Fifa 08 is a great package, now just start working on the decorating it. Such as real referees & linesmen, crowd colours (club flags waving etc..) depris on pitch on a windy day, television crew cameras on the side line actually moving with gameplay, spanish & french commentating options, ohh and for gods sakes BMO field in toronto for gods sakes.this game is made in canada and u dont have BMO field, shamn on you..lol.

weather, other leagues, practice mode with all types of shots, goalie selection and versatility

Can we do the faces of chelsea's, Werder's, Liverpool's, Manchester's players.

Make ur own teams
Make ur own Stadiums
Make ur own Boots
Make ur own Kits
Make ur own footballs
Crowds look more real
Players look more real
Real Referees e.g mike riley
Better decisions e.g more penaltys should be given.
On carear mode, you should be able to have ur own office, and hire better staff, and scout players.
On carear mode, there should be sky sports news, e.g if ur team is on top of the league, it should be said.
On carear mode, make some games to be live, so before the game people like jamie redknapp talk about the line ups etc.
Just make fifa 09 like the real thing, and u will be Pro evolution with out a doubt.

show your teams with trophys like on pro evo shows what u have won and more press and media shouldnt have to play a game to be able 2 sign some one should find out maybe there and then and u cant sign some players because there arnt enough players on the other team give them a player so u can then sign that player maybe have other teams try to sign u as there manager?? and have commentry talk about you as there manager not the real manager because they do get sackd during seasons e.g talking about mourhino when hes not there anymore and deffinatly training!!

i think on xbox live or ps3 online you should have the ability to create yourself as a player to use on the online matches. to make it fair for everyone you will be able to choose a player for your personalised player to replace, and therefore their stats wont change.

for example ... if I wanted to be Chelsea I would replace me ANON with Didier Drogba, just for that game and that would allow my personalised player to have the same stats as Drogba.

I also think Fifa should bring back a 5 a side league instead of having the seperate fifa street. Maybe make it not as complex as Fifa street so that it could be included in Fifa 2009. This would be especially good when playing friends as the indoor football in Fifa 97/98 used to be great!

also put in Celtic Park, it is quite vital, along with a real Champions League with patches, music, and openings

FIFA 09 should include J-League and Japan national team. Adding extra game cup like Futsal Competition etc...

Manager mode should include training where you can implement tactics.
also be able to have an option to load a second team selection. Lower league sides fatigue falls a lot quicker through 3 games and to keep things fresh have to spend time completely rearranging sides.

It would be great if you could have a PC in manager mode that has websites so you can see Highlights of other matches played, I would also like to see The blue square premier ( english conference ) in the game also more leagues from other countries, and if EA could also call the ECC - Champions league and EFA - Uefa cup, And last Be able to play international friendlies while in manager mode.

i think they should be able to find all players as i went on fifa 08 and looked for luka modric and couldnt and put in a dive button that always work and another fifa for ps2

i want to be able to play the practice in manager mode and the players faces be more than good.

- In Fifa 08 its impossible to make allmost the same goal twice. Its more nice if its a different goal everytime.
- More different from a player with 60 in TOT and an player with 80 in TOT. In real life player often makes a bad first time touch, you don't see that in Fifa. You makes a good first time touch everytime in Fifa.

Way rougher gameplay- more realistic
Pitch should weather as game goes on- if in wet conditions.
When already in manager mode, should still be able to create and add formations to adapt to your tranfers.
MUST have Champions league in tournament mode and manager mode.
When in manager mode you should be able to sign contracts with kit sponsors e.g Adidas, Nike, Puma etc
When in manager mode should be able to have club sponsors on kit.
Real training (get to play or watch it).
Russian and japanese league MUST be added.

hi why dont you put UEFA and UCL and World Cup all in one games but just make it a bit more expensive because iam tired on changing disks

Many loyal Fifa fans are still waiting on the South American teams and tournaments. What about creating a game with the South American cups: Copa Libertadores, Sudamericana, Copa America and of course all the leagues, or the most important. Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, etc
This would be a great satisfaction for all South American Fifa lovers!!

- Unlock real boots/kleets (eg.adidas,nike,puma,didora,Umbro).
- Create stadium.
- Create boots/Kleets
- make socks so you can see the shin pads or shin guards out line.
- when you are wearing ankle tape make it not so chunky make it skin tight!
- better celebrations (eg. like Martins celebration and Tim Cahill's)
- sign contracts every season for shirt sponsors.

- be able to loan really good players and at the end of their loan at the club, you can put a bid on the player .
- actually do training.
- Have a reserve team and youth team.
- have better shooting and touch.

I have lost faith in this. No matter what great ideas you put forward the EA team won't pay heed in improving the game. They see only money and are keen only on NEXT GEN for xBOX 360.

I used to post here long back. I submitted almost 50 ideas for FiFa 08-PC, to improve. Out of which only 1 got implemented, that too in a crappy format and not as i had suggested. (custom formations)

So don't waste your time here. EA sucks! Play PES. Thats all i can say.

i agree with what matt said (in comment 7760), i think a lot could be done to improve defenders' abilities. a tackle from a league two player shouldn't look the same as one from Nesta. when they're 'jockeying' players just move too slowly. i would love to see a better sense of physicality (pulling the shirt, muscling someone off the ball, etc) when playing defense. better passers should also be able to pass the ball with a lot more pace. i think the skill moves are improving, but i still feel like they're not that much help, defenders are just as susceptible to being sprinted around. keepers should also be more aggressive in controlling the box, with more crosses being punched away and coming out sooner and harder on breakaways. it would also be really neat to see more random deflections off players or bad touches. fifa always looks much too tidy. if different teams also had different tactics for the AI, like barca always passing it really cheeky and stuff like that, it would make it a lot more fun to play a whole season. i liked starting manager mode from the bottom and working my way up (but i think the option to manage a current top team still needs to exist), it made the stakes higher and everything more interesting. in 08, you could have a terrible season or a great one and still move on to manage a five star team. these are more nit-picking, but it would be sweet if when you got an english team promoted to the premiership if their jersey numbers changed to the premiership style. also, players looked too thick for footballers in 08. the fact that if you changed a player's kit number for his int'l team it changed for his club too was annoying. finally, where are the Netherlands nat'l team?

i am a big england fan and i think it would be cool to put all the premiership stadiums on it as well as all the other big leagues. put the refs on the pitch too. i liked the ruttan guy's comment about showboating before the match like maybe juggling, shooting, long passing, etc. to build the players confidence before the match, please read my other comment, it is good!!!!!!

i think there should be a "create your own team" mode as in fifa in the pc versions, but for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

i really think that you should make the UEFA Champions League. I don't create games so i don't know how much extra time it would take to do, but that would be cool. Also, you could give more choices on the weather instead of day and night. I am a big FIFA fan and if my xbox 360 wasn't broken, i would probably be playing 08. Like I said about the weather, make it like you have it on the regular xbox and ps2. I think it would be cool if you could pick your weather on the arena. Oh yah, leave every thing on create a player, but please make the statistics or ratings whatever you call those a little easier because my guy couldn't score a goal to save his life, so please make that a little easier. Little problem, but a big annoyance. When playing friends online, an ability to replay the match or play it with different teams without having to go back to the main menu and sending another invite. Would make things to much quicker and simpler when playing several games in a row

Summary on much need improvements:

feature=> to be able to create a custom team (whether add fav players from established teams or created ones) like on PC version and insert it into whichever league players like (obviously offline game)

gfx=> aside from all players having own distinctive face like their real-life counterparts, how about tweaking the engine so that the players dont look like they all have a vasoline glaze. As for current players, particularly famous ones, some need to be improved. Like Torres for example. Faces should also be updated later with patch updates if not all faces are available on game release.

international teams=> how about finally getting licence for international teams like netherlands and japan(!)...why is there no japan! =]

commentary=> like already mentioned, bit more dynamic, like when you do a late comback win from going 3-0 down in 10 mins for example. Also when players are subbed, it's not reflective at times, commentary seems tacked on a little.

ref/linesmen=> it's awesome the ref gets an intro at the start, but then it seems pointless as when gameplay starts in fifa 08 there is no ref or linesmen on screen. It's trivial but adds to the realism. There is an off-side call but no man raising the silly flag and blowing the whistle. If you get pissed off of the call, there's no face to vent anger to!

Otherwise, awesome game EA. Include everything you did to improve the game from euro 08 game. Keep up the good work!

Nawien has right, every player must have a own face, or most of them. And iff they have, it have to seem real. For example Kaká should resemble more, C. Ronaldo too.

Cambiasso, etc... should have its own face.

Another thinks:
- Why do you brought Serbia and Tunisia of the game? they was good teames.
- What about netherlands? In FIFA 08 appear false players, what happened with

refs on the pitch
faster gameplay, takes to long for a player to turn with the ball when running. euro 08 is better, but needs to be faster still.
free kicks need to be easier to hit the target but harder to actually score, ie make the keeper better, in general aswell as just for free kicks.
more player traits, make players who are much faster, ie ronaldo, walcott, lennon etc, make sure slower players cannot catch them, at the minute the difference in speed is not that much. make it faster to set off aswell, cos sometimes it takes a player like 4seconds to be running full pace, this is not realsitic.

I think you should do a captain your country but for club football, I mean expand on it a bit from UEFA 2008 and have a bit of a career mode thing where your aim is to become the best player in the world kinda like Tiger Woods (which im still hooked too) where you start from youth maybe in the youth team or lower league team and develop your skills in matches and training make a week by week season where you train X amount of days in the week and you have to rest ofcourse and then anythin else you might do as a footballer (ie - Bag a trophy wife, or charity gigs) i think it would be cool if the braggin rights were more my player earns £150,000 a week what does yours earn also when you've reached captain status you can have a slight say in who the manager signs in the summer transfer or maybe what the starting 11 should be. All in all what im saying is that a very innotive mode was created and now it should be used so that a different type of football game is created rather than the manager mode which seems to be the same with a few more features every year. btw UEFA 2008 is a great game and so was FIFA 08
