Your Ideas for FIFA 09

Hi Developers

I think there is the need to change African teams usually represented in the International Section from what it is to Cameroon, Egypt, GHANA, Ivory Coast, Morocco and Nigeria in the next version - FIFA 09.
Based on the records, achievements and current form of these teams, I think they deserve placing for Africa in FIFA 09.
1These teams have 4 the past 51 years have been the "Giants of African football"
2 Won laurels here and there
3 Been to the World cup at least
4 Most of their players play in the top leagues in Europe
5 Have World-Class players like Michael Essien, Samuel Eto'o, Didier Drogba etc.
These players and the like have huge fans across the globe

These countries have over the years have churned out talents unto the world stage and they keeping doing it.
6 They've had Legends like Roger Miller (CAM), Abedi Pele (GHA), George Weah (AC Milan), Marcel Desailly, Moustapha Hadji (MOR)
7. There's been a drastic reduction in the naiveness of African teams and are now adept in Modern Football - This was proven at the recent African Cup of Nations held in Ghana.
8. They are well-kitted by PUMA, Adidas etc.

Please add the following in FIFA 09:
1. Introduction of My XI - that is gamers could create their own SuperStar team from the player database to face the 'Classic XI' or 'World XI' already in the game. This adds more bliss to the already blissful game.
2. International Section Anthems - these could be done in such a way that we would have the first and last lines of the anthems of each country being played before of the International matches. Those which are not possible could be replaced with first and last lines of the FIFA anthem.
3. We should have Sepp Blater and Michel Platini in the game doing honours when you win e.g. the ECC or Champions League or FIFA Club World cup and also when a winning team pose for a photograph, we should see the trophy you've won and not the ball.

The 'physics' of FIFA 08 game-play is really cool.

on the game me and all of my friends think that you should be able to be interveiwed in press confrences and more action off of the pitch

it is very hard to get injured

just say you are losing 5-0 them your teams overall should drop and the winning teams overall should increase. you should be able to train your youths and then pik yourself. make the pc version like the ps3 or xbox version if possible.

Camera Angles
Fifa 08 has been very good, however with the improvement of technology one would expect to have great advancements with camera angles especially on the PS3 and Xbox360 “the next generation platforms�. The Be Pro camera angle is phenomenal and EA must be commended for their vision and revolutionary thinking. However the Be a Pro angle still needs more work as well as the more Traditional Camera Angles such as the End to End, Tele, Dynamic and so on. These angles suffered on Fifa 08 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 because they could not be adjusted or customized.

EA has the technology on the next generation platforms to finally offer more robust and deeper camera options and angles. They can offer traditional angles plus the ability for players to fully customize the angle for how they want to play the game; whether it’s from tweaking the traditional angle with their own perspectives, or using tools provided by EA to build a whole new satisfying camera angle unique to their own flavor. This would greatly add to the strengths of the game giving it even more mass appeal and an even greater edge over its rival Wining 11.

Be A Pro
Be a pro was a great addition and enjoyed quite a successful launch. Ea should move to consolidate this effort by offering for the Fifa 09 at least a full season and would be great if you could be allowed to build a player and live and play his entire career playing for club and country. It would be a great addition being coached and being criticized by the media, essentially creating the life of a modern day footballer.

01. the goalies need to be more intelligent..............more like the field players... they are great.

02. could be easier to put swerve on the ball..........but not too much........just realistic.

03. more diverse commentary..............but still pretty good right now.

04. diversity in crowd....fans.

05. generic boots are not cool.......commercial boots if possible or more solid colored generic ones ......if need be........all white or black, blue, red.......etc......if need be.

and more which i cant think of... hope some of the stuff i mentioned appear on Fifa 09. especially the trade thing in the manager mode...

03. realistic goal post sounds.........they are plastic, should sound plastic.

04. real-time balls that are used that season.

05. better.....solid lighting for all stadiums.

06. better celebrations......ones that are most commenly used.........the arms spread apart.....and jogging down the bi-line..........what happened to that one........that was really cool and realistic.

there are others.........can't think of them now.......but,

EA is doing a great job.........great product.........great game.

more shot varieties like driven along the ground.

2 legged fixtures in lounge matches.

different buttons for headers / bike kicks dive/slide shots so annoying when a cross comes in and your player hits it with a piss weak header instead of a kick

better through balls

don't have players jog or stand around waiting for passes... they should be running onto the ball more.

A far better edit mode is required. You should be able change players stats, appearences, etc, when ever you desire, a system similar to that of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.

Also, they need to make more emphasis on the hostility of the fans from countries such as Turkey, Greece, etc. Every match feels like it is played in the EPL. In Europe, it's a completely different atmosphere, more louder and hostile, with excessive use of flares, chants, etc.

It is too easy to intercept a pass in that game. And it is very hard to play a basic through ball. FIFA developers should make the through ball pass easier to make. Also, player turns. When players turn, it is way too slow. They need to make player movements a bit quicker.

Fifa 08 was great, but missing a couple of elements which are seemingly easily added:
(1) Be-a-pro mode was a great new idea and yet so limited (especially on next gen systems) - where's the ability to play co op or with friends for example? Why only a limited single player mode and not the ability to play be-a-pro in every game mode?
(2) Challenges are no longer co-op either - meaning that you have to work your way through them alone. EA knows the importance of co-op gaming (Army of two for example) and yet it seems lacking in such an important franchise.
(3) Greater balance in higher difficulty settings - when the difficulty goes up, the other team should be better, yet the ref decisions and 50/50 opportunities for example should not necessarily become imbalanced in order to favour the computer-controlled players.
(4) EA always pulls out the stops on team content, giving us more teams and stadiums, etc, so I have no doubt the next instalment will continue this trend.
(5th and finally) I pulled out my (very) old copies of the fifa series and remembered how great the idea of an indoor football mode was - gives the game a whole new dimension. Perhaps this could play some role for a new feature?

13. Indoor football (like on fifa 96 or 98 i can't remember) on friendly mode and tornaments and stuff.

-SHOW THE TEAM WITH THE CUP WHEN YOU WIN A FINAL
-BETTER FAN REACTIONS TO GOALS OR BAD/GOOD PERFORMANCES
-MORE CONTOVERSY IN MANAGER MODE. E.G. PLAYERS FAIL DRUGS TEST ECT
-BETTER OPENING TO CERTAIN GAMES LIKE FINALS OR RIVAL MATCHES

-MORE STADIUMS. For example when i go Preston i play in some STRANGE STADIUM instead of Prenton Park on 08 an its the same for many other teams.
-See the Referee and lines men during the match
-More realistic transfer fees. e.g. Steven Gerrard only worth 13 million
-To EASY to BUY PLAYERS. When i went chester city in my 1st season i bought loads of premiership players
-Top players should be able to do BACK HEELS and FLICKS
-Why do i hav to keep creating myself again when i start a ne manager mode on 08!?
-LAMPARD should never ever be rated as good as GERRARD!!
-Should be able to CREATE A TEAM, KIT AND BOOTS

What seperates the FIFA franchise from the other soccer games is the variety in leagues. I ahve read a lot of the peoples other comments and they are asking for the russian leagues, moldavian league, egyptian league, indian league, romanian league, greek league etc. I only think that the addition of these new leagues would make the game that much better. With all the new leagues, that can lead to the "Copa Libertadores," "Copa Sudamericana," and so forth. More leagues.

you should make the world cup

you should real make the graphics better on all the players because some of the players are well fat on fifa 08.
you should also put better celebrations on it like flips like nani and you should put the free kicks better and the way the player normally takes them.
aot of the players on classic xi i dont no you should have sir bobby charlton, george best and marandona they are like the best players ever.
you should make the boots better.
you should make more staduims and atleast make the fans look abit like real people not a blur.
on the cover you should have rooney ronaldo and ronaldinho

I would like Ea sports to improve the gameplay, especially when the players are receiving the ball and try to turn around and face their opponents. In the last version of Fifa all of this went way too slow. I would like them to improve the realism of the players movments.

Proper premier league player entrance music when coming out of the tunnel. Improve the advantage rule,sometimes it just don't give any advantage when it should

Make the gooalkeepers better and more realistic,they come off the line far too slowly.Make attacking headers and free kicks slightly easier.When playing online don't let other players be able to make changes i.e subs and tactics during the game,only be able to change things when ball is out of play as it is really off putting when playing.More licenses to more stadiums on the 360

1. Make the power of the shots like fifa 07 because in fifa 08 if u want to do a center pass u just tap it and the ball goes flying or when u want to make a long distance goal the ball goes too high.
2. At the end of an international team game show that some of the players trade shirts with players from the other teams.
3. In beginning of the game when u could just make shots, make it be a ble to also be able to put a goalkeeper
4. Make players rank more higher like omar bravo he should get like a 80 but they only gave him a 74

well apart from wat every one else said it would be cool to play in harsh conditions like heavy rain and snow but wen you kick the ball its less acurate and wen you slide tackle you keep goin for a bt longer and on replays show the players all muddy and roughed up also the comentators should not say the same thing like 'shawn wright phillips a real bundle of energy! and finally the players should have alot more commene sense and go for the ball wen there the closest to it not wait for the highlighted player to run to it.... cheerz

1 I think that you should be able to create your own team for the manger game play
2 in manager mode there should be the world cup turnament every four years
3 with creating at team you should be able to build your own stadium from the ground up with your team and choose which country they are involved with

I own fifa 08 on the 360 :)

It is really good but needs to improve....

A few ideas:

1. Create a stadium in manager mode ( choose how many seats you want, but this would cost more etc )

2. In last minute corners you should have a choice to bring the goalkeeper forward or not
( Like the psp version )

3. Instead of just having a be a pro match, have a season where you can make your own decisions and move from clubs to clubs.

4. Be able to put yourself in the game ( this would be really cool in Be a pro season )

5. Instead of manager mode, you become the manager, and you can walk around the little box during matches, shouting at referees and shouting tactics to the players.

6. Have training games ( this would be good for achievements )

7. Have a game mode called " Be a Goalkeeper ", where you control the goalkeeper for the whole match.

8. Instead of making another game of champions league, cram it into fifa 09!!!

9. Have lots of different choices for freekicks and penalties ( e.g. Like Ronaldo, where he runs up to take the penalty / freekick and he pauses for a split second and then takes it )

10. Make gameplay faster

11. Have like a match of the day ( Online ) where people post their best goals and EA chooses the best out of them.

12. Make passing much more fluent!!

put more real stadiums on it like manchester city , totenham ,everton and portsmouth.
put a referee on the pitch. put cup finals at wembly.all keepers should have real kits and you should get a free kick for a hand ball.and when you get injured you should get proper injures for longer to make it realistic.create a team on xbox 360 you should add that as well. read my ideas and make it fot xbox 360 better

1) Nike Mercurial Vapor IV Football boots on fifa 09.
2) Put Cristiano Ronaldo and kaka on front cover of fifa 09.

Include Argentinian league, Uruguay league, Chilean league, Etc... and of course, Libertadores Cup (In elimination mode exactly the same mode with te CEC, not the league mode that appear in Fifa06), and Sudamerican Cup(the same mode of competition that the EFA)

And support to more stadiums, and really cheers of each fans, post more flags moving for the fans...

u should make the graphics better on psp big time and inform us when there are new players going in the transfer market on manger mode.

1. i think once you have so much prestige for example prestige 10 you should be offered to manage the national team!
2. at the end of a season in barlays premeier league it only tells u who is being relegated not promoted which i find annoying
3.we should be able to buy players from rival teams, although at an extremely higher price because it would probably work that way in real life
4.more sort of managers decisions and stuff to do in between games
5.ive been playing my manager mode for about 6 seasons and it good but i think u should have a thing that ages the players for example, if i have rooney in my first season he is 22 but by the time he is 28/29 he still looks the same, moves the same has the same fitness, it would be better if started looking older and losing fatigue faster just to add realism

general game play:
1. bring back the option being able to play each half for 45 mins real time instead of the max being 10 mins a half
2.more stuff buy from the fanzone bit like buy classic player for use in any team cos having cantona in my manger mode would be wikid!
3.bring in stuff like the world cup, champions leauge, uefa cup, carling cup and so on
4.have classic teams like 99 manchester united when they won the treble or the busby babes team and do a classic team for some of the best clubs that u can unlock like clasic Rmadrid or classic Barca

The gameplay is perfect. Just concentrate on da graphics. Things like more football boots not those generic ones. also make the players look less fat and SORT OUT THE PLAYER FACES!!!! make different styles of ankle tape like C.Ronaldos. All the way down.

1.please make the garaphic for fifa09 pc game more and more better
2.show managers and chairmans during the game
3.improve the lenths of the manager mode more than 15 seasons
4.the reporter says mor player names especially for new young players coming from touth teams
5.improve the crowd animation
6.the celeberations after wining cups should be more realistic
7.let the player take a tam pic after wining a cup
8.in fifa 08 pc game when i save a whole game it does'nt have the reporter and the crowd sound ,also when playing back a saved game the cameras should be changed like a tv show
9.the sponsors are not improved enough when a team promotes from a lower leage to the highest one,fix it please
10.let the player choose the weather conditions

I think a created player coud be able to get the exstra skills like "fast dribbler" etc, maby with having a talent tree that you coud spend your points getting special skills like backheel passes and som special dribbles. And i think your support from the arena shud boost your players on the pitch,
so the more you attac the dangerus you get.

Manager mode should b loooooooooooooooonger than it is,its 2 short,
more leagues,
more better staduims,
have the match ball that the leagues us in there own league,weather:SNOW,
more international play in manger mode,
more verity of boots,
little bit of players pushing each other,

i wud like it if u put better stadium graphics, thinner players (as they are all fat!), manager scenes, champions league and music, trophie scenes, a referee and linesmen, more internacional teams (eg columbia and serbia) also u should be able to create stadiums.

The goal net is really good. But there should be diffrent type of goal net. som black som white, som short net some long.
