i think that you should make more legues (romania,ukraine,russia,argentina,israel & bulgaria) and you might add more internationals and effects that can make the game more realistic & i think that you should make games or leagues also for u-19, futsall & women´s soccer teams,& thus make game exprience greater.

I think you should Add: To FIFA 09
1. Change the graphics of the game - (as fifa on the xbox 360) - IMPORTANT
2. Add more a lot of tricks (again as fifa on xbox 360) - there so many tricks there! - IMPORTANT
3. Improve the 'Be a pro' camera. (it will be better behind the player) - IMPORTANT
4. Add the ability to do a scissorss kick above the head - IMPORTANT
5. The players will celebrate with the one who makes the assist..
6. Add in Importent matches a MOSAICS (all the crowd holds papers in colors which create a Shape)...- this could be great.
7. Add the option that before a free kick gets inside the goal there is a slow motion...-that will be very cooll.
8. Maybe add an option to threading between another's legs..that will be cool..
9. The screens at the pitch will show what we see..(As in Madden NFL 08)
10. The grass will be more realistic (he will stick out from the ground)..

And All what the people here suggested.

- the boots on the players should be more realistic
-have a manager mode and also a player mode where you can create a player and go through career with and building him into a good player.make him start out at a small club and gradually working himself up and then later when hes good get a team like ac milan to sign him. and also get sponsors to sponsor him like nike, adidas, puma ect.

most pro players are 75 overall or better they are pros

id just like to say that everyone shud read my comment as well as the developers of 09 for that matter, i think its on page 36. if they put all tose things in and fixed up the slow unresponsive gameplay, crap player animations, linesman and referees, offseason in manager mode with player trades and you have to start off with a small club, more stadiums and an edit mode the game could finally come close to pro evo which is undeniably better than fifa no matter what the biast hardcore fifa fans who have never played it or just dont like it because they have no licences.

first i suggest you put in more stadiums like the :white hart lane (tottenham) villa park (aston villa) ibrox (rangers) celtic park (celtic) etc. Also you should make all the teams in the prem play in different stadiums cause it gets quite annoying playing on the same pitch all the time.each league should have there own commentators,also before a big game they should do all the stats for them and they should make you chose if you want to hear what the studio says before a match and at half time they should let you listen to what the fans has to say about the performance. when its a carling cup game they should have the carling cup ball and it should be played at night.when its a champions league match it should be played at night with the champions league anthem.in manager mode each team should play everyone on there team at least 5 times cause they also play the same team.teams should also be more active in the transfer market espiecally the teams shruggling fo relagation.if your manager prestige gets to 8 or more they should make a international team appoint you to be manager but you can say yes or no.during the season they should make some international matches appear so some of your player can't play and they should put the african cup of nations during the season aswell.if there's an important match in your league you should get an update when there's been an important event.it would also be quite good if you could see the cup draws and for the champions league it would also be good if they use the champions league ball.when its the winter part of the prem league the ball should change colour.also some matches in the league could be played at night.it would be good if the commentry could be a bit more exciting.i think that there should be some more celebrations when someone scores.it would also be good if the big teams always are in the title race cause lately its always teams like fulham west ham in the title race and chelsea and arsenal finish like 9th 10th.also in the playes stat they should do anger and if they anger is 8,9 or 10 they would most probably get in a fight on the pitch.also if you score an important goal they should show more emotions.i also think they can make the graphics a bit more sharper. in manager mode when you upgrade yor staff you should see a change.they should make the crowd get active in the game and you should be able to see your manager and it would be ace if your in your 3rd or 4th season some managers should get sacked and replaced.

I think that we need more leagues and Futsal(Kairat!!!) in 09!

have be a pro season were you can decide if you want to leave your club if you want a transfer go on loans and do training inbetween matches

it would be so much better if you concentrated on lower league stadiums aswell as premierships and actually make an effort of what they actually look like and have real sponsership offers. it would also be cool if the players looked the same in lower leagues and you could see the real managers on the sidelines before games with the subs in the dugouts. it would also be good if you could see the linesmen and the referee during the game and it could also hit them and disrupt the play.

On the next fifa i think that you should first and foremost have a bigger range of customizing the players e.g. the white tape/socks which players like ronaldo,nani and quaresma wear on the bottom of their ordinary sock, Aswell as this i think that the players kits should be more editable for example how high the socks go, long sleeved nike pro like rooney,tevez and evra wear. Secondly you should have a wider range of boots to buy in the fan shop beacuse nobody wears hummel boots, aswell as more boots you should also put more detail into them. the players faces could look more lifelike. you should also have a “superstar mode� like in the madden games and finally you should be able to design your own colours of boots for example orange vapors.

When i won the champions league, It went down to peneltys, I eventualy won after an exciting shootout. Once i had scored my last penelty to win the title it showed schwinstiger (or what ever) who took the penelty celebrate and then that was it. I didnt even get to see my team life a trophy. How s*** is that, Great build up and then that, It seriously made me want to quit playing fifa things are getting that bad.

Why is it that players whos stats say there good long shot takers are infact not! I seem to scoore more long rangers with someones long shot skill in the 50's. Just doesnt make sence.

I have been in the champions league final 2 years running with byern munchen, The 1st season the final was held at my home, the allianz areana, Which is totals fake because the finals never held in another clubs stadium and in the 2nd season i was playing lyon and it was held in there pitch. Totaly fake.

more range of boots e.g white, green, blue and orange f50's green, blue, zinc vapors and swap them for the hummel boots because nobody wants them

some suggestions :

1. children accompanying players at the start, during the toss in the middle
2. mascots cheering the team
3. definitely better commentary - the commentator should also talk about general stuff ... like "frank lampard was a basketballer in highschool" p.s. its hypothetical
4. more leagues like UEFA Champions League
5. more stadiums
6. under 21 and under 19 teams
7. interactive crowd - shouting and taunting from the 1st row when a player gathers the ball for a throw in
8. may sound wierd... but somehow being able to start a fight with any1.
9. create your own player with facial features, skills, build etc
10. create your own team will the players you like
11. being able to rush back players from injuries
12. being able to waste time in the dying stages
13. crowd boos and whistles when an opponent team player does a bad tackle
14. player of the year, month, etc

In Manager Mode make it so you can purchase or get any player.

Also Make Referee and Sideline refs visible.

Make better crowd.

playing in manger mode i'm like to play with current football players.but in manager mode players retairment and unknown players come to the squard .but i like to play with current players with lmanager mode therefor stop the retairment option.

Have The Sound Effects Sound Louder And Better: ( Hit The Bar You Should Hear The Hit And Vibration Of It And Have The Fans Sing And Cheer More.

Subsitutions Should Be Seen On Cutsenes And Warming Up If You Have Made A Sub.

GoalKeepers Should React More Relisticly Becuase The Still Move Like There Half Asleep And You Should Be Able To Dance And Move About When Taking Peniltys.

More Skills And Tricks But Not Too Much Because It Will Spoil The Gameplay.

InterNationals: There Should Be More Interntional Teams And It Would Be Really Cool If Before Every International Match You Get Too See Them Singing There National Anthems.

Online: Its Very Good Right Now But Be Good If We Got Another Little Somthing Likes Of Someone Can Be The Ref In Online Mode (Be a Pro) That Would Be Quality Haha.

Id like to see more hands on manager mode. For example the option to coach national teams as well as your club. It would also be great if you could have more to do with the running of the club for example stadium construction, extension and alteration. Perhaps even the changing of jerseys?

Another concept would be agent mode. Were you can choose or create a player make all there decisions, pllay as them etc. Carry out moves to each new club etc.

Jesus there are some ridiculous suggestions on here. "A career for a referee","Being able to change players haircuts". WHO CARES ABOUT THAT? There are some key points that DO need working on to make Fifa 09 amazing.

- Sponsors for career mode dont pay enough and they are un-realistic. make them proper named sponsors with realistic sums of money that they give you. PLUS when you win the league or the FA cup you get a lump sum of cash like in championship manager. Because at the moment you are relying on your weekly "wage" from tickets and sponsors to fund a transfer budget yet it is never enough!

- Through Ball - Make it better......at the moment it is rubbish. FACT

- In game referee - add to the realism and all that

- INTERNATIONAL CALL UP FOR MANAGER - that would be amazing!!!!!

- more leagues and players. Dont waste your time with every african league there is because it will be pointless!Although there are some legitimate leagues that you guys have missed out on....Argentina,Serbia, Russia to name a few. Just generally where you know there are good players there!!!

If you add these features you cant go too far wrong. But to waste your time on making edits for characters and a career for a ref is simply a waste of energy. If you want to eliminate the competition in the market i.e Pro Evo....then you've got to make the effort and adjust the game in the right way. (Enclosed)

BEFORE the players come out of the tunnel... 4 kids holding one flag,then another 4 kids holding another flag come out of tunnel to the middle of the field.Thats when the players walk to the middle of the field holding a little kid by the hand.Then the national anthems start and it gets more quiet. After national anthems-commentaters say the lineups for both teams. Eg. Spain plays Argentina when you are in England. This makes the game more realistic and challengin as you don’t just lose three players for one game but might lose one or two here and there for longer stretches.

The list of national teams should be increased and during manager modes there should be player trade options instead of just the normal buying and selling of players.

More international countries (Holland possibly...) More stadiums for PS3 and the possibiltiy of being able to download more stadiums as a patch e.g. if i want all the premiership stadiums i can download a patch that allows me to have them from the playstation store... i would pay. International manager mode. Get the crowd more active i.e. in PS3 when you score they do nothing get them going mental and have select areas of the ground up on their feet even when you have not scored. Bring back the World Cup it was in FIFA 01 why not bring it back for 09. One more thing when you upgrade your stadium you should see a change it should not just stay the same.

i like fifa 08 however there can be plenty of changes to make fifa 09 a great game
-more stadiums to play in
-be a pro mode like in madden or atleast make you able to control one player in manager mode
-more international games and players being called up an eventually in manager mode being able to manage the national team
-better shooting especially from long range and making the shots faster
-youth academy and call ups whered it go? even ability to practice and improve your favorite player and your team.
-more leagues keep adding more, more national teams such as canada because many
buyers of the game come from there and costa rica which is a good team.
-more options in create a player and the ability to start him off as a great player
-better boots and you dont need to unlock 3rd jerseys..you can unlock classic jerseys.
-better fans and commentating- rush the field and posters, flags, cheers after i win the premiership in manager mode with newcastle i dont want them to say that my team has had an empty trophy room. make them say different phrase
-more sponsors it would be awesome to be sponsored by nike, addidas, and other big names.
-better ratings cause some players are just so overrated and many are underrated.
-improved tricks make the game more interesting for players who want to see some exciting moves. their way too difficult to pull off especially the stepovers.
- players should be able to slide and put the ball in with their feet not only those crazy diving headers.
-i cant tell you thee amount of times i sent my goalie out to get a ball right in front of him and he does it too slow and some man from the oposing team just puts it in easily
- i agree with the press conference things and different notes when you sign someone or an important player gets injured or you win the league.

if you add just a couple of these fifa 09 could be much better.

Fifa 09 needs:
1. Smarter mangager mode = clubs should offer you the job in manager mode. On 08 you can select any club you want to manage, even when you have no prestige
2. Real Ads for Real companies round the pitch. on 08 we just have the anti-racism ads etc.
3. European matches should be played at night by default
4. Fans in the crowd should actually wear their team colours. On 08 old trafford is white and blue!
5. Cup finals/ semi finals should be played at a neutral venue
6. INTERNATIONAL MANAGER MODE. Take country to World Cup/ Euros
7. INCLUDE THE REAL MADRID BEURNABAU AND MORE STADIUMS

i think there should be diving in it and in manager mode after one game the players can hardly run.

Hey, i think there should be more scottish leagues ,like 1st and 2nd division, and also better quality of the players, because the graphics of some players look nothing like them!!

I’m in total agreement with Ricardo’s comments (see below). Since the computer is equipped with a “threat map� system that allows them to calculate zillions of calculations per second, which makes it near impossible to actually take the ball from them; how about have an “opportunity map� system for the player where his teammates are able to calculate zillions of ways to actually get open rather than standing up still while waiting for the ball to come to their feet or having these bright ideas of being “open� by standing right behind the computer.
Why have through passes when it is near a worthless option to use because it is either going to be too far or too short for the passing the ball to (depending on where the computer is located while you are trying to perform mission impossible)?
Did the computer buy the referee? The referee call simple touch fouls for the computer while the it seems you need to have your legs broken for the referee to give you the benefit of the doubt.
How is that every team that you play, their players seem to be FAAAAAR better than Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo (while he was in his prime) and Zinedine Zidane? It looks like the attributes that FIFA has on each players are just simple decorations.
Teams like Boca Juniors, River Plate and several Brazilian clubs are much better than nearly every club in the Premier league but if you look on the ratings from a person who calls football soccer would think that they are a high school team at best.
Instead of wasting precious memory on the disc on videos and other facades that true football fans don’t care about, how about using it to have things like a training pitch like in FIFA 06 for the xbox, more in depth scouting and contract negations, referees on the field, linesmen and coaches screaming and making signals on the sidelines, players running to their fans when they score, dealing with player egos in manager mode, unlocking or simply including set pieces for corners and free kicks, player scrimmages during intense rivalry matches, and MAKING THE GAME FEEL LIKE FOOTBALL AND NOT SOCCER?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This years game is a very solid game, however you are missing a few important things. First of all, the shooting is much to hard. Its almost impossible to score from far out and the shooting is not realistic. This is the pro’s, people can hit knuckling shots from 40 yards that go in. You need to work on the speed of shots and the movement because right now it is far too slow. Also you should make the players be able to bend it outside-in with the outside of their foot. Thirdly, include more stadiums and better crowd atmospheres that are extremely loud because that is what football is about. Make the crowd sing and go crazy when there is a great play or a goal. Fourthly, include more African teams because some of them are true quality. Lastly, you truly need to fix your player ratings. Some players are vastly overrated and some very underrated. Someone like Ricardo, the best goalie of the World Cup, is a 79? Then you go and make someone like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, probably the second most in-form player in the world right now, an 85. You make Thierry Henry an 88 when he didnt even play last year and is doing terrible this year. Ricardo Quaresma an 84? he’s better than that, Deco an 80? better than that Frank Lampard an 89? Way too high. Please do better research on your ratings and this next version could be excellent.

full stats for created players
make lounge mode more of a league e.g players get suspension or injured
see the referee + linesman and managers
hear players talking
better groud atmosphere also at e.g man utd ground most fans wearin red
create stadiums and clubs like on 07
manager mode more relistic got puyol on free with peterborough in 2nd season
players make mistakes
and finally a feature where you can protest to referee e.g. for pen

Hey get more of the national team player names right. For example on the Dutch national team not one player's name is correct
