   im a big fan of fifa and always have been, i brought a xbox 360 after finding out fifa would be on there.After buying ‘road to world cup’ and ‘world cup’ i was amazed and still play them now to see the difference. I brought fifa 07 the day it came out and ‘quite frankly’ took it back the day after. I am appalled by the new tackling system.

   Firstly why change the ‘change player’ button from A to a trigger button, its too hard to get used to. The slide tackles dont do anything thats affective and when they do its a foul. The B button is none existent aswell.

   Due to this i have had’t to change my normal difficulty from pro/world class to amatuer and still find it difficult.

   The faces looked better on ‘world cup’ than the do on fifa 07. They look ‘cartoony’ and not specific to the faces of top players.

   Apart from that the game is great for a first attempt, I took it back merely as i cannot play it. I think fifa needs to take a step back and work on the tackling again. Also introduce more leagues in the second version as much more people prefere ‘Championship league’ teams.

   I was strongly reccomending to converting to pes6 but i feel that i shouldnt scrap my love of fifa because of one lously game. If you can just improve the tackling and the faces and introduce more things, i will once again have a passion for the game.

   I hope you reccomend my comments as i am i strong fan of fifa since i had a sega mega drive at the age of 8 playing fifa games!

   i also believe u should put ferenc puskas on the game as he was one of if not the best players of all time.
   also u should put every nation that has qualified for a mmajor competition on the game. also u should put andorra and san morino in the game.
   another good addition will be the world club championship and every single football league in the world.

   i think the new game should have an improved youth academy. by that i mean a proper youth academy. eg. for chelsea, there could be people like ryan bertrand and michael mancienne.
   also you should have every player for every team in the world. i read match mag and there is some good players in there that arent in the game this really disappoints me, as i would like to see how well they play.

   (44) SETTING MENTALITY OF PLAYERS BY MANAGERS [VERY IMPORTANT]

   In manager mode.. We(users) must be able to assign how a player mentality should be.. Like… it must be made possible to assign a left striker to attack and drift to the left midfield when some other player in the team has the ball and is rady to pass it to him[in fifa its like the "OFF THE BALL-PLAYER CONTROL" [when presssing Q button] ] Or we can either set the mentality of the same left striker to attack and penetrate to the right..[this will make marking diff for opposition]

   What i come to say is when we press the “q” button the movement of the player must be assigned by us[managers].. i think i saw this in PES and it was cool..

   Its like we set the mentality of a midfielder say[steven gerrard] to attack as well as come back fast in time to defend..

   This menu “PLAYER MENTALITY” can be made like this inside “TEAM MANAGEMENT”… [keepers and CBs disabled here]

   And when i select a player.. A picture like this should come by the side

   These are actually four directional settings which the user can set for a player mentality..

   We have many ratings of midfielders , strikers , defenders n all in fifa right.. [like clinical striker, target man, winger n all].. With that in mind we must be able to assign their individual movements on the pitch[off the ball control].. when pressing “q” button [FOR PC]

   # For eg take Henry… this menu must allow us to set his mentality..

   So now lets take our eg henry we assign him to both 1.)ATTACK AND 2.) DRIFT TO LEFT direction keys for henry[remember only for off the ball control for henry].. Now say fabregas has the ball in center midfield and henry is correctly just ahead of him nearind D box.. Now if we press Q.. Henry attacks by drifting to the left[in the same time moving forward.

   now the animation like he is raising one hand and asking for the ball must come]

   instead of raising the hand FIFA developers can also make an anime of a player stretching his hand and asking for the ball on the ground.. instead of in the air[the raised arms anime]..

   # For fabregas now.. We can set his mentality to both ATTACK AND DEFEND..

   [ If DRIFT TO LEFT is assigned to a player DRIFT TO RIGHT must be disabled and vice versa.. ]

   # Now coming to Gilberto We just press the center circle.. Hold position and
   defend.. so he does not go to attack and takes a holding midfield postion and he goes to defence as well..

   i hope my idea can be understood.. This will be really cool if its implemented.. The work of a true manager can be done in the game…

   (45) GROOMING A PLAYER OF ONE POSITION TO ANOTHER [RWM to ST]

   This is a major drawback in manager mode.. Lets say im the manager of a club for more than 5 seasons and if i keep on playing a RWM as a striker (or) a player of different postion in some other postion[WHEN HE IS YOUNG == do not reduce his morale.. ] Rather assign him as ST with that picture under his overall attribute.. If he keeps playing 35-40 games in that same posion..

   [BEST EG.. Theo Walcott is a ST but Wenger plays him as RWM.. But he is still very happy at the club sice he is learning isnt it?? So h\in future say he becomes a RWM.. like this it must change in manager mode]..

   === The attributes of the players should grow only according to the position in which he is played ==

   But only if he is a player above 28[reduce his morale at first when we play him in some other position and then keep it steady dont keep on decreasing his morale]

   The next FIFA game should include more leagues like Australia, Argentina, Greece and Russia. Plus, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd divisions of Scotland. You should also be able to create more teams and players than you can at the moment. FIFA 07 is good, but FIFA 08 could be brilliant with just these few inclusions.

So this wud attract their attention as well..

    Please complet stuff upgrade in maneager mode . fifa games is very good if thease games designers play this game after design . It is veri nice if player can edit(and transfer to world XL team) World XL team (and classic XL team) . And it is veri nice to if classic XL team has Pele(brazilian) and has Maradona.

    It would be convenient to make search of talents not only on role and the country in which search is conducted, but also citizenship of the given player. For example, I often search for the player of the certain citizenship that he in the future supported a combined team of that country in which plays the club

    i think in the next fifa game there should be:

    1. world cup (also in manager mode)

    2.different weather style.

    3. football hooligans running around on the pitch.

    4.become the reff.

    5.have amazing foootballers like pele, best, bobby charlton.

    6. more unlockable teams like classic 11 and world 11

    7.have a story mode, where you can carry on from a losing team like if englands losing 2-0 to france you can become england and carry on to win. so basically just a story of how england or another team began and how there reputation rised. you shouldnt be the manager just the team.

    8.fans throwing food or rubbish on the pitch when they think the reff has given an unfare free kick

    9.more tricks for footballers

    10. put yourself in the game. take a pic with your eye toy and just copy it onto a creat player.

    some of my ideas sound wack but most of them are good.

    In FIFA 07 there was a selection of players in a combined team of the country during career, but from a team participate no more than three person. I consider{count}, that this restriction should be cancelled, because many good players from one command{team} cannot often participate in a combined team as already three persons already from this command{team} play a combined team

    Have Licensed football boots on all players (if in doubt use Adidas). mAKE INJURIES more realistic to players like Woodgate who can easily get injured. When the players get injured medics come on and strecher them off if its serious. Authetic Goal keeper shirts. More leagues on interactive leagues plus offline.

    1. Authentic goalie kits (away and home)
    2. All third kits
    3. More licensed football boots for real players and created ones
    4. More cutscenes like when a player is injured etc.
    5. More weather effects
    6. Better commentary
    7. More realistic stats Sol Campbell if he is old or not is better than 79!
    8. To be able to edit players before and after you have downloaded the online squads
    9. Have a goal difference section on the interactive leagues table by using the mean average of goals
    10. Have seperate classic teams like 80s classic, 60s classic etc. and then the overall classic with the best players from each era
    11. Improved facial graphics
    12. Have updated accessories to players when you download online squads as well as up to date stats on how well the player played (in real life) during the last match (if not see point 7.)

    Thats it, hope to see the next fifa improved with out the bugs like with David James’s hair

    1. taking squad stats on august 31st or september 1st instead of august 27th. Lots of transfers are done last minute.
    2. Not MUST be, but I’d like to see croatian league in 08. I mean you have so many people in team making game, I could expect EVERY league in the world, especailly every european league.
    3. It would be also nice to have tutorials, not just tips and tricks, but whole tutorials showing how to play (for those that are not regular players of fifa serial – there are many of those still stuck with FIFA 98 RTWC or FIFA 1999)
    4. Complete list of possible moves and tricks. I know it will kill the pleasure of finding it out, but maybe it can be avoided by putting that list in fan shop at veeery high price (lets say 10000 points or even more)
    5. More movies. Not CGI movies but real movies with real games. There are beautiful moves and goal throughout the season and, no offense, but you show nothing. And dont give us only Bundesliga or Premiership, but Serie A, Primera, Champions league…. I dont mind having game on few DVDs :-)
    6. If you change something in gameplay, please dont overdo some things. Comparing 2006 and 07 you vastly improved control and reality but I founded it VERY difficult to score from corner. Maybe I need to learn more, but it is very hard for me.
    7. since you have sideline referie, please dont make him just stand there. Make him bit more active (to show who has the ball and to raise flag when offside and stuff)
    8. Crowd. I know it complicates things and is hard to manage but if possible, improve fan crowd on stadiums to react differently not just wave with hands.
    9. International manager mode.
    10. arrogant players (if I refuse to put someone in first team, arrogant players could refuse playing for me, or could play with half strenght…)
    11. I assume you’ve once played Sensible Soccer. You might want consider putting some things from there to FIFA. I know it would be half FIFA, half Football Manager, but I’d like to play that kind of game.
    12. More stadiums (I know there are plenty of them but who doesnt want more :D)
    13. Make one “uber” stadium. Beautifly constructed, with many many many seats. Who knows, maybe some rich guy will see it and build real one :)
    14. This is one is not very hard to make and I would certainly want have that option, and that is Stadium preview. with adjustable camera that flies as I want (something like Instant Replay interface)
    15. And for the love of God, CHANGE commentaries… Or at least what they are talking about…….. :)

    on edit kit number, for example i was editing william gallas’ number for arsenal 2 number 10 and when i went to the french national team his number had changed 2 10 as well but his number on the french team is 5, and on the french team i changed the number to 5 but it changed to 5 on arsenal! but 5 is Kolo Toure’s number plz fix this.

    I think there should actually be a ref on the field and when players get injured that the doctors come on and take the player off. And put the a-league in fifa 08.

    3. in season mode, when you have been manager of a team for 3+ years, please get offers to manage international teams.
    4. and finally have awards eg. team of the year, at the end of each season in manager mode.

So that it will be easier.. there are numerous balls and it is difficult to remember thair exact names.. Show show the unlocked ball pics in settings by the side

    Just to see how worse players get injured.. inside the menu.. Player name along with no of days out cos of injury and how many times he has been injured this season..
    And in the transfer market show injured players with seperate icon beside them.. and lower the prices of players when in injuries and depending on length of injury..

    I also think the free kicks are much better in fifa 07 than fifa 06 and should be kept in fifa 08 as it is more of a challenge to score and you have more options. Also I think when you create a player you should have a choice of nike, adidas etc. boots, you can’t say you can’t do it because of copywrite you use them on rooney and ronaldinho etc. so why not on create player

    everyone wants this stuff one fifa 08 but if we get all this stuff on the game that we want we lose the stuff we already like on the game. I think the player growth rate is really good and should deffinatly be kept on the game, but u have definatly got to put in custom formations, build your own stadium, a better classic team and holland ont he game. please you need this stuff on the game.

    At first I wanted to thank for all your endeavor!
    But there is one problem about Fifa07 and it is about free kicks!I think the present method is not very good I prefer Fifa06 freekicks more.And another thing is about leagues.Please add the iranian (Lige Bartar) because iran is the best team in asia and has got alot of good players here!

    When players get injured game play should be stopped until the injured player is removed because gameplay cant continue if 1 of your players have a broken leg the team management window should be opened up before the free kick is taken so the injured player can be substituted because you would never see a player continue play with a broken leg basically because the player can’t continue so they shpuld put this in the upcoming FIFA games.

    Unlockable football boots and a choice of football boots to play in before the match and football boots with the statistics and stuff.

    INTERNATIONAL MANAGER MODE for tournaments like the world cup and the euro that would be great! and everyone wants this!

    Everyone has got ideas. Sometimes they fit to the concept of others, sometimes not. But there is aways worth to listen what other may invent.

    1. Sounds from stadium. They should be nice, each featured stadium should be recorded live, with full crowds etc That would be very cool.

    2. In the manager mode there should be an option for motivating players in the dressing room. That would be cool as the manager option, and attractive for players (fans) who always want to see what happens in this place before, in the half time and after the match! There could be many more manager option as well.

    3. In my opinion there are not much fouls of CPU. There would be great if each team will make fouls as in the real season – there must be some statistics about it. Game would become more real.

    4. I know there is a problem with 3D public on the stadium but few guys standing next to the pitch could look less thin.

    5. Probably EA can’t use any real adverts around the pitch because of FIFA rules, but there shouldn’t be a problemmaking fake advertisement. At this moment there are only a few.

    6. During the replays, there should be an EA logo flashing, not just frozen.

    fifa series doen not have any cheats in game.. After all its a game.. We need to have some fun.. Keep atleast one cheat ingame.. Say after referee is enabled in settings by the user.. In game.. after the user types the cheat say… “12ON11″.. the referee must be able to get the ball and play like our team player.. HAHAHA.. JUST IMAGINE THE FUN..

    But disable this cheat in challenge mode (if the user is playing in one) and disable in online play when this cheat or cheats are typed.. THAT WILL BE FAIR PLUS AWESOME FUN.. RIGHT ea????

    in fifa 08 i hope they bring in many ideas frm us.what i wanted is them to call the player names even after scoring a goal. commentators always use the word “HE” “HE”.
    Crowds need to be improved. player faces keep changing like c.ronaldo had a better face in fifa 06 but it gt worse in 07. we shd be able to take indirect free kicks as qiuclky as possible and even throw ins. in a corner every body has a uni form position,really players shd be scattered in da box. new celebrations shd be added and celebrations after winning a cup.
    In manager mode even wen transfer window is closed we shd be able to sign contracts and buy him wen window opens. shooting needsto be improved.
    I love scoring long ranges especially frm mid but in fifa 07 it works sometimes only.
    very good ea trax shd be there and of course tricks and lot of tricks. well it did improve in this game and 2005.
    i read one comment and felt it shd be there like we shd huv all emotions while playing the game.
    they did a gr8 thing THE BALL PHYSICS.

    there shd be training in manager mode.
    i huvatleast these r there.

    all I wanna say to your creator of fifa games is that try to make it more real time …
    something in this game is unbelievable … such .. when the goal keeper get a strong ball in his chest … he reflexes very bad and sometimes he will miss the ball very bad …
    and in fifa07 we have too many problem .. when i start the game there’s no peroblem but in the middle of the game the speed and the graphic refresh will become very bad .. please correct this mistake … or every thing that u call it …

    IN FIFA 08 U SHOULD BE ABLE TO DIVE BUT IF U DO IT AND MAKE IT IBVIOUS ITS NOT A FREE KICK OR PENILTY THE PLAYER SHOULD GET BOOKED AND THERE SHOULD ALSO BE REFEREE MODE WHEN U PICK A LEAGUE MAKE YOUR REF THEN REFEREE THE MATCHES THAT ARE (RANDOMLY)SELSECTED BY THE COMPUTER.

    U SHOOD GET THE SPL SCOTTISH DIVISON 1 SCOTTISH DIVISION 2 AND SCOTTISH DIVISON 3 AND THE CIS CUP SHOULD BE IN IT.

    fifa 07 is a classy football game when you can do good tricks and score amazing goals but in fifa 08 a fink u shood huv more choices in creatin players espeshiley in the hair styles and in the boots
    i also think that teems shood get as many bids as they want in the transfer window
    i think teems like rangers celtic and even st mirren get treated really badly in there stars ratings and players overallls.bary ferguson should have a rating of about 86 but in 07 he has 81 or somthing like that when chealsea should be abot 5 star
    i even thing 6 star teams should come out

    i sat about for about an hour and a half b4 i fought of this 1 i made my oan classic xi teem for fifa 08 and i really really would appriciate it if u used this teem
    cause my grandfathers favourite player is in it

    I think the players should look more realistic and the boots.If you have eyetoy you could make it take aphoto of yourself and it will turn it into your created.

    after you play a game like in manager mode could we see interviews like they do on match of the day and stuf f, so you can see how the manager thinks how his team played and also on the next FIFA could you put up this thing where you can put music from ur computer onto the game so it can be in the Ea trAX? And you can also put it from ur playstation to ur computer again.

    culd u put liverpools luis garcia’s trademark celebration on there? it’s the one where he sucks his thumb…..

    I want the player to have more control over the team (everyone will know what i mean if they’ve played pro evo). I want to feel in total control of the team, which i dont with current fifa games, but do with pro evolution soccer.

    Every team liscened if possible + stadiums, and more sponsors on kit/balls/boots etc.
    Change the way balls are played, especially through balls and long balls. Just to add more realism to it

    when you win a cup in pes you see your team presented with the trophy so i think that you shud have this in fifa with the manager joining in with celebrations. I think fifa wud be so much better if the fans are in 3d and you see people like ball boys and subs moving round in back ground and it wud be good if you cud make a stadium but only for teams who stadium isn’t in the game so you can’t make one for chealsea as stamford bridge is in game.

    fifa 07 is best fifa yet but why was old trafford the same as last year
