when you win a cup in pes you see your team presented with the trophy so i think that you shud have this in fifa with the manager joining in with celebrations. I think fifa wud be so much better if the fans are in 3d and you see people like ball boys and subs moving round in back ground and it wud be good if you cud make a stadium but only for teams who stadium isn’t in the game so you can’t make one for chealsea as stamford bridge is in game fifa 07 is best fifa yet but why was old trafford the same as last year
I would like to see in fifa 08:
1. become national manager as well as club manager so you can play world cup and europen championships during season mode and pick the squads 4 it.
2. build your own stadium in manager mode
3. have more stadiums on the game e.g. tottenham’s, southampton’s, boltan’s, celtic and rangers etc.
4. insteed of your created player being able to be 99 straight away i think you should have maximum amount of points to spend on him and then build him up more to make him better, like on tiger wood games.
5. have chairman leaving, quiting or selling the club now and again and have new board come in to make it more excting
6. snow and players wearing gloves when its cold
7. have holland in international!!!
8. custom formations!!!
Beach soccer would be nice. EA can release a news game for beach soccer like FIFA Beach.
I would like to see a more complex manager mode. Fifa has made great strides but including World Cup play every four years for manager mode would be great. The area that I would like to see is if you are a good manager depending on your prestige as manager possibly get job offers to lead a national team to the world cup selecting the players you would like to be on the national team.
I think fifa could do way better than winning eleven because first of all it has all the original teams and players but winning eleven has some lisenses only.I think that fifa 08 should have skill moves for both xbox 360 and the ps3 also fifa shoud make the soccer jerseys better looking or more realistic.
A few notes on the gameplay; it’s a bit unrealistic how one can dribble the ball past midfield and almost immediately hit a brick wall of defenders, which breaks up the fluidity of play. Also, it would be nice to be able to quickly move between teams for squad and player editing. I don’t like having to go back to the main menu after editing one team just to edit another.
like dosh (only person i can see at the moment who is comleymenting fifa for it achieve ment i always think it is a crackin game but there are a few problems like; some of the ratings are completly off like podoski a 96 and before the world cup not many people had even heard of him and then you get a quality player like freddy adu who 2 years ago when he was 14 chelsea and manchester united offered 14million for him but he turned them down because he wanted to stay in te u.s with his mum and in the game his rating is only around 69???????. Another thing i remember is when u create a player u can make him 99 everything and he iz AMAZINGLY good but i like in the old club football games when you have a certain number of point to spend on upgrading your player say u start wif 1,500 point u cant max out everything but u have to think about were he plays and what skills you should let him have. also i think the create a club bit is brillant but i think they should give u more choice i.e when you get a sponcer u put it on your shirt( i no that other kit can t because of the advertise rights and stuff but.)also i like the idea of becoming the maneger of a international team.also i wsh in maneger mode you had more choice of what to do so i you fan support was low go to office and do something to put fans back on your side i no internal memo does this but i would like it on the menu aswell : – ).also i think you should be alound to create a new stadium if you want to so if you saved up or just get a millionaire/billionaire to become your chairman you can create your own stadium . also on internal memo when you met fans i think you should hav a choice to have a kick about wif them in like a parking lot area (i would love to see footballers playing football in suites lol) playng aginst die hard fans of that club.
First of all congrats Fifa 07 is great (im enjoying myself)
I think somebody else said this but it would be good if you could create your own stadium.
It would be cool if you could build a new stadium for manager mode.
Please consider my idea.
Heres an idea for EA a create a stadium mode:
It would be very hard to implement this feature into the Fifa series but if they did add it into the game I believe the game would be much more fun. I think if they combined the create a stadium features of the different manager games such as Football manager and LMA manager and the MLB game we could have such variety in the way we have our stadiums. (They could also include features that have never been used before)
You will have a budget depending on how much that club will have in real life – so if you are Barcelona you are likely to have more money to build a stadium than an English League 2 side.
Heres how I think it could work:
Part 1 Size and Shape:
In this section you would choose how big all 4 sides of the stadium are so you could have all 4 sides with different capacity which would look odd but you would have lots of choice any way.
The two long sides of the stadium could go up as far as 40000 each.
The two shorter sides (sides behind the goal) could go up as far as 30000 each.
You wouldn’t be able to just pick a number like 32456 though you would have options such as:
5000, 10000, 12500 and so on to pick from.
Next would be the choice of the shape of each side of the stadium so after you pick the size of each of the sides different options would come up of how you want each side to look:

And you would have the same options for each side unless you choose for a bigger/smaller capacity on that side so you would have different options.
Part 2 Colours:
Next you can choose the colours of each side of the stadium and included would be a colour feature similar to the colour slider in Paint:

Part 3 Pitch design:
You will have a list for the patterns that will be on the turf on your pitch and you will be able to choose any of these.
Part 4 outside of stadium:
For this part you will be able to select what the outside of your stadium is made of also you will be able to choose one colour there will be a list of options for example:
Concrete
Glass
I can’t think of more right now but the materials do very between stadiums.
Part 5 Ad boards and logos:
You will also be able to choose from a list of ad boards to put in your stadium similar to the feature in LMA manager.
You will also be able to choose whether your club name is written across the seats in the stadium in either medium or big and in what colour.
You can also choose to have your club badge logo on the outside of the stadium like this:

Part 6 Naming:
You will be able to choose what city you place it in if you are a new club and then you would choose outskirts or city centre, which would be the area in which the stadium goes in the city.
You will now get to view how your stadium looks and using the left and right analog sticks you will be able to look right the way around your stadium and be able to zoom in and out.
If you are happy with it you then press continue and you will be able to name your stadium something like the New Nou Camp or whatever you wish.
The obvious one is MORE LEAGUES FOR THE 360!!! But other than that, I was thinking of maybe a little more of a TV broadcast style. Also, along the lines of repositioning, it would be cool if you could train a player to be more accustomed to a position that wasn’t his primary, a la Alan Smith of ManU. Playing a fwd in the game in a mid role makes him unhappy. Playing at such a high level consistently, though, should make a player like that happy anyways.
Fifa has always missed legends e.g Cruff, Koeman Pele etc
The immense battles I have with the PES boys with classic Holland are awesome Cruff can hit a ball from distance as well as Koeman on the free kicks.
Like PES It would be good if you can manipulate the players position easier dropping the centre backs a little back and tweaking the wingers to come a little less wide and stuff like that, tell Fifa you know it makes sense
I think that FIFA 08 should have the Austrralian A-League. It might be a new league but its stronger than half the leagues already in FIFA like the Belgium league, Ligue 2, Bundesliga 2, Austria League. At least have Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC, QLD Roar and Adelaide United in the Rest of world.
Also can we have the full Argentinian League with apertura and clausura. Plus Dynamo Kyiv, Crvena Zvezda, Dinamo Zagreb, CSKA Moscow and Steaua Bucharest in Rest of World.

for 1 i think you should ad the A League 2 Fifa series are my favorite but i was let down by the fact that there was no a league fifa is way better den that konami Junk that has the worst animation and graphics i seriusly dnt see why people can calll it better and a better manager mode like Football Manager just a bit tuned down

For the create a player feature include the ability to choose boots like nike, puma, addidas, r’bk, etc. Also include all the international teams if possible and include the South African leagues in the game also make the commentators have the ability to pronounce any name the way they would pronounce it as it makes the game more realistic, even if someone puts the surname like dayaram enable them to be able to pronounce and put all soccer commentators voices in the game so that there can be different combinations of commentators also make them say different things every match not the same thing over and over again.

Vid 1: Players kick off, attempts to pass to player in centre circle and pass heads off to the wing (not as intended) and is intercepted. Barca then give away possession and Milan attempt a through ball which goes straight to a Barca player instead of down the wing as intended for the Milan player who is actually running on. Ball is then passed out of defence and then an attempted pass is intercepted (again!) and all this is less than 3 mins in to game.

Vid 3: The amazing hit and hope Goal kick (bring back the guide arrow thing so at least we have some idea where the ball is going) Milan through balls intercepted constantly by barca players, surely a Milan player would be good enough to slip one through the defence? Ronaldinho (one of the greatest players currently in the world) can’t complete a simple enough chip pass without the ball being intercepted (look close the ball never even looks like getting to the Barca player who is suddenly in the lap of the EA AI gods and basically uncontrollable by the player).

Vid 4: Ball is cleared by the Milan defence and knocked forward, at this point the Milan striker becomes uncontrollable allowing the Barca defender free reign to receive the ball and clear his lines. Barca player attempts a cross and at this point the intended Barca player in the box is in front of the Milan defender but at this point the Barca player becomes uncontrollable and in the lap of the EA AI gods and the Milan defender is able to receive the ball and clear his lines.

I think the goalie animations need to be improved. I play with my friends in a lounge, and we always argue over the legitimacy of the goals. If the goalie animations were better we wouldnt have to argue as much. Especially when buffon (a 92 overall) falls backwards and allows a shot to go right over his head. Instead just have the player put the ball out of reach so that it looks like a real goal, and not a retarded goalie.
How about including African Cub teams like Enyimba (Nigeria) Al-aly (Egypt), Esperance (Tunisia). And since FIFA has came out I’ve never seen an African player on the cover, how about considering Okocha on the cover of the next FIFA.
i like the idea of momentum as a team but i think doin this on an individual player level will be cool take for example you play as manchester united and your loosin 1-0 your team moral will be down but big players e.g rooney, ronaldo will still be on a high tryin to turn the game but players like vidic, carrick will be lower and on a more personal level an option could be to make everyone truly individual and have there own momentum and base this on how each player is playing you can already carry stats for each player so why not when a player like carrick for manchester united again is not passing or tackleing as good as normal h becomes even worse and cant get into the game but say if you score with rooney this fills him with momentum and easier to get another with him
Bitte bringt mal ein bißchen bessere Grafik ins Spiel, ich meine damit Details wie z.B. Graß wie bei Oblivion usw. klar das zieht performance aber man sollte schon mit der technik gehen und nicht das spiel für gamer mit low-end rechner entwickeln. Außerdem könnte man mal darüber nachdenken das Speil erst dann zu veröffentlichen wenn es fertig ist und nicht so wie bei FIFA 2007, wo man (egal welche Hardware man hat) auf High-Detail in Zeitlupe seine Torwiederholung anschauen kann. Ansonsten ist es nen geiles Spiel, ich finde auch super das ihr die Lizenzen für die Spielernamen alle habt.

Like William said above.. We go with him.. We feel the player size ratio with that of the pitch is too small when (esp seen from TELE cam) so they kinda look distorted.. But in PRO EVO we feel that ratio is perfect and that makes us view the player biometrics also from a height.(TELE) In contrast FIFA06 is really good only when viewed up close in FREE CAM.. Only then the player biometrics is seen.. PLEASE CORRECT THIS..

In FIFA06 we found a flaw.. When i gave a cross from the left wing the ball swung in the air beyond the keepers reach and came down right thru the crossbar from the top.. and bounced on the line then it was cleared by a defender.. The ball did not bounce off the crossbar when the ball came from the top.. It just acted like hollow and let the ball thru making it bounce off the goalline.. Please correct this in FIFA 08..

Thankyou Shearer (post number 210) he has also asked for more teams and said Dinamo Zagreb and thes stadium is Maksimir Stadion whcih translates to Stadium on Maksimir thus Maksimir Stadium… Althougb please do us a favour, can u add in the stadium as complete. It is currently undergoing renevations ot change it form a 40,000 capacity to a 60,000 capicity stadium and ijn my opinion the roofing and the clubs offices make it look very much like a Croatian version of Old Trafford… Atleast we’ll get to see our completede stadium, it may take them a few more years…Ohh and with Maksimir stadium, just remember that the pitch is checkered to resemble the Croatian Coat of Arms not just a normal pitch… : )
Some ideas I had where:
- For all the players who don’t play in the team listed please include as many teams as possible into rest of world cough (i.e., Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split).
- Please add in more stadiums.
- Make the crowds more realistic
- For players who still won’t be included except for internationals please have a place where they can be edited and put into “your own club” as well.
- I think each country, which does not have a league, should have 2 teams at least added to the game in “The Rest of World� section (or at least team which qualify for cups such as UEFA cup and Champions League and other clubs which come very close to making the tournaments, i.e. Dinamo Zagreb who manage to qualify for the “UEFA Cup� regularly and have manage to qualify for the “Champions League� a couple of times as well as reaching the last qualifying stage of the “Champions League� but this season they failed to beat their final opponents. Dinamo have great players such as Luka Modirc and Eduardo Da Silva, who are both being closely observed by Europe’s top clubs, i.e. Man U. A long with many other quality players such as Marijan Buljat, Vedran Ćorluka, Oelilton Araujo dos Santos – Etto, there are plenty more who could be mentioned.
- Making “A Rest of Europe�, “Rest of Asia�, “Rest of America� and “Rest of Africa� sections, could make the “Rest of World� section bigger and thus better as it would include far more teams and thus far more players which in turn means more players on the transfer market so that means more hidden gems and that furthers the games realism.
hey! does anyone else think that the pitches are far too big in the fifa series? football pitches arent that big… theres too much space for the players to run which is very unrealistic! the players look way too small in comparison to the pitches! i would really like to see the pitches sized realistically in fifa 08 and i would also like to see northern irish teams like glentoran fc, linfield fc and derry city maybe included in the “rest of the world” section, these teams are three major teams in northern ireland who compete in uefa cup football and champions league qualifiers!

in fifa 08 the surrounding areas such as the crowd, ball boys and camera men should all be in 3D, no more cardbord looking people. you should also have to make your own manager rarther than choosing a picture of what he looks like and you can then see him shouting orders from the touchline similar to what club football did and you should also see subs warming up and add more coulors to the fans e.g. club shirts home and away fans, as it is these litte things that people notice that make the gameplay seem better to. and also add a button like l3 or sothing like that that makes your keeper run up for set plays (only wen loosing of course) and why can’t players go in goal they can in real life so why not in fifa and why cant we see our team hold the cups when we win them
A: Weiterhin den Realismus des Spiels verbessern. Am besten einfach das ganze Gameplay bei Konami abschauen. Dann wird das schon. Oder einfach Konami aufkaufen und dann das perfekte Fußballspiel (Goldene Mitte aus Fifa und PES) machen.
B: Hallenmodus. Ein Traum der sicherlich nie in Erfüllung geht, denn der Modus ist außerhalb von Deutschland nicht gut angekommen.
C: Die gleiche Grafik wie auf den billigen Konsolen. Kann doch nicht sein, dass das Spiel auf einer 3*0 besser aussieht als auf dem PC.
D: Kein Ronaldinho und kein Podolski mehr auf das Cover setzen.
E: Replay Funktion: Direktes Speichern als .avi Datei oder ähnliches. Dann muss man nicht immer Gamecam und Co. benutzen.
Eigentlich bin ich ganz zufrieden mit 07. Es ist zwar nicht so realistisch wie PES, aber EA ist schonmal auf den richtigen Weg.
Dieses Jahr denke ich sogar darüber nach ob ich mir noch PES 6 dazu hole. Letztes Jahr habe ich das einfach blind gemacht.

Außerdem sehen die Security und die Fotografen am Spielfeldrand schrecklich aus, warum nicht in 3D?.
Warum sieht man eigentlich nur auf der XBOX 360 die Trainer am Spiefeldrand?
Und der Rasen sieht auch grauenvoll aus, man will ein saftiges Grün als Fußballfan !
Mir gefiel der Kommentator von Fifa06 besser als die beiden jetzigen, oda Werner Hansch von RTWC 98 konnte man auch sehr gut zuhören.
Es herrscht keine richtige “Festtagsstimmung” im Stadion: Flaggen,mehr Fangesänge und bunte Schals könnten da nachhelfen.

I think they should bring back the ability to do that ‘trick’ in the 95 version where, if you stood your player just in front of the keeper when he was punting it forward, the ball would smack off your guys head and go in the goal.
Oh, and a football holligan mini game where you get to control fighting english fans or, if you are playing in a place like italy, the over zelous police.
oh yeh bring back being able to tackle the goalkeeper and bring in a nhl beat up players or referee option.
My ideas for FIFA 08:
- Include all the national teams even with unreal names
- Work more on players anathomy
- Spectators should be 3d in stadium
- More cinematic scences like when the players entering to stadium, when they giving autographs …
- More flags, badgets, kits and … for create club
I remember on FIFA 2003 you could unlock the Stade de France, Seoul Stadium and the Yokohoma stadium. Please put them on again.

players from america always seem to just run up the field from kick off and score, that is so unrealistic.
changes to Fifa 08
01..don’t let the computer take over the player as soon as the goal keeper picks up the ball…
02..better formations that can defend against certain formations.
03…no goals should be allowed to be scored just by kicking the ball as far forward as possible…
04..harder to score headers.
Hello. I want to add something more to FIFA 08
- Please, improve behaviour of referee and liners. Referee mustn’ t stand near goalkeeper when he take out the ball from penalty area. Liners, I think, shouldn’t just run near the line, they must signale offsides, througs outs… But they just runs and watch the game.
- And the second request: PLEASE add Russian Premier League and the First Division. I’am waiting for it every year.

I want the Victoria Stadium. Its the Necaxa´s stadium. Necaxa its a team of Mexico and one of most important clubs of Mexico. Please I want that stadium!!!
In game:for simulating better we can see refree mistake also manager,holigan and SUB player reflex for mistake.we can see ball collector,fotographer,scoreboard and etc. everything that can help better simulating.I think these option cause more exciting game and the player never get board while he is enjoying the game.
It would be cool if you had all the champions leagues and then all the winners got to play for the FIFA World Club Championship. Another idea is to add transfer swaps and allocations.
It should be cool – to create not only players but Leagues.
