The features that I would like to see in FIFA08 are….
CREATE A STADIUM, You could choose things like if you want you’re advertising board’s to be digital or normal, the different types of Stands and the stadium name.
HYUNDAI A-LEAGUE, I think that Australia’s national league should be included in the game, If the A-league is too much of a big ask at least have Sydney FC and/or Melbourne Victory in the Rest of World..
DESIGN BOOT’S AND BALLS: I would LOVE to be able to make my own boots and/or balls.
BETTER CREATE A CLUB/ FRANCHISE MODE: This years edition was pretty good i had FIFA06 and the only real reason i got 07 is because if this feature, you coukd use your created club in Manger Mode and as a franchise as you begin your sponsor and star-less club in the bottom division you make it up to the Top-Flight and you gain more sponsors and money along the way the when youve finally won the league in the Top-Flight you get more Big-name players and you can use the Custom Stadium mode to change your old 9.000 seat stadium to a 100,000 all seater and you get sponsors such as Nike, Adidas, RbK, MasterCard, McDonalds, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Fly Emirates and so on…..

Oh and one more idea:
Classic matches. Scenarios that you have to complete, rather then the, sometimes tedious, Fifa 07 Challeges, this classic matches format would allow you to play in matches to determine the result. eg. ‘You are Liverpool agains AC Milan in the Champions league final, its half time and you are 3-0 down’ Come back from this scoreline and go on to win. and as you start the game, your players would be demoralised.

Fifa 07 is absolutely amazin, the new ball physics may not be to everyones tastes but in my opinion, they add a new, deeper dimension of football, making fifa more realistic and lifelike. In comparison with fifa 06, 07 has vastly improved as now (as with real life), you cannot hit a volley with 100% accuracy all the time and also the differentation between players dominant and weaker foot is amazing as it is far more realistic. It makes player playing fifa think more before attempting a shot.
WHATS AMAZING??:
- New keeper animations, with them spilling balls and taking nasty deflections.
- Free kick system. More realistic and involves more skill
- Crowd chants finally bring some atmosphere into the match
- Ball physics. because not every ball moves the same when it is hit. Any person who has ever played Sunday league football will understand and welcome this new feature as it brings a whole new level of realism to the game.
- Graphics. Have been pretty spectacular since 2002 but 2007 takes this to a whole new level. The majority of players finally look life like, rather then just the odd 50 players
THE PROBLEMS:
There aren’t many but…:
-Inconsistency in referees. Now i know theres alot of debate on referee inconsistancy in the real game but fifa takes this slighty too far- Refs will often blow up on a foul when it is a shoulder barge but not pick up on a professional foul, nowhere near the ball, in the area. This, for me, is a huge flaw in what would otherwise be the perfect game.
MY IDEAS:
1- Having a ‘Moment of Inspiration’ Shot of some kind. Slightly like the EA-BIG games GAMEBREAKERS but this could be where, once your team build up enough momentum and is in control of the game or the crowd is right behind you, you could press a certain button combination and the same would slow down considerably and you would enter a first person camera mode for about 5 seconds. In this 5 seconds, you would have a small red dot, this would show where the ball will go and the red dot would move around the goal in a random direction, with the speed of the dot depending on how far out your plaer was. After the 5 seconds, the game would speed back up to normal pace and your player will unleash the shot. Just an idea.
2. Fifa where you control only one player. Seems a bit crazy but could be a good game. Where you are one player, starting off from the school football matches as a youngster, and slowly develop your skills and trying to make your way up 2 the best team. Has the potential to be an absolutely fantastic game, taking on board instructions from you manager you may be told to drop off, push up, cross deep, run into space, offload, shoot etc. and depending on how you perform you could get subbed. This would be a bit different and certainly original and would involve the player looking at new elements of the game like stamina, confidence and you wouldnt have 100% control over how your team performs as you would only be controlling 1 player.

Regarding Manager Mode:
*There should be a dedicated “off-season” to negotiate transfers before any of the games start.
*Promotion and relegation should come with more substantial financial rewards and punishments. A slight increase in ticket prices isn’t enough. What about broadcast rights? What about “parachute payments?”
*Sponsors need to realistically reflect team accomplishments, not how many stars the team is rated or your prestige ranking, though those should be taken into account as well. Same with board expectations.
*A wider variety of ways to produce money for the team.
*An occasional buyout of your team with accompanying infusion of cash would be nice. Not often, but once or twice in a fifteen year cycle.
*There should be more of an incentive to switch teams. Other teams should recruit the manager with some kind of incentive.
*Approving a stadium design (and budget) would be nice. You should also have to wait more than one game for it to be built.
*Automated reserve team play, so that you can cultivate players without having to put them in your lineup. They shouldn’t grow as fast, but they shoud still grow.
In sum, I think a goal of manager mode should be turning a one-star team into a four-five-star team in less than 15 years. In 07, that’s difficult. I’m in my sixth seasoon (prestige level 8) with a one-star English team that started out in the bottom division. Yet, despite winning everything possible, I still get about $15,000 in sponsorship money per game. It’s difficult to actually grow (aka MANAGE) the team with those kinds of unrealistic constraints. Right now I’m at 2.5 stars.
My major source of income right now is signing free agents that I can’t afford and selling them right away.
Other recommendations:
-Re-use sound files for all players of the same last name in the game, and record the names of all the teams.
-Why are there sound clips for extremely unlikely events (like one player scoring seven goals), but not for more likely ones (like the names of each invididual cup)?

Three main things:
- Try and add a ‘just one player’ mode. I mean like in madden, where you chose a player on a team and you cn only play as that player the whole game..so ur view and what you do (runs and stuff) are all from only a left mid’s point of view or something..i would buy the game for that alone if it was done well
- Also, a 5 v 5 futsal would be a great idea like many people have already said..i rmmbr playing it a helluva lot in ‘98 i think it was
- The shooting mechanic and controls need a change. I know theyr quite different in 07 but it would be great to see many more options when it come to shooting and maybe even passing.
theres more in terms of player movements and AI but those r the main things that would make playinf fifs that much more fun

Ideas for fifa 08 current gen:
For me, everything in a good sports game starts with a good AI. I have nothing to say about the attacking gameplay, almost perfect.
Then comes the midfield gameplay: I think some complexity misses in fifa in this area. The lobs goes to any player with much curve effect. The players in general don’t move by themselves, they don’t have any initiative to run, to ask for passes, for anything, although you can see this problem much less than in previous fifas. Anyway, players must be free of thinking by themselves.
The defense: this is one of the most imperfect things in the game. They just persecute the attacker, and from far far away. They don’t go to rob directly the ball to another player, they just look the ball until the player who has it, lose it for any stupid reason like crashing other player. I have the sensation that I can shoot from everywhere, without being stoped by any defender.
The goalkeeper: this guy has to be renewed completely. Why can’t he go out from his goal without your help? I can’t understand that, mainly in what supose to be a hand-to-hand, because this doesn’t exist. They cannot do this. And when you command him to go out from his goal to catch a simple ball, there’s like an invisible wall that doesn’t allow the goalkeeper to advance more.
The ball physics: It’s ok, but if you want to give us a really good football game, full of possibilities, I think you must improve the ball, in such a way that the ball just be 10% controlable or something like that.
Other problem I see, are the normal passes and passes to an empty space. In these cases the ball bounces much more than in reality and this causes a match loses activity and speed. And all this because the bad AI of the defenders, they can’t react to the actions that happen.
Two other things; graphic motor is very old, so I suggest to change it.
Please, include a tool to edit the faces of the players included in the game and of course add the possibility to make custom formations and individual strategies.

You need to put in all 207 international teams along with all continental and international tournaments. Also let us be able to manage international teams in manager mode. As far as gameplay, how about giving us the option tp play 45 min halves. Snow, you need to put in snow and better weather effects. For example if it rains the pitch should get muddy and slippery, if it is cold, players should wear gloves. We should also be able to hold training sessions where players have a slight chance of getting hurt. They would also have a chance to pull a muscle during matches or something along those lines. You should also put in real stadiums like the one in Brazil that holds 200,000 people. Also in manager mode when you lose games they should show empty seats for your next home game. the more you win the more fans will come to your home games. And please improve the goalie AI. He’s too easy to beat on all levels. You need to put in the leagues of Argentina(all divisions not just the 1st divison). The Iranian league needs to be in there too. And the J-Leagues 1 and 2(Japan).

I’m both an avid Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA player, and the only thing holding the FIFA series back dramatically is the gameplay.
Not that its absolutely crap, but it could be fined tuned a hell of a lot.
For starters, the goalkeeper AI fluctuates every year from being too hard to being a 9 year old kid trying to save a shot from Wayne Rooney. You have to find the right mix, because every year the goalkeeper AI is well off.
Secondly, you need to fine tune the ball mechanics, the way it moves and the way players react to it. I’ve had situations where the ball bounces over my players head when he is facing the opposite way, and suddenly the ball just appears at his feet. Also, some of the shots you can score (40 yards out, twice in a game) aren’t quite realistic.
On a positive note, one thing that FIFA obviously has over Pro Evo is the licensing. The only problem is, i think a few more leagues and stadiums could be added (Chinese League, Australian A-League, Westfalonstadoin, San Siro)

There is absolutely noway i could enjoy this pathetic buggy game. It looks awful, the gameplay is annoying. I wonder if even one of the developers has ever seen a real match or even played one?! Its just so unnatural behaviouor of the players and the switch is really annoying aswell, i dont see the point of switching to a player that is behind the one with the ball when there are 4 in front of him and he is sprinting… The freekicks are just too easy! The goalkeeper is acting really wierd when he can collect a free bouncing ball and a player is running to it . I dont play the single player it bores me to death and when i play with my buddys we are laughing and laughing on the absurd behaviuor of all the players and the ridiculous goals we score each other. Really guys go out check the ball bouncing and spinning in the air! And really… ProEvolution Soccer 5 remains the best football game ever!
Go fishing or choping woods or whatever you do guys, leave the football and dont touch it with your greedy fingers.

Ok this is mainly to do with finesse shots also when someone takes a finesse shot your goalies react differently to the shot basically they allow the shot to go over them when they could easily catch the ball or they do a delayed jump just when the ball has gone over their head to make it look like they tried to catch the ball this is pathetic atleast make the goalkeepers reactions lifelike they should be catching 90% of these finesse shots with ease I mean after all thats what a finesse shot is an easier ball for the keeper to save just has added curl.

Part 2 Finesse shots
Fifa 07’s finesse shots are far too easy you can score from impossible angles and distances far too consistently to call this realistic you could take a few lessons from Pro Evolution Soccer 6 in this department as they have got finesse shots spot on they have made it very hard to score finesse shots consistently and your lucky to score a finesse shot 1/100 times. In fifa I can guarantee you will score a finesse shot 9/10 times in any difficulty setting from certain positions mainly around the whole of the box you can score finesse shots from to your heart content this is far too unrealistic.

Hello my name is Lawrence Buchanan Browne I was a finalist for an event called the
FIWC ”FIFA INTERACTIVE WORLD CUP” http://www.fifa.com/fiwc this was held last weekend.
I would just like to put my point across on this game there are many things I like and feel should be kept and many things that dont need to be taken away but need to be redesigned to work flawlessly.
Ok to start off with I want to complain about the Sprint trick which you have called ”Lane Change” the problem with this is online and offline is that certain players for exp Henry,Ronaldinho,C.Ronaldo, can go upto 3 times quicker than any other player on the pitch using this trick all you have to do is flick the right analog stick without pressing any buttons + without touching the left analog stick and watch how quick you can go this is obviously something people creating the game had not looked over during development so shame on you EA as everyone used this trick during the ”FIWC” and use it online alot also.

something else thats wrong with this game is that if im goin to slide tackle some1 and as im in the movement of slidin and the player tries to move the ball around me or chip it over me it shudnt be a foul and it definetly shudnt be a red card (which is wut happened to me) cuz if i go to slide in and at the last second he moves the ball how in the world can i stop myself from hittin him and if he didnt move the ball i would of hit smack dab right in the middle of the ball so therefore that shud not be a foul….also make a game where THE OTHER TEAM CANT KICK THROUGH MY PLAYERS BODY thats really annoying….o also i love how in 07 and 06 half the time u through ball to ur other player it goes directly to the other team so i dont kno how thats a through ball…and if ur gonna make tackles like i earlier explained ^ red cards then u shud make it so if i get pushed down in the box or am on a breakaway and get tripped that shud be a red card bcuz 90% of the time the team just gets a foul no yellow or red card….and also the other team needs to get more fouls and red cards….also wen my guys are runnin to a freeball i sit there and hold down speed burst and he doesnt run any faster he just jogs to the ball and i try to move him left or right n it doesnt let me he just keeps runnin straight and i wanna kno how i go from Watford in the FA Premiere and winning everygame 2-0 3-0 4-0 5-0 and 6-0 to Lens in the french orange league to only bein able to win 1-0 and losin and tieing other games…also freekicks shud be more consistent bcuz i had one free kick from outside the box and it went it im in the same position do everything exactly the same except for mayb the speed and the ball one high and wide to the right also theres alot of kicks that i have where i’ll be comin down the right side and and aim left and kick it with the inside of my foot and the ball will bend left and then back right sence wen do u kick the ball towards the left side of the net with the inside of ur foot and it does to the right….also theres alot of weak B.S. calls and i get red or yellow cards its like everytime i slide tackle i get a foul or red or yellow card….also if ur gonna have the advantage rule in there and i slide tackle some1 and the ref plays the advantage dont make the game blow the whistle wen that team gets the ball and starts runnin with it

ONe thing that I think everyone agrees with is the freekicks. Taking the freekick is fine, but the positioning is bad. There is 6 set freekick angles. You should take the freekick from were the foul occured, not moved to the nearest ‘checkpoint’. Please fix this. Thanks.

Fifa 07 is a great game i personally love it but there is a few things i would like to see in fifa 08.Things like the availability of all kinds of shoes such as adidas nike puma cause the shoes in 07 and 06 look really cheap and they suck alot.There should also be more international teams and leagues such as Bulgarian,Ukraine and Russian and there should also be Champions league. The celebration Packs are good but there also should be more.

I’d like to see more real stadiums like the Allianz Arena and that you can build your own stadium, because the stadium at the highest upgrade looks really ugly. I would also like to see more realistic players and games, especiallywhen you play against teams like Barcelona or Chelsea. More shoes would also be better. And finally I would make a difference between freekick, penalty and corner (like FM).

i feel that you should make all the players look like they do in real life or realistic as possible including for example the lower leagues in england ie the championship,league one etc etc. i also feel that when there is an injury the other players can go for a drinks break and talk to the manager. Also you should show the substition and have the player be cheered or booed depending on their performance.

hello it ’s me again. i think u should make a new way to unlock players and unlockables eg.teams soccer balls.u should make mini games to unlock these stuff and we wont get bored as fast. make the crowd better like pes(pes reallllly sucks compared to fifa)make more emotion like more chants when ur winning and less when ur losing.and also pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase include the a league. it only been around for a little while but its already better than so many leagues around the world and people dont think it deserves to be in 08 but it does. so please include the a league please .bye bye a league! aleague! a league!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please……..i know where u live EA , i know where u live……!

Allow “Create-A-Teams” to be able to switch leagues. For example, I started out with all 50 and 60 level players and began in the K-League (Korean). I have played several seasons and now my team is very highly-rated. Thus, I am beating up everyone in the K-League. It isn’t a challenge. I’d like to move this team to one of the European leagues. I cannot, which means I have to start over again.

also another comment i get pushed down alot while im in the box or just outside the box ill be running with the ball and just get completely clearly pushed from the back or side and there wont be a penalty kick or advantage or any kind of foul you have to make that more realistic because if you watch real soccer like the Premiere leagues they call everything and i cud of had alot more penalty kicks if they called them

one major comment i wud love to put is that if ur gonna make a game realistic one major thing is stop letting defenders put there legs through other players bodies to either steal the ball or kick the ball all the way down the field because that has happened to me atleast 25 times

i would like you to indriduce a more realistic Manager mode. For example instead of you choosing the club which you prefer, you have to start off at the very bottom (eg Domestic League) and work your way up to the top. Manager Mode should include tournaments such as World Cup and Euro. For instance a Manager has succeeded in clubs such as Hull, Coventry, Sheffield, Tottenham and Liverpool. If the manager is successful than he can be appointed coach at international level ? What are you thoughts ?

When an opposing player tackles you, especially a bad tackle and theirs no foul, you should be able to dive to try and get one. This should result in getting the free kick or you getting a book-in for unapropriate diving. Plus if a player gets hit badly you should be able to remain on the ground or roll around like the italians, this will completely change the gamelpay.

it would be awesome if sideline camera’s and commentator camera’s were added during halftime or goal kicks e.g. You should totally be able to see injured players getting treatment on the pitch or the sidelines aswell as players warming up. This would make the FIFA series unbelievably real especially on next-gen consoles

my first message hasnt reached you so im sending it again: Have all the national teams. get 2 new cameras: from the players eye and from just behind the player.
Include world cup and champions league in tournament mode. Have street football in Game Modes. And also get the top 10 goals like in fifa 06

i forgot to say one thing thing in my earlier message, have the opposing team foul a bit more and get penalised for fouling bcoz i have fifa 07 in which i got elbowed really hard in the D and the ref didnt do anything

Get all the international teams like in germany 06. Have the world cup in tournament mode. Have a camera that is from the players point of view. A lso have a camera from just behind the player. Try and Include street football in game modes. Get the top 10 goals back in Extras like in fifa 06

I like fifa very much.I want you put leage & country of Iran.please change area of game
until improve & make good fifa08.please change area of option & game settings &
change the fifa manager to improve it.please put championship leage & worldcup in
