FIFA Manager 13 - Your Ideas

They need to work on their 3D match engine. My main problems are:
The wingers never cut in, even when they are like miles in front, they just cross it all the way back
The finishing could be more diverse rather than the ball always being curled into the top corner


There are many more flaws in the 3D match engine but those are the ones that bug me the most

The player position level must be determined majorly by the important/key skills for that position.
It's just retarded because I can get young players at level 70 or whatever and most of their skills have gone up over 85. I personally have never ever liked the whole position training thing. Their skills should determine the majority of the position.
Skills also need limitations depending on talent and best positions.
Sometimes in my games I've looked at other players in the world and Messi is over 90 in random skills e.g. tackling and strength. That's retarded.

1) fix the different continental leagues to reflect how the competitions are actually played, cause not everyone plays in europe
2) license some more league, particularly turkey and japan, who have really awsome leagues
3) allow more control over tactics, not simply how you pass the ball and cross it, but where you like to control the ball and what you want to emphasize.

I have upgraded my training facilities if FIFA MANAGER 12 to the MAX, but still have players loosing skills? What gives?

One thin that makes me SICK is NEGATIVE SKILLS for NO REASON even if you
have highly talented players and maximum training facility possible.

I don't like the idea of veteran players loosing skills with age. They should instead very gradually loose stamina, speed at a reasonable rate whereas passing, technique, dribbling, set plays should remain strong.

Also each player should have a unique stats profile and should have a maximum training potential at the peak and end of their careers. Eg. Lampard peak MF rating 90 and end rating of 78 when reaching retirement.

Also loaning a player should NOT reduce his teamwork skill but boost it
by the number of appearances made. Mental skills should also develop naturally and each player must have a unique mental skill development profile.

In 3D mode please show realistic match simulation and player sprints,
penalties and keeper saves. Players should not behave like ROBOTS (or NOOBS for that matters).

Speed up the match simulation mode and fix the loss of skills when you simulate ahead a couple of months or so. Also why are new players signed, when you are specifically in charge of player transfers even when you simulate ahead. This should be fixed.

And there is ABSOLUTELY no need to create a 5, 6, or 7GB game installation. When today's games are getting SMALLER and with BETTER graphics (Torchlight, Din's Curse, Space Pirates And Zombies etc. etc.),
what the f*cks sake making a large package chock full of EA sh*t???

To fifa makers for sooooo many years now I've been dying for a modern footie manager game on xbox (not to botherd bout ps3). I'd love a new manager game on xbox not everybody is into manager games on a computer its soo long I know that data would be much but we don't need every last league init I doubt I'm going to buy much talent in leagues like malaysia and iran and so on. But I'm sure there's enough to have maybe 20 diffrent country leagues and all lower divisions in most of them. ( We don't need pointless leagues space consummin we can make world class talents out of plenty more leagues.. A xbox version wud sell and bring in great revenue for u lot.. Who remembers let's make a soccer team a more modern version of tha with great graphics more leagues great 3d match engine and customizable things like stadium build from like the lma manager series what would you lot lose I'm sure its not hard to put in a sly game from a smaller version of the pc version... Xbox is in desperate need of a manager game and fifa can kick it off with this cut down version from the unnessacery amount of leagues and players ur never gonna buy with the lack of quality in most leagues .. Please fifa look what I'm sayin I'm sure these points are valid I'm makin .. A whole new chain of business for xbox market with fifa manager 13 on xbox so when I can't be asked to focus on playin fifa 13 I can jus switch the disk and manage instead :)

I hope have Malaysia league on fifa manager 2013 and also have 3d control on fifa manager like before this FIFA Manager 2008 to 2011...

I definitely support "..."saying the AI needs improvement, but not only that. 1st, AI teams need to rotate players more often. The AI teams need to play the younger players more. The only way i can see that happen is if normal training can alter the confidence and morale of all players, leading to a much more dynamic fluctuation of the players overall stat, which is what the Ai depends on to select the roster.
2nd) position training needs to be fixed. As of now, it's doing pretty much nothing. I suggest change the position stat to a +/-5 stat depending on how often the player plays the position. This will let the other stats of the player play a more important role, as well as letting the manage be creative to setup their team according to the player's ability and train players to play a certain position in a span of 1 or 2 seasons MAX.
3rd, speed up the game pace a bit(on x1 speed i mean) to match real footballer movements. As of now they're dribbling like 70 year-olds on my labtop. That being said, i do understand the speed differs from comp to comp, but it SHOULDN'T!!. if the problem is real-time calculation lagging the game, then change the game speed with a slider(not just x1-x4 speed) for manual adjustment and start the game with a preset speed that will match the intended game pace on different comps.(basically the game checks comp specs and then change the game speed to match up with the intended speed.
4th, more variety in player types and more player individuality. I wonder why all the time the Ox, who's a "run channels" player would dribble as well and in very similar fashion like a "dribbler" player like Ronaldo, Van Persie.
give more different types of players and let them act more differently.
channel runners should be more alert to long balls and make darting runs. Dribblers should rely more on it's dribbling skills to hold the ball and complete and pass/shot/cross. ball winners definitely are always aiming for loose balls running around the area or try hard to snatch the ball away with a tackle...etc
5th, capital for all clubs should be a much tighter budget(maybe not chelsea or Man city). Right now, even if i went crazy and buy 8-9 players a season, i can easily earn my money back with partly, the easy game difficulty, as well as sponsors from nowhere giving me loads of money in a big match. Not saying that shouldn't happen, but maybe less amounts, giving more of a challenge to players.
I Strongly disagree with a difficulty setting however. Because as of now, I believe the game still hasn't got the balance right in terms of difficulty. Do Not implement game difficulty until u get most of the game running smoothly, especially at around 7-8 seasons where most star players had retire and new generations need to come.

I would love to see a strong emphasis on developing the AI in Fifa Manager. The AI is extremely weak on Football Manager, especially in terms of transfers. The majority of Football Manager players find the game far too easy and have started complaining about this more in recent years, but SI don't realise the full extent of this. If Fifa Manager were to have a superior AI and an improved match engine, it would be a serious rival to Football Manager. There are many Football Manager users who would have their heads turned by a challenging simulation.

In manager mode you should be able to manage international teams in the top international tournaments such as world cup, euros etc. Offers should come about after success at club level. it would be more realistic this way.

2)More competitions Just like football manager.In that case, In truth, football manager is better.Contenental cups, olympic, world cup quali for all continets, u19,u20,21,u23 etc.
3)ingame editing for some features, atleast
4)More in game town datas.Now we have to enter the towndatas in case of newly created clubs.
5)More commentory options and sound veriety.
6)Just like football manager there must be ingames leagues for all nations.
7)what about other nations like zanzibar. Gibraltere.etc.ther must be an option to add more nations

The main improvement required is the AI. After playing through ten seasons the big clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United e.t.c all have an average squad age of 30+ because they only ever buy old players who are real. In other words, they'll never buy a 23yr old the game created who is rated 83 but will instead buy a 36yr old James Milner rated 80. You don't see the top teams buying people that old in real life now so why does it happen in the game? Also, it makes the game too easy as I can easily buy a young talent as there is no competition - every one else is buying a 50yr old Alessandro Nesta.
If this was improved it would make the game far more entertaining as you could take a mid-tabled side with a small budget to, possibly, the Europa League and then get a job at one of the top teams rather than taking the tiny team to victory in all competitions after only a few years which just isn't realistic

And the most important thing to make league selection changeble (selectable) during the play. because does not all computers memory could select all leagues. maybe i will select 10 leagues but after some year in this 10 leagues i thing that some body would like to change league country. the change of the leagues could be changed before the season starts from 31 june to 1 july (year and in computer) . so when this possobility could come?

You should increase the field dimension. It's really easy to realize the field is too short just by comparing with an actual football field. This difference is even bigger when we're talking about the box. Penalty Area should be way larger. And this would, thus, making corner kicks more real. There's too few succesful corner plays.

There's also too much superb goals that reach the furthermost angle between the bars, making the game less believable.

Also, as a brazilian fan of Grêmio, it's really annoying seeing players that have expressed real intentions of coming back (to Grêmio, in real life) saying they wouldn't move to smaller clubs. I think your definition of "smaller club" is getting mixed up with "clubs we know better". Lot's of brazilian/argentinian clubs have won FIFA Club World Cup over the best international teams and you still consider them smaller clubs. I'd like to make lots of money in Grêmio and make an offer for Lucas Leiva with real chances of buying him.

I have bought and followed the series from as far back as total football and it's just got worse after 07. I would like if it went back to that format because it was way harder to win cups and leagues especially Europe there was far less goals scored in games aswell. Even the match graphics were far better and the movement of the players. A lot of my mates say the same and we all bought the latest version and went back to 07. If it was even possible to buy an update of the modern players for 07 I would gladly pay 50 euro or the equivalent as the 2013 game FIFA manager 07 kicks ?... I do hope you could help me out because I love the series

I would like to tell that Fifa Manager first trump card is the 3D game mode.
However, it's the most deceiving (year after year).
How player in 3D mode are so bad? Why tatcics are so faraway of reality and never match in 3Dgame.
Why 3D game react so differently with different laptop or PC?
C'mon, for the next one, please, aim for a real up of the 3D game !!

3d an AI is like a game from 1984. i can play fifa with people from all over the world. fifa manager with friends all over the world ??? no BF has no ideas why we need this. and if you told this this company. YOUR out of this forum for 20 years. we need an other company how bring the campe to 2013. BF could not do this. every year only simply updates. maybe 100 hours work . and for this we should pay 50 €

Porting Fifa/Fifa Manger to Mac OS would be great, the percentage of mac users is almost getting to 10% and growing... if EA Sports (and other companies) start making games for mac, there would be more happy users... I would by both games for shore...

I'm a FIFA/FIFA Manager addict; but I've been tortured in the last year or so.
I've switched from a pc to an Apple MacBook Pro, and as such, I can't enjoy my favorite games.
Please, please, please, please port FIFA Manager 13 and FIFA13 for Mac OS X... pleeeeeaaaassseee!
I've tried launching both FIFA12 & FIFA Manager 12 with Parallels Desktop but both wouldn't work.

There is not any individual orders to customize passing style, closing down option.

Man marking & special marking must be more strict & have options like (light marking or strict marking)
Great defenders like Nesta, Thiago Silva seem to be lazy sometimes and cannot stop strikers. They do not go towards the striker. They instead run away from strikers. Sometimes, they go forward when strikers are coming near to goalpost.

The game play is quite unrealistic. Refer to FIFA10.
The on-pitch characters in FIFA12 move too slowly!
There are too many good young footballers. World class footballers should be rare!! Do not be too generous!
Too many upgrade options!
Shout options should be like in FIFA10.

New owners and frankly the game's too easy. Every season it's just a few transfers, ending the last on a high and your team level is about 30 more than last time. Players need to have compatability issues with each other and if you could add personalities that could clash, that would be good. Also, stadium editor and 3d could be better. Really, as long as you're not stupid, there's no danger of being fired or relegated in any division.

Fifa Manager 13 needs the transfer market to be a lot more realistic in player valuations and negotiations on Fifa 12 e.g i needed to pay 800 million GBP just to sign lionel messi that is ridiculous this is the only part ofthe game that i am currently frustrated with and at the moment is the only thing that makes football manager a better game.Please change this as Fifa is so much better on everything else and i would love to come back to playing Fifa Manager soon.

The youth system needs a huge fix, rare to see good players come from smaller clubs, talent is not only for the youth players of the 4 biggest clubs in PL.

1 - simulated weather.
Please change the weather in accordance with the description i.e : when it says snow then show in 3D snow and orange ball, if its raining make the pitch conditions reflect how the ball plays, if its cold / frosty make the ball bounce higher, small things.

2 - Team orders has already been mentioned somewhere but when you change the style of play, i.e: short passing then the 3D should reflect this, at the momment it doesnt and all players still hoof long balls!!

3 - Transfers : Allow managers to talk to players who wouldnt normally want to transfer to that club and see if they can tempt them with an attractive financial package.

4 - Retirement: Allow managers to approach retiring players or those that have decided to end their career to convince them to play on. At the moment once they have said they are retiring nothing can be done to change this.

5 - Discipline : Allow players that have poor discipline (Joey BArton, Ballotelli)to react on the pitch and make fouls, off the ball incidents, stamps etc.

Please improve 3D game in the game, and add the Ukrainian league with real teams and stadiums forms. Also make a more interesting chat with the press. or make an in-game editor football shape with the possibility of applying the title sponsor's logo on the shirt with which a contract was signed at the beginning of the season

A 3D simulation engine that's not from the 90's. That's what should be top of the list.

1) pls add Africa Cup of Nations and AFC Asian Cup b/c in some countries like scotland i can't buy players from asia or africa due to their lack of appearance in national team in previous season .

3) able to send youth players for more than one year loan deal
4)more realistic player contract b/c there are many players in a league who can't negotiate for contract extention and as a result,there r many free players .

#3 - The stadion editor is not well constructed, it needs to be remade.

#4 - Cooperation between two teams must be improved, because I never could use it in those terms

#5 - Player talk is very stupid thing, every week I have to talk with players to "improve" their condition.

#6 - There is no time to train with national teams(like only 2 days, its not enough)

#7 - There are must be more options in the tactics, they are not enough complicated.

#8 - AI must be improved (PC managers, teams and etc.) - Other managers aren't doing anything.

#9 - Staff picking is bland and boring

#10 - More players with pictures will be great, because I hate when there is not player picture and I am watching the 3D model

#11 - Team shirts must be editable (etc puting sponsor logos or other cosmetic changes, no matter I play with Real Madrid or my own created team)

#12 - Detailed Scouting – The scout reports right now are kind of useless. A scout should be able to tell how a player can fit into ur squad.

#13 - Youth teams - I see them useless right now, because of the weak part of the AI of the game

1.3D games need to be improved.

2.To make the game more realistic,the market value and the level of the players above 30 should not decreased so quickly.

3.Personal life of player manager need to be more improved and realistic.

4.After four or five years,many talented players from other big team become free agent.Due to this the big teams lose their icon players and their value decreased a lot.So,the relation between the club and players of other teams need to be more realistic.

But at last it is a must to say,except Fifa Manager a single day of my life is horrible.

We definitely need ukrainian league to be added to the game.

The Teams must do rotations

My suggestions for Fifa Manager 13 to include [Eng level 7]Southern Premier League, [Eng level 7]Northern Premier League and [Eng level 7]Isthmian League. Also to include all the Prelinary Rounds in the FA Cup leading up to 1st Round FA Cup. Make the game go for 10 full seasons. Please also go back to the five difficulty levels as Fifa manager 11 did [1.Very Easy, 2. Easy, 3. Normal, 4. Hard, 5. Very Hard], for the people who aren't good at computer games, they can select Very Easy, then after they get better they can select a harder level.

Please add more friendlies for the national teams, especially the World Cup and European Championship, and so they could develop the infrastructure of both clubs.
