A Chemistry Style card in FIFA Ultimate Team, is a consumable which boosts specific player's traits based on his chemistry status and position. Chemistry style cards are available in 23 different types for 4 different positions. A chemistry style card can be applied to only one player card for an unlimited time use.
Chemistry Style cards are named after their style's terms. They are categorised as Goalkeeper, Defending, Midfield, Attacking and Special, which explain the purposes that they are useful for. Goalkeeper Chemistry Style cards are only applicable to the goalkeepers while other types can be applied to the other players except the goalies.
How Chemistry Style Cards Work?
When A Chemistry Style card is applied to a player, based on its Chemistry Style card, some of the player's attributes can be increased on the field depending on his current CHM value. This means if his CHM value in the active squad is 10 (and his Chemistry lines and node are green), he will the maximum boost from that Chemistry Style card. As CHM value goes down, you will get less number of increasement for attributes.
Here is an example, assume you are applying a HAWK Chemistry Style card (abbreviated HWK) to Robert Lewandowski in your active squad. HAWK card is increasing PAC, SHO and PHY attributes up to +3. This means, when Lewandowski's CHM is 10, his PAC, SHO and PHY values - which are by default 81, 84 and 78, will be boosted to 84, 87 and 81 on the field. But again, this happens only when his CHM is 10. When his CHM drops, his boost rate will relatively drop too.
