when a play shoots from outside the box, it doesnt fly over the bar it is controlled so it is more realistic. also a more controlled crossing system on the ps2 because you cant get a decent cross in on fifa 08

Please add the following in FIFA 09
- more game modes (training, be a pro career, mini games)
- creating own teams, stadiums, jerseys, balls and boots
- manager mode needs more excitement, not just the same stuff happening. (being able to train your team, having sponsers on the side boards and jerseys)
- keeping the arena but changing weather, goal keeper and ground
- online has to have something else (certain opponents could have specialities such as high goal kicker or something)

i think if it starts as 2 players on a consle you shouldget to pick 2 players for the start in the arena so you can play together and do crosses corners and other things. Also customize your kit and add sponsers. In be a pro, they should do a season where you start at a small clubs and improve and go to a top club, like a carrer. More leagues and tournaments like world cup euro cup and champions league. All players should run at their pace and dont just make it 2 different paces. You should also be able to see the referee and lines man. less fouls. You get to create your own team and make your own kit. in edit mode edit kits and badges. when your team win show the correct trophy being lifted by the captain. Please put it into fifa 09 and if you do the game will be the best ever

hello i thin you should put Venezuela and Japan also use something similar to what pro evolution did of the camera and your face or better have a picture of your self on the ps3 and when you go to edit mode you can create a player with that photo so it looks like you even more and also it should be done for the other players if i want to change the players face just get an image of him and do that so it look more like the player and you should put create team mode and when you are going to make the team it ask you what are you making an international team or club is you make an international team it appear in international if you make a club it appears on rest of the word make the players more realistic it would be good more national teams more game modes the player should have total control of the game customise everything if the person wants well also the thing using the camera or picture it also be done for the logos of the team you create and for the uniforms well this would be really nice trust me because i don’t think everyone wants to always play with a international team that is no yours is boring you feel like playing with your team and you cant is annoy also put the manager the team like euro 2008 game put the referee as well and his assistants ands also many languages the commentator in English suck the guy from Scotland only talks some times and you cant even understated what he sais i hope you listen t me

some good and new ideas wud be controlling how many ppl attend a game like for instance every 1 noes the whole stadium wont be packed all the time or maybe just make the crowd more realistic introduce champions league and uefa cup and maybe add more leagues and make the gameplay more realistsic

The nets are to hard , make the nets looser like PES 2008 ,,, show more emotions from the refferes and give more interviews ,,, better graphics ,,, u dont want to ignore this cause i will never buy another FIFA after the 09 game unless it is wat i wanted and if it is bad, i will tell everybody that i know not to buy the game ……. this will be my last FIFA unless it is fixed ………………….

like FIFA 08 you should be able to play as one player only but also be able to buy boots and customize your kit (like long sleeve or short sleeve) and change your hair cut. Let’s make it better than PES!!

if you score a goal you could use the analog stick to run around, and push E.G. square for PS2 or PS3 to do a back flip or x to slide on your knees. But you could customize them and have 25 seconds max for celebrating.

I think instead of having ECC and English cup you should haver the official names and trophies of the compitions.
There is a large amount of leauges already but puttting in Ukrainian and Turkish leagues would be good.
You Should be able to train the team manually in manager mode eg. shooting practice or 1 v 1s would be awsome.

i think ea should improve the skill of players like, cristiano ronaldo,ronaldinho etc.. and make it easier to take the opposing player on amd confuse them because it will make the game more realistic. I also think that if a player is on bad form or keeping the ball for too long the crowd should start to boo him. You also should be allowed to go to different countries to do your pre-season training. Ea should also have the world cup every four years and euro and also have the official names for champions league and uefa cup and fa cup etc… because when they call them names like league cup and ecc it makes the game feel abit cheap. I think the game would also be more realistic if for example it is raining players can slip and players should also be allowed to dive and get away with it sometimes. And it would be nice too see a referee on the pitch. thanks

I would like to see the ref and his assistants in the sidelines waving their flag for fouls and offsides, also the goalkeepers AI needs some improvement as well as the defensive players on your team controlled by the cpu, the manager mode could be changed to day by day allowing more options like practice sessions more transfer time to negotiate, and about the transfers and negotiating you could introduce player swapping player for player+cash and be able to participate more instead just of bidding for the player.
During the celebrations please put the player celebrating with the proper trophy of the tournament won, also i would like to be able to celebrate goals like in euro 08, more weather scenarios and the pitch be affected by it like in th euro 08 too, and put more real stadiums in fifa 07 the Santiago Bernabeu wasnt in the game
Im not saying that the game is bad, i think its the best game ever but with some of the suggestions in this web site could be even better!! I have owned every fifa game since 98 and will buy all of the new to come, keep up the good work!

Add South American Leagues! especially Brazil’s league, its a very nice league! Argentina’s league is cool too. if you put these leagues in then EA will make far more money off of FIFA. A lot of South Americans live in the US and get turned off by FIFA sometimes because of there being no SA leagues. I wish there were more you could do with creating players as well. More stadiums and more realistic nets.

more leagues and more countries
when u create a team, the sponsor that u sign with should go on the front of the jersey
you shud have more control of the wall in free kicks and the goalie
more stadiums to choose from, and create ur own stadium
referees and linesmen are actually on the field
sometimes they should make bad calls
shooting from long range should be cooler
commentary should be better, sometimes there are different commentators and they should say a bunch of new things about players

Okay, I have a few suggestions.
Be a pro. - Give the option to be a keeper. Some of us really wanna try being between the sticks.
Gameplay. - I play Euro2008 and I have to say the gameplay has improved a lot. The weather inclusion from Fifa to Euro was uncanny. There is nothing like sliding that extra few feet and seeing the water come up. I love that. Keep the power bar above the players like in Euro. They help for shooting, and passing, especially when you play with everything manual as I do. Improve first touches. Dont knock on the ball so far if you’re sprinting to the ball, be able to control it a little more. Pullbacks and shielding the ball should be easier from the first touch standpoint as well. I’ve noticed the ability to flick the ball in the air when you’re controlling it in Euro, but you should be able to do that to get around someone as well. Make jostling more real. There should be the ability to hold a player who is faster than you and pull them down or back. A few pushes a few shoves and yellows for dives if the ability to dive is included. During a pk situation, keeper shouldn’t have such a hard time getting to the upper corners.. they should be able to reach them. In Fifa, you had to stand still and move you’re guy to the side in order to hit something away from the top corners. Stop calling it the ECC. Its not been that European Champions Cup for a long time.. its called the Champions League now. We dont need a game dedicated to that tournament either… The inclusion of the club world cup and european super cups. more incentive and money for transfers. more realistic fees in transfer modes and the inclusion of player for player swaps. I read about someone saying players should speak up about wanting to leave or come to the club as well.
National squads and leagues - There is a large latin fanbase of Fifa players in the world… include more teams than mexico and argentina. We know the clasura is one the most appealing tournaments in the world, so why not include the Argentinian leagues and all the teams instead of just boca and river. The Netherlands is an amazing squad… I’m tired of trying to find out which character represents who. There should be no C. Zeeberg for Clarence Seedorf… There are too many big name players throughout the world who are dutch to not really have the licensing agreement for the Oranje national squad… Hop on it.
Formations and runs - Formations should be more variable without having to go into the formation editor screen. It takes way too long. Players need to be more active off the ball in making runs forward. Unless the aggression is turned up, most midfielders wont move forward unless you physically pass the ball around and move each player up. Fifa 07 for xbox (not360) had the player runs coming along better. I gave in to the idea that the engine was still rusty for next gen consoles, but seeing the improvements from Fifa to Euro.. I’ve completely stopped playing Fifa. The 4-1-2-1-2 is not the most common formation; and not every team uses it. My favorite team is AC Milan, and I know they can’t play with that formation because they have no wide players. In the database, the squad formations could maybe be updated upon the formations they used in the previous week? We all know the servers go down once a week for maintenance, so at that time, you could plug those in quickly? Also the cdm shouldn’t play so deep and get involved more in the attacks.
Ratings - Personally, I feel some players are over-rated in the game. I dont think anyone except kaka, messi, and cr7 should be over a 90. Players slip through form and injury. Online play should emulate that. I know in Madden they’ve given squad updates to teams throughout the season based on their play on the field. I think that if one player is doing amazing in real life, they should play with such class in the game or at least online. I like how in Euro they have the star ratings. Bronze is anything from 83 to 85, silver is 85 to 87 and gold is up. It helps determine who should start. Ratings should be affected when a player is playing out of position…eg cr7 shouldn’t still be a 90 as a partnered striker. Show me a time Man U ever used him there.. or Portugal?
Set Pieces - What happened to lay-offs and second kickers? Why can’t you take a quick free kick in order to catch the defense out of position and not have to boot it all the way up the field for a header in hopes that you’ll still have the ball. As a striker on the ball in dead ball spots, you should be able to pick the place you want to hit the ball and apply the spin with the thumbsticks, almost like in a tiger woods golf game. I think this would add to the gameplay and degree of difficulty to make a set piece. Players should be more involved in running and crosses should be able to be tweaked with spin if its a dead ball from a place where you can’t go for goal.
Cover - Ronaldinho should no longer be on the cover, nor should rooney. They’re both over-rated. The cover should be filled with the players who are the definition of the future in the game; my options would be Cesc Fabregas, Alexandre Pato, and Lionel Messi. They’re all attractive looking players for the cover; and they’re the youth talent of the world. If 09 is to be the future for Fifa.. at least show the best players who are the future of soccer.

please can you have an individual stadium for just the premier league clubs. therefore the normal clubs have a stadium which is just like the real thing. also transfers need to be appropriate so bentley would be worth £15million this year and as his rating increases so should his transfer value. we also all want to see amazing goals 25yards out not boring little tap ins. also a decent striker one on one will generally score so could his be the case on the game as well please. if kits are like the real things then that would be great and if we can redesign them and the colour of the away kits then it would add to the realism.

The introduction of a training mode on the next gen versions of the game would be great. Or, if not a full training mode perhaps an introduction of either like multiplayer Arena. Perhaps the ability to choose the goalkeeper in the Arena or be able to put walls in for the set plays in the Arena for practice.

i agree with the many ideas that have been given but one i have noticed is not mentioned is after playing in a manager mode of fifa or a tournemant i find it disapointing that you dont get to see ur team lift up the trophey and more should be done when you do win the prize u have been spending hours to win!

i think they should improve Fenerbahce SK and Turkish national team players.For example Roberto Carlos is not deserving a 77.or deivid 78.when roberto carlos in Real Madrid, in fifa 2006, he was 87.Now he’s in fenerbahce and he’s 77.this is not justice.And Hamit Altintop.His overall is 75.this is absolutely false and it must be at least 80.and Fifa must add the Sukru

my ideas for fifa 09 are
1. They should have as many international teams as possible like in World Cup Germany 06
2. Refree should be visible at all times
3. more control over players
4.When a substition is about to occur the should have the guy with the Board showing the number that needs to come off
5. Less fouls being called
6. Better camera views
