).

Like have different commentators like in-
English- Martin Tyler and Andy Gray
Spanish- Pablo Ramirez and Jesus Bracamontes
Portuguese (BRA)- Galvao Bueno and Casagrande

I would like some changes to manager mode
if players are unassigned a team they should go to the free agency on manager mode instead of not being able to be used at all.
You should be able to coach your countries for the international friendlys.
Players should have a form bar from one to ten that doesnt affect there overall but will affect there market price. if a striker scores 10 goals in ten games he will be worth more than if he doesnt score at all in ten games.
When you scout the world for youth players you should be able to put them into your youth acadamy instead of straight to first team.
And finally the league table. for example 9 times out of ten the league leader will finish in the 60's or high 70's, when was the last time man utd or chelsea won the league with only 60 or 70 points?
Otherwise the game is great!

NEXT GEN GRAPHICS FOR PC!!!! WHAT IS THAT A RIP OF IN 08!!

Fifa 08 is a huge improvment but more can still be done. Bear in mind if you play the game on a console such as 360 they are limated to what can be done. I think that they should and could easily advance the manager mode. There should be two options in there. One where you can choose to play like normaly and one where you cannot play but the managerial system is more advanced.I think they need to sort out cups in manager mode such as carling cup and champions league. Champions league is generaly a joke on all the fifa games. I manage to get Barcelona Ac Milan and Porto in my group. That is not actaully possible. Also carling cup where i managed to meet a 1 and a half star team in the semi? thats just wrong. I also feel like they should add some more individulism to the game. They have done some of this already but i gather its in great demand and with the recources EA have easily doable. I think they should use the agression atribute to do more things. For example if you have high agression on a player and you get fouled he can react badly or if a decision does not go his way and he argues he can be penalised for dissent. One other thing i never get is where the heck is the ref? why not put him on the pitch think of the more realism they can add into it. For example if ref is not near play his decision can be incorrect.
Now onto Be a Pro...
One huge problem i found with this and this is blunt is people being absalute idiots. Some people are out there to ruin the game for you and to anoy you lots. Players on that team should have an option of voting to kick that player from the game. I also think the feedback you get offline should be put online as should the hapiness bar. Other than this i think they have done a good job on that particular system
Graphics...
There has been a huge improvment on graphics in this game. The close ups are not great but from a distance the players look like who there meant to be. The close ups need to be sorted. Being a liverpool fan i play with that team. The only player they have really bothered to make look good is Stevey G. All the rest look very wrong with maybe an exception of Alonso and Riise. Im actually impressed they decided to make RIise's hair ginger in this game. I believe its a first for fifa. If any Liverpool fan saw Daniel Agger on a close up in this game it makes them want to cry. He is shocking. Most likely a generated model rather than a detailed model. I was not happy.
