hi,
i´d like to have the national anthems at the beginning of a nations match.
a mode called world cup to play, to choose a nation, see, its have to be a gib game with a lot modes.
champions league usw.
and i want indoor soccer like in fifa 98, that were cool.
and what is important for making the game more interesting, a coin toss before the match starts.
and when the captain of a team will be changed he should take of his captain sleeve and give it the substitute player.
and in the menu i want a penalty kick mode that will make a lot of fun.

I know how hard it is at fifa09 to deal with all the comments and ideas but i think most of them are excellent and you should listen to us as we are FIFA. You create it and we bring it to life…. Thank You

can you make the comentator read names of created players, clubs and stadiums.

These are the things that would make FIFA 09 the best soccer game:
1- More leagues/tournaments/cups. For example: colombian league, argentine league, egyptian league, greek league, Euro, Copa America, Gold Cup, African Cup of Nations, World Cup, Confederations Cup, Copa Libertadores/Sudamericana, World Club Cup.
2- More international countries. For example: Colombia(they deserve it. they have been playing good the past two years), Ivory Coast(awesome team), Ghana, Egypt(African Cup Winners!), Togo, Angola, Mali, Holland’s real sqaud(the most obvious one).
3- More stadiums. FIFA 08 did not even have one of the most famous stadiums, the Santiago Bernabeu! Every team from the EPL, La Liga, and Serie A should have its own stadium. And for the rest of the leagues there should be at least 7 to 10 stadiums. For example: Estadio El Campin, Home Depot Center, City of Manchester Stadium, Villa Park, Reebok Stadium, Santiago Bernabeu.
4- Create Stadiums(like in FIFA Street 2), Teams, and Players.
5- More and Different commentators. Try having Spanish commentators. For each league have different commentators. If I am playing La Liga I should have the choice of having a Spanish commentator. For example: try getting those commentators from ESPN that commentate the Champions League(Derek Rae and Tommy Smyth I believe is their names) or the spanish commentators that commentate the Copa Libertadores/Sudamericana on Fox Sports en Espanol.
6- Career mode should also be available for soccer players. It’ll be like be-a-pro mode. Every player has their own storyline.For example: start with cristiano ronaldo. then sporting lisbon sees him play and they buy. then depending on how well he plays manchester(if he plays good) or a worse team(if he plays bad) will buy him. then the story continues.
7- Show the ref and the linesmen while were playing. Show the 4th official showing how much time is left.
8- Show the manager and the players in a press conference or interview after the game.
9- In Manager Mode, training should be included. We, the managers, decide what the practice will be like and show how the training is going and who’s working hard and who’s not.
10- Interactive Crowds. For example: Booing a player who is playing bad. Applauding a player who is playing good or making good tackles. Fans holding banners.The characteristics of each team’s fans doing what they do. Liverpool fans singing you’ll never walk alone, Real Madrid fans banging the drums, Boca Juniors fans singing and chanting, Houston Dynamo fans throwing paper streamers to the field, Toronto FC fans throwing pillows to the field.
11- In Manager Mode, when you get to level 10 you get called to be the manager of your country. Then you get to play for your county’s regional tournament(for example if your managing argentina, you play in the Copa America). Then you have to qualify to the World Cup and then if you do, you play in the World Cup.
12- Show the commentators in the beginning.
13- Get better FA Cup, Carling Cup, and Champions League licensing.
14- Have a soccer show focusing on what happened over the weekend in the league.
15- A FIFA newspaper after each game summarizing the games. Show highlights of other games in the league.
16- An Awards Show at the end of the year.
17- Real sponsors for Manager Mode and etc.
18- In Manager Mode, be able to change uniform after season is over.
19- FIFA 09 Extras- Videos, Pictures, Interviews, EPL Season Review 07-08 , La Liga Season Review 07-08
20- When we win a cup or league make it better. For example: When Manchester United won the league a platform was set up.
21- Better music. More popular music.
22- Before a game show whats around the stadium. For example: If playing at Manchester City show the buildings and houses outside of the stadium.
23- In Manager Mode: Start from a lower team and work your way up.
24- FUTSAL tournament and league.
25- Beach soccer tournaments and leagues.
26- Maybe womens’ soccer?
26- Different temperatures and climates- Snowing, muddy, humid
27- Smoke and fire crackers in Italian Stadiums.
28- Cut scenes of people in the stadims chanting, applauding, etc.
29- Practice matches on the team’s trainiing grounds.
30- Interactive kits. For example: You are Manchester United(home jersey) and you are versing Tottenham(home jersey) you should should have the option to change Manchester’s shorts to black.
These things would make FIFA 09 better. Please accept our ideas. After all, its us that buy the games.

1. you shouldn’t hav 2 unlock things such as kits,boots, exp points etc.
2. the ref on the pich

4. create a stadium option so every team can hav their own stadium
5. the ability to dive and do deliberatly dangerous tackles (like in this is football)
6. be able to react to tackles angrily and attack the other players
7. show scuffles on and off the pitch
8. personalise everry team’s tunnell
9. more realistic faces for players (gaby agbonlahor looks like he is tryin 2 swallow concentrated lemon juice)
10. the ability to deliberatly handle the ball
11. show the teams warming up in the gear they wear warming up… not the kits
12.have a few real tv brands such as sky sports and setanta sports 4 the premiership and bbc 4 the fa cup and itv and the likes 4 european compotitions
13. have the UEFA champions league and the UEFA cup not the ecc.
14. score updates during matches from other matches going on at the time
15. a proper freekick system where you can choose the type of free kick you take eg. shot at goal layoff and shot cross and different types of freekick eg.ronaldo style riise style
16. MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! be able to choose how much tape a player wears on their ankles eg torres and nani wearin it from the endsof their boots up to the end of their shinguards, wearing a huge amount of tape like rozehnal or adebayor.
17. be able 2 select positions 4 your players to take up 4 set plays eg. bringing centre backs up 4 corners and putting them in a particular position at the goal
18. when trying to break a team down late in the game and dominating have the keeper out far naturaly and make him be able 2 take throw ins and free kicks anywhere in his own half
19. be able 2 take quick free kicks and throw ins to cattch the other team out of position
20. be able to make players moan at the ref and linesmen and get booked 4 it
21. be able 2 wear the long sleeve tight thermal tops under a short sleeve jersey
22. more hairstyles and celebrations.
23. be able to make created players up to about 90 without having to make them grow in manager mode
24.show players warming up on the sidelines
25.show substitutes interacting with each other and show the 4th official holding up the board with the numbers and 4 stoppage time
26. show the players coming out and lining up properly like at the start of a match.
27. have the club’s signature anthems being sung at the start and end of every match eg you’ll never walk alone and play up pompey
28. have more hostile and louder atmospheres when he big 4 play eg. liverpool fans getting on the chelsea fans back, man u in city etc.

Celtic Park has to be in it!
There is no atmosphere to rival the cauldron that is Celtic Park. Why it is not in the game is a mystery to me, especially when Celtic are one of the world’s largest clubs.
Please, please, include Celtic Park. (Hampden & Ibrox would be nice too).

I have PS2
1) I don’t take money from the sponsors
2) I shoot out and the commentator says “great save by the goalkeeper”
3) The pre-season friendlies are placed after the end of the period
4) I win a game and afterwards i am asked what this defeat mean to the team
Since 1998 i bought 5 Fifa and 3 NBA if you don’t do good job for PS2 just tell us to buy PS3 at least, to not loose our money in games which have a lot of mistakes…

Be able to be a chairman and start off with amount of money so you can uy a small club then when your club gets bigger and better sell it and buy an even bigger club with the money until you the richest chairman.

Manager Mode
1. Manager to be sat on the bench watching the game
2. Walk to the touch line to shout out instructions to team or an individual player
3. Play as a created manager or an existing club manager (Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Roy Keane, Marco Van Basten, Fabio Capello, Luiz Filipe Scolari etc)
4. Argue a decision made with officials (Why was your player sent off? Why was the opposing player not booked? Why didn’t you get a penalty etc)
5. Press interviews involving players your interested in signing, new signings, players you have released etc
6. Play match or watch from the bench
7. When you create a manager chose 3 goal celebration for different occasions (Late Winner, Derby Match, Main Vivals such us United Vs Liverpool Arsenal Vs Chelsea, United Vs City etc)
Other Stuff
1. Interactive Kits (Usual = Red Top, White Shorts, White Socks. 2nd Choice = Red Top, Black Shorts, Black Socks. 3rd Choice = Red Top, Black Shorts, Black Socks etc. Same for away kits and Choice of keeper kits - United home keeper kit is blue but gets a big confusing when your playing Chelsea and their in home kit too)
2. Be A Pro… For a season not just “Offline Training” (XBox 360)
3. Be A Pro… If your chosen player is injured you can not change players. You watch from the bench and go to physio etc until your all sorted and available to play again
4. Different injuries. Players occasionally break a leg or a foot. Show your players injury as a medical report such as x-rays and scans
5. Visable officials
6. Subs warming up on the side line.
7. CELEBRATIONS!!! Put decent and more updated celebrations on (eg. Nani flips, Rooney pulling his ears and puffing cheeks, remove shirt and go mental for a late winner in BIG matches)
8. Argue with the ref. Different buttons for your reaction (A = Calm, B = Argue amount of times foul commited, X = Ask for player to be booked or booked again - Ref may react by issuing yourself with a card depending on your official and game)
9. Use of camera to put yourself in the game as a created player.
10. Selection of 200 most popular surnames in the UK to be used for your created player so commentators can comment on you as a player
11. Choice of commentators
12. More interactive fans
13. Create a team, kit and a stadium (More detailed kit designs)

I´m from Brazil and I think that´s important have the possibilty to create any teams and leagues that you want. Here in Brazil(A large country and the best soccer in the world), we have a lot of regional leagues and we only can play with 30 teams. I have a XBOX 360 and I only can play in sunny days, why?
I think that some importants Stadium must be on the game, like the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro.
This year the trainning mode is poor.It must be increased.

ill start by what you need to add:
-dives they are essanciel to the game its called football theres some bad play and some good play
-the offsides are a bit ridiculous i meen i always get on offside when my guy is on the line usualy what happens is my guy is not offside but the red line is so i dont understand that
-make the powerful free kicks easier to score the noral ones are perfect but when u add power (on xbx 360 lb+shoot button) the keeper always does a miraculous save!
now some questions or some facts that could bring alot to the game:
-is an xbox 360 or a ps3 capable of knowing what is a brilliant goal and what isnt?
if so, you NEED to add goals of the season
-when you watch a match on tv and a player misses but not by much a goal and the game is still playing (could be a save etc..\) when you finaly reach your stopage time (could be a throw in) they show the action of before try doing that if you can.
-add more cu scenes e.g when i take out 3 players for subs only one apears
thats unrealistic plus its always the same cut scenes make alot
-u have to add more goal celebrations some are pitifull like that punchin in the air like a criplled man is stupid look at nanni when he scores or martins the have celbrations!
-when a players played well in a match e.g nanni against arsenal,he received a huge aplause by the crowd add that aswell
-your goal is to make the game realistic right? then the minimum is to add a decent crowd not 5 men with a white t shirt tucked in!
add a massive crowd with replica shirts that stand up when theres a good actions that celbrates when u score a goal etc.. please please please add all this if you can it would make fifa 09 game of the year if you add all this they wont be any compition with pes anymore your victory is in between ur hands my padowons!!!!

The Over-arching theme is REALISM
1.) Stadiums; while the Stadium detail is so much better this year in 08 it’s not the quality that is lacking, it’s the QUANTITY! I am sick of tired of playing every away match at “Estadio De Las Artes”. Big Clubs all need to have their home stadiums on the game. White Hart Lane, Espanyol’s venue, City of Manchester, Ewood Park, Goodison Park, Juventus’ venue, French Ligue 1 stadiums, and try to get some MLS stadiums, Pizza Hut Park, Home Depot, Columbus, RFK, it’s the only thing that keeps me from playing MLS teams!
2.) Edit player in Manager Mode
3.) More responsive skill moves, I expect to do a step over when I hit step over, not a 360 turn that will cause me to lose possession.
4.) Get the UEFA sponsorship done! I am sick of playing for the ECC title.
5.) I don’t know about on XBox but on PS3 the manager mode’s day/night games are completely linked to the Kick Off day or night games. If you play a friendly between LFC and Man U and select “Night” then all of the games in Manager Mode are at night.
6.) Weather; this is the first FIFA where it doesn’t rain or the pitch isn’t wet. “Overcast and no rain” needs to be integrated as well, the last time I checked it’s not that sunny in England or France.
7.) “ECC” games need to be defaulted to under night.
8.) Player likeness, Few FIFA 08 players truely resemble their real-life counterparts, better digital photo-imaging needs to be introduced.
9.) Competition in the league needs to be tougher in every mode from Amateur to Pro. I shouldn’t be 12 points ahead in the league in the middle of November. The CPU should react to this like it does in Tiger Woods.
10.) Roaming Ref, I need to see the ref when I am playing.
11.) A more responsive first touch; if I want to change directions with the ball (eg with the right analog stick) when I change the ball shouldn’t shoot 10 yards in that direction, the body should just naturally move with the ball in a change of direction.

the players should put their arms up for a pass, to demonstrate inocence once they have made a tackle or frustration on a poor pass. also of the ball control would be good. maybe change the right anlogue stick to this function so you can control 2 players at a time

i think u guys should have more new cups coming up and get more different scouts better and young. Get the argentina league n all over the world leagues like chile, ecuador n other countries. Have the UEFA cup. and please let us coch the internationls and have that on maneger mode and put the world cup thats coming up in 2010 it would be better to put that on maneger mode and different kinds of footballs during maneger mode i mean i love fifa but we need more cups, more better talent , better scouts and different around the world not the same scout from the same place. would you the sub 17 and 23 internations on maneger mode as well. and let it have the 2nd divions for every league like mexican league. love the graphics but would be better if it can get a lil more realistic. The controls were better from 07. oh yea and some good rap music would be cool. better far away shots and cures well thats all i can think of but i hope u can put this things that i said thanks for letting me speek out love u fifa.

Have reserves and youth in team on manager mode. Also in the transfer market you should be able to buy and sell coaching staff.

I think you need to introduce the CIS cup to the scottish league, and add the lower divisions to the scottish league, because playing aginst the same teams every season get a bit boring. Also some of the more important leagues such as Ukraine, Russia and Greece, or at least put the big teams in the rest of the world league. Also i think you should be able to edit all the teams, changing thigs such as strips, and stadiums.

I can’t believe that people’s ideas for fifa 09 are hardly to do with the game play. I have stopped playing fifa because of the unfairness of when the play swings to a team even without them playing well.
You score the other team scores straight away unfairly. the game wants a goal scored before half time, 8, 9 minutes of overtime is played until a goal is scored.
there seems to be vulnerable times of a game when a goal is likely to be scored. the goal can be rubbish but if a poor attack is done before half time more than likely a goal will be scored. a good attack and shot is not rewarded and the way goals are scored are usually done in the same way pass across goal and it gets tapped in even if 3 defenders are inbetween the the two attacking player the ball seems to ghosts throught the defenders to the attacker. A great goal if scored in real life but most goals are not scored like that.
So what fifa 09 needs is a game where the best player will win. I know in the real game a weaker side can win and goals can be scored when the play isn’t with scoring team but this a computer game and there are some things that cannot be replicated in a computer game
teams to be far more even no ridiculously good strong players that can run through tackles (no skill) and most importantly the play should not swing to a team it should all be equal or an option that makes it equal.
my friend can’t play liverpool v Man U in ‘08 because of the difference in quality between the teams. we just want a fair game!

u should be able to creat a player and start in the back streets with mats and work you way throw the ranks. a good example of this is the free online game (jumpers for goalposts) something like that idea. it would be CLASS.

Even more in-depth manger/ career mode, like pre season games etc. maybe make it more like FIFA manager.
Pompey_Boy’s idea of Superstar mode will be awesome, madden is one of the worlds greatest games because of the superstar mode so it could make FIFA even more popular.

A superstar mode like they have on the Madden NFL game will work really well. Also making stadiums for the teams in the Premiership i.e Portsmouth-Fratton Park and Manchester Cty- The City Of Manchester Stadium. Making fans sing more chants will be good for the next game, like Liverpool fans singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and animating the crowds more for the sings e.g. Liverpool fans all holding their scarfs up and waving flags at the Kop end.
Keep up the good work guys, it is a great game.

fifa on the ps3 is the best gr8 work guys
however, the soundtrack is rubbish
and also, i play a bit in the serie a, i love the growth system but it is so hard for up and coming stars to become good, players like Juan vargas and Hamsyk r like in the 50, it needs to b more accurate
And also i am a Roma fan, u r far to harsh on our players….how can Doni not even b in the 80…dida is look at him, rubbish, and also aquilani, taddei n panucci r better in real life than the stats u have given them, please give the players in the serie a the apropriate skill stat
my only problem with the game play is mainly free kicks, so hard u need to be able to practise them with a wall, not just 1 on 1 wit the keeper, n i like the sound of wat marty magoo suggested with the use of controls 4 free kicks

Again just mentioning things that have already been mentioned, but the ones that i think would make a valuable addition to the game as many opinions should be sought in order to get a good variety of choices.
1. Definitely upgrade creation zone, it is VERY difficult to make a player even resembling yourself. With creation zone, allowing more options for boots and player wear without having to unlock everything. That is not an incentive to play more, it’s just irritating when you have no options. Many more hair styles and celebrations. Giving players the ability to change the look of the player between matches so you are not stuck on one look forever, who doesn’t change their hair style for an entire season?
2. Stadium creation i think would be a great idea, on UEFA Champions League they have the super stadium. If you could create stadiums like that for your own club and have fans wearing your colors, allowing you to create banners to be held up in the crowd. Choosing songs and chants for your fans to use.
3. Linesmen and referees is one thing that fifa has been missing out on, they are a great addition in PES, shame the game sucks to play. Along with player and coach reactions on the sidelines to events transpiring on the field.
4. The ability to manipulate players such as diving if you feel a foul has been committed, or try to run your way out of a tackle if you think you can create an opportunity. Also having the ability to take exception to harsh tackles, getting up in players faces and letting your feelings known. Maybe having this affect players composure, if you manage to get the other players riled up and drop their composure so they don’t play as well under pressure.
5. Someone said the ability to recognise other players intentions such as a good pass, recognised with a thumbs up or getting upset if they do not do as you ask. This can affect the players composure and team chemistry.
6. Pitch variations according to the weather and surface type.

Maybe something like a story mode. where you take a player through the ranks and different clubs. love the idea of dodgy offside and crap pitches. maybe something like that artficial grass in russia. Oh and make the exp work better. if a playere has a craker of season then he goes up dramatically, because at the moment they all seem go up levels roughly the same

Make fifa O9 grafics better then fifa 08 grafics make the referices more meaner make them give more yellow and red cards.Also and put a lot of new stadiams like the mexican stadiam Corona of Santos of the mexican leage and the stadiam azul of Cruz Azul in the mexican leage and the stadiam 3 de Marzo of Tecos in the mexican and stadiam Volcan of Tigres UANL and the stadiam boombonera of toluca of the mexican leage

Make international manager season, also during manager mode you should be able to control and run the practices like juggleing, scrimmages, ext. Also make it realistic on the field showing all refs, players expressions and people in stands. There should be more features in create a players and there should be a create a stadium.

How about implementing the “back-pass rule”. I hate it when players pass the ball to their goalie and he just picks it up. I really think this is something that should be and could be implemented

Show Refs, linesman and the cup being lifted, more leagues like the blue square premier

Use of the Sixaxis on PS3 in FIFA 09 for freekicks. Turn Left or Right for swerve, Also perhaps when playing long through balls have use of Sixaxis for backspin or topspin of the ball.. I’m starting to sound like tigerwoods now.. But you get the idea.
Manager mode should be just like creating a player, you are essentially creating a manager so why there more create options for your manager and not just their name, is beyond me.
Be a Pro is great, but I’d like to see more players involved or perhaps introduce 5 a side football again as I remember it was on Fifa previously.
Also with Be a Pro, you can’t give credit to players, but you can call for a pass, go for goal and play a through ball with the d pad. I’d like to see one option for giving player credit for his through ball for example where the player does a thumbs up or when giving the ball away you see the player screaming at him.
There’s some good suggestions on here as there is, that’s all I’ve got to add for now.

you should put the song klaxons golden skans cos that sounds so fifa and its good
1- in manager mode make it so that you can actually be real manager like alex ferguson.
2-make alot more stadiums on the xbox 360 cos im a spurs and was very disappointed with fifa to find out that white hart lane was on every other console apart from next gen consoles
3- A few more leagues PLEASE
4- more proper player faces cos its really annoying to see ur favourite player ruined by a weird face I HOPE YOU DO THIS! THAT WOULD MAKE ME SO HAPPY!

an after thought-
Splitt screen when your in a promotion decider or relegation or title clash, i.e seeing the rival teams goals or incidents that change the course of possible relegation or promotion

1)all premiership stadiums, maybe even some lower league stadia such as Selhurst pk
2)Crowd reactions such as walking out early if your getting stuffed 5-0, thats real football
3)Visible referee and linesman and occasionally getting in the way or knocked over like the real thing, and occasional referee mistakes i.e. Graham poll
4)Better celebrations when you go up or win a trophey i.e. confetti and medals PES does this already and its pretty good
5) Manager and bench reaction to incidents maybe a scuffle or two between both benches
6)More indepth commentary that doesn’t tell you the match is still close when your 5-0 down out halftime
7)Do away with the prematch sequence when players are squatting in the tunnel being forced onto the pitch by another player, no team does that, in turn change the tunnel area’s coz they don’t all look the same
8)Dodgy offside’s
9)Better weather conditions, boggy pitches making the ball either stick or skim at speed sometimes causing keeper mistakes, lumpy goalmouths causing the ball to skip as it reaches the keeper maybe causing a miskick
10) the option to dive in order to get a penalty or freekick in a good position
