Rush Rules & Regulations
Rush mode features its own distinct rules and regulations, including the following:
Pitch Size and Lines
The Rush pitch is approximately 63.7 by 46.6 meters, about 41.5% of a standard pitch. It’s designed for lateral play, with larger penalty areas and marked thirds to indicate where offsides begin.
Match Length and Tie-breaking
Matches are 7 minutes long with no half-time, using a “Buzzer Beater” rule for shots as the clock hits zero. If tied, the game moves to Golden Goal Extra Time and potentially 1-on-1 penalty shootouts.
Attacking Third Offside
Offside is enforced within the final third of the pitch, using dotted lines as markers.
Blue Cards
Severe fouls result in a blue card, sidelining players for 1 minute. Two yellow cards equal a blue card, and three blue cards lead to a forfeiture.
Subs, Stamina, and Injuries
No substitutions; short-term stamina only affects play. Injuries and long-term stamina depletion aren’t factors in Rush.
Set Pieces
Streamlined for quick play, with indirect free kicks and specific restart locations for players.
1-on-1 Penalty Kicks
Penalty kicks and shootouts feature direct confrontations between a kicker and the goalkeeper, with other players spectating.
