How to Play FC 27 Manager Career Mode

Learn how to create your own manager and begin your journey in EA SPORTS FC 27 Manager Career. This guide walks you through every step, from choosing your career type and creating your manager to selecting your club and starting your first season.

Start Manager Career

From the FC 27 main menu, open Career Mode and select Manager Career. If you are creating a new save, you will be presented with two starting options:

• Live Career
• Original Career

If you already have a saved Manager Career, simply load your existing save to continue your managerial journey.

Choose Your Career Type

Before creating your manager, choose how you want to begin your career:

• Live Career – Start from a real-world point in the current football season with updated league tables, fixtures, transfers, injuries, suspensions, and club situations.
• Original Career – Begin a brand-new career using the default squads and database available at the start of your save.

Once selected, you can either create your own custom manager or play as a real-life manager.

Play as a Real Manager

Selecting Play as Real Manager lets you manage an existing coach from the FC 27 database. Simply browse the available managers, select your preferred coach, and continue to the club selection screen.

Create a New Manager

If you prefer creating your own manager, FC 27 offers extensive customization options. You can choose a male or female manager and personalise nearly every aspect of their appearance.

Enter your manager's personal details. These settings generally cannot be changed after your career begins.

Appearance

Customize your manager's appearance using a wide range of options, including:

• Face Shape
• Skin Tone & Complexion
• Eyes
• Eyebrows
• Nose
• Mouth
• Cheeks & Jaw
• Chin
• Ears
• Hair Style & Hair Colour
• Facial Hair

Outfit

Choose your manager's clothing and accessories, including:

• Inner Top
• Outer Top
• Trousers
• Accessories
• Socks
• Shoes

When you're happy with your manager's appearance, save your changes and continue.

Select Your Club

After choosing or creating your manager, it's time to begin your career by selecting the club you'll manage. Depending on the available FC 27 features, you can choose from options such as:

• Authentic Club – Take charge of an existing licensed club.
• Icons & Heroes – Manage a squad filled with legendary footballers.
• Create Your Club – Build your own club with custom branding, kits, stadium, and squad.

Before your first match, you may also have the option to customise your stadium, club identity, board objectives, tactical setup, and other career settings.

Once everything is ready, confirm your selections and begin your first season as an FC 27 manager.
