Your Ideas for FIFA 09

Be able to make a team like you do in the PS2 version but be able to do it on the x-box 360 version and make players as good as you want when you create them

you are perfect and exelent we love you but if you add some leage from asia and america by asian and american champions league i think fifa can be better than it we need jappan iran emirat argantunious arabia leagues please

i think in fifa 2009 u should put in that when players have played that they get tired or somethink like that so u have to use ur players of the subs bench to get the best out of all players and bring them on or some reason to switch them around a bit and attract more teams to ur players that are good and in manager mode get countries and other teams asking for ur service if u do well more real stadiums and proper songs for the proper teams
also the new players that come in do a system where the names r called on the comentary fifa 08 is really good with new players coming through but it dont show u what they look like or the names r not mentioned and i think that the search engine for players u should be able to define search for the player u want like age height speed pass shoot etc the best shooter passer etc.have a longer transfer and not so easy to get players

- The AI? Is it better and more intelligent?

- How does it feel with the new response system? Does players/goalies reacks quckier/gets up quckier?

- How about the crowd? Are they looking better? Are they getting up when you are nearing the goal and jumping when you score? Gets up if the other team makes a bad foul and booing and some kind of screaming like they want the ref to give a card?

- Have they been working on the ball physics?

- F.exsampel can the ref give a card or the striker take the hands to his head if he miss a big chance without seeing it in cutscreen? Somethink like in PES?

- Have they are been working alot with the goalie, ig in Euro 2008 the goalie often parried the ball just outside where he was standing instead of either holding it or punch it outside the dangerzone and it often ended the other team scored on a rebound because the goalie either didn't punch it outside the dangerarea or was so slow at coming up from the ground. Have this been improve?

- Can the weather change during the match. Lets say the match start sunny/dry and then it starts raining/snowing and ends sunny/dry? And has the weather an effect on the dribling/how the ball beheave?

- Can players leave the field for treatment so you have to play a man less while the player is treated?

- Can the goalie get injuried so he has to come off? Can the goalie make a penalty and can the goalie get sent off?

- Some news on tv-like presentation and stadium atmosphere

- Can you make a deadball setup? Which defenders to go up for free kicks,corners and can you positioning them? Can you call up your goalie late in the game if you are behind like in Fifa 08 for PS2?

- After a few tackles do the shorts and shirt get dirt on it?

- David Rutter said in a earlier interview that players can get injuried when they go up battle for headers. Can a player get a cut and bleed or can he get so injuried he can't continue the game after they hit their heads together? Can a player leave the field for treatment if he gets some kind of injury so the team have to play with 10 men while the player is treated? Can goalie get injuried so if all 3 subs have been used you have to take a fieldplayer to be the goalie for the rest of the game?

- How about the audio? If a hometeam score the winning goal or level the match late in the game then the crowd should sound much louder then if they scored early in the game unless its an important match. The celebration between players should also be wilder if you score late in the game then scoring early and should be for both home and away teams

- Info about new stadiums? Hope White Hart Lane is there

- Also if you play in the afternoon the skys are bright(maybe the sun going down) in the first half and in the second half it slowly getting darker and ends night?

- Can refs make mistakes like in real life? Maybe the linesman see a fould and flaging so the play stops and the ref goes to him to talk and then make a decision (maybe a fould so he gets sent off)? The linesman makes a mistake on offside?

i think you should make tha boots better sort out holland and actually put tha real team in and improve the graphics and make the game more relistic because some of tha things that happen in the game dont actually happen in real life

u guys should also stop making us do challenges to unlock boot and kits. its a waste of time and i dont think im the only one that dosent like it. also for the boots , you guys should have alot more, for example you guys should have every single for the vapors, and predetors, etc. please do this. good luck

Maybe if they update the official website [www.fifa.ea.com] i wouldnt have to be on this forum so much. It made me LOL when people asked for every country in the world, who cares? Training duriong season would be good to see if you have your tactics stop on, also they should change there kit depending on the weather, and can we get the shirts sticking to the players when it rains?

And also..when you slide leave marks on the ground..so it is more realistic.and let players get really muddy! that would be brilliant..

and also when it rains..the pitch should gradually get wetter and wetter..and puddles should appear and the ball slows down or skids up off the surface..just like in real-life!!

and ball boys should collect the ball...and if it is a massive rivalry fans and players should break into odd fights every now and again..and have crowd trouble..with things getting thrown onto the pitch!

Personally i think the more realistic to real-life matches you make the game..more people are going to enjoy it and won't get bored, because they dont know whats going to happen next!

I really believe the football crowds should be a lot more realistic. The away fans should be separated by a police line and crowds should jump up when their side scores. FIFA08 had none of these. Crowds were static and did not resemble reality in any way.

In Fifa 09, I think there should be:
1. All Premier League Stadiums - Villa Park, Upton Park, Fratton Park..Etc!
2. Be able to choose different types of weather - From sunny to snow and rain..
3. Make the players have their own boots..Not the tacky "EA Sport Boot"! it spoils the game.
4. In manager mode..you should be able to choose what type of training you do on particular days! and also in manager mode you should also be able to manage an international team..if you get asked! and once managing an international team..you get to select the players you want in the team! and the games in the manager mode should change to World Cup qualifiers or some other internation tournament! that would be ace!!
5. And finally you should include referees and linesman on the pitch and see subs

--- Cover should be English players, I'd go for John Terry and Steven Gerrard.
--- More stadiums! - Gives me an extra "buzz" playing the game in real stadiums, playing countless matches in fake stadiums get boring!
--- More atmosphere, places like Stamford Bridge, Anfield, Everton, Portsmouth etc really do get behind the team and make the place intimadating - would be nice to feel that in a game!
--- More varied commentary.
--- More realistic players, especially youngsters as when you play in "manager mode" for a long time, youngsters will be the future.
--- More realistic stats and player growth - again especially with youngsters, I never seen a youngster in the last Fifa game go from 60 to 80+ for example!
--- Weather, I was always playing in day time with sun on the last game! what the? rain/show/sleet/thunder storms/cloud/night/sunset etc please!
--- Finals at Wembley please as it should be!
--- When going to buy players, sometimes it says you only have 1 available or 3, remove that to be honest! so annoying!
--- More realistic player valuation.
--- More stadiums! (oh wait, I already said that!!)
--- Skill at full pace, and ability to utilise skill nearer to players - I personally found it hard to use skill to get past players that are very close to me, i.e. get out of situations.
--- Make it harder to score!
--- Instead of game modes like "World Class" and "Legendary" - why not have "Realistic" - when on "Legendary" and struggling to beat lower league opponents it gets a bit silly and annoying. I want teams to be realistic, yeah there will be an upset along the line but lower teams can't beat the big teams all the time!
--- I could add so much more but I'll leave it to EA to give us a console game for the game we LOVE!

in fifa 09 , they should interview the coach or the man of the match at the end of the game , to give it the touch of reality..or think about at halftime before it goes to the start menu .. there be a small hlftime analysis about the possesion and how the team needs to improve etc

I think you should make all transfers up to date, free kicks should be improved, goalkeepers diving and when you win a cup, you shouldsee the team HOLDING the cup, and the fans should be more realistic on ps2 and pc. thanks

u guys should have variety on how the socks look. for example cristiano ronalso sometimes has it up to his knees with tape past his ankle. add more kinds of weather.
and also if games are being played at dusk , as the games go on it should turn in to night. that would be realistic. and make the players have the same body type as the real player in real life. and dont make the players kits baggy on them , have the jersey be tight on them with some movement when the players run, and for the shorts have them a litle loose on them , and have the shorts have more movement when they run, so they dont look stiff on the, thanks

also maybe we should be able to see our subs warm up in the side lines but in trainning shirts so we dont think they are our players. also when taking a free kick from 19.5 meters sometime it goes well when u shoot so lightly with less power but other times if u shoot dat same way it goes wid over d bar, i think dat should be improved

i would like to see womens championships,and we shoul be able to conrol the celebrations and when a player gets injured can u show the meds rushing down to carry them while d time of d game still runs like real football or soccer and maybe if the player is ok tere should be a green cicular blinking by the score sheets if he is not it should be a red blink. this should allow fair play.

More stadiums like Celtic Park, Ibrox, Amsterdam Arena and Reebok stadium.

You need opportunities for your manager to be an international coach.

You should be able to customize formations in career mode.

Big Clubs should be more ambitious on the transfer market. AC Milan, Real Madrid, and other big clubs became really crap about 4 years into the game when all of their veteran players retired. It was not really fun after that.

Also, the announcer should know the names of the new players that come into the league... it gets boring when you are in career mode and the announcer doesn't know the names to your young team of all stars you spent 10 game years or so building.

There should be Euro Cup, World Cup, South American Cup, Champions League, and those types of tournaments in the "Tournaments" section.

Players are not robots! Players should announce they want to join (or leave) your club during career mode.

Roma and Inter were actually relegated one season and underdog teams were making it in the Champions League. Fix your program please... these events are near impossible!

This should give you a good starting point.

i feel that this doesn't matter anymore because the game is almost completed...but i would like for there to be transfer sagas in Manager mode similar to that of C Ronaldo and Lampard...and more interaction with the press

So I'm not taking credit for anyone's idea (JC83 fro EA UK website), fatigue needs to be a factor in the game. You can have no energy on the bar and still be able to play. This takes away from the realism of the game. As players get tired, there should be a dip in the player ratings. I've played in manager mode against teams that have players who are tired but it doesn't effect them. Most gamers want the realism from the beautiful game and so do I

I AM SURE YOU WILL NOT READ THIS BUT ANYWAYS !!!
Fifa 08 was amazing but here are a few things you could add and improve on
1) When you go into transfer centeral you should be allow to moniter players
2) You should be allowed to offer cash+player(s) in a deal (Ashley Cole / Gallas SAGA)
3) when you pause in manager(league) mode it would be good if you could have like a Gillette Soccer Saturday up to date scores (not commentary or nothing fancy)
so you cant tell were you are in the league.
4) Customisable Licensed Boots so when players get new coloured boots in the same style you can get up to date without needing an online update (I UNDERSTAND PROBLY UNLIKELY) but from what i've read 'it's what the public want'.
5) Short sleeved shirts with long sleeved body warmers ie, nani,ashley young
6) Medium sleeved shirts ie, Cristiano ronaldo etc.
7) Buy joint licence with konami for holland (neverlands) & Santiago Bernabue

I think that should be the league argentina. in both categories national "B" and national "A".
and I have a good reason, in the last world cup argentina was the preferred choice by the fifa.
has a lot of players who triumph in a lot of European teams, and not just leave River Plate and Boca Juniors. The best example is the Agüero kun (player atletico madrid), which left the club independent

i believe Fifa 09 Needs more league's (RUSSIAN ESPECIALLY) more stadiums although im sure EA are already working on that Easier FK's altho not too easy! despite it being mentioned severel times i definately dnt want training or referees on the psp version of o7 training was tedious boring and too easy to [...]! And why do we need the referee it hardly makes a damn difference and i want ea to spend more time on bigger better original features

wat i think u can hav a fight control da ref slide da ref make da goal keeper an out field keeper more teams and make grapics beter and when u win cups like champions league hold da trophy an hav better skills and u can choose a match which only penalties please do this am a massive fan of fifa got it on every console

PLEASE MAKE CR7 SHOOT HIS OWN STYLE!!!!!!!!!!! What about the Fair Play you never put it?

ADD COPA LIBERTADORES TOURNAMENT...add the top 3 teams from each country and have them in rest of the world or might as well add south american leagues...because europe isn't the only continent where the greatest football comes from...you need it from all around the globe...and next to europe, south america is just as good with football than anything...

I think there should be the Russian league and have the Champions League and Uefa Cup to do in tournaments.Aswell they should have the managers being shown like in Euro 2008 game.And being able to change your teams kit to suit the way you like it!

well i think that the players skills are over rated and that you should add in the the world cup, champions league and the Euro.

I definetly think that if you do well in your managing career, then you should be asked to be an international manager. This would be a great feature, adding a lot more joy to the game.

First of all, GREEK TEAMS........ Now id would also like it if when in manager mode, you are man u and chelsea buy a goalie who is really good and usually they get number 2 or something like that. Well its not realistic so heres what i think
no1= goalkeeper
2,3,4,5,6=defender
4,6,7,8,11=midfielder
7,8,9,10,11= strikers
And then all the rest of the number could be whatevr position. all im saying is that it is annoying when a star striker moves to another club and gets a defenders number but if its a defender who has another positions number say he has no. 7 im not saying you should change that. Also there should diffent styles of play for each player because on past fifa games hardmen like patrick viera have come across as softies who get takled easily. Different skills should be able to be performed easily and not twiddle the right analog stick waiting for the right trick. and another thing you should be able to direct your header because i got relegated from leage 1 when i was playing legendery on xbox360 and half the time i was wasting play by going on th wings crossing it in and hitting the bar every time. long shots should be more a wider range from bullets to soft floating ones and the crowd should be less blurry and players should get fined for misconduct. Also it should be made possible that every young player in the game can be a grat player and not an overall 60. Thankyou for your time and i hope to see some of this or evn some of the great ideas of us people hear after all it is us buying the game

If ur playing really well the crowd should shout "olé" with every pass just to rub it in.

Be a pro should make use of the webcam feature so u can put ur face in the game and then u should be able to take ur player online.

In Euro 2008, I was SOOOOO frustrated when I had to get the online achievements as people kept quitting on me when I was beating them with a lower ranked team. When they quit i progressed in the competition but did not get the win achievement - please fx this!!

You finally have converted a lot or Pro Evo fans to ur game including me PLEASE DO NOT REST ON YOUR LAURELS!

In real football, conceding a goal sometimes gives the opposition a lift, and therefore maybe this should be applied into the gaming world. Perhaps teams should have determination ratings, where a side is more likely to come back from a goal down, or, like Arsenal, are very susceptible to a quick equaliser after scoring. This stat could be coupled with a discipline stat for players losing their cool after conceding, or even time wasting when ahead.

also could u show the red carded player angry

and in be a pro you should not be able to put were you play and if you play you have to play good in training to get a spot in the first team and if not you might be brought on as a sub or not at all it’ll give you somthing to work at on be a pro

better fan reactions and fans leave the stadium if their team is loosing. also show some fans before a match on the big screen

like i said before if these things are in the next fifa it will be the greatest football game to date and if these things arent in the next fifa im sorry i will return it and buy pes 2009

u should be able to actually have the referee in the game coz u never see him in the match same with the lines men and they should put their flag up for offside etc like in pes 2008

also u should be able to fully customize ur kit like in pro evo 5. fifa customisation of kits isnt all that.

also there should be a training session for your player in be a pro and manager mode so u can work on ur players stats. for example a headering exercise where u move the anolg stik to get into position and move the right anolog stick for where the ball goes and circle for power. also when u have taken enough free kicks wich go in the goal in training, ur free kick skill should get better.

also u should be able to play for 45 minutes each way max. not 10 mins.

also customizing formations is way too difficult. and u cant customize before a match.

also in be a pro. u should start with a rubbish club and have to work ur way up. a bit like captain ur country.

and u should have faster through balls that can then make counter attacks easier and faster. also make the gameplay smoother and more realistic. because in real football matches players dont run at 45 degree angles. and first time shooting should be better and first time passing. and there should be more skills which u can practise in the training sessions.

and actually make the stats count. so if the player can jump 58 and another can jump 84 then make it so the 84 person wins.

my main point is to make the customizing more fun and better. with more things to customize.

also show the player returning to the pitch if they got injured and taken off. also show the manager getting annoyed if your team is loosing or you miss a chance to get back on even terms.


if u could do all these things then i am sure that fifa 09 will be the best football game to date and beat pes 2009. and if ur game sucks i will return it for pes 2009

in night games there are dark patches and the crowd are all dark where as if u look at a real night game they are visible and also bring in more premier league grounds and the santiago bernabeu .i also think u shuld b able to manage countries aswell as clubs and if not more premier league grounds then atleast dont make all the teams play in da estadio de las artes because it makes boring if all premier league grounds were put on fifa 09 it would make the game realistic. make the goals closer to the fans ive noticed in stadiums like anfeild and st jamess the goals are miles away from the crowd .the goalnets shudnt be the same in every stadium make the goalnets like they are in da real stadiums .one more thing make the crowd cheer louder ! i know u cant possibly have all dat on one game or can u u probly wnt even read dis message but hey theirs plenty of ideas
