FC Coins
FC coins are a virtual currency in EA Sports FC Ultimate Team and EA Sports FC Mobile video games that can be spent for purchasing packs from the in-game store, buying items and cards from the Transfer Market, and paying for some Ultimate Team entries, such as Draft mode entries.
History
Previously known as FIFA Coins, the coins were added to EA Sports FIFA Ultimate Team as a virtual currency since the Ultimate Team mode became available in FIFA 09. As EA rebranded their FIFA games to EA Sports FC in 2023, FIFA Coins were renamed to FC Coins in the FC 24 game.
Earning FC Coins
You can earn coins in FC Ultimate Team game mode and FC Mobile game using the following methods:
- Playing matches
- Selling items on the Transfer Market
- Selling items using the Quick Sell option
- Completing Objectives
- Receiving coins as competition rewards
Rate & Value
There is not a fixed value for a FC coin in real money. However, if you want to evaluate the effort needed to earn FC coins by playing Ultimate Team matches, one FC coin is approximately estimated at around USD 0.0002. Meaning, $1 is almost equal to 5,000 FC coins.
Trading Coins with Real Money
Buying and selling FC coins are considered against EA Sports' Terms of Service, in other words, buying and selling FC coins are illegal and by doing this you put your Origin account at the risk of getting banned permanently by EA.
