team chemistry is rubbish but have players build real partnerships in twos after a lot of games like gerrard and torres!!!!!
better celebrations after goals and when you've just won the champions league eg real award ceremonies and actually see the cup)!!

hey just a few things
firstly while playing a game i would like to see mor tactical options for the manager eg creating formations so u can make drastic measures if you're 3-0 down.
2 i would like to see more in the youth academy like watching the youth squad play a match and decide who is ready to come up.
3. when i was playing fifa 08 the stadium is always half emtpy or more FIX IT!!!!!!
4i have fifa 08 on pc and i can not do tricks beause i have a controller for it. fix that as well.
5. the option of changing the kit would be nice evry season or so.
6 BRING MAKE THE GREAT OLD COMMENTATERS LIKE MOTTY!!
7THOSE CHALLENGES ARE A WASTE OF TIME SAVE THE BOTHER OF MAKING THEM!!

well if you look at fifa manager, it would be good to see some of the features in fifa manager 08 when fifa 09 is being made

1. fatigue system: how come a tournament without fatigue players?...
2. attack/defend ai should likely to be random...
3. player's condition like winning eleven...

FIFA 09 needs to bring back the indoor mode from FIFA '98. I know FIFA Street might be EA's answer for it, but it's AWFUL. Just give us an indoor arena, allow for smaller sides, and make it playable ONLINE. That would add some SERIOUS longevity to the game!!!

First of all, most of these ideas are terrible and unrealistic in actually making a game. i do have some minor adjustments that would greatly change the landscape of the game.

1. On World Class difficulty, the computer tends to make unrealistic passes backwards without looking and it doesnt feel very realistic. (Albeit, I still win the majority of the games in career mode. and u can make another harder difficulty just for me :)

2. Adding a simple National season mode where u can win either 2 cups and qualify thru the off-season. just some fake cups that mirrored uero or world cup would be amazing.

3. I really enjoy making new clubs and bringing them up thru division 2. so anything to assist in customizable stadiums would be fantastic and more personal.

4. eliminating the irish league seems easy enough, and adding a conference league for england. of course russian premier league is a must.

5. Instead of adding just one or two academy players, we can eliminate the training mode and add a reserve squad that randomly brings in new players thru a season. increasing the squad possibilites so that we can have the youth playing int he reserves and gaining better attributes w/ their reserve play, as well as keeping older players like gary neville or such at a decent attribute level which takes me to my next major topic.

6. DO NOT PRESET RATINGS FOR PLAYERS. RANDOMIZE THEM FOR EVERY NEW CAREER MODE. eduardo's injury? or cisse's injury a few years ago? or ronaldhinos poor play of late. please randomize the ratings, mostly based ont heir play but dont be afraid to cause more injuries to huge name players becuz it happens every year.

7. Randomize the ecc and efa finals.

8. more 3rd/euro kits is always fun. select different ball for different match.

9. celebrations, duh. fix it.

10. i understand u cant fix it all in a year, but every year you guys at EA do an excellent job i must say.

More new random players and random ratings is a must to continue my purchase thru the next few years. thanks for reading!

please make 09 so that the bench players don't get restless...since i don't need them caus i'm winning every game with the first 11 players

i think there should be more acessories in create modes eg earrings, necklaces (they should be dangling around when you are sprinting)

make the freekicks easier + better, much like in fifa 2005 and 2004 with an aimer and stuff...........and home and away goalkeeper jersesy

i think that the players should be able to have a choice at evry cleats they want when editing them in the game.

No, really, you haven't thought this through, have you? You should go back to worrying about whether there are enough hairstyles in create a player, really, you should.

I' m delighted people are p'ed off you don;t have Holland in your Euro cash in, because at last the power of the franchise and the licencing has a hole in it. What happened there, boys? Did anyone get fired for screwing that one up? I hope so. You've ruled like spoilt teenagers who can afford all the toys for years, and your game has become fat and lazy and unenjoyable for people who want a proper football game that gives you some sense of achievement. how brilliant that something has bitten you in the bum. I've been playing the game since it came out. The management mode is a joke. Horribly unenjoyable to play because it doesn't take any account of your much-trumpeted player growth. You spend months playing through season after grinding season, tryin to get your team chemistry up - have you ever actually HEARD anyone in football say "team chemistry"? There's no respect for the game - just an obsession with substituion and tricks and "team chemistry" and stats - which you then don't deliver on, like the con artists you are. No respect for trying to make ateam pass the ball - you just decide that players with passing in the nineties spray it allover the plave because we've got the wrong left back on. You muppets. No respect for defending - what's the point of spending season after season building up a defender if he can't tackle when he's got tackling stats in the 90s? Mind you, what else should we expect from an american franchise? There's no skill. The game is full of BS about player growth and team chemistry, it's stuffed with meaningless stats (apart from your team winning 10-0, exactly how many saves does a keeper have to make to get more than a 7 rating?) In your desperation to make the game more "realistic" and stop 9-0 scorelines you've taken any skill out of it. the only skill now is in second guessing the computer in deciding which team to put ouit. there's no tactics - the team mentality is MEANINGLESS - there's no ability to aim a shot - it just goes where the CPU has (apparently randomly) decided it should go. The game is broken up by far too many fouls - you barely have to run past a player in even semi pro mode to give one away, and there's no sense when you go up a level of what you have to do to get better. There's no sense of improving at playing it, not an ounce of skill once you're on the pitch, and the right stick "tricks" and "skill moves" are stupid. The attributes and traits are laughable - "flair" means he flicks the ball over his head and then loses it. The opposing teams all defend by getting eight or nine men in the box faster than your forwards with 99 pace and 99 acc could possibly get. Players don't move towards passes when you do that on the controller. Corners are about as realistic as the teletubbies. Freekicks are just pointless - the blowhard developers keep telling us you can put spin and curve on the ball, but it all depends on what the CPU has decided the score should be. Passing is dismal - when the CPU reckons team chemistry of 100 isn't good enough against a half star team, the ball goes all over the place. Players with ratings of 55 turn into ronaldo. Your defence on the other hand is all rated 90+ but they play like people with no motor function. Improving balance, agility reactions and all the other technical sounding words you heard on a TV programme once but don't understand makes no difference. Man of the match awards are ridiculous. I suppose yoou think we're suppose to go on what we see on the pitch rather than the stats, but that's a bit difficult when you're making that up as you go along too, and arbitrarily deciding that players with 5 stars for consistency have turned into numpties. Acceleration doesn't work. Puuting on a sub for experience means your defence suddenly becomes paralysed and you concede a meaningless goal even if you've taken off a striker?- why do you have to be so obnoxious? I've never played a game a game where I haven't felt cheated at leastc once, and most games I feel sheated all the time, because I'm stupid enough to want to play afootball game. Players become useless at 29, whatever you do to their stats. If the next version is going to have stats based on performance I can't be bothered to waste my time, because the performance will have nothing to do with how you play - it will be whatever EA sports in their arrogant insolent ignorance have decided it should be.
Maybe you should make a concession to the people who want to play a single player management game with some skill, rather than this pathetic joke. You might as well play a management sim as waste your time on the pitch with this game. I've been playing it for nine months and I can't find any skill in it. It's a game for twelve year olds who want to pretend to have a team with Messi and Ronadinho in it, not for anyone who wants to play a serious football game. noone ever says this in the reviews because it takes too long playing the management mode to realise how unimportant it is to EA sports to make a proper on-the-pitch football game - they're more interested in gimmicks like the stupid challenge mode (score with three different players - oh, get knotted! ) And creating players. And be a Pro. It's like playing a game with a five year old who makes up the rules as they go along.

Your game's a laughable mess. European games played in daylight because for all your money you can't get it together to put that into the game in time. Two matches in one day so we have to have massive squads. Three in two days if you play in the Premiership. You fools. YOu witless, blowhard morons. Why don't you just make a game where we develop the players until they're good, then they play to their supposed ability? Don't worry about un-useable tricks, having the right boots, how realistic the stadia are (by the way, cup finals tend to be played on neutral grounds, not as home or away fixtures, you ignorant lackwits) Oh and your spellcheck has just underlined stadia, because you don't know the proper plural of stadium. Hahahahahahahaha.

FIFA is a lazy, lazy game - your idea of a management problem is someone playing a trick with a chicken and oh I can't be bothered to remember it. Do you think you're comedy geniuses? Because I can't see anyone else laughing.

Your game's fine for twelve year olds and drunks who want to have tournament at 2 in the morning. As a serious football game it sucks. YOu've had about fifteen years at it - you still can't get it right. have you ever seen a football game apart from when your kids play "soccer" at school? Because it's quite good...it just doesn't look like your crap.

And for all you muppets who think that the boots are wrong, and you should be able to change the strip every season - surely there are better things they could be doing? And as for the halfwit up there who thinks the ball should be bouncier and more "unpredictable" - go out and play football, you fool.

Like I said earlier - this site is for EA lackeys, not for people who want a realistic football game. So this is a waste of my time. But I've just quit a gme at 3-0 up because I was so fed up with every tackle being turned into a freekick to break the game up, and every short corner going to an opposition player becasue the player in the closeup ran in the other direction, and striker turning and Bojan (tactical awareness 96/ positioning 97/vision 97 by now) turning and running back to the halfway line every time the winger looked like putting a cross in.

Like I say, you're games a joke, and it'll be a joke for as long as you base the improvements on the muppets on this site, and on the ignorance of your code jockeys.

fifa 09 should have better graphics then fifa 08 for the wii.also you should be able in maniger mode to create ur own team and create your own players and compete in cups and leages and the team should get better each match they win.

Have better fool or get passed the keeper options and improved heading options

Better passing and crossing options eg. A inside of boot cross from just outside the box more free-flowing game play better or improved special moves for PC so they are more natural looking

1. when teams get promoted to the premiership from the championship the numbers on the back should change to
premiership numbers and also badges on their sleeves.

2. correct styled numbers for each individual league

1. copa libertadores
2. realistic season performances
3. more stadiums
4. better youth academy
5. remove ronaldhinho from the cover
6. include at least 100 national teams
7. soccer players can still play for their team until the age of 50

and have all modern boots

I think that you should have all the correct stadiums, referee mode, and footballer life mode so you get to control your day to day stuff around the stadium on be a pro like talk to the press in a voice and you walk out of the tunnel and stuff like that

I now it may not importent but i would like to see the cups when ya win them 1 it would be more real 2 after a while ya get bored cuz ya feel like u havent won anythink

1. Have champions league,eufa cup,fa cup and so on badges on side of shirts.
2. have more boots; there are loads of adidas boots but only 2 pairs of nike and puma boots.some of the best players in the world use nike boots ie. Ronaldo,Rooney,Fabregas.
3. Be able to give people under armours .
4. Be able to change peoples boots and sleave lenghts during manager mode cause its anoing having people with the same stuff on for ever,people change.

When a final is played, e.g. the FA cup it should be in Wembley not in Old Trafford.
In a champions league match premier league balls are always used, lets use an actual champions league ball
Show the cup when a team has won it

You should be able to see the players lift the trophies when they win a competition.The leagues for example; they dont lift trophies or anything.Should make it more like euro2008 with the manager veiws and trophies at the end. Referees should be added like on evo. Instead of just cinematic interludes. More leagues and stadiums. Other than that FIFA!!!!!! you rock...

i would love the create a team option to come back as it dont think it is on 08 for the xbox 360 and a mode where you create a player and his stats start off quite basic, u play for a low league team and paly as only your player in games. The better you do the better your stats become until you are scouted by a bigger team and you then have to fight for your place in the team in traing ect this keeps happining until you get to a top team say man u. When you start to get older you start to lose your pace ect and end up going to a lower league team until you eventully retire. And i thinking including a manager olny mode would be good (football manager like mode)

2. Make the players quicker and give them some more agility. Make the players have better control over the ball. Give the players better balance so they don't look that clumpsy.
3. The netphysics has to be alot better.
4. The pitch's has to be greener and a bit wetter.
5. When a pass is made then the ball should slide to the pitch. The passes shouldn't bounce as much as they do in FIFA 08. And of course there should be some swerve on tha passes. Guti makes greate passes, study him.
6. The players have to be smarter and create space for their partners.
7. The players should mark their opponents better in the box.

and All-Time Club Teams and have the best players in the club's history on an all-time team

Make the Wii version like the other versions!

We want 'manager mode' and 'Be a Pro' mode too!

Also, make it GameCube controller compatible, so it's easy to play without gimicky motion controls.

u shud make a training/warm up mode wer u either hav the whole team train or warmin up or control single players and have events for them like a quick 5 aside event just as a game mode. goalkeepers need to be sooooooooooooooooooo much better when dealing with free kicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tackles need to be improved, the game is far too biased get liscences for sponsors so u can have them on the game. real stadiums not just for bigger clubs but for basiclly every club. barcelona team is too over rated. Patrice evra is too under rated!!! make the kits more realistic have real cup games like uefa champs league n international matches during manager mode also for matches like these u shud change the names and numbers of the kits like uefa champions league. if u; ea will actually listen to what we want then the game will be great, the best ever! good luck n please don't let us down 08 was such a big improvement from 07 now make an even bigger improvement for 09

The referee's should be harsher with certain tackles, your player is through on goal and if you get fouled with a nasty slide tackle the oposing sides player only gets a yellow, in some cases nothing. Also allow transfers in lounge mode, and exp points.

With free kicks get an option so you can curl the ball, like the old versions of fifa (im talking like fifa 98).

Also Zidane should be in the classic xi.

You should also be allowed to change the classic and world xi sides, in the club and international selection option,

Ok, here it comes, so in FIFA 09, you should have....

1.Better Graphics, make it smoother, crisper, and more perfect!

2.Easier tricks

3.Add a Tutorial that you can unlock through the game, ie. a skills tutorial, a shooting tutorial

4.MAKE IT FOR ALL CONSOLES PLEASE!

5. Add unlockables, and make more things at the shop available, like instead of a Classic XI , be able to buy individual legends

6. Have different commentators, instead of the normal two, you can have different commentators per game. Also, make them sound more like real commentators.

7. Maybe you could make the matches seem like they are being watched on TV, for instance, you could have a Channel logo on the bottom of the playing screen, and in between halves, you could have highlights by the commentator(s), and have advertisements!

8. You should add better music, popular songs from around the world!

9. Include a "Story" mode, with in depth movies and other stuff.

10. Player Bios?

11.Have crazier celebrations, like if someone scored, say Miroslav Klose, a world cup winning goal, he should do his trademark flip!

12.Have crazier fans, like if a player fouls someone, you hear boos, and if the ref makes a bad call they storm the field or something... Field brawls-- take out, 3 crazed fans!

13. Better Online play, I can barely connect online, and i live in Charlottesville VA!

15. The players that you are not playing as should try to get the ball too

16. Make the jerseys more accurate, in fifa 08 many jerseys were messed up

Lastly, my regards to the EA crew, good luck on FIFA 09!

Actions in the play: When the ball goes out for a throw-in or anything else, it would be nice if you had to take up the ball by yourself. And when you get a freekick it would be nice if you had to place the ball on the pitch by yourself. And then the same with goalkick and etc.

Please consider these ideas.

1) Top 5 referee's from leading nations i.e. Howard Webb, Rob Styles, Mike Riley, Alan Wiley and Mark Clattenburg. All shown in the match. So in friendly's you can pick a referee but in manager mode a referee works in his home league.

2) Real managers shown on the touchline. i.e Jose Mourinho and Rafael Benitez.

3) Rivalry matches have more aggression to them. So players foul more.

4) Arsenal play quick, passing football. Bolton play with long balls.

5) Every 2 years players go to International tournaments.

6) Make it harder to play the best teams.

7) In manager mode you can switch teams in Mid-season.

i Think fifa 09 for the next gen would be even better if you added the gameplay and visuals you would see on
pro evolution games. you should be able to make your boots and kits;you should get pre-season games;
Increased on-the-ball dribble techniques;New set pieces system, allowing gamer to make taller players come up for corners and free kicks and full control of the wall;Facial import using any type of camera; the players should look more
realistic; you should be able to have a youth and reserve players also you should consider putting much more slim people
rather then every player looking big. With all these things mixed with fifas leagues, cups, licenses and players
