what i would love to see on manager mode:
if you dont like the team you are managing you can quit when ever you want a join a different team
* insted of the normal days being simulated i can chose what you want to do like make a transfer. Thanks

Ok, my ideas have probally been already said a hundred times but here they are anyway. Fifa 08 was a fantastic game but was just missing a few little details which would make it the ultimate football game. Heres a few ideas for Fifa 09,
- Referee on the pitch, able to interact with players and the ball to hit them
- Linesmen running down the pitch with flags
- More stadiums for smaller clubs in the bigger leauges (JJB Stadium, Upton Park, Craven Cottage would be welcomed)
- More commentator lines, they can become very repetitive after many games.
- Interactive crowd (they chant louder, throw back the ball if it is hit to them, start to ‘boo’ if a player if performing bad etc)
- Having referees and linesmen not always doing the correct desision, making mistakes which cost goals (offsides for example)
- Make manager mode have less seasons in my opinion and be able to go into the World Cup (say you complete 9 seasons with your club, after that you get a message asking if you want to take on the national squad)
- More things to do in manager mode which affect players on the pitch (example, if a player has been out all night drinking, they perform bad. Or if they get bad publicity, the crowd will ‘boo’ them everytime they get the ball)
- Cut scenes of you the manager making press conferences (managers should be able to be customized with clothing which can be unlocked ) and you can select several phrases to read out which will affect the club
- As mentioned before, when in manager mode, just get more stadiums because it is SOOO boring to play at the same freek’in place, day in day out. I think EACH premier leuge team deserves their own stadium.
- Also I would like to see if a person badly tackles another, a cut scene appears and they are both having an argument whislt the referee is trying to settle it. This then allows you to choose options like “apologise to player� . “argue about tackle� , “argue to referee� . The more you argue, the referee is likely to give the player a yellow card or even red.

for fifa 09 there should be the lower scottish devision leagues and all the real stadiums and under 21 teams

In fifa manager career have a mode you can use so you get at feeling that you are the coach and you decide whats right and wrong. to choose from. Like making 1 or 2 players to be the star profiles in your club. So you have a closer look at them in a season.
Then you get a mode called “ a close view of the stars�.

We must see refs and lineos on the pitch. Stokes Britannia stadium in the game. Also lets see the manager shouting and pointing at players shaking his head or celebrating if you score or concede a goal. Forth official holding up the subs board.

Hey everybody. I am a big Fifa fan, and here, i have some ideas for the next Fifa.
1. More realistic players. also in the smaller leagues. too many players looked the same.
more face body language, like smiling when they win and looking sad when loosing.
2. More teams from the russian, bulgarian, rumanian, greek and russian league like in rest of world.
3. More banners on the stadiums, flags, more realistic fans with there own t-shirt from its favorit team. more crowd songs and more atmosphere.
also before and after the match begin.
see the players warm up and see them clap the the supporters or trading shirts after the match and so on.
4. More stadiums, and more different whether, like raining snow and so on.
5. It could be fun if every country could have there own commentators in the game. like in denmark you have danish commentators and so on.
6. A bad thing i fifa 08 is that there isn`t any players or staff or any trainer at the bench outside the pitch. only an empty bench and that is a big mistake for the realistics in the game.
also with the linesmen and the referee.
7. It could be fun if you could see a press conferences. like in transfer a player or the manager is sacked or change club and so on.
8. More training, like getting training mode in manager mode.
9. The system in free kicks and corners could be improved.
10. More things to do in manager mode which affect players on the pitch
11. Let the players in the manager mode have more feelings, angry if they dont play the important matches and have more rivals between the clubs, more info on the pitch, like how many corners you have and shots on goal an so on.
12. It could be fun if the commentators could say something about the different players performance in the match, and also when you see the tactics when the players go on the field have a comment on the players the system and the teams chances in the match.
13. Before a match start in manager mode, it could be nice if fifa made a “close view of the stars”, from each team, where they take plays against each others, so you can see how they do in the season.
14. Update in manager mode when you playing a match, and where you get updates from the other matches there is playing the same time.
15. More fight in the match more argument.
Hope some of this ideas could be in the next fifa 09, i can`t wait.

i’d like to see a more free flowing football game. To me anyway the game plays too slow make it quicker. None of the midfield or full backs support the strikers unless you run with them or you pass with them and press L1 (ps3 version) and they run foward in one direction a straight line unrealistic! i want to know why you put the foward run tactic in when it doesn’t work waste of time. Another thing is the shooting which is the fundamental part of a football game is off in 08; yea you can score the odd screamer but I personally believe it is worse than past Fifa versions maybe it is because of the net not rippling or you have to be perfectly balanced? Also as everyone is saying more cutscenes, champions league and UEFA cup licensing,visible referee and weather effects are a essential addition to 09.
Please improve because Fifa is the only football game worth owning

This years fifa has been good but fifa 09 needs to be the best fifa better by having:-
1.a ref and the linesmen in the games
2.more stunning tricks
3. create your own stadium
4. game face like in tiger woods o8
5.more realistic players
6.GOOD SONGS!!!!
7.more arguments between players

Ive been a costumer of fifa soccer games since 1994 fifa international soccer and have bought every copy since. I also buy Pro evoloution soccer and on the game play front ive seen a great battle between both games. This season im playing fifa because of the work done on the crowd atmosphere when celtic play home matches. So it has lead me to a question? why has celtic park not been included on fifa when it has been asked for by the consumer for 3 or 4 years! Also the detail thats put into Celtic, Rangers and Scotland has been below par. Take a look at PES this year, they have stood up and reconised That these teams are important and have massive impact in world football
Celtic = Last 16 in the worlds most elite club football tournament in the world 2 years running
Scotland = Ranked 16th in the fifa rankings
Rangers = regular contentders in both the champions league and the uefa cup
In short stop neglecting scottish football and include Celtic Park Ibrox and Hampden Park.
Celtic Park = 60000 seater stade with the best atmosphere in the UK in acorrdance to many of the visiting european fans.
Ibrox = 5star uefa ranking stade
Hampden = home of fifa ranked 16th in the world Scotland (5 star)
Is it down to lazyness or is it simply a grudge against Scotish football?
Eventually Pro Evo will be the most popular game in scotland and gain more sponsers at these clubs that have huge infulances within world football. Celtic are the 17th richest club in The world for a reason.

You should work more on the be-a-pro PC mode. Full control, and a more realistic view (cam). I disliked playing that game mode with any cam.

Here are 20 points that would improve the FIFA series admittidly some of them are unlikely to be included in the near future but they would all add a lot to the game
1)firstly i have noticed that almost no transfers happen during the transfer window unless the player is involved. a team may stay the same with no changes for 8 seasons+. there should be more un-player related transfers.
2)bids should be made for your players even if they have not been put on the transfer market, this would make interesting decisions for the player and teams could be persistent in making bids for a particular player.
3)more long term injuries and sometimes career ending injuries would add a new risk to playing a player for long periods of time on the pitch. more injury prone players when tired.
4) i know that sponsorship would not allow this but it would be good to be able to, when you change your sponsor, to see a change in the sponsor on the kit.
5)Highlight system changed, end of match highlights and season highlights with a better online viewing system, where you can view and save the highlights easily on your console, more like a burnout revenge online replay system.(goal of the month/season etc.)
6) Ability to create set play tactics e.g. covering the line of sight of a goalkeeper in a freekick
7) organize friendlies against friends online during manager mode using your manager mode team.
On the Pitch
1)new ref animations, the lack of a ref isnt to bad if it means optimal performance
2)more lenient offside rules e.g. advantage to the forward
3)famous managers reactions from the dugout during gameplay via cut scenes
4)the play is not unrealisticly slow however it is the respose time between you giving the order and the player acting on that order that can be frustrating
5) some proven forwards should be able to outpace some old or/and slow defenders. e.g so cambell beating ronaldo in pace getting to the ball.
6) the AI on both teams needs to be improved. players should make more attacking runs on your team and get into space and the enemy AI should implement a more adventurous style of gameplay e.g. tricks
7) fifa 07 had some aspects of gameplay that are far superior to its sequel.
8) permanent scarring on the pitch when a sliding takle has been made( churned up mud)
9) flying mud from boot when ball is kicked
Online
1) online manager mode?
2) manage your team while away from the console, on the internet (fantasy football)
3) dragonball z budaki allows an opponent to play your customised character while you are not the and they play against an ai. this could be done so that your freinds could play your manager mode team that is controled by and AI while you are not there.
4) new boots and hairstyles updated regularly though updates and also generic players to be updated during the course of the season to have more vivid appearances

I think that FIFA 09 should contain the following features to be a perfect soccer game:
1- make all player faces real
2- add more trick moves to make exciting gameplay
3- add a mode where i can be a referee (( REFEREE MODE))
4- be able to create new stadiums((CREATE A STADIUM))
5- be able to edit teams kits
6- add more leagues especially arabic(( argintinian- egyptian-tunisian))
7- be able to manage a national team
8-more national teams
9- crowd make moves and fireworks
10- create more clubs
11- more sponsors on kits for created teams ((ADIDAS,NIKE,PUMA))
12- managers appearences appear in games((ARSENAL - ARSENE WENGER APPEARENCE))
13- Finally , more real stadiums:
a) celtic park
b) santiago bernabeu

Please include the Greek league! Panathinaikos and Olympiakos have been strong teams in Europe for a while now and the Greek league is far better than the Turkish, Polish, Czech and Swiss leagues which are already included!

i have fifa 08 on the ps3 and it is a very biased game the game play is excellant except it is too unfair. You can barley make a slide tackle without giving a foul for it, and no its not just me my friends that have played on it also agree with me. So i think that fifa 09 should be less biassed and also should have more official stadiums instead of just division 1, 2 etc for most of the teams.

Thing that would make Fifa 09 the best game ever
1) I Would like to control the match attendance , so if I have a match of lower interest , the attendance will be small.
2) I Would like the real rules of Champions League. Like a team placed in third place in group , would automaticly go to the Uefa Cup.
3) I Would like a bigger freedom with the way I place my game camera.
4) I Would like … ya right …. all the teams and stadiums in the World.
5) I Would like to know at all time what transfers the other team made , and what is a teams value in euros or dolars. (and transfering in real money)
6) I Would like to be able to see the whole history and statistics of a team.
7) I Would like to create / edit teams and players
8) I Would like to CREATE STADIUMS
9) I Would like to have a team B. Like Real Madrid B , and be able to organize and play with it , in the respective league
10) I Would like a big selection of comentators , including … i don’t know …. romanians , brazilians , americans , germans etc
MY LIST WOULD BE HUGE BUT I WILL STOP HERE BECAUSE I’M TO DISAPOINTED WITH THE LAST VERSIONS OF FIFA

In fifa 09 i think you should have the reserve team of the team you have picked but also you should have to monitor the progress of that team whereas on fifa 08 you have the reserve players but you don’t get to see them playing the games also i think in manager mode it should be like fifa 06 (i think) where you have to start with a lower league team and advance into higher leagues depending on how good your mangerial skills are once you have conquered the FA Barclays Premier League you should have the opportunity to become the nations manager or become the under 21 manager and advance to the head coach

I would like to see both ibrox and celtic park introduced to fifa 09, ibrox was included on a past fifa game but not since. I would also like a career mode brought in as a player not a manager. you could play as i.e rooney and control his career or create your own player and control his career from club to club and for their national side. In this mode you can control your own player or the whole team.

Now i wish that the egyptian national team exist in fifa 09 but my hopes are more than this., there shouldn`t be any discriminatory againest any other country so all countries should be on fifa 09 it will even make more sale then., is that too much??

I reckon you should at the end of a season on manager mode you should be offerd to change your colour and style of your kit and look a other league stats so when you buy a player you now if he on form or not and you should but scotish leagues 1 , 2 , 3 the ones below the spl and the english conferanc

please put holland team coz i ave got fifa 00 to fifa 08 and none of them seem to ave the holland team in and put other nation teams in that arnt in all the fifa’s and put EVERY league in fifa 09 and please have a manager mode that can manage a league team,youth team,internation team(world cup and euro) and change leadue cup and english cup to there other names like carling cup and FA cup also put all the stadiums that are around the world and the 1’s that are still being built

Whats need to be worked on is manager mode because it would be better when your manager levels up to level 10, you can actually manage your intenational team coaching them just like a club and transfer on which player gets in and out. It would be good if you can see fixtures from other clubs in different countries and look at the top scores of any individual player at any league. My recomendations are making manager mode even better. More cups need to be added.
