FC 27 Difficulty Levels

EA Sports FC 27 Difficulty Levels

EA Sports FC 27 includes several difficulty levels for matches played against CPU AI. These settings affect how smart, aggressive, and responsive the computer-controlled team feels during gameplay. Difficulty options are available across most offline and single-player modes, although some modes may lock or limit the available level.

  • Beginner - The easiest setting, ideal for brand-new players.
  • Amateur - A forgiving level for learning the basics.
  • Semi-Pro - A balanced option for casual players.
  • Professional - A more realistic challenge for experienced players.
  • World Class - A difficult level with smarter AI and stronger pressure.
  • Legendary - A very challenging setting for advanced players.
  • Ultimate - The toughest CPU difficulty, mainly used in Ultimate Team and high-level single-player challenges.

Difficulty is usually selected before a match from the Game Settings menu. Once the match begins, the difficulty level cannot normally be changed until the game ends.

In Ultimate Team single-player modes, higher difficulty levels can increase match rewards, but they also make the AI harder to beat.

Difficulty Breakdown

Each difficulty level changes how the CPU behaves on the pitch, including attacking decisions, defensive positioning, goalkeeper reactions, pressing, marking, and passing speed. The table below gives a general overview of how each level affects AI performance.
