World Cup 2026 Tickets

FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets will be sold directly through FIFA via a multi-phase ticketing program. FIFA has confirmed that ticket sales will begin in 2025, following an official registration and application process for fans worldwide.

As with previous World Cups, fans must register for a FIFA ID to be eligible to apply for tickets. Ticket sales will be released in several phases, starting with application-based lotteries, followed by first-come-first-served sales, and continuing through the tournament in July 2026.

Tickets will be available to both international fans and residents of host countries (United States, Canada, and Mexico), with all applications handled through FIFA’s official ticketing platform.

Ticket Categories

World Cup 2026 tickets will be sold by match category and seating tier. As in previous tournaments, categories will range from lower-priced seats behind the goals to premium central seating and hospitality packages.

  • Hospitality and premium experiences

Expected Price Ranges

FIFA has not yet published official ticket prices for World Cup 2026. However, based on previous World Cups and the expanded 48-team format, prices are expected to vary widely depending on match stage, seat category, and host city.

  • Group stage matches: expected to start at lower price tiers
  • Knockout stage matches: mid-range pricing
  • Semifinals and Final: highest price categories

Exact prices will be announced by FIFA closer to the start of ticket sales in 2025.

Registration and How to Buy

Fans must create a FIFA ID and register interest through FIFA’s official ticketing website. Registration does not guarantee tickets but is required to enter ticket application phases.

Once registered, fans will be notified when ticket application windows open, including lottery draws and first-come-first-served sales.

Noone's buying you the ticket, get a job and make the money yourself, come on mate.
No chance these prices are legit. They're no different than the prices from 2022. I'd expect tickets for 2026 to be close to double the numbers on the page.
FIFA set the ticket prices. They need to ensure it’s affordable for visiting fans s well as American citizens.
Without the travelling fans there will be a significant lack of atmosphere at the games - which is one of the big selling points to sponsors, global tv etc.

If I remember rightly Qatar had a percentage of tickets that were made available to travelling fans at a lower price than those available in the general sales phases. I imagine this World Cup will be much the same
VIP tickets are expensive, there are many options. I was quoted around $2000/ticket or more. Waiting for individual tickets to go on sale, after the draw comes out.
Does anyone know about the vip package deals? Are they worth it for what you get?

@Carlos you absolutely DON'T have any tickets as season ticket holders DON'T get first picks for tickets. World Cup tickets you have to go in for a lottery and if selected then gives you the ability to buy tickets directly from Fifa(not ticketmaster or stubhub) Tickets can only be resold via Fifa's website only to prevent scams.

U now have to try and register for tickets, now the grounds and dates announced. The physical tickets will not be announced/available until the qualification process is nearly through but expect 2025 earliest to get some of approval/allocation. I entered EUFA Euro competition in Germany June/July 2024 and was amazed to get 2 prime tickets for Final 16 Winner Group A versus Runner Up Group B. It could be a Germany v Italy/Spain/Croatia/Albania game. But happy to get tickets after entering 3 months ago.
