The Most Dangerous Players to Target in EA FC 25

EA FC 25

As fans’ excitement gathers pace following the release of the EA Sports FC 25 trailer, players are beginning to assess just who they can purchase on the game. While player ratings aren’t clear yet, the usual candidates are likely to be right up there, given their showings in the last year or so.

Whether you’re aiming to embark on a career mode or snap up some of the game’s most talented players for your Ultimate Team, there is likely to be an extensive range of top players you can acquire for your squad. Not every player with a higher rating than the rest is necessarily what your particular set of players needs, though. As always, cohesion is important, and you’ll need to obtain players that make your side well-balanced, in sync, and most importantly, dangerous.

Of course, you can load up on the biggest and best players from the world of football, but there is a distinct possibility that it won’t come together as planned. With EAFC 25 promising to provide a realistic football gaming package, building a balanced squad is arguably more important than ever before. For example, after purchasing some of Real Madrid’s attack, players might want to add more pace to their backline instead of signing the defenders the Spanish giants have to offer. Likewise, height up front might be a necessity for players who favor crossing in the game. Additionally, some players want strong midfield linchpins instead of the more lightweight options that many teams possess.

So, without further ado, let’s assess a range of dangerous players who are more than likely to be targeted by EAFC 25 players when the game is released later this year.

Haaland, Mbappe, and Kane Will Be Popular

Somewhat unsurprisingly given the talent they all evidently possess, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, and Harry Kane will be the main goal machines in the game once again. These days, there aren’t too many out-and-out strikers around, with there being only a handful of truly world-class goal-getters to target. One of them is certainly Manchester City’s Norwegian beast, a team many fans of Premier League football will be backing for another campaign full of victories when it comes to live betting during matches. Haaland, who scored 27 league goals last season, is proven in the best league around. In fact, the former Dortmund frontman has scored an astonishing 105 goals in just 98 games for Pep Guardiola’s side.

No player scored more goals than Harry Kane last campaign, though, with the former Spurs man recording an outrageous tally of 36 goals from just 32 games during his debut season in the Bundesliga. Real Madrid’s marquee signing, Kylian Mbappe, is another dangerous proposition many players will adore playing as in EAFC 25. Despite failing to turn it on during Euro 2024, Mbappe’s quality is clear. Now, with players like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior to provide him with the service he perhaps lacked at times during his PSG career, Mbappe is going to be one of the game’s deadliest attackers. All three players’ ratings are unknown at the time of writing, but a 91 rating for them seems about right given their exploits in the last year or so.

Bellingham and Foden Will Be Common Picks

After contributing towards Real Madrid’s 15th Champions League title by adding nine goals in 11 Champions League appearances and scoring 25 goals in 28 La Liga appearances, Jude Bellingham’s stock has risen even further since joining the club last summer. A rating of 90 is predicted for the England star, although it could be higher given his undoubted quality at the tender age of just 21. One of the favorites for this year’s Ballon d’Or prize, the midfielder is a professional many EAFC players will be desperate to land.

Should Jude Bellingham’s acquisition prove tricky for whatever reason, then there are plenty of other options in his position that are capable of making a real difference to your team. One of them will almost certainly be Phil Foden, Manchester City and England’s playmaker who won EA Sports’ Player of the Season award last campaign. Foden had the season of his life, with many fans of the game suggesting that his rating could be similar to Bellingham’s. Regardless of whether it is or not, Phil Foden’s card is likely to be a strong one, with his low center of gravity and ability on the ball making him a tricky opponent to come up against.

Salah and Messi Will Also Be Targeted

In terms of left-footed attackers that can potentially help to bring even more balance to your team, it’s hard to look past both Mo Salah and Lionel Messi. Despite failing to lift a trophy last season during Jurgen Klopp’s last-ever campaign managing his beloved club, Liverpool’s key man is still a world-class name many EAFC players will look to purchase. Salah is getting on a bit, though, with the 32-year-old’s card potentially looking weaker than many are predicting. Regardless, the Egyptian star surely won’t experience too much of a decline, leaving many players with a seriously strong option should they look to add even more quality in attack.

Lionel Messi is another player the EAFC community will be looking at, with the undisputed legend potentially having an 88 rating in the game. The Copa America winner’s natural ability hasn’t vanished despite being aged 37, with the Argentine icon likely to be a popular pick among managers when the game is released. The 2022 World Cup winner is clearly declining and both him and Cristiano Ronaldo are now closer to receiving their icon cards than reliving the days when their base ratings stood at 94 each, but the Barcelona legend is still more than capable of shining on the biggest stages around. Should your squad require one of the sport’s most masterful talents to help elevate it further, then Messi is still the man to rely on.
