Advancing in FIFA Mobile is done by playing Season matches, VS Attack matches, in Leagues, and Live Events. Each time you play and complete one of these modes you’ll earn Coins and Experience Points (XP).
Earning XP will help you reach the next level.
Each time you Level Up you’ll earn some great rewards! You’ll unlock new tactics, earn Coins, Refill & expand your Stamina reserve, and even get new stadiums!
Each match in FIFA Mobile has a Stamina cost. Stamina reloads over time, so if you run out just wait a few minutes for it to recharge. If you don’t want to wait, you can Refill your Stamina by tapping the Stamina Bar on the Home screen.
Fans are earned by playing VS Attack. Gaining fans will move you up in the Divisional Rankings. Losing a match reduces the number of fans you have and could reduce your Division Ranking!
Each Division gives additional coin and XP payouts for winning matches. The higher the Division the greater the rewards!
Plans will grant rewards and some may unlock player and token items used in other Plans. Each Plan has an item counter to indicate the number of required items and be sure to complete timed Plans before they expire!
Eacn slot within a Plan indicates a required item and type. Items that can be placed within a Plan will appear at the bottom of the screen. Hold and Drag an item from your reserve to one of the available slots. NOTE: items can be added and removed from a Plan until the reward is claimed.
Tapping on the “I” button, or the reward itself, will give detailed information about the reward.
After adding all of the required items, tap the “CLAIM” button to collect your reward! Any items used to complete the Plan will no longer be available.
Some Plans will have stackable slots within them. For these slots you must put mutiple items of the asked item in the slot. To remove items from the slot just tap on the item in the slot like normal. The top item will be removed and put back on your reserve.
Visit the Shop to get item Packs and Bundles to improve your team! You can also Send Gifts to Friends and League members with the Send Gift button!
Check back often for new items and special offers.
Coins and Points
There are two types of currency you can use to purchase items within the Shop. Coins, that are earned from playing matches, and FIFA Points, which can be added from the (+) button on the HUD.
The Market Is a great place to get new players. Use the Browse tab to search through all currently active Listings. If you want to narrow your search criteria, tap the “Search” button in the upper right to bring up the advanced search options.
Use the Market search option to find Just the items you want to bid on! You can search by Player, League, Team, Name, Position, Bid Price, Tier or Player Rating to find the perfect addition to your line-up.
Make A Bid / Buy Now
Touch the item you want to place a bid on to bring up the bidding screen. Enter a price for your bid or use “Buy Now” to bypass the bidding and add the player into your roster.
If you want to list or sell a player tap the SELL button in the upper right of the Market Screen.
Tap the “My Listings” tab to see all of the active items you have listed. NOTE: If your item expires it will be returned to you and will no longer be listed on the “My Listings” tab.
Select and manage players from your Attack, Midfield, and Defence.
Your overall Team Rating is determined by the combined skills of all the players in your team. Adding higher-rated players will improve your team’s chances of victory!
Tap any player within your lineup to show their attributes and display your replacement players.
Drag better players from your reserve into the starting position to improve your team.
Don’t have any better players on your reserve? Visit the Store or Market!
If you Drag and Hold the item over the “Drag & Drop” slot, the attributes of both players will be compared.
Green attributes indicate the reserve player is better in this area, while Red attributes indicate the reserve player is worse.
Use this to build your team your way!
If you have multiple players across your line-up that are lower than a reserve player, tap the “Best Lineup” button to swap the lower-rated players with the stronger reserved players.
Live Events are a set of timed challenges shown on the Live Events Map.
Live Events can be individual or a set of grouped challenges.
Live Events can also be chained together requiring other events to be completed first.
Live Event Rewards
Completing individual or grouped Live Events will give you Coins and XP, while some challenges will also give you packs, individual items, tokens, and chances at greater rewards!
NOTE: Make sure to place any token gained from Live Events in its Plan!
This is VS Attack football!
You’ll play with your opponent simutaneously, so when one of you scores the other will know about it in real-time.
Choose a Tactic
Once you’ve found your opponent, you have a limited time to change your tactic.
Before the match starts you’ll get to know how you match-up against your opponent. The higher your OVR, the better your chances.
During the match your opponent will play their chances while you get to play yours.
Use predefined messages and emoticons to chat with your opponent.
Select a message from the messages list to send it to your opponent.
The messages received from your opponent will apear from the right side.
Win VS Attack matches to earn fans and promote to higher divisions.
Losing a lot VS Attack matches will eventually demote you to a lower division.
Higher Divisions give you better weekly rewards.
At the end of each week you receive your rewards based on your current Division, so climb to the next Division to increase your rewards.
Take your team through a 20-match-season against authentic Leagues. Try to gain enough Points to win the title!
Virtual Stick Control
Hold and move the Virtual Stick in the direction you want your player to move.
NOTE: You can always let go of the stick at any time and your player will continue to move automatically.
You can use touch controls at anytime, as well as switch back and forth between touch and button controls on the fly. Play the way you like or mix a bit of everything!
Offensive Skill Moves
You can Tap the SPRINT & SKILL button to perform a skill move while dribbling. Different players have different moves, so experiment and find the best ones’
To pass the ball, simply tap on another teammate, or in space for a through pass.
You can alternatively also press the PASS button and aim with the stick to pass to another player.
To shoot, simply swipe the screen in the direction you want the shot to go, the faster you swipe the stronger the shot will be. You can also just press the SHOOT button and aim with the stick, in this case, the longer you press the stronger the shot.
Anytime you want your player to sprint, simply Hold the SPRINT & SKILL button. To stop sprinting lust let go.
Note that this applies both for when you dribble the ball or when you’re defending.
When defending, either Tap the player you want to control or press the SWITCH button.
Additionally, we automatically switch to the closest defender on you only have to worry about getting the ball.
Simply Tap the opponent to have your player contain and automatically tackle the ball!
You can also Hold the SPRINT & TACKLE button to have your player perform the same action.
When taking a free kick, Swipe from the ball towards the goal to shoot. The speed of your swipe will determine the power and the shape will affect the spin. If you want to pass instead, simply tap on the desired teammate or into space.
To take a corner kick, Swipe from the ball towards the penalty box. The speed of your swipe will determine the power and the shape will affect the spin. Alternatively, you can tap on a teammate to have your player try to pass to him or into space.
On Penalty Kicks you can be shooting or saving. When shooting, simply swipe from the ball towards where you want to shot to go, the faster you swipe the stronger the shot will be. When saving, all you have to do is either Swipe or Tap towards a direction and the goalkeeper will jump there. Make sure you time it correctly to the incoming shot!
View Items is where you can see all of the items that you have earned throughout the game as well as any unclaimed items.
Navigate through your items by type using the Players, Tokens, and Unclaimed Items tabs.
If you have by many items, or just want to save a pack for later, it will be placed in the Unclaimed Items screen located in View Items within the My Team screen.
NOTE: Tapping on a pack will allow you to open it.
Player Item Bonuses
Player Bonus Items are players that provide attribute bonuses to other players on your team.
Place these players into your starting line-up to receive additional attribute, coin, or XP bonuses!
Be on the lookout for token items. These items can be used to complete Plans and unlock better players and bigger prizes!
There are four item hers available in the game.
Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Elite.
Bronze is obviously the lowest-rated items and players, while Elite is the highest.
Certain players will be part of specially themed Programs. These players can be used in Plans or added to your active lineup.
Be on the lookout for these players and be sure to look on the back of these players to see how they can be used!
Tactics are chosen in My Team or on the way into a match.
You can choose Attacking, Balanced, or Defensive Tactics. Your choice will affect your scoring chances while playing, but also your opponent’s chances.
Unlockign Play Styles
As you Level Up, you’ll unlock more Tactics. By default, all Basic Tactics are available. Over time, you’ll be able to use new Play Styles against different Formations. Experiment with them all, discover which best suit your personnel and style of play.
When selecting a lactic, tne last one you choose will be the one that others play against. Pro Tip: if you play Balanced, you’ll have good chances on your turn, but also be defensively formidable when your opponent plays.
Know the Score
Consider the current score before selecting a Tactic.
For example, if you have a comfortable lead, you may want to pick a Defensive Tactic. If you are way behind, perhaps you should select an Attacking Tactic.
Create a League
You’re able to create a League once you have reached Level 5. To do so, tap the create League button. You can set everything from your League’s icon to the difficulty of intra-League play.
You can edit all settings through your League settings.
Joining a League
To join a League, you must first Apply. Tap the Apply button on the League tile to start the process. Once you do, the League Owner will receive your Application.
You’ll receive a message if you have been accepted.
If a League member becomes abusive, you can report them by tapping on the offensive message REPORT ABUSE inside the Chat Window and selecting report. You can also report offensive League descriptions by tapping the report button on the CANCEL SEND back of the League tile.
Whenever a League member purchases FIFA Points the whole League benefits. By purchasing Points while being a member of a League, the other League members will receive a gift.
Gift values range with the amount of FIFA Points purchased. You can also earn a Badge for being a contributor to your League.
You and other League members will be able to Chat with each other in real time. Tap text box to start typing.
You can also mute League members by tapping on their messages and selecting mute. To unmute a member, go to your League settings and unmute them (Gear Button).
VIEW Your League Leaderboard provides a nice way to view who is best within different areas.
You can sort the Leaderboard by Leaders (Attack Mode play), Most Fans, Highest Player Level and Team OVR.
League Attack Mode
You can challenge any League members to a match by tapping on them and selecting play. You’ll be able to review previous turns and track your record against them.
These matches do not determine your internal League Leaderboard placement. League Championships will determine League Ranking.
Accessing League Tournaments
League Tournaments are Tournaments between two Leagues that have anywhere from 4v4 to 32v32 member matchups. You can access League Tournaments by tapping the Tournaments panel.
Create a Tournament
After tapping on the Tournaments panel, you’ll come to the Tournament search screen. Tap Find Opponent to set your team and select which League members will play in the Tournament and start your search for an opposing League.
You determine how many members will play and which ones by lapping the reserve and 0 active buttons. You will need a minimum of four members to compete. Larger Leagues will need to start more members. When you are done tap the Start Tournament button.
Finding Opposing Leagues
Searching for an opposing League can take a few minutes. You do not have to remain in the League search screen and your League will be notified when an opposing League has been found.
League Tournaments last for 24 hours. During that time, League members should each play all of their turns.
You can challenge any opponent, as long as they have a Play icon next to them.
Your League score is determined by how many goals your members score. The League with the most goals wins.
During a tournament you can view any opponent’s team as well as see what happened in a turn for all other competitors.
You’ll be able to Chat with your League-mates in real time by tapping the Chat button. You can also Chat with the other League, but be careful not to divulge your strategy.
Rewards and Earning
Whenever you complete a turn, you’ll earn Coins. When the Tournament ends, you’ll receive Bonus Coins, depending on whether your League Wins, Loses, or Draws. You can see what your Rewards will be by tapping the Rewards button on the Tournament screen.
Accessing League Championships
League Championships are bracketed Tournaments made up of members from just your League.
Create a Championship
On the League Championship screen you can view past Championships or create a new one.
To create a new Championship an Owner or admin must tap the Start a Championship Button.
Setting It Up
League Owners and admins set which members play in a Championship. The top three ranked members must be in the League Championship, while the rest of the members are optional.
They can also adjust settings of the Championship such as difficulty, seeding type, and round length.
After a League Championship has been started you’ll be notified if you’re in it.
When you go into the screen the brackets will be seeded and you’ll play your turns against your opponent. The team with the most goals wins.
League Championships are broken up into rounds and each round has a time limit.
If everyone finishes early the next round will start earlier, but still end at the same time as it would have before.
Byes gives you an Instant Win and may be given due to an unevenly filled bracket or if someone forfeits a round.
League Championships will i determine the Rank of the members within a League.
The top three League members in a Championship have to play in the next Tournament to defend their title.
In League Championships, there are no Draws if the scores are equal: the user who has the higher League Ranking Wins.
Even if you lose, you can still place higher than others who’ve lost in your round. Do so by Winning more matches, scoring more goals, and doing it quickly.
League Achievements are earned from the combined efforts of each League member.
Rewards earned from League Achievements will be granted to the League members once the achievement has been completed. If you have already earned a reward with one League, you cannot earn it again with another.
Tap on a Counter Slot to bring up the list of Tactics you can Counter.
As you level up, you’ll gradually unlock more Counter Slots. Will you Counter certain Play Styles? Or how about Countering, say, all of the 4-3-3 based Tactics? You decide.
The Active Tactic is a convenience to streamline your way into matches. But if it’s Countered (note the purple colour), that’s a problem, isn’t it? Pick something else!
Thanks to Counter Attacks, it’s now possible for you to earn a Goal through no effort of your own. Even if you are behind and finished your last turn, you can still win!
