Left Midfielder

A Left Midfielder (LM) is a wide midfielder who has a role balanced between attack and defence, similar to that of central midfielders, but a left midfielder is positioned on the left side and closer to the touchlines of the pitch.

Left midfielders are usually left-footed. The roles of a midfielder are the same as a midfielder's, additionally they are usually asked to cross the ball into the opponents' penalty box to make scoring chances for their players.
