How to Play Champions League in FIFA 15

There is no official UEFA Champions League tournament in FIFA 15 as EA Sports do not have the license for it. But, using the Tournament Mode in FIFA 15, you can setup a tournament similar to UEFA Champions League and simulate the tournament in FIFA 15 game.

Before we go and create a UEFA CL tournament in FIFA 15, lets just review the current UEFA Champions League (2014/2015) teams and groups, and most importantly, see which current UEFA CL teams are not available in FIFA 15:

As you can see above, there are 4 teams that are not available in FIFA 15. You can replace these teams with some other teams from the rest of the world teams or any other leagues you like. Here is our suggestion for the replacement:

- Ludogorets Razgrad > Panathinaikos (Rest of the World)
- APOEL > PAOK (Rest of the World)
- Maribor > Rangers (Rest of the World)
- BATE Borisov > Amkar Perm (Russian League)

After deciding on this, you can start setting up UEFA CL tournament in FIFA 15 by following these steps:


Go to PLAY > CUSTOM TOURNAMENT menu in FIFA 15.
Select tournament type Group & Knockout
Set number of teams to 32
Auto fill teams option should be set to NO
You can name the tournament UEFA CL
Advanced setting should be turned ON

Now go advance and do the following changes:


Subs on Bench: 5
Select Cup: Cup 5
Final Stadium: Olympiastadion
Final Match Legs: 1
Teams Per Group: 4
Teams Advancing / Group: 2
Fixtures v Group Teams: 2
Knockout Round Fixtures: 2

Then go ahead and select the teams as the above group list. After this, re-arrange the group as the current UEFA Champions League standings shown above.

Now you can save your tournament and enjoy the game!
