MANAGER MODE suggestions:
hate to say it but injuries have to be a lot more severe in manager mode…u should be forced to go for months without one of your better players due to injury like real-life; this would make the game a lot more realistic
perhaps suspensions could be given if a player gets outta line with management or an opposing player or doesnt show up to training; an email alert would come and u would have to make a decision to fine or suspend the player, ur choice would affect the team’s morale, play , etc..
OH, opposing teams with no energy play like they all drank 6 red bulls each, gotta make the cpu players slower n less reactive when they’re greatly fatigued.
i noticed that team of the season has the most random, undeserving players on it also.

I think managing national teams is very important .And one has to be manager of a club as well as of a national team if he wants .There should be the major tournaments for the national team like the Euros and the Worldcup also Confederations cup Euro and World cup qualifiers and the International friendly weeks also the olypiques and Uefa under 21 championshiop.Fans should have a polls on the national team website where they telll the manager which player they want to play and the manager may make the fans happy by playing them.
There must be atleast one classical team of the big countries for example the France 98 squad or maybe the all time eleven of the big countries possbly of
France
Italy
Germany
Dutch
England
Brazil
Portugal
Spain
Argentina

There should be many videos like thelast ten champion league finals and trhe World cup 2006 2002 98 highlites which the players can unlock
Also the official Champions league music with the official turnament and the sponsors and possibly a magaine show of the Champions league were there will be the highlites and discussions on the matches .

In manager mode:
****Fifa world player of the year..sort of like race for the heisman, have magazine story about the player, etc.
-manager should be up for his country’s coaching job, depending on his birthplace..if u receive the job than u can play as your country in an int’l tournament. i.e. world cup*****
-keep track of assists under statistics*
-better scheduling
-training sessions
-commentators should really talk about the cup tourney you are in, rather than jus calling it “the cup”
-better celebrations after cup wins

My request is simple, more stadiums, and weather, and stadium creation. It would be awesome to be playing in pouring rain or even snow! I would also like to see more stadiums, maybe one from MLS would be great like the Home Depot Center, or Santiago Bernabeu. An awesome thing would be to create your own stadium. That would be the coolest thing ever. Picking the tiers, colors of the seats, style of the stadium, that would be awesome. PLEASE EA! Take a look at this, PLEASE!

I have been playing FIFA series since FIFA ‘94, so i therfore know what i am saying bout FIFA, FIFA is the best football game, it stands out to be a pioneer sports game. My feelings about the new awaiting FIFA ‘09 is listed below:
- I think there should be physical and a run-around referee, because the last 2 series has been omitted for some reason.
- I need to see players coming in when changed, showing the 4th official showing the player about to be changed.
-The players should be more interactive while on pitch, they can push players if they feel offended.
-More realsitic tournaments, better and real manager mode, with chances of using the real format of modern footballing specifications.
-When you win a cup or trophy, there should be a 5min coverage of how the cup was won, n nedals been given. I know EA can do this, pls take time in doing it pls.
- I love FIFA, so i beg you guys to at least look at everyone’s comments and see some common things we all want, its to your own interest and mostly ours. Please EA, do this. MAKE FIFA ‘09 DA BEST FOOTBALL GAME EVER.

1.cos its well better than League 2 in england and australian League and the best 6 teams in it would easily compete in the Scottish League the best 6 being:
1. Derry City
2. Bohemians
3. St.Patrick’s Athletic
4. Cork City
5. Drogheda United
6. Sligo Rovers

What wud make it even better for the League of Ireland if you put in the FAI Cup in and on psp if u give us the ground that is in the picture when you select the team rather than giving us ‘open square style’ e.g Derry City are supposed to have ‘Div2 Euro Style’ but in Manager Mode you give us ‘open square style’ and put in the Irish League ( Northern Ireland League) and put in the Setanta Cup which is played between the two Leagues in Ireland.
Setanta Cup Qualification and format is as follows:
Qualification:
1. Winners and runners up of each league
2. Winners of National Cups (FAI Cup and IFA Cup) in each League
3. Winner of League Cup in each League….. or if you don’t want to put in the League Cups you could put 3rd in each League into Setanta Cup.
Format:
1. Two groups of 4 (two from each League in same group) e.g Group 1. Derry City (Ireland) Linfield (Northern Ireland) Cork City (Ireland) Glentoran (Northern Ireland)
2. Two teams go through from each group
3. Group Winner has home advantage in Semi-Final (round after group stages) against runner up in other group. e.g Winner of Group 1 v Runner up of Group 2
4. Final - one year be’s in Ireland next year be’s in Northern Ireland - (depends which 2 teams are depends on where final is) e.g Derry City v Linfield in Final then the final will be in Northern Ireland or Derry City v Cork City then Final will most probably be in Ireland (Dublin)

Dear EA
After looking at FIFA 07 and FIFA 08 on the XBox 360 and FIFA 08 on the Sony Playstation 3. I have come up with the following ideas in which the next edition in the FIFA series can become a bigger success and an overall improvement on the previous games on the consoles (above). And here they are:
1 ) Shirt Length: In edit mode, when editing a players shirt length (short/long). To imply the idea of a medium length i.e how Cristiano Ronaldo now has his sleeve length when playing for Manchester United.
2 ) Wrist Bands With Shirt Length: With that in mind, to imply the idea of being able to wear wrist bands with a medium sleeve length shirt i.e Again, referring back to Cristiano Ronaldo when playing for Manchester United.
3 ) Different Coloured Licenced Boots: Again, still in edit mode. When selecting boots to give to players (including ones that have been unlocked and bought in ‘Fan Shop’, to imply the idea of being able to change the colour of boots. i.e If a pair of white and red Nike Mercurial Vapors are made available through the ‘Fan Shop’ mode. Then when selecting them for a player, then the boot colour can be changed with a colour palette that are actually available for that type/style of boot.
4 ) Create-A-Player: When creating a player and using the EXP points that have been bought/purchased through the ‘Fan Shop’. There should be enough points for the player to make him a top player with an overall of ‘90′. Meaning created players can do skills moves like the ‘Rabona’. etc.
5 ) Player Animations: More player animations i.e When a player is penalised for a foul, but not given a booking. At certain times, the player argues with the referee as he feels that the tackle/challenge wasn’t a foul.
6 ) Referee’s & Officials: To have a fully viewable referee running around on the pitch with the players and also possibly the linesmen aswell.
7 ) Team Substitutions: When making a substitute.. If implementing more than one substitute at once for the same team, then to imply the idea of showing who is being brought onto the pitch and possibly show the exchanging players interact with each other. (i.e clap hands together. etc.) and maybe show a team official showing the number board for the players being exchanged.
8 ) Skills With Pace: Being able to run at a faster pace when doing skills like stepovers (not reverse stepovers) as I feel at the moment, the speed can tend to feel a little slow.
9 ) Skills On Opponents: For the opponent to actually respond more to the skills being done on them. Have a look at the following video taken from FIFA 07 on the PS2 for a more specific insight on the opponents reactions to skills.

I currently feel that the curent and recent FIFA games on the Next-Gen consoles (XBox 360 & PS3) are of high class, but I think, that with these ideas being implemented in the next edition in the FIFA series. We (as a gaming/FIFA gaming community) may be looking at the most realistic football experience.

I would very much like the idea of expanding on Be A Pro with practise sessions, the more you practise everyday without matches the better you get. I.e the more you practise free kicks as your created player or your chosen play the better you become ina game situation. I would also like to see alot more attacking football and different variations of runs being made of the ball for the player, and more than just 1 or 2 people attacking at a time, i want the full force to come down on my opponents defense.a manchester united counter attack for example. I would also like to see the speed of the skill increased somewhat as at the moment the skill that is available is rather slow and defeats the point of the object with players lie Christiano Ronaldo, Robinho ect.

players ratings should be increased if they have played consistly well. youth academy’s should have decent players who in future years are capable of becoming a rating of 90. riverside stadium should be available and if you include a ctreate a stadium mode then that would be great. to make it even better then you should include lots of details thatyou could change such as the design of the stands, the exterior appearance the amount of press rooms the tiers the changing rooms and the tunnel. if this is included then you should have to pay a realistic fee for it in manager mode. the more seats the more money made.

I love fifa and how it’s developed over the years. there are a few additions that could be made,
however, that would make the game great. first, I think in manager mode you should be able to
rise to the level of national coach and be a manager of a national team so you could compete
in international events. they should also have international events like world and euro cup.
The same should be done for the create-a-player mode. you should be able to rise through the ranks
and become an elite layer who represents his country in international competitions. It also should not
be as easy to get on a team. you can just select which team you manage right off the bat now. but it would
be more fun to have to work and slowly make your way to the more glamorous squads (and eventually
national tams.) It was this way in fifa 06 i believe. and that worked better i thought. make these changes
and the gam will be great!!

This is for the xbox 360 version.
1. Don’t let players from the kick-off score with a long ball.
2. Better and quiker use of tricks.
3. Referee and assistants on the pitch.
4. Also red cards if you tackle from behind. (now you only can get a red card if you tackle the attacker as the last defender.
5. Russian leaugue. (they deserve it.)
6. License of the dutch national team.
7. Something extra at the freem-roaming area, like a second player or a defender.
8. Maybe futsal, That would be cool.
9. Better online results, like if your opponent leaves, you get a victory. (now you lose sometimes if your opponent leaves)
10. Create your own team, with own kits and stadium.
11. Be a pro career.
12. Youth academy where you can contract players for the A-team.
13. Better tactics: - Choose who goes to the goal at a corner and who stays behind.
- Choose a second player who can take a corner or free kick.
14. More dynamic duels to get the ball.
15. Maybe you can add more things to make a created player more realistic. Like the hair. Make it like fifa street 2 where you can choose the length of the haircut. And I think all created players look s bit the same, so please do something about that too.
16. you should make your created player 99 skill.
17. International career, with WC and EC and olympic games.
18. If a team makes a change, you should see the player walk to the sideline and wish the new guy good luck and that stuff. A you should be able to see the 4th official with his screen if there’s a change and with injury time.
19. Make the dutch league better, cause now all the teams ar as good as the second division of Germany or Spain and that isn’t true.
But fifa 08 is a good game and I enjoy it a lot.

Hampden park, Celtic park, Ibrox stadium and the bernabeau should be in it as well as the russian teams and all international tournements. You should be able to change to change already made players more e.g. if they get better/worse or even change their appearence. Rooney and Ronaldinho’s time is up C.Ronaldo, Messi and Kaka should be on the cover. There should be a momentum bar for special tricks e.g. C.Ronaldo’s stepovers he doesn’t do them to every player and Messi should be able to do the hand of god from a cross using the momentum bar. The most legendary players e.g. Pele(Brazil), Maradona and Cruijff should be in the classic XI

I think that Chempions League and may be UEFA Cup must be at next FIFA. And it nice to be a Chempion’s League music in FIFA. And please make a realistic teames matches i mean that for example Man.Unt, Liverpool, Chealsea and Arsenal must be tha strongest teams in the league but not Derby County or some one else weak team.

It would be better to have the staffing go on a scale of 1-100 compared to 1-10. Money gets used to easily in the 1-10 system and the money becomes left over.
I would also like to see the some thing like the on Italy computer game where a doctor, pitch improvements, stadium size are specified more directly.
Prices for the game should have a better spectrum than low, middle, high
Free agents should have more of an attitude. I should not be able to get a 70 or 80 player on a lower level league. I do not think Beckham is going to go to Coca-Cola League 2…
There needs to be a youth league for all the club that have them. In house development of teamsis one of the biggest ways to improve teams.

1. Have press conferences after the games in league play, and how you answer them will effect your season.
2. Allow other teams to offer to buy a player off of you.
3. Have the medical team come on the field after an injury.
4. The computer need to take more shots instead of always passing the ball.
5. Different commentators, and they should sometimes mention a particular players performance in the last game.
6. Weather, its should start raing in the middle of a game not just through the whole game, snow would be a good idea.

I would like to see a return back to the what I had on the Nintendo 64 full 45 minute halves.
The computer can sim when it is just one game; however, I would like the game better if it could be in game simmed like all the other EA games during dynasty mode.
Be A Pro needs to be more than just one game it needs to be years.
It would also be good be good to have adjustable sliders for skill level like other EA Games. The jump between levels is so dramatic that I can have 7-1 wins then I move it up one level and lose 7-1. This frustrates me to the point of quiting the game.
The game should not be able to always “come back” and score. There are points in every game where the game does not let you stop a going… Like every move you do is wrong… This is not realistic.
The through pass reciever should be able to bend to the pass. I have had so many through passes stolen because the computer puts an offensive player on a trajectory and the player cannot adjust to the defender.

More Big Brand Boots (Nike, adidas, mizuno, lotto, reebok, umbro etc)
Brand Teams like nike t90, nike mercurial, nike tiempo
Adidas adi-pure, adidas predator, adidas f50tunits etc and those teams should have the players who wear those boots and then you can compete for the title of best brand.
You should put the unlcokable boot selection back in the fan shop so you can unlock them and put them on any player you want.
MY MAJOR MOAN IS FOR BEING ABLE TO EDIT MORE PLAYERS. CAN’T YOU SEE THERE ARE SO MANY PLAYERS ON THE GAME WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO EDIT WAY MORE OR YOU COULD JUST NOT PUT A LIMIT ON HOW MANY PLAYERS WE CAN EDIT IT’S STUPID

The nets are to hard , make the nets looser like PES 2008 ,,, show more emotions from the refferes and give more interviews ,,, better graphics ,,, u dont want to ignore this cause i will never buy another FIFA after the 09 game unless it is wat i wanted and if it is bad, i will tell everybody that i know not to buy the game ……. this will be my last FIFA unless it is fixed …………………. ——————–

Most of your ideas are pretty bad, do not add womans soccer, they could make a seperate game. And so Ronaldinho has a bad season and he sucks..? You probably don’t even play Soccer so you have no goddamn rights!

I think(like people before me) FIFA should have nets that are loose and not just poke out where the football hits. Also EA should put the managers,subs,side refs on the sidelines all either talking or watching the match Also I do watch matches a lot and I have noticed teams(international or league clubs)do have an average of 4 or 5 kits, include them! There are I’m sure twice, if not three times as many Internat’l teams(I say this hoping you put Trinidad in the game cause I’m of Trinidadian descent)

I dont care about more stadiums, referee`s in game or different colour boots, all i care about is better gameplay realistic with a little bit of fantasy! ps2 fifa 08 was everything improved i was after, better positioning defenders easier to defend, better pasing (ie) if there is an opponent in between team mates then pass round him not straight to him. i upgraded to ps3 and was gutted 08 was no where near ps2 08 just because its better machine keep the gameplay simple ps2 08 is very close to what we are all looking for, ( without the cross bar glitch) also a quick thought fifa 2005 free kick system was great, easy to score, thus not so many fouls by the opponent cos they knew you would score, good for online mode.

Hi I think fifa 08 is brilliant but I think they could change things abit like!!!!
1.I think the linesmen and the ref should be on the pitch at all times
2.You should have the real managers e.g Sir Alex Ferguson and when you play you should have you manager shouting from the side line
3.I think the fans should wear the kit of the team they support and generally make the crowd more realistic
4.I think there should be a streaker on the pitch sometimes!
5.I think there should be fights between the players e.g if it was a bad tackle or if one of the players said something to upset an opponent
6.I think the players should sign things e.g tops, programmes when they come in the stadium
7.I think after evey season you get to make your own kit
8.I think when you score you should be able to save your goals
9.When you are going to do a sub the commentators should say who is warming up and I think the commentators should say a lot more generally
10.I think the Holland team should have the full squad e.g Ruud van Nistelrooy, Van der Vaart
11.More weathers conditions e.g match abandoned ,bad rain, snow
12.I think sometimes the players should have a bad game
13.I think it would be funny if you could be the ref so you can give bad decisions
14.I think when someone scores in extra time they should take there top off and get a yellowcard from the ref
15.I think when someone scores and its offside the player should argue with the ref and the linesman
16.The goalkeeper should talk to the defence and point to mark someone and the defender automatically go and mark
17.I think on manager mode you should be able to a international team not just a club team
18.I think it would be funny if you can put your keeper up front and a player in goal
19.You should be able to have a interviews after the game
20.I think you can make your own football pitch
