More realistic graphics eg player clothes and hair moves in the wind

More leagues (Russian, Japanese etc) and National Team from Africa, South America and Asia.

Official tournaments in manager mode such as Champions League, FA Cup and Carling Cup.

Have all the Premiership stadiums, or at least those of the teams that are always in the league such as everton, aston villa, west ham, blackburn etc

have the uefa cup and champions league as cups on fifa in tournament modes.

In manager mode there should be more than just playing the game then going back to your office. There should be interviews, both before and after matches aswell as midweek press confferences. These should talk about your teams progress or transfer rumours - true or not. Pre-season should be longer and should consist of training, which you run, which continues throughout the year. The camera should also see your reactions as a manager. You should also see them actually lifting the cup in a final and celebrate like in the Euro 2008 game. I also think that we should see pundits' comments in the studio on big games too.
Manager mode is my favourite part of the game and I think with these ideas it could be even better.

oh and on fifa 09 through balls should work better and goalies should not do stupid things like when the ball is passed back to them they have a mind of there own and kick it backwords into there own GOAL!!!! lol

you defantly have to put a ref in the game and you should put diving in it that would be fun and more skills but no really fake skills you should be able to make your own skill and set it for a custom player.

make a team, edit the kit,

and you've got to heave the legends in it george best, pele, maradona

and you should be able to see your manager running up and down of the pitch shouting

and like on euro 2008 where you can do your own celebration that was good i think fifa 09 should have that

I really loved the 1998 FIFA world cup game it had it all...
Snow and rain options in game
Training mode
and even the much loved futsal

So I'm asking EA to put the following in FIFA 09
-Training/Practice Mode
-Futsal (if its a big hassle just put national teams)
-Snow and rain weather modes in games
-More Asian and African teams (e.g Egypt ,Iran, Ghana and maybe even Iraq)
- The UEFA champions league would be awesome if its in there

But the one thing i want most is the futsal/ Indoor game

please options for legends like George Best Pele Maradona Cryuff and zidane and they can be transfer to any club

Listen i know many people have raised this issue but ur ratings in 08 was MILES OFF what it shuld be. It was in short a FELONY, no less. I thot ur ratings were right upto the mark in fifa 07 but it was just the gameplay and manager mode interface that lacked but rather than improving on what u'd already done, u copped some serious stick for ur ratings in 08. for instance, Lampard is a player who scored 20 goals a season and provides some 15-20 assists a season MINIMUM and there is no way he is a mere 85. His tackling, Strength, passing attributes and even pace to an extent were EXTREMELY underrated. He has scored more goals in less games for Club and Country than a certain Gerrard. Hes' also provided more assists. Even for England, Lampard(14) has scored against all the top nations like Germany, France, Portugal and Croatia(2) while Gerrards(13) goals have come against teams like Macedonia,Andorra(3),T & T,Azerbaijan,Austria,Serbia and Hungary. Everyone surely knows the fact he has more goals and assists than Gerrard at club level in MUCH LESS # of games. I respect and admire both players. Both players are top competitors. In ur 07 version u had accorded 89 to Lampard and 87 to Gerrard which was pretty much fine by me for Lampard ALMOST ALWAYS outperforms Gerrard on the pitch, albeit he might not be as naturally gifted as Gerrard(CL semis was the perfect example. and LETS NOT FORGET Lampard played that game just a couple of days after his mothers' death). This was only an example i cited for u guys. PLEASE SHOW SOME DISCERNMENT WHILE ACCORDING PLAYER RATINGS. THANK YOU!!

The managers should be on the side watching and screaming at the players and celebrating after a
goal.
And let there be custom celebrations after goals.
Penalty shootout mode on all consoles.
In Be A Pro, you should be able to warm up and there should be training.
There should be that important moment AI thing where you can score long shots or split through
defenders with your star players if you're loosing at the end or if you are tied.
It should be harder to score a header on a corner.

from my opinion there must be top best 5 africian team in minimum and some africain clubs because they r too strong now and they have a lot of stars

you should also add the fifa club world cup

1)I think there should pre and post match interviews.
2)training during career mode.
3)all finals played at the proper stadium not club grounds.
4)players should have more scraps with each other.
5)see the manager on the touchline.
6)show the players arrive at the stadium.
7)The oppurtunity for pre season friendlies.

u should make it more free roaming like when u score you should be able to control the celebration and u should be able to control your player like practising and doing warm up before match.

i think they should put these:
1/ add stadium creator so that you can make a stadium like on lma.
2/add the blue sqaure premier
3/for the big teams. e.g man utd,chelsea,liverpool etc show the real managers walking down the sideline.
4/add a proper CAREER MODE where you start off sunday league and make decisions to make your way up.
5/be able to edit kits.
6/edit players e.g hair and stuff.
7/ u should be able to dive .
8/ NEW GAME MODE: BE THE REF where you control and referee a live game.
9/ have a match of the day style thing after match where commentators go over the match.
10/ in manager mode have training sessions where you supervise your players as the ypractise shooting jogging and stuff.

Has anyone at EA actually watched a football match? Really?

If they had they would know exactly what to put in the game.

The crowds should relate to the teams that are playing. At Old Trafford the crowds are generally quiet except on big European nights. There should be more realism that way.

The stadiums should be more realistic. Im sure they are just using the same models for each FIFA unless the ground has changed. Where did the Amsterdam ArenA go?

Get rid of that generic European stadium. If I see that again i'll go mad.

There is no atmosphere in the stadiums at all... the AI is all over the place and why do all the players have knobbly knees with shorts 4 sizes too big?

We are playing a computer game on a TV screen right? It would make more sense to have the experience when you are playing a match to look as though you were watching it on SKY/BBC/ITV/Setanta (Im sorry for being ignorant but I couldn't think of any foreign TV stations off the top of my head)

I doubt it would cost much to have say Sky's commentary team for regular season games, BBC/Sky for FA Cup, Sky/ITV for Champions League, Channel 5 for UEFA Cup with each channels feel for each match?

More leagues should be added so at least every major country in the world has one league in the game.

If FIFA are the world's governing body, then surely the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup and Intertoto Cup could be included? If EA have the licence for the European Championships then they could include these?

Get rid of the whole 'shop' thing its c**p. It dont care about buying boots or footballs. Just stick them in the game from the start.

Career mode needs a complete overhaul but judging by some ideas I've read, sooner or later its gonna turn into Football Manager.

Weather changes in match. If GTA can do it, i'm sure FIFA can. Also pitches cutting up when raining

In a final play in a neutral stadium instead of the home team's ground. When Im a League 2 team and play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy for example - I WANT TO PLAY AT WEMBLEY

Come on EA - you dont seem to realise you have a rival - its called Pro Evo and sooner or later its going to leave you behind...

put mangaers real stand ing up to tell the players what to do and put the real manager of each team

let the man of the match have a n interview after the match and they give a bottle of shampane.

If a team wins a final
1. let them celebrate in the changing room.
2. Let them go home on a coach celebrating to the fans and lifting their trophy.

Before a rival match let there be a preview video of the match that they have played reacently.

Show the comentators before a champions league match. show them talking about the upcomming match.

In a champions league match at least when the ball goes off for a throw in/corner, let a crazy fan run on the pitch with police officers trying to take them down.

Interview managers about possible transfers in and out the club.

add more skills.

In manager mode the there be real managers like eg. jose mourinho ,etc.

2nd polish league and capability to make yourself another league that u can connect to one that exists for example you can make a third devision league of germany and u can add it so teams can fall down from second league and go up

also when 2 national teams are playing, you should have the two teams children with the opposite teams, like in real life. also u should be able to be the mascot.

hey, me again. i just had a brainwave. this might be crazy, but could you be the referee in be a pro, where you make the decisions if things were fouls or not. and if the ball passed the line of not etc... i think it would be a really good idea. also i think when your away from home expecially in tough football areas such as italy, there shud be people from the crowd throwing food and bottle caps and stuff at you, and also sometimes when your about to shoot they use lasers so you missheader the ball or miss it completely.

oh and i also think you should be the keeper in be a pro.

Also, when your doing manager mode clubs should get promoted and religated in every league in the game, not just in the league you just finished.

Oh and you should be able to go into debt, and then repay it after time and also be able to get loans.

Oh and you should also be able to dive and put as many people as you want in your wall, like in PES. Oh and in the PS3 version you should be able to control your keeper like in the ps2 version.

i think you should be able to make players 99 in everything and forget the experience points system, but keep it in the seasons. also i think you should add 'personalities' to the players e.g. ronaldos winks and once in a while not being able to do the skill. Also, people who hack alot should be more likely to injure someone and have a dirtier tackle than normal players, and things like that. keepers should be more reactive and more realistic, sometimes when i play it they dive the wrong way, which annoys me. I also think that a few more leagues should be introduced, e.g the bulgarian premiership (sorry dont know what its called) and also i think more legends should be introduced e.g Maradona and Pele. Also, i think there should be a 'world cup manager mode' and you should be able to choose your national squad. Thankyou for reading this and ill be posting again if i have some more ideas, thanks.

Can you make sure that the Champions League actually works properly this time? In 08 I was playing with Galatasaray and I won the league, yet Fenerbahce was in the Champions League twice, in TWO groups! How does that work? Not to mention I finished 4th with Arsenal and didn't even get into qualification for the Champions League. If these were more accurate it would be great.

Xx At the start of a game both captains of each team should meet at the centre circle with the referee and his assistants, shaking hands, the ref should then flip a coin and you should be able 2 choose heads or tails, and the winner gets 2 pik 2 have kick off, or to change halves, this should be in online play aswell Xx

when players are trying to waste time or do something else, thes hield the ball . so i think you guys need to improve on trying to make shielding the ball more realistic. MY ADVISE TO YOU GUYS IS TO WATCH A PREMIER LEAGUE MATCH EVERYTHING YOU SEE THERE ADD TO FIFA 09.

No one has mentioed this but when ur winning a final you should be albe to kick the ball away while the clock is running so you waste time. diving would be cool, but not unrealistic, like make it a button u wouldnt you that much in case u hit it by accident. Blood would be great :P broken bone also, can we get stracters and stuff and players gathering round the injured player. OH also be albe to slip in the rain and mis*** balls. sweat on the the balls which gives them greasy hair and stuff *carlos tevez* oh you reli need to make him look proper, with the scars and his teeth. Goalkeepers should make misjugdements like of the bounce. Oh have no loading in between free kicks, goal kicks, even see players taking it up to kick off and make it more free roaming, would make the PERFECT game and aslo as u can pull of perfect shot sometimes from 30n yards giving the keeper on chance and sort out the crowds, transfers and commontaters, you'll have the perfect football game. P.S more football storys like have the section where u can read up about other teams and view there transfers and also have football scadles like footballers out partying and stuff.

you should be able to pick a player or create your own. start a carear in ''be a pro' this should involve you making the desicisions about the clubs you are interested in singning with. your preformance and goal avarege should depend on where you are able to be within the football world of fifa.

make the pitch more real like show the grass

add the three finger backspin shot to free kicks you know like kicking the ball with your last three fingers so that it gets that inside curve

1.able to buil your own stadium
2.be able to create ur own badge and strip no just chose from a selection
3. should be able to create ur own team
4. players should be given the celebrations they actually do in real life

i think that you and a mate should be allowed 2 play on the same side in a ranked match online that would be amazin like doubles

i really think the fans should be more realistic for e.g. team colours, louder chants if home team score and also make them stand up and jump around when there team score. also i think fifa 09 should include their real academies to show what they are like and maybe take your players into the gym work on the weights to gain strength also like instead of fifa 08 when you just practice against a keeper with no one infront of you because this is totally differant compared to the actual game free-kick you should use them mannequins to make it look more realistic and get training with a wall and not without. Hope Fifa 09 is the best yet

Im sure im repeating things that have been mentioned .. but...
1)referee on the pitch..-- wow atleast you guys are hearing us out.. thanx for putting the voting poll.. this would be a nice addition and a breath of fresh air, as long as you don't make it so balls bounce off them and ruin a game...
2) I heard some talk about tweaking DNF% but lets be real guys.. anyone with more than 10% DNF is cheating and they do NOT have a pour connection.. when I really do get disconnected.. it sucks.. oh well i get loses for them when I was winning.. sucks it makes me mad.. but not as mad as when i see a guy who is ranked 10th overall and has a DNF of 22%.. thats just un real.. atleast set up something where those guys cant climb any higher.. or something to discourage leaving a game at 5 mins in when their down 1-0 from a quick goal.. figure it out guys.. come on.
3) stadiums-- nuff said.. add more
4) the tricks.. keep them forever.. don't ever ever ever bust an 07 again.. this goes for every FIFA ever to made again..
5) make an serious effort every year to get the rights to calling the Champions league what it is.. as well as the world cup ( international cup? WTF!) you know we hate this.. and i swear by this.. ill never by an intermediate game.. you know.. eufa 08! with half the goodies of a normal fifa game.. give me a break dudes
*side note.. I know im coming off strong.. but you guys are totally doing a great job.. i love the idea of bringing in new tactics to customize.. and the way the game feels.. on the ball dribble and first touches.. mastering these things has been a joy over the last couple years.. I love this game for it..
6) Practice mode-- listen one player doesn't help me work on particular crosses.. or small 4to5 pass plays.. I need it back.. was it 05 that last had this? I dunno bring it back.. I miss being to repeat over and over plays to get it just right..
7)the game is well and about finished.. umm but be a pro.. manager mode.. lets get kick that up to 8 years.. atleast to double the call ups for your national team.. or better.. have call ups often for the national team.. thats the biggest glory.. I mean how awesome would it be to play 4 games and one friendly with your major squad.. very close in hand to this.. make it so even a manager could get international offerings and only have 20-25 games.. allowing you to hand pick your national squad.. leading up to the "international cup" geez.. get the real name already.. its inevitable (world cup someday)
8)cheating.. um lets do something about this.. I bet if you look at the top 20 players right now.. and look at their last 10 matches.. you will see 3-4 maybe more players who have played another Gamer tag over and over scoreline 3-0.. and no shots taken.. um? what.. the guy quit at the 25th minute mark every time and no one was able to get a shot off?? come on.. you know their cheating.. figure it out.. either you or xbox live has to get with this.. halo has no tolerance policy, it would be nice for fifa to catch up with online concepts soon..
anyway online is my biggest problem really.. I would like to see a fair system.. a day with out DNF%.. WTF is that anyway.. (i know what it means, the question is do you know how much it hurts your game?) good luck with every thing.. the game will be a block buster.. and last but not least as an owner of both the PS3 and 360 versions.. the 360 should be the host of the interactive world cup.. straight up.. control just works better for it. plus the competion is better

A good addition to the fifa franchise would be the audio/celebration animation.

For Example, After you score a goal the samba de janeiro song plays like in the euro 2008 and some of the past world cups. this would be cool

They should put in highlights like after every season like top 10 : goal of the season, save of the season, miss of the season. Also they should have like player of the season and team of the season (first 11)..... pls add this things and its gonna make the game a big success.

WHAT I DONT LIKE ABOUT THE PLAYERS WHEN THEY ARE GETTING READY FOR KICK OFF OR ANTHING THAT HAS THEM STANDING, IS THAT THEY STAND WITH A HUNCH ON THEIR BACK, I HATE THAT SO MUCH. SO INSTEAD OF HAVING THEM DO THAT , YOU SHOULD MAKE THE PLAYERS STAND UP STRAIGHT LIKE A REAL SOCCER PLAYER WOULD, OR YOU GUYS CAN HAVE THE PLAYERS HAVE THEIR HANDS ON THEIR HIPS LIKE YOU WOULD SEE ANYWHEREIN SPORTS, BUT ESPEACIALLY SOCCER. OR EVEN BETTER THEY SHOULD BE STRETCHING THEMSELVES , AND GETTING READY FOR THE GAME.
