Dribbling
In FC 25, the dribbling mechanism enhances accuracy and responsiveness. By using the left stick (L) without holding the sprint button, you can dribble more precisely. This enables you to better read defenders’ movements and swiftly adjust your dribbling direction as needed.
Use the sprint button (R2/RT) when you have enough space to accelerate and push the ball into open areas. Pushing the right stick (R) in various directions will help you nudge the ball ahead of you, making it easier to evade opponents. Another effective dribbling move is the stop and go, which you can perform by using the L1/LB button along with the left stick (without directional input), and then adjusting the right stick left or right.
The new dribbling in FC 25 could be useful; do so by holding L1 / LB when dribbling. Slow dribbling allows you to be more accurate while also allowing your teammates to sprint into open spaces for you to pass to them.
Having good dribblers (players with high DRI rating) is also important in FC 25 f. Ensure that your best dribbling players are in your Starting 11. Your midfield should feature players with high dribbling skills, so prioritize placing your top dribblers in the midfield positions.
Learn how to dribble effectively and control the ball. In Skills Games mode, you can practice dribbling drills to enhance your skills. Remember to focus on accuracy, read your opponent’s moves, avoid rushing, and give your best effort when dribbling.

Passing
Enhance your passing skills by practicing regularly. If you’re not yet confident, play Skill Games to refine your technique. Use short passes to maintain possession and control the game, and work on your long passing skills for effective crossing.
Use the through balls for nudging the ball into spaces so your attackers can run beyond the defenders and catch the ball. Have a quick dynamic plan in your mind for your passes, visualise a few scenarios before passing the ball.
Once again, master the controls for passing and become familiar with every passing technique. Ensure you use your best players with high passing skills (higher PAS rating) in your team to maximize your effectiveness on the field.
We have a passing guide in FC 25 article which could help you to improve your passing skills. Read this guide properly and follow the given instruction to improve your passing.
Shooting and Finishing
Scoring goals in FC 25 can be challenging. To increase your chances, focus on honing your attacking skills and strategies.Pick up your best strikers with the highest shooting and finishing attribute rating for your squad. Don’t forget to put them in their right positions by checking their preferred foot and their preferred positions.
Heading and jumping attributes are also the key factors for the strikers which can improve your chances for scoring from long passes.
The power of your shot is crucial for effective shooting or finishing. Powerful shots are more likely to score from a distance, while low-powered, accurate shots are often better suited for close-range opportunities and one-on-one situations with the goalkeeper. When talking about one-on-one situations with the keeper, keep in mind that moving the ball to the left or right just before shooting can help you create more of a gap to aim for. Using the right stick to perform skill moves could also help.
Practice for shooting and finishing in the Practice Arena and play the Skill Games. There are different types of shots you can take for finishing in FC 25, below is the list of them including their button guides:

Your Best Formation
Understanding your team formation and lineup is key to winning matches. While having strong attacking players is essential for scoring goals, simply having more strikers doesn’t guarantee success.
