MORE Weather conditions… its always sunday on fifa 08 and when is it ever sunny in england lol
also when you are playing a cup final… actually put them in the final stadium not the home teams stadium… i won league cup with lincoln city and i had to play at a really poor stadium…it didnt even have a score board for god sake lol

fifa 08 was a good game but should have added more realistic elements to the the game.
- more stadiums,such as villa park,white hart lane and goodison park
-add create a team to the xbox 360 edition
-able to choose designs of kits after seasons in manager mode
-more chants and songs add eg: keep right on (birm),blue moon(man city)
-can be appointed by international teams for manager mode
-able to edit a players appearence after the season ends in manager mode
-able to create a stadium
-an EA sports channel just after a game showing highlights and pundits vertict
-finacial problems, like administration added for more realism

it seems like i hit the post or crossbar more than score goals or even just miss wide…i think the chances of hitting the bar more than 5 times in one game are ridiculously low

in Fifa09 first gameplay must change to a realastic type.
and graphics are looks very bad on PC.
menus are the other lacking point, ea must use smaller fonts to look a proffesional football simulation not as a kid’s game and let more space on screen, to add more detail.
and formation of teams, substitution tactics, ea must learn something from its rival PES.

just to add on to my previous message players should physically age throughout manager mode and younger ones develope the way you want like it is currently being done and you can edit players features as they like to change their hair stlyes and kit edit in off season .

referees makes mistakes if they stand in bad posessions.
make crowds more realistic.
more realistic injuries and more celebration after winning the league or the cup.

more national teams more leagues more players and players physically age in manager mode and world cup , africa cup of nations an copa america and euro 08 in manager mode . more youth players evens if they made up longer manager mode on a more inter active level with players rival managers and clubs

i think fifa08 is the perfect but there is room for improvement like more international teams and the common crap like linesman on pitch etc but i realy think the manager mode can bemade more realistic like ohter managers such as ferguson and wenger , mourinho trying to sign your star players . i also think that the sper clubs like barcelona , madrid , united etc should sign and sell their players more often and produce their own youth stars . also other clubs offering you to come manage them and player trades be made avialable like trading robinho for messi and you pay the difference or the difference be added to your budget . also after you manage for a while international teams offer u jobs. also more leagues be added so we can sign all our favourites like vager love and asharvin , pavlyuchenko etc also player relationships and locker room problems player relationships affecting team chmistry

Love fifa 08 but here are a some changes I would make.
1) Keepers must improve some of the decision making by goalkeepers on the game would just never happen.
2)Better free-kick system
3)Holland national team must have real players instead of made up names.
4)Referee and linesman should be visible.
5)Referee’s and linesman should make mistakes like they do in real life and performances from referee’s should vary.
6)Online mode if someone quits the game because they are 3-0 down should have points taken away and if they keep doing it should be banned from playing online.
7)If you get to a final it should be played at a neutral ground not what ever team is at home.
8)Manager Mode - international games should affect players like injuries and fitness levels and also be able to withdraw them from national team. Also try and unsettle players at another club who you want to buy (just like real madrid do) .

more realistic songs and anthems to match the teams like ‘greasy chip butty’ for sheffield united.
better lower league players because beattie is miles better than 73.
have the ability to dive that would make it better.
more weather conditions
more stadiums in the lower leagues.
better graphics and commentry.

1. According to all previous versions (including 08), every good player has a lot of pace. When you’re playing with Man. United, all your players are very fast. When playing with a lower class side, i.e. Shrewbury, your players are slow. SKILLS AND PACE ARE NOT THE SAME! Find a different way to distinguish players from each other. How about emphasizing on ball control and passing?
2. It takes the goalkeeper way too much time to rush out when you when you command him to do so. This used to be good. It doens’t feel natural at all, it should be changed back.
3. You used to be able to simply tackle someone (by hitting the same button you use for shooting). Nowadays, it is quite hard to defend properly, as attackers just move all the way around you. Even though you know what they’re going to do, which direction they’re going to go, a lot of the time it’s still based on luck whether you can stop them.
4. When clearing the ball, your player usually randomly kicks the ball in any direction. This should be controlled manually!
5. What happens rather often, is that a defender who fouls an attacker who was about to find himself in a one-on-one with the goalie, gets away with yellow or -in some cases- even nothing. One could argue that this is actually realistic, but it happens too much if you ask me.

these things MUST be better
1. superstars like ronaldo and messi and torres and villa should be alot better because thy are in real life.
2. player emotions of the players like ronaldo’s free kick and stutter when taking a penalty.
3.goal alerts of who scored and when from other matches.
4. quik free kicks on gamesplay.
5. better online play.
veiwable linesman and referees and mangers.
6.when you win a cup final you should be able to lift the cup and recieve medals for winning.

On manger mode after 1 season you should have to make your own new kits and design your own new stadium and build it.Also you should be able to make your own manger and if you want to use him as a player manger.

i think that:
1. when creating a player, you can submit a photo online to ea and they create the perfect face as they do on ea tiger woods.
2. more stadiums and stadium interaction e.g players are effected by fan atmosphere
3. fans in stadium more interactive e.g flags banners some guy fetching a hot dog or something, getting excited when ball is near box, standing as team counter atacks etc
4. refs and linesman
5. diving/shirt tugging, more accurate and more inaccurate decisions from refs to spice the game up a bit
6. new game mode
7. players have a mind of their own sometimes e.g they want to leave clubs, sign for clubs and lose temper ont he pitch due to decisions or bad tackles, which could get them sent of more or booked, even fighting so they get suspended.
8. a match of the day style mini programme to be played in background of manager menu at the end of every week : )
9. commentating is repetitive and annoying sometimes innacurate, use more than 2 commentators and many more phrases
10. more competitions e.g champs league
11. managers etc viewable

Fifa 08 is my favorite football game, however i would suggest some improvements for fifa 09.
- increase the monetary reward from winning the uefa cup and champions league. Currently there is only the sponser reward, however in real life the winner recieves multiple millions.
-Improve the detail when upgrading staff, stadium, scout etc. Make it possible to create your own stadium from a range of options, including the 4 sides of a stadium, the amount of business seats, perhaps even the ability to assign an intro song as the players come onto the pitch. As for the staff detail could be given to what they specialize in, the ability for high quality staff to turn ordinary players into skilled players that can make moves such as ronaldo in the long run.
-Work around the free transfer exploit, as that is the only real way to make money, so attention needs to be given to that.
-Make the skills controlls more user friendly. On the ps3 you have to use a different command depending on the direction you are running in, which is very anoying. Eg the rainbow, down, up, up is the command when running up on the screen, but when you run to the right it becomes left, right, right.
-Ability to score directly from a corner by giving it a spin.
-More realistic player interactions when goals are scored. When a goal is scored the 1st few seconds the other players just stand there, and in the next scene they are jumping on his back. Make it so that instantly after a goal the players all run towards him.
-Add lots and lots and LOTS more voice commentary. Martin tyler is a legend, he was fantastic in fifa 08, however after a few matches i feel like ive heard it all. Besides him knowing every player name, spend more attention to him saying things regarding to; deliberate own goals, players slipping as they take the shot (another idea), commenting on the expression on the managers + subs faces when occasionally showing them on screen, goals scored from near the half way line, comments when making a nice move/skill, comments that reflect on the last matches in the tournament; eg that they have beat X, so who knows what they can do next.
-And the ways in which you can shoot. Lob, and power shot are nice but perhaps giving it a small flick in the air and then doing a volley/bycicle kick would be a welcome addition

1. More Stadiums
2. Superstar Mode (like madden)
3. Better celebrations with the whole team not just defenders, perhaps a choice of the intensity of a celebration, where in which ur player may get a yellow card for jumping in the crowd or taking off his shirt.
4. Player relationships, like you might see players who are good friends off the pitch celebrate together more
5. Intense commentating and celebrating in big matches
6. Instant free kicks / throw in’s
7. See the referee / linesmen on the pitch
8. See the manager on the side of pitch giving instructions
9. Better celebration and actually do a trophy ceremony after a huge cup win
10. Full stadiums with more realistic crowds! Stadiums should always be full if your team is performing well and for big games, if your team is at the bottom of the table perhaps then their may be empty seats. Also crowd should all jump up when somebody scored and be moving around, in 08 their like stick people who sit there even when their team just won the english cup with a 90th minute goal!

oh and 1 mor thing whn you hav long range shots and they are heading for goal the keeper turns around and runs towards his goal to get back on his line in time witch wouldnt happen they would just stick out a hand to try and stop it i think this needs to improve thanks :)

i think weather should affect how the ball moves. also possibly the quality of stadium to how the players perform. like if the pitch is too spongy from not having enough maintenance they might get tired quicker. in be a pro you should probably have some kind of point system where you cant get a player thats too amazing, otherwise you just end up being captain all the time. one more thing, the offside rule should be more precise, like if it comes off a defender its not offside, ive had it happen where it was passed to me from the opposite team and somehow i was offside

i think that in fifa 09 there should be more stadiums becaus that les artais or whatevr it is called is so annoying. definatly should have the bernabou why isnt that on there. should play finals of cup e.g. FA Cup League cup at wembley instead of the home teams ground. c players lift trophies and collect medals when they win them. more emotion when teams lose important matches. make gael clichy 99 overall lol. make the top 4 teams in the premier league play amazing because on my season chelsea got relagated witch is a bit ridiculas and i dont think that i have ever finished a season on any fifa game were arsenal chelsea man u and liverpool have all finished in the top 4 spots together witch is what always happens in real life.

In game modes you should have one where u can by a team and build staidiams,hire and fire staff by players buy players and online create a team and be the owner of it and ply online.
they should have it where you can create a player and start of where your playing for a u12 academy then keep getting scouted if your good until your 16 then start playing for a mens team and proffetionanly
on fifa 08 online isnt very good so you should do online tournemnts like on euro 2008
they should make these things better;

Things like better newspaper reports with current affairs ( e.g manager linked with Real Madrid or X Player wants to move to Lyon ) If its a cup goal in the last 25 mins then the whole squad and staff should jump on the scorer, especially in the final. On a penalty shoot out, see the rest of the squad linked arms. Whilst playing, goal alerts of other matches and who scored. You hear players want to move to clubs so that could be added to the newspapers and also like several clubs after one player - beef the newspapers up a bit. Weather conditions like rain could postpone games and even abandon games. More international games and injuries in training. Also play Under-21 games too, Have the chance to manage an international club nd chairmans of other clubs wanted you to be their next manager. Change kits every season. I am looking forward to FIFA 09. Hope you include some of my inclusions.

One thing i think should really be put in the new fifa is player of the tournement and then also player of the season!!
Also when the young players grow up they automatically go into their international teams if they good enough!!

Id just like to say i loved fifa 08………..but there are still a loads of minor things that if improved on could made this game unstoppable.
No.1 Goal keepers reactions to high balls needs to be sorted, they always seem to be indecisive when a bouncing ball comes to them or when a deep ball is crossed in, when do you ever see indecisive keepers? its usually all or nothing with keepers!!
No.2 A bigger range of through balls need to be available, because they are to short or to long every time.
No.3 Refs, linesmens, 4th officials, managers and subs all on the sideline like in the madden series.
No.4 Cut scenes for subs to show all players from both sides coming onto the pitch, so that the person playing knows whats going on.
No.5 Quick freekicks, really good idea to keep the realism and pace of the football even closer to the real thing.
No.6 More stadiums, more croud songs, better weather conditions.
Im sure no matter what happens, the next installment is going to bigger and better than ever, and i cant wait. Just hope Englands stats dont suffer after the diabolical Euro 2008 efforts, haha.

all of these people have great ideas,
1. ben had a great idead of putting the be a pro mode in the manager mode. so u actually start from the beginning from the lowest grade and work your way up get promoted move to bigegr clubs etc.
2 i think there also should be a training mode in the manager mode where you train and work on your passing shooting and freekicks etc.
3. i think there should be more stadiums as there was no santiago bernabau stadium in fifa 08 playstation3 game.
4. i think shooting should be more realistic in fifa 09.
other than that fifa has done a gr8 job i love fifa been playing it since 2001 and loved everyone of it.

Hey! 1st of all, id like to say i am a HUGE fifa fan! I buy it every year since 1994(no bullshit), and i play it all year round when i have it(with the exception of a few days here and there of playing other new releases that i want to clear)! My Fifa 09 ideas are……
1. Be able to save your goals(not having to upload them, what happens if you dont have the internet)!
2. The superstar players eg. Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka, Ronaldinho etc, to be a hell of alot faster and skillful than the ordinary players!
3. To be able to build your own stadium and design it etc!
4. Better celebrations for when you score an extremely important goal and when you win semi finals and finals etc, all the subs and staff etc run out onto the pitch to celebrate!
5. Extreme weather conditions
6. When players get badly injured, get them strechered off
7. Show the manager and subs and staff celebrating on the sideline when an important goal is scored
8. Have a youth squad aswel, and be able to choose who to bring up into the first team etc!
9.Champions league matches to be always on at night!
10. Have team, player, manager, goal of the month etc! Then at the end of the season, have a player, manager, goal , team of the season! Do it more accurately this time! On fifa 08 i had Rooney as top goalscorer of the season by sbout 10 goals or so, and he didnt even make it into the team of the season! So if that could be accurate, that would be lethal!
Well thats all the ideas im gonna post up ! Fifa 08 is still an excellent game no matter what, but if you put some of these ideas(if not, all of them, haha) up, then fifa 09 is gonna be just soooooooooooo lethal! Thanks! Ps. I AM WITHOUT DOUBT, THE BIGGEST FIFA FAN ALIVE ; )

1) there should be more options to give your created player, like:
nike boots etc
those socks players wear over there team socks
able choose if your shirt is untucked
etc

*make the players look real as they are today(hair,body def.,etc.)
*more variety in boots such as nike vapors from 2007-8,adidas pure(kaka),and more.
*there is a problem when u zoom up too the players they are how they are but when u are playing in the match there hair looks weird either its too short or long or it doesnt look like his real hair
*have practice sessions such as “be a pro”and keep up wit the practice wit the other players and 1 touch passing, runnning threw drills such as cones perhaps.
*maybe 2 players in “Be a Pro”
*have players know their unique celebrations such as (kaka) pointing up at the sky, etc.

Please fix those penally kicks, it’s not realistic for a goalie to slide down the goal line and make a save. Also at times it feels like the players have a ball magnet and keep running into each other. Thank you for letting us express.

I think the best inclussions would be shirt pulling and diving. Other good inclussions could be weather conditions affecting the pitch and changes in the players apperrance due to this weather conditions e.g wet hair and kit. More international teams and official international teams would also be a step forward. Sweat should show on players and their t-shirts. Total control of goal celebrations would be good as well as being able to celebrate with the fans and staff and if a player scores the winning goal in big match should be bundle by team mates and coaching staff.different stadiums as well. champions league should be official as well as other competitiions. In lower leagues players shouldn’t look identical but should be the actually players.

Everyone has made some great points, i just hope EA do alot of it.
My points -
1. For me the untimate improvement would me a manager mode just as deep as Football Manager game, but obviously you play the games! This would make tactics, training, finances, scouting, transfers, manager interaction with press etc, pre and post match anaysis alot more interesting as well as adding in youth and reserve teams, international teams (to manage). How good would it be to be fair???
2. I also think that in ways the game is to easy. Not the gameplay, but the way in which you can make a poor team amazing quite easily. I mean, i manage Sunderland and I signed C Ronaldo, Rooney, Richards with no problem once i had the money. Would that ever happen?
3. Youth should develop propperly and more accurately.
4. I dont like how if i put my poor players up for sale (like overall stat of 60ish), teams like chelsea etc want to buy them. that wouldnt happen.
5. Linesman and 4th official included.
6. Better and worse decisions from referee. Some free kick decisions are a disgrace and happen too often! However, incorrect offsides, handballs etc would be great. Stir it up a bit.
7. Relationships between players, and managers.
8. Ohter clubs have managers (and real ones like Mourinho) who you can interact with.
9. More realistic AI in leages. Like nearly every season or new game i start someone like west ham wins the league and manchester united are 15th or something. Again, this wouldnt happen.
10. The top 4 in Premier league and all other Super clubs should be SUPER CLUBS and play amaxzing.
11. I’d like players to be more unique to themselves. Like Ronaldo to do more tricks when playing against him etc, Rooney to be bad tempered! You know what i mean.
12. More stadiums
13. More players
14. Quick freekicks and better free kicks and corners. Should be moves which you unlock and can train with better coaches etc.
15. Dogout should be visable.
16. Defo want Chris Kamara!!!
Theres loads more but I think these are the main ones and others have made good points too.
