i think that fifa 09 should introduce man of the match and interviews at the end of the big games and make the graphics the best they can possibly be because the faces were not that good on ps3 although i thought fifa 08 was realy good. also add more stadiums and have some beter goal celebrations.you should also have a training mode. also listen to the other ideas because there are some realy good ones
Fifa 09 should have a reserve league during tournament and manager mode. You should also be able to manage international teams. Also you should have all the champions league and international stadiums. I hope you read may suggestions.
By the way over all Presentation of the Fifa 08 is outstanding but a little disappointing in the Playstation2 and PC Platforms
Please let us compete all international teams in a World Cup Championship in Tournament Mode and also add Teams from Indian League like……….

We’re sorry, but we have to insist on this: after two World Cup won by the national team and fifteen years of the FIFA Soccer videogame, FIFA 09 should include the Argentinian League, and not only River Plate and Boca Juniors as ‘Rest of World’ teams. Million of FIFA Soccer fans are expecting for it. It has sense: the european leagues are full of argentine players (Don’t do Lionel Messi, Hernan Crespo, Carlos Tevez or Sergio Aguero sound as known names?) and was in Argentina where they started their careers.
Also FIFA 09 should include features that already exist in the Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer series, as perform goal celebration for your created players, add the name comments of the game for custom players that have identical or similar names, ‘fake’ goal celebrations when a goal is scored in off side position, it should be possible to edit any team and his players that the user wants.
Training mode should be added and more african teams such as Mauritius etc
We should have Ibrox, Hampden and Celtic Park in the next FIFA
and the trophy winnig celebrations should show them lifting the cup.
it would be great if you wil add Russian league, and Kazakstan league too
When you make a successful cross into the box which reaches a player you should have a choice on what to do using different buttons…i.e; Tap TRIANGLE to perform a DIVING HEADER, Tap CIRCLE TO PERFORM A SCISSOR KICK, Tap X to perform a VOLLEY and Tap SQUARE to PERFORM A CUSHOUNED HEADER!

I think when creating a player if your share the same surname as a player then you should be able to add this to your name so that when player the commentary call you by your second name.
maybe these have been mentioned – maybe not:
-More South American teams/leagues
-More realistic stadiums
-More international play during a season (ie world cup qualifiers etc)
-Add in a juniors tournament (or possibly a juniors final) that could be playable so that you may keep up to date on up and comers
-Add in shots of the managers during a match or even bench players in the cut screens – would be great in manager mode
-Spruce up the highlight portion of half time and end game
-Thats all for now – I will say that the gameplay has improved from 07 and the way a match flows on the pitch is spot on!

You should be able to see the manager on the bench with his assistants and subs. there should also be a medical team that comes onto the pitch with a strecher when there is an injury, more red cards because every thime a player of another team has injuried one of my players or commited an offence that should be a straight red they get yellow ive only seen two reds in the 4 seasons ive played due to two yellows there should be more given out.
manager mode is good and all, but some things are just tacked on:
The friendlies are stupid: ONCE A YEAR!

Loans can be made THROUGHOUT THE SEASON! – not just transfer season
The Classic XI is shit: No Pele, Cryff, Yashin, Best, Hurst, Zidane, Johnny Warren.
I’m Australian, and i even think the russian league should have been added over the A-League! But, i’m still happy they did!

i just want to say about the special tricks
you can do a rainbow trick only only with 90+dribblers
even a couple of my friends can do a rainbow
i want to say u should be able to do a rainbow even with lower dribblers though not perfectly
and the same to some other special tricks though not the exclusives.
hey umm MORE INJURIES ARE NEEDED for manager mode to be realistic… there aren’t enough – look at all the top teams right now…chelsea, liverpool etc. they all have at least 5 injuries with some of them long term. i am doing a manager mode with liverpool and the only injury i’ve had was Torres for about 1 month…that is good but just a few weeks ago, Pennant, Agger, Torres, Kewell and Alonso were missing for liverpool’s first team in real life. It would be a fun challenge if that happened in real life and you actually had to use more than 15 players for the season because they don’t get fatigued at all!!
Great that the aussie A-League was added, but a couple of Aussie stadiums woulkd be nice :)
Fifa 08 is a great game,and I love manager mode.But I think the way the free kiks used to be in 05 and before was a better way of doing it.The moving bar made it a bit easier to kick the ball on target and not kick it over the bar,despite only kicking it very softly.Also I noticed a few gliches in the commentary,usually after someone had a shot on goal and the commentator said the goalkeeper blocked it when the actuall shot went over the crossbar for a goalkick.But other then that it’s 9.5 out of 10.Look forward to next years version.
Talking by my all friends and people in here that play the game, we would like to ask Fifa and EA sports, to add the Argentinian League on the next version of the game. Here in Argentina lots of boys play fifa every day, and every year, we expect that it would be add, cause the game only have 2 teams, in “Rest of the World”: River and Boca. In Argentina, football is not a sport, it’s just a culture. here is the most competitive league, in America, and i think that it have to be part of the incoming game.

mAKE A TEAM TALK,CONVINCE PLAYERS TO COME BY TALKING
you should have all the players for their teams like gavin hoyte and keiron gibbs for arsenal…..and when you make a plyer you should be able to put any boots on himn not the ea ones but even nike adidas and you should be able to put your nuber on your bootsand your manager should come to the touchline and shoul get carded aswell and in training m0ode they should have their real training kitsand in career mode you should be able to take control of a club and countryand should have press conferences like PES. you should make doing skil alot easier andf should give players voices and should players should have fights in derby matcheslike arsenal and chelsea and manu and arsenal not all der’by’s butu just the main ones

if you create a player den give him real boots like adidas f50 . in manager mode you should be able 2 hold training sessions and c the bench in a match with all your subs and some of your injured players in the stadium. create your own stadium. if you create your own team you can make your own sponsorship or pick one. c the ref in matches. and give the players some voices. when you create the a player u pick the way the guy runs and shoots etc. have a reserve league wer u can take control of them on match day but play them early or later so that they dont intervene with 1st team match play and also create a under 18 league but make it ealry or later so it doesnt intervene with the 1st team either. you should also be able 2 take control of a intrenational team including HOLLAND. include all leagues world cups euro cups and include all footballs lyk champions league ball and f.a. cup other thinks which i have 2 think of.
The shift from FIFA 07 to 08 gameplay wise was amazing. I think it finally overtook Winning Eleven in most elements of the game. However, not all is sunshine and rainbows. The lack of rendered referees has always been a slight annoyance, when they’re on the field it’s possible for them to interfere with play and if the AR has an actual spot then it may be possible for them to make wrong calls, and have the announcers call them on it after a replay. As a referee myself, I know this happens more than a little bit a thinks this would add a sublime level of realism without taking away from the entertainment.
Also, the referee’s use of advantage is pretty stupid at times, especially in the defensive third. There is almost never any advantage in your own defensive third when you’ve been fouled unless you are facing up field with no one around you.
Finally for the referees, why no straight reds (other than denying obvious goal)? If some guy comes running in from behind and slide tackles, missing the ball, and sending the player flying, its more likely than not to be a straight send-off. One of my friend’s favortie tactics is to foul me outside of his obox, knowing I’m terrible at free kicks. He’ll do this all game and never get a cautions or send-off, even if it’s persistent infringement by the same defender.
Another real peev is the wonky goalkeeper A.I. Some goalies will come collect the ball out of the air around 8-12 yards (*cough* Jens Lehman) out if they’re confident enough. But in 08, crosses in are almost always uncontested by the keeper unless it’s on the 6 yard box. And if you try to press Y to have the keeper come out and attack, he’ll chase the ball instead of anticipating it’s trajectory.
Oh yeah, why no co-op season on XBOX360. That more than anything else that’s what my friend and I wanted to see.
Integrate national teams into the season mode more. Have your star players chosen for National team duty, or even allow the player to coach the national team all the way through the World Cup.
UEFA Champions League, what?
Finally, in the season mode, tone down the scouting abilities. One good way of making money is scouting out some 60-70 skill 18 year old kid and selling him for several million. That just doesn’t seem right. Then again, maybe that’s how it’s done…
Despite all this, fantastic game and I’m really looking forward to 09.
