Which Stadiums Will be Featured in FIFA 20?

FIFA 20 Stadiums Ideas

FIFA 20 is set for a September 27th release date. Excitement is growing over the new edition of the game and all the new updates, upgrades, and features that will be inside it. One of the hot topics that FIFA players always want to know about is which stadiums will be featured in the game. Fans do not have to wait until the new FIFA game is released to enjoy great football fun. With the Copa America, Women’s World Cup, and Africa Cup of Nations being played right now, fans can use the code to wager on their favorite nations to win silverware. With the days counting down to the newest release in the FIFA franchise, here is a look at the stadiums confirmed so far and some that could be included.

New Stadium Additions for FIFA 20

Every year video gamers debate FIFA vs PES and they are always split over which game is better. One of FIFA’s best points is the stadiums and detail used to create them. FIFA 20 will see the addition of at least three new stadiums. Benfica’s Estadio Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane, and Lyon’s Groupama Stadium are all expected to be in this year’s game.

EA Sports’ connection to the Premier League, the league with the most detail of any in the FIFA franchise, has meant all 20 stadiums have been featured in the game since 2015. Therefore, Bramall Lane will be joined by Aston Villa’s Villa Park and Norwich City’s Carrow Road.

Unless something happens to EA Sports’ relationship with the Premier League, it almost a certain all three English venues will be featured in the game. Lyon’s Groupama Stadium and Benfica’s Estadio Sport Lisboa e Benfica are not confirmed yet, but look likely as FIFA 20’s release date nears.

Rumoured stadiums for the FIFA 20

There are a number of other major football stadiums that could feature in this year’s FIFA release. Galatasaray’s Turk Telekom Stadium is one venue fans are looking for in FIFA 20. The stadium was opened in 2011 and its omission leaves one of Europe’s noisiest venues out of the game. It was believed Germany’s Hoffenheim would have their Rhein-Neckar-Arena included in FIFA 19. The venue didn’t make the final cut of stadiums but is good value to be included in this year’s release. Due to Hoffenheim’s growing status in the Bundesliga, it would be a worthy inclusion.

Stadiums Fans Want for FIFA 20

Unfortunately, FIFA and PES are in an arms race that sees the duo sign up exclusive deals with leagues, clubs, and competitions. Stadiums are one of the exclusive deals the two games fight over. Thanks to their contracts with clubs, FIFA is missing some key venues including Camp Nou, Ibrox, and Celtic Park.

All three venues are stadia that hardcore football fans, and supporters of those clubs, desperately want in FIFA 20. With FIFA 20’s release just months away, more stadia will hopefully be confirmed and perhaps one or two surprises will make the final list.

  1. Besides Bramall Lane (Sheffield United), and Estádio da Luz (SL Benfica) and Parc OL (Olympique Lyonnais), you must to add the UEFA competitions official stadiums as Vodafone Park (Beşiktaş JK), Atatürk Olimpiyat, PGE Arena (Lechia Gdańsk) and Estádio do Dragão (FC Porto), same as LaLiga Santander promoted 17-18 season teams José Zorrilla (Real Valladolid), El Alcoraz (SD Huesca) and Municipal de Vallecas (Rayo Vallecano) and this last season promoted El Sadar (CA Osasuna), Nuevo Los Cármenes (CF Granada) and Son Moix Stadi (RCD Mallorca), and all Bundesliga stadiums at last of the last season, including 1.FC Nürnberg, Hannover 96 and VfB Stuttgart

    1. Please add galatasaray stadium Turk telecom stadium/ Ali Sami yen. Back in 2000 you guys did do it so please do it again.

  2. Apart Brammal Lane, which is all but confirmed, I think it is more or less confirmed (“more or less”, like, in fact, 99%), FIFA 20 will have Estádio da Luz and Stade de Lyon too. But I also believe we will have more stadia on 20. I mean, come on, FIFA 19 sported 23 new stadia compared to 18, and I think FIFA 20 will also have somewhere between 10 to 20 new grounds.
These last days, people are incredibly tending to forget that EA probably has the intention of giving more depth to the Bundesliga and some of the German stadiums were scanned during last year. For me, it is likely that we’ll see the addition of some more stadiums from Germany, perhaps around half a dozen, if not the same treatment Spain received in 19.
Add to that, perhaps, one or two stadiums from Russia which are not under PES’ license because their teams are not on the Russian top league (and the Russian stadia are made since 2018 for the FIFA 18 World Cup dlc), one or two stadiums from Italy, one or two from the rest of the world (from Mexico and/or the US, perhaps), and even (more unlikely), one or two surprises. Also, don’t forget that, due to the PES agreement with the Russian top league, it is likely (in fact, it is certain) that Otkrytie Arena, which is in 19, will be out from 20.
