FIFA 23 Dual Entitlement

FIFA 23 Dual Entitlement

FIFA 23 Dual Entitlement is a feature that enables you to upgrade your copy of FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, free of charge.

This means, if you buy FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 4 first and later you buy a PlayStation 5 console, you won’t need to buy a copy of FIFA 23 for PlayStation 5. What you will need to do, is just use the Dual Entitlement feature to bring your copy of FIFA 23 to your new PS5 console.

This feature will also let you carry over and transfer all of your FIFA 23 data and progress from your previous console to the new one. Below is the official FAQ FIFA 23 Dual Entitlement written by EA.

The FIFA 23 Dual Entitlement feature only works on FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition, and users who have FIFA 23 Standard Edition are not able to use this feature.

How do I make sure I benefit from Dual Entitlement on my PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X?

If you buy FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will be able to upgrade your copy at no extra cost once you have the corresponding next generation console (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X) by downloading it to your console up until the release of FIFA 23.

Do I have to purchase FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition digitally to benefit from Dual Entitlement?

The physical copy of FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 4 includes the right to download and play the PlayStation 5 version of the game (and Xbox One with Xbox Series X), so if you buy a next-generation console with a disc drive, you can still upgrade via Dual Entitlement.
