I think tht we should have big match preperation like in real life so have andy gary and people anaylsing and talking about the match in the studio For exampole like on sky sports! and have interviews were you can actually see managers and players and reactions lets try and make fifa 09 more belivable and real life !!!!

-more pre season matches & be able to take part in pre season tournaments like asian cup,peace cup e.t.c.
-more youth players on game,just shove loads of young prospects on game.

-chants and realistic fans.
-have premier league lion on sleeves like real life.
-refs and linesmen (need!) to be on game.
-be able to be goalkeeper on be a pro.
-club takeovers

Online playability is perfect already, with gameplay also very good (matbe carry the speed increase from Euro 08 through to the next Fifa.

The biggest shortcomings of this version has to be the career mode. Things that need to be implemented are:
International football (being able to take control of a national side alongside a club, with qualifiers and tournaments, this would add depth and interesting national squad selection as youngsters come through in later seasons).
International club competitions need improving, from qualification requirements to the comps themselves (eg, adding the Copa Liberatores etc., music and presentation for the Champs League would also add a real sense of value to the experience).
Domestic club competitions need tweaking (such as replays instead of extra time).
Play-offs need to be implemented (finished third as Colchester United and got promoted to Prem with no play-off??)
Pre-season is a must (to extend transfer periods)
Visible refs would be nice, with them occasionally getting in the way or indeed, getting it wrong.
Potential for player-manager mode? Can start a game controlling the team in a traditional way - then bring yourself on and switch to be-a-pro, the added flexibility would be a bonus.
I imagine there will be a focus on integrating be-a-pro into a career mode - it would be a shame if this were to prevent resources given over to improve the manager mode (especially International football and improved competition presentation and rules)

Here's hoping some of this gets in the next game!

have the captain your country thing from euro 2008 but clubs as well and you ave to work ya self from the lower leagues to the likes of man u and get in the national team.

One thing: On throw ins on fifa 08 they always have the left / right midfielder taking throw ins in the second half of the pitch. It really should always be the full backs taking throw ins. Thank You!

Have the "World Cup" or "UEFA Cup/UEFA Champions League" included in Manager Mode and more realistic transfers..

to be better than pro:

- In manager mode be able to play through entire pre season so you can do loads more transfers and pre season games - like pro already has
- have better club budgets (manager mode) so small clubs have like 50 million to spend pre season like they really do (e.g. roy keane at sunderland) and big clubs have like 150 million
- (manager mode) realistic player prices e.g. not 70 mil for ronaldinho when in real life barca priced him 40 million euros
- proper numbers on team shirts e.g. not blue numbers on wba shirt when they have red in real life. with prem lions on also. in say serie a have real numbers like ac milan have thier badge on their numbers
-handballs
-visible ref and linesman
-better crowd (3D)
-better commentary (already better than pro's) more lines of dialogue. also when in mid sentence and you have a close shot, they should go gooaaaaaaoooohh or something and then reasume what they were saying.
-on fifa 08 the players look fat
- on fifa 08 the names on back of shirt are too big and go on sleeves
- proper champions league andd uefa cup (manager mode)
- players look more life like (like on pro)

- once certain prestige level reached (manager mode) ability to become national team coach for which ever country offers, if no good choices offer then carry on with club management
- in manager mode realistic transfers, no more rio ferdinand going to liverpool

-mode where you create a player and go through his career (choose whether or not to control his teammates or just him in game) start at low level club and work way up, get points after each game based on performance so you can improve his abilities and eventually respresnt his country

-manager mode player trade deals and player plus cash deals. multiple player swap plus cah deals
-realistic player overalls (roman bednar only 69? should be at least 75)
-stretcher of injured players - have them out for like 6 months or some so bad they have to end career (in manager mode)
-pick what players go up for corners like on pro
-slanted camera angle like match of the day

I was just hoping that on the Wii version, there wouldn't be gimicky motion controls.
Either make them 'normal'(Like the PS2 controls), or make it compatible with the GameCube control and / or Classic Controller (the one used for VC games) or both.

Honestly, the Wii controls make the game less playable.

i think on the new fifa 09 you should be able to build a new stadium or make the one you got bigger. you souls put more stadiums on it even championship stadium like home park.

1:russian league,2:youth and reserve teams,3:u should be able to create a team,4:torres' and gerrards rating need to be 90 each,5:every wonderkid including gai assulin and jo,6:make a player and go through his whole from aged 10 at training, in the dressing room, at home, driving to training etc. sighning for different clubs going to school(maybe) and becoming the best player in the world

1) In online rank matches, make it so the opposing team gains rank ponts etc if a player leaves the game. It's frustrating if you're winning 4-0 and your opponent quits the game and you don't gain anything for it!

2) Online Be A Pro:
i) A mode where you create your own player, and use him in Be A Pro. He will start off with base stats which can be improved via accomplishments and/or playing matches in Online Be A Pro mode. You will start off only be allowed to play in the lower teams, but as your stats and rank improve you will unlock the bigger teams.
ii) An option to make/join your own online Be A Pro team (using the above). The player who creates the team will be captain and get to choose the stadium and team kit. They can then enter their team into an interective league where matches will be automatically scheduled.

I DON"T UNDERSTAND WHY EA SPORTS STAFF DENY PLAYERS LIKE ADRIAN MUTU WHO PLAYS FIORENTINA AND HIS FIFA NAME IS MURGU WHICH IN ROMANIAN LANGUAGE MEANS "HORSE".IT'S VERY DISGUSTYING THE WAY YOU EXLUDE FROM FIFA ROMANIAN PLAYERS.

some things that i would really enjoy ( possibly other people too)

- instead of black "?" faces with players that are generic, give them an actual face, it looks better than nothing at all

- the generic players need to keep real..such as, nobody with a name "Min Soo Robaldo Furtado" from Austria..? that's crazy. I would like to see "Robert Jones - England" or, Niko Kusnetsova - Russia for example.

- The menu's. what ever happened to fifa 05's menus? they were so bright and colourful! the menu's in the xbox 360 version of fifa 08 are so dull and terrible, they make me not want to use them, such as when playing manager mode and i go to "squad list" , or calendar, or experience points. I really liked in fifa 05 how there was a big pitch with all the players faces when you were choosing your starting 11, subs and reserves. so basically more colour in the menu's! (or bring back fifa 05's menu's) :P

- If team's gained promotion from say, coca cola league two, and they got all the way up to premiership, maybe their stadium would change? it's really dissapointing playing against man united if you're a team from league 2 and you have to play in a stadium surrounded by cottages..

- the random commentator in-game with voiceovers such as "so and so has lost their keys", thats a really good idea, keep that one up

- a training ground! not just 1v1 while the next game loads..that's boring, fun while you wait, but please please put in training mode..that's pretty essential for a game right? "training mode aka practice" how can you get better without practice!

- some new leagues? ESPECIALLY the greek and the russian premier leagues..their teams are always in the UEFA CUP and ECC, and i think especially because Zenit St Petersburg just won the UEFA Cup.

- Referee's and linesman on the pitch

- Referee's and linesman bad calls, (not very often, once in a blue moon or so would be good, just to keep the realism factor)

-handball's!

-maybe adding real sponsor's to some of the teams? like vodafone? i know thats hard with copyright and such, maybe a good idea though.

-when you choose a sponsor in manager mode, the only thing it does is give you money. they should be represented on your home ground on billboards and stuff, and perhaps even put on the shirts? still that's again hard to put generic sponsor's on proper football team shirts.

-while you're playing on the pitch, the fan's look really copy and paste and cartoony. making these fans look like real fans would be great

-in manager mode after playing a number of seasons i seem to have no more things like post-match manager interviews and stuff like that, what happened there?

-weather! playing in a rainy forecast and super sunny and snow would be really cool :)

- manager mode games in night and day time

- team chants at home grounds and or away grounds

-be able to save your replays! i could do this in fifa 06 on xbox..what happened with that?

- you are able to choose the amount of time you put players out on loan for. also with the transfers, be able to do swaps and stuff like in real life e.g to buy player A from this team, i have to give them one of my players + cash. i think making the transfers better would be a lot more fun, such as, you're never going to see someone transfering from man united to liverpool in real life? players should also be able to ask to leave if theyre not getting enough game time, such as "Wayne Rooney is not happy with his amount of first team football, and may look to leave "your club" when the transfer season opens."

- when you win a trophy for a club in manager mode, the captain should raise the trophy (the one they actually win, not just some generic trophy) on a stage or have a team photo with the trophy, not just have them do a stupid little group hug thing like they do in fifa 08. fifa 97 on computer was cool because when you won the world cup or a league, they would run around the stadium with the trophy :D

-there should be more than like 5 referee's, even if they are generic, theyre only refs :P

- be able to choose your managers face in the game in manager mode

- while trying to buy players, dont include that "there are not enough players left on "team". thats stupid. thats not going to happen in real life, they should just create a generic player if it came to that.

-fix the way to get in "premiership team of the season, or best player/best young player." I went a whole season without changing my team line up, won the league by a considerable margin without losing, and each player played brilliantly (had most clean sheets and goals scored) and still i didnt even get on the team of the season! what the?

- fix the fouls. the CPU fouls me so hard and blatantly, and they get away with it. i hardly touch them and i get yellow card. fix the advantage rule also.

-in manager mode, you always get fired if you're doing really badly, such as facing relegation or lost/draw many games in a row, it would be cool if you could actually BE relegated and then go to that division and still be with the same team.

- more options on "sim match" just like fifa 06, be able to watch the match being played just as you wer eplaying it, and able to join in at any time, and also quick sim and then being able to join in anytime.

-be able to organise team training's in manager mode

Have all the Premiership stadiums and Hampden Park, Ibrox and Celtic Park.
Referees and Linesmen.
Real looking managers seen at times during the game.
Club colours in home stadium. Fans leaving the ground if necessary.
Differant (more realistic) commentators. ie so what they say somthing it is realistic and in differant countrys the commentators should speak the appropriate language.
Have teams lifting the trophy they have won (when they win it).

ther is enough leagues at the moment in the game, but the manager mode still shocking. The players should have actuall money values instead credits whatever it is and in the transfer market it should be more realistic it was too easy to buy world class players

1. Make is a lot easier to control the defenders, so that you can pick out opposition passes (especially inside the box). Numerous times I have predicted which player the opposition is passing to and i have a defender on him and suddenly it auto switches to another guy or it moves my defender elsewhere and they score just tapping it in.

2. Expand on all the possible ways to score. Make it much more easier to score from headers rather than relying on a player with 99 heading accuracy to score all the headers.

3. Make it so that you are able to customize player runs as well as defensive positioning. From set pieces I'd like a lot more options, for instance being able to control where players into the box for corners and having different plays ready before each game.

Other than game play FIFA needs:
- The option to play your own music play lists from the PS3 hard drive.
- Better online options as well as a better online community interface.
- Online competitions, online chat, online clans, better online stats.

first you need to improve the gameplay likewhen you pass your player tries to get it instead of waiting for the ball and getting tackled, then u need to sort out the offside rule its allover the place and the advantage rule you cant play the advantage and then call for a freekick as well,you need more teams and more ledgingdary players to,

the best thing would to be able to make your own team and players with good stats and then build a stadium aswell

oh and like this is football, would be great with the option to plug in web cam and use your face on your created player!

for now concentrate on realism, manager mode and extras (fun stuff)

In manager mode be able to create your own manager and walk around the changing rooms and see the players shirts and boots In manager mode, be the manager ( GTA camera view ) and stay in the little box during matches and shout at the referee and players

I wanted to say that a button so could dive and fool the referee

um and after every league game the table should come up to make you feel more involved.
There should be more injuries forcing me to make changes.
The goalkeeper should be allowed to be sent of and have an outfield player take his place.
I would also like to see diving (I dont think you can thou cause FIFA don't like it)

1. Be a pro season mode where you can play as a current young player or a created player through out there career, having to deal with being subbed, benched, injured, transfered ect.
2.in manager mode the transfer system needs to be revamped
3. you should be able to change your squad for just that match then quick sim
4. A reserve/youth team that actually played to give your team depth
5. player/team of the season should have played over 25 games NOT 3
6. You should be able to change teams halh way through a season. i.e. they buy out your contract cause there manegerless
7. players don't just stop a run cause they didn't get the ball from th first player

Many of you want many things but the thing is theres not enough disk space for EA to actually put all this stuff into... We could have a few main touches like...

- Put the ref back on the pitch!
He randomly comes out to give a card then disappears again!
- Make Linesmen Visible
(Who's calling the offsides?)
- Its a bit sexist that there aint no woman's premier league ;O
(i don't support Arsenal but the Arsenal ladies are brill!)
- Show managers faces and the benched players, while you're there also get a close-up on the fans so they look real too!
- When substituting an injured man have em stretchered off!
(its weird to see a player walk off the pitch then on Manager mode central you get a msg on your phone saying the player broke their leg. HOW DID THEY WALK OFF!?)
- Weather Conditions can play a major part too.
- Players should have a special Celebration
(e.g Robbie Keane and his bow and arrow or Nani and his signature flip)
- Take a close look at C.Ronaldo's Sleeves in real!
- Give players facial expressions so if they miss a goal they might bite their tongue or something, Or smile at a team mate.
- Allow players to be seen coming out of the bus and get prepared for training.
- In Co-op make a 1st person point of view. Allow us to dress our own player and walk him out to the grass.
- when a player scores on the last minute to win a match the level of crowd reaction should be high as possible!
- on scenario settings add a proper 90 minute match ;D
- Make the stadiums a bit more detailed

This is all i can be asked to think of at the moment!

A few crucial additions to gameplay would be appreciated

- the chip through ball over the top from 06 which was accurate was awesome, that should replace the current that just goes out of play
- irradicate passing in directions other than what you told it to!
- better player selection, too often goals are conceded because a player wouldn't select
- bugs such as on mine the thru ball won't work in one diaganol direction - ensure no major bugs
- a better crossing and heading model, this was one of the few highlights from 06, and it is the most effective way to score in real football, it should be balanced by the oppositions positioning/keeper and full back covering all getting better towards world class, not by just making crosses straight and innaccurate!
- defending crosses needs to be improved also, too often you just cannot do anything about a cross, which in real football is impossable, if marking is good, then you don't score from crosses - fact
- ai of players getting forward needs to be improved, trigger runs are a good idea, but players should still get forward and into good positions regardless, or trigger run should be more dynamic than just moving forward, because more often you want players just to move into space, the harder modes are made harder to score because you're team mates are too static.

- graphics - bring em up to the current standard, so that 512 mb graphics cards can be pushed a bit harder by the game.

- career mode - should be able to play more than one year.

i think that the players should get into fights once in a while
maybe flash their opponents the finger and get sent off....lol
i just think that the game should make players get injured or suspended for a while so as to affect the team - imagine drogba getting injured for two months in training or something so
the game just seems a bit generic every year
also steal the good parts of pro evo and make the best game plzzzz

-more internationals
-players that play for clubs not in the game but in the international teams like the russian clubs put them in the free agents for manager mode
-player for player + cash trades
-make be a pro like superstar in madden

i think you shouldbe able to play as sheffield fc and the other associated teams or you should atleast keep sheffield fc in the other teams section
