Shapeshifters

Shapeshifters refers to a special event or promotional campaign in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), in which specific players receive special "Shapeshifter" cards. These cards allow for a significant change in the player's usual position, skill set, and upgraded stats.

Shapeshifters event in FUT, involves re-releasing selected player cards with new positions and attributes. For example, a player who is typically a striker might be shifted to a midfield position, or a player who normally has a low rating might receive a big stats boost. This event provides a twist in gameplay and team-building strategy in the game.

The Shapeshifters campaign appeared as a brand-new event in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team for the first time. It started on Friday, February 21, 2020, and took place for two weeks, releasing two teams every week.

In FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, there was no Shapeshifters event; however, it came back to FUT in FIFA 22.
